My son loves this drying robe as it keep him super warm after an outdoor swim or triathlon. It’s definitely more a drying type of robe than a changing one. Yes it’s roomy but not enough to comfortable change in whilst wearing it. Unless you size up significantly.
It’s cosy inside being fleece lined. External zipped pockets and an internal one too. Fleeced hood and waterproof exterior. Compared to the brand leaders, this offers excellent value for money without breaking the bank. Highly recommended.

4.5* Waterproof and windproof parka poncho
An adorable little poncho for little ones. This fits the 8 year old beautifully. The poncho has a waterproof outer layer and a gorgeous thick and soft inner layer, to keep them nice and warm. You have a hood, zip up pockets and a zip up inner pocket too, alongside a normal opening pocket also. The sleeves have elasticated ends.
The size is quite good, from shoulder to the base, it’s around 80cm long, from shoulder tip to wrist, it’s 43cm long.
This is fab for those swimming days, when they come out into the cold. Even after bath time if the house is cold too. The little one has used it for a few different things now so I think it’s a good design. I would recommend it. It is a little more expensive than I thought it would be but I do think it’s good quality and well made.
This is an oversized kids waterproof changing robe. It is windproof, and warm and fleecy inside. It fits my 8 year old grandson – it’s long on him at the moment, but there is plenty of room width-wise, so it will last him quite a few years.
He had this because he loves outdoor swimming and when it’s not the middle of summer you can very quickly get cold when you get out of the pool. It is big enough for him to dry himself quickly with a towel, and get out of his trunks and into his clothes (using the robe as a poncho, so with his arms free) and when he is dressed putting his arms through. The inside of the coat didn’t seem to get wet, as a feared it might, so it was perfect then to wear to walk to the car, over his normal clothes.
He is very impressed with it, and his friends are very jealous! I do think it is expensive, but then if it lasts him for 5 or more years, it gets better value as the years pass.
It comes in it’s own drawstring bag to make it easy to transport and keep.
My daughters wanted on of these for ages and whilst we are not wild swimming or at the lido in this weather she has put it to use on the sidelines at football or after swim practice on a saturday. She says its warm and cozy and like being hugged by a huge fluffy cloud.
Lovely changing rope jacket, it’s so warm that you can actually wear it for dog walking or simply walking in the winter, my daughter it’s loving it, we have been taking it for her swimming lessons and so nice for her just to get in and get warm, she’s just 5 so it’s very spacious for me to change her and still be out of the cold, quality it’s brilliant, really soft too and water proof, now I keep it in the car for her swimming and just in case coat! Good value for money too. I highly recommend it.
My son loves this changing robe! He is an average sized 8 year old and its the right length for him and will be for another year, maybe longer. He puts it on after a swim so it keeps him warm from the pool to car park. It is soft, it kept its fluffiness and colour after washing (ours is black).
We tested this robe with our son after a bath, he found it warm and cosy with a very good fit. the quality seems ok but not the best on the zip that was a little fiddley at first. he was able to get changed but again found it hard to get a top on without lifting the robe. this may be an issue with girls. all in all does the job but not perfect 4 stars
Ordered this for my daughter as a rain coat for walking to & from school in rainy days because it is long enough to cover her thighs and warm with fleece lining. It is lightweight and roomy for extra layers under the coat. The waterproof outer material is also wind proof and makes a bit rustling sound. The fleece lining feels soft and comfortable. The cuffs are closed with elasticity. However, the sleeves are a bit short.
The robe comes rolled up in a material bag. It folds down easily and is thinner than I expected however I am told its lovely and warm on. The inner is not dissimilar to a dressing down, while the outside it waterproof. There are a couple of internal pockets, a hood and all pockets on the outside have zips. The garment appeared well made. My neice is 5 foot 5, very slim and 15. The kids robe was probably the right size on her. It was roomy enough to change in after the hot tub or sports but also didn’t look out of place being worn as a coat. Despite this being ordered as a dry robe, it has become the favourite coat! Although this is good quality 79.99 feels a little pricey.
The Hiturbo Kids Waterproof Changing Robe is a bit of a do-it-all for us, in the summer I’m sure it will service as a changing robe for the beach but for the moment it’s only been used for changing at the local indoor pool.
Most of the time it’s being used as a cosy throw on overcoat when we need to get the kids to and from the car in the really poor weather we’ve been having.
Regardless of the use case, the Hiturbo Kids Waterproof Changing Robe is good quality and really does keep the kids warm and, within reason, dry. As although it is somewhat water resistant, I wouldn’t go so far as to say waterproof.
The soft shell like outer fleecy inner allow for very comfortable experience overall. There are numerous pockets, both inside and outside the robe, should the kids need to keep something close.
Overall, I’m very happy with the robe, it has been and will continue to be useful, my only concern is over the price, as it’s a little high in my option.
With British weather changing more often than most people change their socks, it’s always a good idea to have a coat that’s ready for all conditions. Here we have an oversized water and windproof coat from HiTurbo for kids. As our daughter loved camping last year but wasn’t so keen on the cooler nights, we thought this would be idea so went ahead and ordered it.
The coat arrives in its own drawstring bag. Taking it out the material feels good quality and the fleece lining is quite thick. There are plenty of pockets on the outside and inside. And you could probably fit a small water bottle of a handwarmer or two in the inside ones. The zip works both ways and feels secure. My daughter is above average height for a 7 year old and it was a bit big on her, even accounting for the oversized design. However she will grow in to it. She said she felt cosy and warm with it on
This is a well made coat that is perfect for most outdoor activities. With plenty of protection from the elements and pockets to keep stuff in I can see us getting plenty of use out of it. However at 79.99(with an additional 20% off at the time of writing) it is towards the higher end of the market.
Perfect fit for my grand daughter, very comfortable and good quality, easy to fold and transport.
It’s really nice and warm after a swim, it fit my husband a large man size. I’m plus size I can wear it but no way could I get changed in it.. Get value compared to others.
Zips fastenings could be bigger for use with numb fingers
