The battery on the back counter balances the goggles. Completely adjustable and stays put. Head strap that fits over the top is thick and soft so the added weight is almost unnoticeable. Built for the endurance gamer with the extra battery life but worth it if just for the added comfort of the standard 2 hr run time.
I First bought the Occulus Quest 2 back in January and I was so sad because the head straps it came with caused me so much tension and headaches when wearing it. I thought I would not be able to use leave alone enjoy it. Then I came across this product and bought it not expecting much but man!!! It changes everything! So comfortable, no more tension, no more pain!!! Sooo happy with it!! And the extra batter life is just a bonus! If you are on the fence – buy ur!!
I’m fairly new to VR, so adding batteries or accessories is new to me. A friend suggested either a 16 foot extension cord or battery pack to help balance to face piece and give freedom of movement. This item did not disappoint in any way. Very simple installation, charges using the Quest 2 stock charger. The instructions provided were useful but almost not needed as the unit was very easy to attach. It balances the headset to the point of it being barely noticeable and the cushioning is very comfortable even after over 2 hours of continuous use.
It stays on my head when working out, I can wear it over a backwards baseball cap, the tightness clicker works well. It does a better job of not slipping down over my eyes when it’s fitted just right. It’s not convenient when you have more than one person that uses it do to all the adjustments you can make.
The -1 star is just because the comfort is almost there. I like the forehead cushion which is what I wanted. The strap feels like it’s wider than I want, and it feels like it slips upward on the back of my head when I look up.
Easy to set up needs time and a few adjustments to get thr best fit but sit on your head not clamp to it I am happy with the headse
First off, it’s super comfy. The strap does a great job of spreading the headset’s weight evenly, so it doesn’t feel heavy even after playing for hours. I’ve been enjoying long gaming sessions without feeling like my neck’s gonna give out on me.
The battery life is awesome. I can play for hours without stressing about the battery dying in the middle of my game. It’s awesome to be able to just dive into the VR world without any annoying interruptions.
The strap stays put too, no matter how much I move around during my games. I’ve tested it with some pretty intense games, and it didn’t budge or shift at all. This is a big deal for me, because I don’t have to stop every couple of minutes to adjust the headset AND my glasses.
The only not-so-great thing I’ve noticed is that it can get a bit sweaty around the eyes after playing for a while. It’s not a huge deal, though—just take a break and wipe off the sweat, and you’re good to go!
All in all, this Battery Head Strap for Quest 2 has made a huge difference in my VR gaming life. It’s crazy comfortable, the battery life is fantastic, and it stays put even when I’m moving around a lot. If you wear glasses, this strap is definitely worth checking out. Just remember to take breaks and wipe off any sweat, and you’ll be all set for the best VR experience ever!

I was skeptical to get this one at first, I’ve got a larger head and I sweat for like no reason, this headset has lasted through iracing & blade and sorcery. No headaches superb comfort. And ohhh so much better then the stock oculus headstrap.
My daughter uses it with her oculus device and absolutely loves it! It provides great head support and keeps it charged so she can continue playing. A great purchase!

Arrived quickly. Easy to install. Easy changing to fit. Very comfortable. However, absolute useless for fitness apps. I have short hair and quite sweaty and regardless how I fit on my head it loses stability in a few sec.
I bought this product to solve the problem of fatigue on my 11 year old head from wearing other attachments. It has worked wonderfully!! The battery is a bonus that I did not realize I needed until I got it.
This is the best head strap for the quest 2. What separates this with others is the hard plastic strap on front or forehead which supports the weight of the device. The extra battery is a must and helps off set the heavier front side.
Much better and more comfortable than the stock one especially for kids. Battery is OK.
While I loved playing the VR after about 10 mins I could not play anymore due to getting bad headaches. My dad recommended this. Not only do I get to play longer, it feels more comfortable. The extra battery power helps also. Recommend
Great addition for my VR headset! So much more comfortable than the strap headset. Easy to adjust to your own desires. The backup battery is also nice so I can keep playing without plugging in. Adds a little weight but good to have.
My kids ages range from 7-14. Works for all of them. A little heavy on their heads at first. They got used to it though. Fits comfortably, nice cushion for their heads and gives them double the play time. We use it with the Occulus 2.
Very comfortable. It adds some weight and makes it kinda bulky. I wish it had fit in my case that I got. But the case wasn’t meant for extra headstrong accessories so it is what it is.
Great headstrap with nice extra power supply. Provide very good and comfortable support. Much better than the original straps and it is very easy to use/adjust. Extra power allows for extended use. Only complaint is I would like to be able to charge the added power and the head unit at the same time with a single cord.

I bought this Battery Head Strap Compatible with Quest 2 for my Son and he loves it . Its strong and fit him perfectly with all the movement that he do . I tried it myself and i love this Battery head strap better than the original head strap it came with . I would definitely recommend this .
This head strap is definitely worth the purchase. The original strap that comes on the headset instantly gave me a headache that lasted for hours. I’ve been able to play long stretches with this new strap and couldn’t be more pleased with it. I can’t speak for the extra battery length but I’d buy it again even without it for the price!
I decided to replace a different brand with this one because it has the battery pack. Really easy to charge, install, and use. It doesn’t get in the way of my base charger either. Nice quality and it sits on my head much steadier. I use my meta for exercise mostly and it hasn’t budged yet. Battery adds a ton of extra time to play as well. Worth the cost!
I researched several replacement head straps and am glad I chose this one. Very easy to install, easy to adjust using the dial, and very comfortable as it takes the pressure off your forehead and cheeks. I’m not sure about the battery life as I get tired of playing before the battery runs out.

GAME CHANGER! This head piece is comfortable and fits to your head. It removes all the weight of the oculus, so there is no tension on your forehead and it still fits tightly. I love how the back flips up making it easy to put on and take off. The battery pack will automatically turn on when you plug it in to your headset, which is a nice feature to have. Because of the comfort and extra battery life you are able to game for longer periods of time. All in all, I highly recommend this head strap!

My family and I have really enjoyed this product. It fits all of our heads just right and keeps the headset in good position. It can be moved into all custom positions for us all.
I did not like the fit at all. It also lets a lot of light in from the nose area and overall I was disappointed. Returning both tomorrow! Ordered another brand will see how that goes! Stick with the original oculus strap before using this one!

This head strap was a game changer! I allowed my son and his friends to use the oculus seamlessly, adjusting themselves as they traded off. It is secure too for the boxing games that they love to play. I would highly recommend. Great price and easy to use!

It fits comfortably and takes pressure off of your cheeks. It works so well I bought another one to replace the Quest 2 Elite strap on our other Quest. I would buy again.

Absolutely the most important upgrade you can get for your oculus 2! This thing is crazy comfortable and allows me to play longer without a headache. The pads are soft but still durable. Oh and don’t forget the great price point compared to others.
I bought this for my son after the original strap that came with his VR broke off. He said it’s very comfortable and it’s easier to play with this strap because it’s more secure. It fit seamlessly with his Occulus Quest VR headset.
A great improvement over the strap that comes with the Oculus. Really easy to swap out and is comfortable on the head. Makes it easy to flip up should you need to see the real world.. this is a great benefit if you’re wearing glasses since the old strap makes it quite hard to take off while wearing glasses.
My son bought this to relieve the forehead pressure you invariably get with the stock strap provided by Oculus. He’s reported that it does do this but like all things, isnt a perfect fit, but an improvement.
So as such I guess its done its job and its certainly cheaper than the elite strap, and as per lots of reviews its not bad.

If you plan to use the quest 2 now at all in future, do yourself a favour and get this. It makes a big difference in comfort, and holds the headset in the right place so you’re not constantly losing focus and having to move it around.
So much more comfortable than the original headstrap. I can play comfortably for the entire duration of the battery life, whereas before I could only play about 20 minutes before it got uncomfortable. I do wish I paid a bit more to get the one with the battery pack though.
FINALLY!
Tonight at 12:20AM Eastern Time we started our weekly private sandbox match in “Population: One” with 8 of our friends. At 2:05AM we lost the first of our friends when the batteries in her Oculus died. She plugged in an external battery pack and came back into the game.
We lost Friends number 2 and 3 at 3:35AM to dead batteries. The Battery in their Oculus AND in their external battery packs both died. They both plugged in a second set of external batteries and came back into the game.
We lost several more friends to dead batteries starting at about 4:30AM…
At 5:25 (over FIVE HOURS of constant playing time) my wife and I both finally got low battery warnings from our Oculus headsets while using these Yoges head-straps/batteries, and they STILL felt comfortable!
We’re used to having to each carry around a heavy “10Ah (10,000mAh) external battery” strapped to other brands of head-straps to be able to play that long! These head straps are very light weight, COMFORTABLE, and the built-in batteries actually keep the batteries in the Oculus Quest 2 headset charged for HOURS during intensive game play… When the Yoges head strap’s battery dies, we still have the internal Oculus battery charged up, which gives us about another 2+ hours of play time… Like I said above, we played for over 5 hours straight before getting the first low battery warning, meaning the batteries in the Yoges AND in the Oculus, were finally below 20%!
Sure, our 10Ah External battery packs will usually last 8-9 hours, but honestly, 5 hours of gaming at a stretch is almost too much. The 5,000mAh Batteries in the Yoges keep the Oculus’ batteries charged for over 3 extra hours, but they are lightweight enough that you don’t notice you have a second battery inside the head strap, while also being the most comfortable head straps we’re bought.
We’ve been VERY disappointed with the built-in batteries in other brands of head straps that just didn’t last very long, or that were VERY heavy, OR the other brands of head straps got uncomfortable after a few hours. These Yoges head straps are the PERFECT mix of comfort, secure fit, and battery performance, while not being heavy. The Yoges come with a padded, flexible, “Top-Of-The-Head, Front to Back” strap that we took off right off the bat… it’s not needed at all. The Yoges head strap is light enough, and secure enough, that the top head strap never touches your head anyway.
These are THE FIRST Head-Straps we’ve bought that we have NO complaints about! We’ve already started recommending them to our friends, and I just now bought another set of these to give to a friend. I can’t give them any higher praise than that.

I also noticed it held the headgear in place when moving about more aggressively. Expecting my Son-in-Law to buy one as well… maybe it works for small headed people as well?

I would have given this 5 stars but I had a couple of issues so I deducted one star for those. They are minor issues that would not prevent me from buying this strap again but hopefully, the manufacturer will read this and take the issues under consideration when they design any future models. The issues I had were one, the directions were a little complicated and it took me a few minutes to get the strap put together and on my head correctly. I couldn’t figure out how to attach the top strap (over or under the sides?) Two, the strap was more comfortable than the one that came with the Oculus but not as tight as I would have liked and I was still able to see light around the bottom (over my nose). I did purchase a sweat band to wear underneath the Oculus and now I have a nice tight fit (the sweat band also keeps me from getting too hot so that issue worked out in the end. Three, the strap does not fit inside any of the Oculus carrying cases. It is wider than most other 3rd party straps and after trying all the different 3rd party cases, I gave up and found a nice sized box and lined it with felt to protect the Oculus. I am hoping the strap manufacturer will come out with a carrying case that the strap will fit inside of. Fourth, I bought extra batteries to use when I am playing but when I plug them into the strap nothing happens except the battery falls off. I still have not figured out any work around for this problem so I have to stop playing and plug the Oculus up to a power source to restore battery life. Like I said, all minor issues that don’t reduce the quality of the strap and it is still better than all the other straps I tried.
I don’t think I have a small head, but this headset could definitely be tighter. I’m an adult so this will probably not be small enough for a child. Definitely better than what comes with the Oculus though. Easy to adjust when switching between players.
Great product, easy to install. I did watch a you tube video however just to be sure I was doing it correctly. Super easy to adjust.

I wished I bought one of these years ago, it’s so much easier and comfier than the stupid supplied Oculus headstrap. The Oculus gets passed between myself and a 10-, 8- and 5-year old so the ease of adjustment, improved comfort – as it’s no long “clamped” to your face – are fabulous. I paid 29 on Cyber Monday and it’s already worth every penny. Minor quibbles instructions could be clearer, and the adjustment knob is very “clicky”.
I have had this for at least 6 months now if not longer. It is fantastic and I wish I had gotten it sooner. Reviews I read at the time complained about flimsy material and it cracking. So far so good for me. It took a little bit to find the perfect adjustments to make this comfortable but after a week or so I was able to get it just right and haven’t looked back. This is great for long play sessions and helps balance the weight more evenly. I fold this up every time I’m not using it and I haven’t seen any issues with anything.
The one and only down side is that the crank at the back is loud. It’s basically like a large zip tie system. So if you hate to hear a loud noise each time you put it on then don’t get this. By loud it’s just noticeable, pretty much like the same noise level you would get from pulling apart Velcro quickly.
What could have been a great bit of kit unfortunately wasn’t fit for purpose because it would go small enough for my 10 year old head.
A little too big for my 9 year old. But adjusts well for adults and older kids. Comfortable, easy to use and adjust.
If you’re like me and okay with your oculus to relax after a long day at work you need this headset. Once attached it’s like putting on a hat vs the original straps that make your oculus feel like it’s hanging off your face. It allows me to play longer and is extremely comfortable. I recommend this fully!
I think this is so much more comfortable than the regular strap and it feels way better. It took me quite a few tries at adjusting it, even with following the instructions, until I finally got it into a position that is comfortable to wear it. Take your time adjusting it and be aware that it may take quite a bit of moving to finally get it into a spot where you aren’t regretting your purchase.
I bought this recently to upgrade the Quest 2’s naff elastic strap. This feels so much more secure and so much more comfortable. Very pleased!

Bought for my child who loves the oculus but cannot wear it for longer than a few mins as it isn’t comfortable and even the sports strap is rubbish. This after market product is great. It’s the only one we’ve tried that actually gives some balance to the headset so that is sits comfortably even on small heads.
I’m really happy with this head strap. I’d been using the standard one that comes with the Quest 2 and I was surprised by how well the YOGES head strap held the headset to my face.
Because I was able to properly adjust the height and fit to my face, I was able to get a clearer image too.
After a few sessions in BeatSaber I felt a bead of sweat running past the side of my eye, so I took my headset off to find that I was properly sweating on my forehead. The head strap had allowed such a good seal around my face that I didn’t even notice!
Also better balanced and feels more like a hat rather than thing you strap to the front of your face.
I’ve always had issues adjusting the bands that come with the Oculus Quest 2. I could never get them to fit just right, or if I shared the headset, trying to explain to people how to adjust it was a total nightmare. This replacement feels so much better, is easier to adjust, and feels like it helps distribute the weight a bit better. The only complaint I have is that I wear glasses and for some reason, when I have them on, it feels like the top part on my forehead can be a bit too tight, and loosening it up makes it a bit too loose. Still, it’s way better than the built in one and worth a buy!
I’ll start by saying I got great customer service when I notified seller it did not tighten down as much as the product details said it should. They sent me photos how it should work, but somewhere between design and manufacturing, it wouldn’t tighten smaller than 23″ diameter, and I needed it to be just a little smaller. They even sent me a replacement, but the second one was exactly the same. That given, it’s still way more comfortable than the stock strap. I still use it, but it slips around on my narrower head, and I’m constantly having to adjust it on my face. I’ve sent my original head strap purchased to my friend, so I will update my review when she has a chance to try it out. I think for most adults, this would fit snug and be amazingly comfortable. Just measure the circumference of your head to make sure it’s at least 23 inches.
I find this really good as the original strap was uncomfy and felt the VR would fall off my head. This strap holds it firmly in place and I like that you can lift the VR off your eyes, but keep it connected to your head so it doesn’t go off. Hope it lasts, I’ve had it a few months now and it’s worked great. 5*

This headstrap is a completely positive upgrade to the basic one given, it’s really comfortable and it even looks great. It’s very simple to put together and to adjust if needed.
I was super sceptical of how much of a difference this would make, but was super shocked when I tried it on! is perfect for kids as makes adjusting it super simple for my boy and the vr now sits on his head so much nicer than the original strap 10/10 on this product!

I wanted to give this headset a decent run before I wrote this review and having worn it for around 20 hrs I think I can say I’m very happy with the purchase.
Build Quality – I’m impressed with the qualit of the its, sure its plastic but it attached to the Oculus firmly and securely, I hang my headset by the strap so this is key for me and it show no signs of budging.
Comfort – The Headset is very comfy, it took some time to get it right but the wheel at the back makes adjusting a breeze. It took me a while to figure that that the head strap should be adjusted too which allows the whole unit to slip to the rear of the head thus increasing comfort, there’s definitely a right way to put it on. Also moving between users is easy. The headset is well cushioned. Wearing it for several hours was a breeze.
Usability – when adjusted correctly the headset sits firm to the face and will cope with head movement easily and without issue, my 13 year old was fine (when he learnt how to adjust) as was I. Running, jumping, swerving and bouncing saw no issues.
All in all I’m very happy with this headset and at a very decent price its well worth the money, the only issue I have is as a glasses wearer I need to be more careful with removal, but some prescription lenses should help there. – this is nothing to do with the headset and would be an issue for any of these things.
After putting it on to my Quest 2 & fiddling about to get the right fit for my head it is nice and comfortable unlike the last halo headband I had. This one holds onto the side arms of the Quest2 a lot better and doesn’t side off when wearing it like my old one had a habit of doing. Good padding makes it feel comfortable.
I bought my son an oculus quest 2 for Xmas just gone as he had begged and begged for one. After noticing he hadn’t played on it very much I questioned him as to why. His answer was ” because it hurts my head ” so off we went to look for a new headstrap. Discovered this one on Amazon after a while of searching and saw it was reasonably priced so I purchased it in the hopes of getting my son back on his VR. I had high hopes for this as I’d previously purchased an oculus stand from the same company so hoped it would be of the same standard and quality. I wasn’t disappointed!! Admittedly, it is a little fiddly to attach at first but then so was the original one so I wasn’t worried about that. It is strong, robust and so so comfy!! I had to try it on myself to ensure it was all connected properly and found it so comfortable that I didn’t want to take it off! Anyway, after using the easy to use adjustable dial and positioning,my son found it so much more wearable and actually played on his quest for much longer than usual, asking for more time than his allowance lol!! So, in short, this headstrap is reasonably priced, fairly easy to install, super easy to adjust and fit to your head and very very comfortable!! I would definitely recommend this headstrap if you are having the same issues of discomfort on playing your oculus quest 2.
The product is very well made, and easy to install. It is definitely a better fit than the original since my son has quite a lot of hair. It is easy adjustable and exceeded my expectation. I would highly recommend. The product also comes well packaged with clear and concise instruction.
