We had a problem with our cameras, so I used the live chat to contact the company for advice.
The person who I was dealing with was called Yuki and I have never in my life had such a helpful understanding,Service I would say it was above and beyond, everything was sorted, so Yuki I would say you are a credit to Owltron. Anybody thinking of buying from this company from my experience I’d say you have nothing to lose.
Took a while to connect but think that was down to my Wifi as it worked in minutes when I tested it in my neighbours.I had read the reviews and almost changed my mind about purchasing it but it is actually worth every penny .I couldn’t be annoyed with the constant notifications so I put a timer on between certain hours for it to operate when I’m in bed to alarm me of any human detection outside my home .I wasnt able to connect it to my TV but I have a very good view on my phone .I paid 25 pounds for it as I got 10 pound discount so I’m very pleased .
The camera was easy to set up compared to others that I purchased previously. The quality is great and clear. The live chat agents are really helpful when there have been issues. Definitely worth every penny.
This camera is fantastic. We use it as a baby monitor, instead of paying hundreds of pounds for one! It works great, has good quality video and night vision. The cord connection on our camera became wobbly, probably from removing it and moving it around too much when we travelled with it. I used the live chat on the camera app to talk to customer services, ‘Fancy’ organised a new camera to be sent to me, and also offered a refund if I wanted. This was really helpful. This was 6 months after initially buying the camera! We are very happy with it!
I purchased the Camera so that I could keep an eye on my dog while I was out, and it is perfect. I can even talk to my dog remotely, especially if she seems to be a little stressed at noises from outside the house.
All in all, a great purchase at a reasonable price.
I bought this camera to replace one that has been working with no problems for 5 years until it developed an internal fault. I would say that if you’re just monitoring the video while still within the same wi-fi network, then it may be ok for you. However, I need to remotely monitor a music stream and therefore the audio side is important.
After a reasonably easy setup, the camera appeared to work ok in all functions, so I travelled home to try out the performance from a remote location. I should add that both ends of the link have fibre to the premises broadband (900mb/s) so bandwidth should not be a problem.
After some trouble from the app not being able to “retrieve a video stream” I eventually got a picture but in HD mode the stream was diabolical with the video stuttering and stalling, missing anything up to 30 seconds at a time. In SD mode, the video was better, giving me a fairly steady stream most of the time. Unfortunately, even in SD mode the one way audio was complete rubbish and incomprehensible. As this was the main reason I purchased this item, it is totally useless to me and will be consigned to the bin.
Really love this camera! I use it for my three month old at night and it’s very reliable.
Downside was that the cable it came with was a micro usb instead of a usb c. Thankfully I had the right one at home already but I would have had to order one separately if not! Would have been 5 stars otherwise.
I bought this camera to keep an eye on the dog when I go out. It`s a good camera…good quality picture but it`s let down by the app. Say I want to check motion that`s been recorded…..there are no thumbnail pics like with my other cctv apps ,so finding specific recordings is awkward. Now and then when I open the camera, the connection will drop (which they`re aware of so a fix may be on its way). On the whole though, it does the job and I`m mostly happy with it.
Oh, if you`re going to mount it on the ceiling or top of a doorway arch etc., you WILL need to buy a longer USB cable!

I bought this for use inside my home. It was very easy to set up using the Little Elf App. It gives clear pictures. I subscribe to the cloud service. This stores clips whenever there is movement detected, so you can review them at your leisure. The cloud service is for up to 3 cameras.
It’s also useful to be able to listen with the microphone feature

I biughr the cameras to check up on my cats when I’m away. Good camera at fair price which takes pictures when my cat approaches it and triggers the motion sensor. Its a shame that no video can be recorded without subscribing to the cloud plan. I’ve just purchased the cloud plan to explore how far the camera can go and whether it can also be used as a indoor security camera
I use this as a baby monitor and it is perfect. Good motion sensitivity and super clear colour and night vision images. Very good app which is easy to use and usefully you can control the camera from the app. It even has voice control so I can speak through the camera. Super easy to set up with WIFI and my partner is able to use it easily too from his phone. Definitely recommend, save yourself money on a traditional baby monitor and invest in one of these.

Fantastic camera with a lot of functionality for the price point. From the same company that brought you the Littlelf cameras, Owltron is the much needed update. The cameras can still be added to the Littlelf app, if like me you already have multiple cameras, or you can download the Owltron app. Functionality is brilliant, pinch to zoom, images are really good for the price point. Support are always on hand if you have any problems, and for my they have resolved any issues really quickly, which is how it should be. These cameras are a great way to protect your home if you are on a budget, even if you just buy a camera every month instead of paying for a big security system in one go. Night vision is pretty clear and sharp.

I’m very happy with the camera, I use it for seeing my visitors before answering the door, I also used it to monitor my dogs playing in the yard, I feel it has added to my comfort of knowing what’s happening at the front door and the yard.
Bought this product as an inexpensive baby monitor. It has excellent camera and fantastic night vision. I could also view it on my phone and my alexa devices such as echo show and fire tv. Fully recommend for that purpose. Can drop out on wifi occasionally but not sure if thats the device or my wifi so wont mark it dow

I had problems setting up the camera and received a response back from the Owltron team within a few hours, with detailed, easy to follow, instructions. When I encountered further problems (to be fair, it was my error, not there’s) their response was extremely helpful, the response tailored to my needs. Fairly easy to set up with the instructions. We use it to pet-watch when we’re out. Good quality image & easy to control via smartphone app. Night vision good too. The zoom is just enlarging the smartphone image, not true optical zoom. Overall great product for a great price.
I saw someone else’s review who posted a view and my first reaction was ‘cool’. I’m new to these things and i have not regretted it. I’m leaving more about each time I use it and having fun. The more fun you have playing with it, the more confident you become in using it. I have just discovered you can get the camera to track movement around a room.
Out of the box, it is very easy to set up. It sends your phone alerts if it detects anything and is very very sensitive in that regard. I think it has more photos of me than it would anything else.
For the money, I wouldn’t have paid more for anything else and it gives you that peace of mind, you can keep an eye on things if you need to.

This camera is amazing and good quality, I’ve found not only is the product brilliant, but the customer service is outstanding, my camera b broke and I used the customer service help live chat on the app and Miya helped me with a replacement very quickly, this company values its customers, I’m to receive my camera in a few days, very very happy would highly reccomend!
The quality of product application and result are excellent. Set up is relatively easy. Had a problem with adding additional mobile phone to the system but the on line chat support with advisor ‘Fancy’ was quick, easy and extremely helpful .
I am almost 80 and my husband has dementia. It’s in the early stages, but I don’t like to go out and leave him unattended. This means unless he comes with me, which isn’t always possible, I am a virtual prisoner. I love swimming and want to resume going back. He says he is fine with that, but I am still reluctant. Decided to get this camera for my sister as she works night shifts and likes to keep an eye on the house and the dog. The camera was easy to set up through the app and connected to the phone straight away. The camera quality is great, at time when you’re out and voice control or moving it it can be a little bit laggy but does work just takes a few seconds to catch up. The voice control does work and the dog has reacted to hearing our voices when she’s been in the house. The night vision also works really well, the image is clear and recognisable. The camera can rotate 360 degrees so I can check round the room to see where the dog is. It’s a very clear and noticeable camera when placed in the room so that may act as a deterrent if you had an unwanted visitor in your home. There is an option to put in an SD card but I haven’t done that yet a I don’t feel it’s necessary. Overall a great product and very happy with it. I would recommend to other if it was for the same purpose.
Got this to monitor my dog when I am out and make sure she is ok. I hate leaving my dog at home because she has separation anxiety; however now using this camera monitor to view on my phone when I am out puts an ease to my mind and am very happy with this product.

This is a great little security camera producing clear coloured daylight images and good quality night images in black-and-white images.
The camera comes with a USB A to Micro USB cable and a UK 3 pin plug. There is also a wall mounting bracket, screws and plugs if required.
It was super easy to set up. I just scanned the QR code in the instructions, with my iPhone, in order to download the free app.
The app, then guided me through the setup, which just took a few steps and included putting in my Wi-Fi home password. Within less than a couple of minutes, the camera was fully operational with the images clearly available on my iPhone.
The camera can be rotated through 360 and also can pan up to the ceiling and down to the floor. It has excellent movement detection and this can be received as a notification on your iPhone that movement has been seen.
I am using this camera to keep an eye on my cat when we are at work. She usually sleeps in the same place and I can make sure she is looking well and following her normal routine.
This camera would also be ideal for keeping an eye on a baby or toddler whilst they are sleeping.

It can be used in combination with your Alexa or Google Assistant.
It has a two-way microphone so that you can speak to the person or animal within the room. There is a delay when using the microphone of about a second when you press the button to activate it. When your microphone is activated it immediately mutes the camera mic. Conversations are therefore difficult like on a two way radio. It would be good enough to give a simple instruction to a person or pet.
It has a storage card slot, which takes a micro SD card up to 128 GB.
It can be used without the SD card to view images in real time.
The use of the App is free, and there is 24/7 customer support via a chat feature.
I am very impressed with the quality of the images. The fact that it automatically changes from a daylight coloured image to a night vision black and-white image, as it senses the different amount of light available in the room, is very practical.

Very affordable pet camera with all the must have features packed into it. Unfortunately, the camera is not battery powered and it must be plugged in all the time but other than this I have not found anything else what it would put me off to buy this pet monitor again. Please be aware that this camera is only suitable for indoor use, doesn’t have ani IP or IPX rating.
Package contains the camera, a wall plug, power cord, wall mount base and screws. To be honest I have not used the wall mount at all, I just put the camera on the fireplace so I can see the entire living room from there.
To get out the most if this camera, you need to download an app on your mobile, available for both Android and iOS phones. Just use the QR located inside the User manual, scan it and will take you to the app store. This app will open a tone of features like:
1.Real-time Monitoring: remotely monitor your property/pet/baby, watch a live view of your home
2.Instant Alerts: the app pushes alarms such as abnormal motion detection or sound detection to your mobile phone.

You don’t necessarily need the pai the cloud service as the camera is features with a micro-SD card slot and is compatible with any Micro SD card with up to 128G storage capacity.
You can link this camera with Google home assistance or with your Alexa, which is superb added extra for this camera. If you have the Amazon echo show it can be used for live stream the picture of this camera and you can watch your baby even if you are in another room.
To be honest I still can’t believe this camera is only 24.99 (at the time I’ve wrote this review), it’s too good to be true. Highly recommend, it’s a very little investment to keeping your eyes on your pet.

Have been using for a couple of months now and had no issues until we had a power cut and it would not comeback online. Contacted customer service online chat and Yuki had me up and running in no time. Yuki was very helpful, friendly and didn’t rush me at all which is really refreshing for online chat (not to be cut of and have to start again with another advisor!) Brilliant camera with great support. If your looking for one buy it!!
Decent little camera and a good price point. Paired first time following the supplied instructions, then I reset it and paired again using the Tuya app, to minimise the apps on my phone.
Picture is fine, control is excellent and responsive.
It’s a fine camera, I got this one to observe the sheningans of my cat and him going to places where he is forbidden to go (downstairs), works fine, but I do not love using external apps due to the data concern. 4/5
After trying this out, I must say I’m impressed. It works so well, camera picture quality is great, night mode surprised me because I could see my face clearly through the camera in the dark.
You’ll need to download an app and connect to wifi, all guidance is on the manual.
The motion detection works as it should, I get notifications of motion detected on my phone while it’s in use.
It’s also got a motion sensor that detects and follows the direction of movement.
All these features can be controlled, turned on or off depending on your preferences.
There’s also the option for audio where you can speak through your phone and sound comes through the camera, and video recording as well.
It’s able to use an SD card to save videos which doesn’t come with the package.
It’s powered by electricity as it comes with a plug and a manual with instructions.

This is a great little security camera , I would have given it 5* however I did have to ask for assistance setting it up, as apparently you need your router network to be 2.4GHz for Initiation.

The actual camera is really compact and does come with Mounting accessories should you choose to fix your camera to one area, in my case not necessary as I want to use it in different rooms.
Once I had ascertained I had the correct Wi-Fi settings it was really easy to set up, took only a few minutes
I had already downloaded the app before sorting the Wi-Fi out ,the app is called littlelf smart and is free app.
I was also able to link my Amazon Alexa with no problem.
You can use a microSD card , that is not included in with the Owltron but I will be ordering one so I can save any videos if I should choose to, rather than pay a subscription.
So set up time to play what a fun thing this is , it’s super sensitive to motion when you are in the house plus the camera can be moved remotely , so great fun if you want to chat to family or even pets at home you can follow them around the room using the black circle in photo five and chat to them via the microphone.
I have also just found an alarm that can be set off remotely , which would certainly get your families attention if they were in another room away from the camera , or should you see something suspicious you could set the alarm off . Really glad I have this camera and will be looking for an outside one to link up to this one , especially if they keep the cost as reasonably as this one.

This is a great camera for keeping an eye on your house. It doubles as a security camera or a baby/pet monitor. Nice and easy to set up it has the added bonus of pan and tilt so you can get the perfect angle which I struggle with on my Blink fixed device. You can arm and disarm it easily and record to SD card to avid cloud fees. Its quite a cute eyeball-looking device and the app works well depending on your Wi-Fi coverage obviously but it does offer decent basic security and monitoring (with two way chat) for a good price.
When I saw this camera was up for review, I thought it would be ideal to keep an eye on the pets and children in the house, while I am not there to keep a close eye on them. Here’s what I thought of it.
Straight out of the box the camera is smaller than expected but perfect for indoor use as it is discreet and can easily blend in with the surroundings — no one likes to feel like they are under surveillance. So, the discreetness of this camera is a real plus.
To take advantage of all the features, view the footage and receive alerts, you’ll need to download the app. This is straightforward; however, you’ll need to add some registration details which include some personal information such as email address, etc. It might be worth having a separate dedicated email address for these occasions.
The most important feature for me, when it comes to cameras, is the picture quality. I am not too fussed about all the bells and whistles. However, for the price point, I wasn’t expecting much. Happily, I was pleasantly surprised as the picture quality is very good for the daytime and more than acceptable during the night.
The two-way real talk feature is great for chatting with your children but is also good if you want to calm your pets — obviously, they’re not going to be able to talk back, but you can calm an anxious pet with your voice.
If you need any further cameras, you can easily add them all under one account, which is great if you want cameras running on the same system across multiple rooms.
Overall, a very good value camera. 100% recommended.

Cameras like these are fairly common these days and there’s a baffling selection most places you look, usually all coming with their own proprietary app to download and this one is no different in that respect. The app they’ve elected to use is little elf and after using it for a while it seems to be fairly well designed, user friendly menus and options and the overall picture quality is very respectable on a phone screen. The daylight video is very crisp and clear and when it switches to night vision it’s still not bad, a little lower quality and quite a short range but since this is an indoor camera it shouldn’t be much of an issue in most cases. I tried the motion detection and tracking in a few different situations and for the most part it worked pretty well, the motion detection for a person walking past was almost instant coming up on my phone and for the cat it wasn’t far behind being a couple of seconds later.
Setting up the camera using the app was pretty straightforward even including a little ruler for the right distance to scan the QR code which I didn’t need but it’s handy to have it if you struggle to hit that sweet spot. Once it connects to the app and your WiFi there’s plenty of options to choose from including renaming, turning on and off the motion tracking/detection and setting up specific ‘patrol’ zones where it pans and scans set areas, quite a useful feature if it’s covering a wide area. One thing I did notice was in the instructions it states your WiFi password must not contain special characters but I tried using mine anyway which does contain them to test it and it connected anyway, something to consider before you change your password to something less secure. Power is supplied by a packaged micro USB cable and plug or any other micro USB supply you have including power banks if a plug socket isn’t within range.
As with most cameras of this type you have the option of fitting a microSD card for onboard recording or subscription to an online storage facility, the bonus with this camera is the motion detection isn’t dependant on a subscription service so you don’t really need it if you want the function to work unlike a lot of others.
This little camera would work perfectly as a baby/pet monitor and to an extent as a security camera for monitoring inside your home/outbuilding. As an entry level pan and tilt camera there’s little to fault this on, it even works reasonably well with Alexa enabled devices, allowing you to monitor it easily from Echo Shows with a quick voice prompt once set up in the app.
I had a few indoor cameras and I would say that this is one of the high-quality pictures I got whether day or night vision. Making sure I am able to watch my family, especially my two boys not miss any of their child developments or record moments even I’m at work. It is easy to install both the device and app. It could be connected to cloud storage but I prefer putting an SD Card in it. I love the 360 degrees feature where I could rotate it whenever I would like to check the other places in the house. I am fond of the two-way audio talk where I could talk to my wife and kids whenever I want to. I highly recommend the product, just seeing the durability side of this product.

Ordered this as we currently use a static camera to check in on the dog but this one means we can see her regardless of where she is in the room.
Was quick and easy to set up using the app. It like most smart devices needs the router to be split to 2.4g, which is fine as we have so many smart devices we keep the router permanently split though you can split it purely to install then put it back to normal.
The picture is clear and the app is responsive when moving the camera around – no long buffering delays. For the price it’s perfect for keeping an eye on your house while you’re out.

This is a cute little camera that doesn’t look cheap. It stands securely on a surface like a shelf or cupboard top, and can also be wall or ceiling mounted with the included screws.
It’s easy to set up and there’s a free app that enables you to view the footage from your phone. You also get 30 days of free cloud storage, but after that you need to pay or use a microSD card if you want to keep footage.
The camera has reasonably good image quality and also has a few useful features such as the ability to broadcast your voice into the home via the app. For the price, this offers everything you’d expect and a little more.
This is a cracking little compact security camera that is Multifunctional and can be used for different reasons and in different locations easily , it’s portable , lightweight, compact and is easy to set up and get up and running in no time.
The picture quality and 360 camera angle coverage with tilt and the bookmark feature for different zones and the fact you can change the motion detection sensitivity is excellent and gives it more flexibility to suit your needs.
You could use this as a surveillance camera, pet camera, baby monitor or just to keep an eye on a certain area or room when you are out, you can check or see notifications on your phone and it has an alarm feature, it’s a good quality little HD camera for the price , at 32 I think it’s a good value camera.
It’s sleek, looks modern , it reminds me of an eyeball a bit but it’s your eye when you are out and does a great job of watching over any room.
The night vision is also impressive and the footage and images are pretty clear , you could use this in a workshop, garage or shed to also keep an eye on a small building , conservatory or other small building it’s so easy to place and set up , it’s a good little indoor security camera.
I’ve not tried it with an alexa or other device but that’s also an excellent feature to have , I like the look of it too , small and compact.
I use these to keep an eye on my dog when I am out. It’s so reassuring to know she is safe and I also like to check her at night as sometimes she cries and I think she needs the garden but she is in fact just dreaming which means I can go back to sleep as well. Excellent if you have babies or small children and want to check them in the night.
They are great for pointing out the front & back of your house as a security camera and the night vision is exceptional for such a small price.
