When can i sow grass seed?

For best results spring and autumn are ideal. Grass seed can be used in summer also providing it is kept well watered.

How much seed do i need?

2kg packs will cover 30-100m². 5kg packs cover 70-200m². (the lower range is for new lawns, middle for overseeding, upper for patch repairs).

What is the application rate?

20-50 grams per square meter overseeding. 50-70 grams per square meter new lawns.

Can i store unused grass seeds?

Yes – grass seed can be stored in dry conditions for several seasons. Each year it will use a small percentage of it’s germination rate but many customers keep some seed back in storage for any repairs in the season or next season.

    Planted the seed back in February and it has now grown very strong. Mowed it three times already. Good value seed. Highly recommended.
