Perfectly good exercise bands, these.
They are in separate open ended lengths, not in closed loops.
Arrive in presentable but straightforward packaging.. a printed cardboard box.
I’ve awarded 5 stars as they are functional and as described.
Other bands I’ve bought came with a wee drawstring carry pouch which was useful but no carry bag with these ones.
And there is a printed sheet with suggested exercises which is meant to be useful but more guidance is needed including the importance of warm-up routines. So a nice thought but not really helpful.
After Covid, I haven’t gone back to the gym but have bought equipment to use at home. I really liked using resistance bands at the gym so ordered these when I spotted them. I’m mainly using the lightest one at the moment (grey) but have tried the other two. The orange one doesn’t feel much more resistant than the grey but the black one definitely has more resistance. The bands are easy to use and take up very little space. There’s a sheet with exercises but I’m using the ones I did at the gym. As well as me using them, my son can use them for his physio exercises. Really good so far.
These bands are really handy for physio, stretching, or just doing light resistance work instead of weights. The three different strengths have a nice wide tension range to them. The bands themselves are nice colours and don’t leave that horrible rubber smell on your skin. I have had allergic reactions so some rubber resistance bands in the past but I was fine with these. Only downfall would be that they don’t come with a storage pouch to transport them places which is a pain because they can easily unravel and get in a tangles mess in your bag. Decent price for the quality of the item.
You get three bands that are light, medium and heavy use in three different colours so you know which one is which . The sizes are 5″ wide and 47″ long so you have a good length to tie to a door handle to do strengthening exercises , you do get some pictures to give you an idea of what to do. These are the same as the ones as I uses to have from the physio dept so should last .
Very well made and an excellent gym essential for stretching and strength. Good price too for three bands
So I’m using these as I’m restarting my fitness journey, I’m pretty out of shape so I’m using the light band to build myself up.
They are different colours so you won’t get the strengths mixed up. There is a guide on the back of the box which tells you which colour is which strength. The grey is the lightest, orange is medium and black is the heaviest.
It also comes with a little piece of paper which gives you a few exercises that are perfect to use with these resistance bands. All the bands are the same length which is fine for me at 5ft1.
Three flat resistance bands with light ,medium and heavy resistance for me they have been really useful for maintaining and activating different muscle groups plus not the usual rubber smell coming from the bands the only negative I would give is the bands could be supplied with a small bag or pouch style to store and carry around otherwise no complaints
These Resistance Bands do exactly what they are supposed to. They aren’t top quality for the price but they aren’t cheap either and haven’t broken on me yet or given me any cause for concern.
They are well priced all things considered and perfect for a beginner or if you’re just starting out using them and want to see what they are all about or if they will be helpful to you.
All in all have no complaints and would recommend.
This is a great set of resistance bands. The box contains three bands of graded resistance:
Grey is light, Orange is medium and the Black provides heavy resistance. I have been prescribed resistance band exercises by my physo for my shoulder imbalance that has been causing biceps tendinitis. I have found these great for the rotator cuff rehab exercises (I started with the grey band and have progressed to the orange).
The bands are 47″ long which is a good length to tie around a door handle or to double up as a loop. They are 6″ wide which is also comfortable to hold.
The pack of three bands is currently selling at a Prime price of 10.99 which I think is good value.
As a mum of 3 who also works full time, going to thr gym and getting exercise is difficult. I purchased these to do at home when I get a spare 10min.
All 3 bands are the same length, which for me is fine.
It also comes with a sheet of paper with 8 exercises you can do with them. So anyone new to using them this is a great help to start off.
The silver bands has thr least resistance and the black one has the most resistance.
These have a very good width. I have recently been recovering from an achilles injury and these have been very valuable. A good variance of resistance from easy to hard.
Good quality bands. Did not snap at all during my recovery period.
This is a decent pack of 3 resistance bands. The quality seems relatively good for what I would consier a budget pack of them. There’s simple directions for a number of different exercises – nice but nothing which you couldn’t work out yourself.
In terms of stretch, expect something in the region of up to triple their un stretch length, with a decent amount of resistance.
The price however is a little bit on the high side, but the quality seems decent enough and so far I’ve not broken any of them.
eally easy to use, you can use these in all typed of exercises if you know how to use them. The material is rubber so durability will be good but it will eventually snap so always be careful if any exercises are to do with pushing as it can result in a bad injury
I’d been searching for bands like these for ages that aren’t formed into a loop because there are lots of exercise routines I’ve seen and wanted to try that use these instead of the looped ones I already have.
This set seems good and time will tell how long they will last but so far they seem to be exactly what I needed and there are suggested exercises included in the leaflet in the box if you’ve never used them before.
At the time of this review only 10.99 for 3 resistance bands. Good stretch material, flat and wide. Overall, a great beginner set. I usually feel more confident using loops rather than lengths, these you have to wrap around your hands to make sure you don’t let go. However, once I got used to the different ways of holding them, I’ve found these great to use.
Really pleased with these, I bought different makes from a well known shop and they split within a couple of weeks after short daily use. These are comfy to use and the sizes stated are smaller than the bands I received mine are 48-49″ long and nearly 6″ wide, the pale grey is light intensity, then the orange is medium intensity and the black is heavy intensity. There is also included a handy exercise chart which gives instructions for triceps, shoulders, biceps, glutes, chest, body and legs exercises, comes in a sturdy box, these are the long flat resistance bands not the loop ones, they are in my opinion worth the money and am very pleased with them.
This is a set of three bands which, for me, are a good range for arm and leg work. They are nice and stretchy and seem to top out at around three times their original length at full stretch.
You can use these end-to-end, stepping on one end and using the full length, you can double them up, and you can of course hold further along their length to get even shorter lengths (or cut them if needed). They can also be knotted to make loops if desired, say for ankle work.
They come with a short A4 one-sided leaflet with eight common exercises on them, which is handy when you are starting out with resistance bands.
The price seems reasonable right now, though will no doubt vary over time. The one downside is that they arrive with some sort of coating that leaves your hands dusty/smelly, so I am going to give mine a light wash to get the coating off them. Note that the back of the box mentions California Proposition 65 and that these contain something that is carcinogenic (see photo), but does not state what that ingredient is. There are a nearly a thousand chemicals on the P65 list and it could be one or more of any of these. More clarity on this would be helpful to consumers.
I don’t think they’re as thick as the ones I used in hospital but they’re coated and stretchy enough. I haven’t had any issues with them but I am short at about 5’6″.
Comes with a 8 different exercises. Tricep Lift, Cross Body Pull, Sitting Row, Lunges, Shoulder Lift, Bicep Curl, Glute Curl and Lateral Chest Press. Very simple directions for use and there’s a bit of extra wording on how to do them if you’re still not sure.
The market is pretty saturated with resistance bands but I can recommend these for sure. At 10.99 might be pushing the higher end but you do get a good product here that I have a fair bit of confidence will last a while and shouldn’t* snap. They will wear with time but time will tell on how they fair with use.
If you’re looking for non-looped bands like I have been, these are good! Simple exercises that you don’t need anything else to do them. I think everyone should have some if they don’t have a lot of time to exercise or go places, these should suffice for most people to get a bit of exercise and you don’t need anything other than these. There are other exercises you can do but most of the ones in the leaflet will do for general exercise.
These GoZone resistance bands are perfectly decent.
I have used other sets of resistance bands before and I think this pack of 3 bands from GoZone are just as good as others I have tried – they are no better but also no worse than others. I would go so far as to say that they are pretty much identical to other sets of resistance bands I have tried.
For me personally, I use the two stronger bands most. I personally find the thinnest band to be of the least use in my workout routines, but then I have been working out pretty much all of my adult life.
I have a membership to a gym so don’t actually use these bands very often. I keep one band near my desktop computer and sometimes do some light pull exercises to work my upper back when I feel I have been hunched over my computer for too long. I also take bands with me on business trips when I’m travelling by train or plane and want some way to do resistance work but without having to carry heavy or bulky items with me.
I’m giving these bands 4 stars overall. They do the job in terms of providing options for exercise. But I can’t really say that they are special or better than others though.
