Why does it automatically disconnect when playing?

There are several cases of disconnection:

1. Too far beyond the distance.

2. The battery is low and will shut down.

3. There is a strong interference source (You need to keep a distance from the 2.4G wireless signal and WiFi router if you are using it at home).

4. There should be no metal barrier between the mobile phone and the product (for example the 3.5mm port of some cars is in the glove box or the cover in the hand box will have a certain impact).

Why can not it connect automatically?

1. Please make sure it has been connected before.

2. Please make sure the bluetooth is turned on before the bluetooth receiver

3. Please make sure you are within a valid distance

Works Great with my PA speaker. However, note that it may not work properly with a simple headphone jack adapter. I had to use a 1/4 male jack to RCA cable. Then RCA to 3.5mm female adapter. This may not be the case for everyone. However, if you intend to use with a PA speaker with 1/4 inch inputs, you may run into this. Other than that, it works really good!

Volume is too low. As a result you have to turn the radio volume all the up. If you switch from Aux to something else, like FM, the sound will blow your speakers and eardrums. Other than that, connection is reliable. When you hold the button to connect to bluetooth device, it connects quickly.

I didn’t want to have any extra cables in my car. The device itself is very small so it is not noticeable in the car. It pairs in less than 2 seconds to your phone once you turn it on, which is useful when you are in a rush. It turns off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity so you don’t have to worry about the battery dying. The audio quality is great. There is no noticeable difference in using this vs an aux cord. This defiantly feels like a premium product, Would highly recommend it.

I works great for phone calls. Clearer sound on both sides. I keep it plugged in all the time, because the battery dies quickly.

If the receiver is not accessible (center console) then it is a pain to turn on. I need to open the console and hold a button for 3 seconds every time I get in the car. It would be wonderful if it powered on when power is present.

It works pretty good, and from what I can tell it doesn’t have a huge loss of sound quality. I would imagine most folks using this have a unique situation like mine, where your using a very outdated car audio system or there isn’t a way to do Bluetooth audio at all. That being said the main options is something like this or a FM transmitter, which I have found often requires one to sacrifice sound quality for convenience.

Pros: connects/works pretty good most of the time, the ‘flip’ design is genius and way less clunky compared to others.

Cons: Turning the product on can be finicky at times resulting in no connection, also stays connected to your phone if you don’t turn it off. (Turning it off is kind of a hassle.) I wish it had a straight power button or better disconnect feature. I find both of these super annoying actually and almost makes this 3 stars but not quite

Keep in mind: this will work most of the time, but no Bluetooth device will ever sound better than the old school plug in method. If sound quality is your biggest priority an AUX cord is the way to go. The included USB cord is pretty short so you will likely need a longer one

I got tired of cables so this really did the trick. If you take your phone with you when you leave the car to go shopping, it will obviously disconnect. You may have to manually reconnect to this receiver when you return to your car.

Based on how it most likely would be sitting (USB C down) in most car layouts I have seen that the Volume up and next track button should be at the top by the AUX plug and the volume down and previous track at the USBC end. Otherwise it worked great.

Everything works as intended, stable connection with the phone. Very versatile: I’ve used it in the car and attached to a headphone amp for testing purposes. Good for audio quality – clearly inferior to a good DAC when listening on headphones, but it is intended for a much less demanding environment.

So far this one is great connects easily and works really good what I like most though is how sturdy it is you dont feel like its going to snap in your hand plus you can bend it either up or down so its not sticking out like a sore thumb lol
All in all would defo recommend

Easy to use plug and play bluetooth technology. The only annoying thing is that you have to re-sync with you devise everytime, it doesn’t just conect again when powered which is a bit annoying.
My input is in the center console – with the lid clsoed there is no issue with connectivity as suggested in the description, it works fine. Soudn quality good for the money its a decent product.

Very happy with this product, I’ve had it a couple weeks now, I believe. Battery life has been great, I’ve charged it once. Absolutely love the foldable plug to make it low profile, my aux is up next to my radio, and I really didn’t like any other Bluetooth transmitters on here because they would have stuck out, this one folds down and just looks nice, doesn’t stick out or draw attention, nice simple design. Turn it on and it connects like any other Bluetooth device, just pick the device name and connect. It does include instructions so you can learn how to turn on/off ect. Don’t really use the volume controls, but they did work when I tested it, it just controlled my phone volume. No buzz, or feedback. Love this thing since new phones don’t have aux jacks, I needed an alternative and honestly wish I had been using one of these longer, aux cords seem to always end up giving feedback issues at some point. If I ever need to replace, or if I need another one for any reason I hope these are still around, because this was the only design out of all the ones I searched through on Amazon that had a nice design you can fold flat against your dash. There is also the ones that plug into a cigarette lighter and transit through a radio channel, and my recommendation, if you have an aux jack in your car, don’t bother with those, I’ve never used one, but I would posit, those would have more feedback issues than simply using your aux channel. Price was fair as well, super satisfied, would recommend.

When I got this the delivery was very quick and it came in a nicely packaged box.
It is fast charging and once charged it lasts hours or alternatively you can charge while it’s in use which comes in very handy for me as I forget to charge things till last minute and usually by then it doesn’t have much time to charge, so I’m over moon with that.
Since setting up in my car, life as become so much easier using hands free, as I do seem to get alot of calls while driving to work and when I’m not it’s fabulous for listening to my music.
The size of this Bluetooth receiver is small so it doesn’t take much room up either or get in the way.
I am overly happy with this product and it is well worth the money at 13.99.
I don’t have any issues at all. Highly recommend.

This is a great little bluetooth receiver.
The fact that its small means its not getting in the way or looking crazily out of place.
I really like how the jack can swivel, which helps to hide it out the way visually, but also to prevent it getting knocked or damaged.

This Bluetooth audio transceiver HVMLAK has many excellent features:

    – Bluetooth 5.3
    – 3.5mm tri-pole jack that rotates through 180-degrees
    – Metal body
    – High capacity battery (180mAh)
    – Track back/forward buttons
    – USB-C charging

Having Bluetooth 5.3 allows you to take advantage of the Hi-Fi audio improvements in 5.2 and the quality enhancements in 5.3 (providing your source device is also capable of 5.3).

Compared with similar devices this transceiver is a little heavier (due to the larger battery), and this may be relevant if you are using it to make a pair of headphones wireless.

The price is extremely reasonable for the above feature set. Highly recommended.

A cheap way to bring upgrade old audio tech, whether in the car or at home. This will plug into the 3.5mm audio socket of a car radio or a hi-fi aamp and immiediately makeit a Bluetooth receiver with no fuss. I like my old-school hi-fi separates, so this was a quick and simple way to play the tunes on my phone streaming system on the big system, and if you don’t want to change your car’s system but want to stream from a device, it’s just the same process. It folds 90 degrees neatly to be flat against the input surface, and the battery lasts ages, though in terms of the hi-fi it’s simple enough to set upso it’s being charged permanently.

This neat little bluetooth aux receiver has solved my in-car audio problem and it is so easy to use. My car audio system is old and until now I have had to connect my phone using a cable, which means I haven’t been able to charge my phone at the same time. This device plugs into the aux socket on the car and connects to the phone by bluetooth, which means I can charge the phone at the same time using the socket on the phone plugged into the car cigarette lighter socket. The device was an absolute doddle to set up. I charged it up with the USB lead supplied, then my phone recognised it and connected without me having to do anything else. The device has volume control buttons on it, as well as an on/off switch. For just under 17 I think this is very good value.

This midget device adds a Bluetooth wireless connection to an older car’s audio or a HiFi system. This then allows a connection to the internet for streaming audio of music or podcasts, via a smartphone or tablet.
I like the neat design which uses a 3.5mm jack to plug into a “music port”, AUX or microphone input socket to deliver audio to a car stereo or HiFi system or amplifier. It’s small enough to leave inserted permanently without getting in the way of other controls.
Charging is done from a standard 5V/1A phone charger and the unit has the latest uni-directional USB-C socket for the included 50cm cable.
Pairing with a phone is easy because the unit has the latest Bluetooth version 5.3 – this makes for longer range (up to 20m) and faster pairing. Just three buttons are needed to control audio volume and track play/selection. Calls can be answered or rejected and a built-in microphone allows me to answer a mobile call with voice played through the stereo. Power is automatically turned off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Once paired the unit automatically reconnects next time it’s turned on if the paired phone is in range.
Full charging takes about 2-hours for around 12 hours of play, which is impressive because the battery must be tiny.
For a penny under 17 this little device provides a superior digital audio source to older vehicles and stereos for not much money. Definitely recommended.

I’m so pleased with this. I mostly love its size and reliability. My car has Bluetooth but it’s a Ford so often let’s me down so until this came along I was using a plug into the cig lighter and broadcast it over a radio frequency. This is so much better. It beats it hands down.
This is battery powered. But the battery has been lasting me at least ten hours.
The connection between this and my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has been flawless. Completely uninterrupted. I use it for streaming music and Audiobooks in my car. And the occasional phone call. Which it picks up perfectly considering its all the way down plugged into the aux port around knee level in the centre console.
The buttons are simple to operate. Centre one does play and pause, and also phone calls. The two arrows can be pressed or held down. Press for volume and hold down to change track or chapter.
I found it worked well on Maps as well. The navigation was given out loud over the car speakers.
I could also use Okay Google work thout pressing anything. My phone Mike still picked up the Okay Google voice command and Google spoke back over the speakers. It was the same with Alex on Amazon Music. So complete compatibility.
The unit itself is very well made. It feels like a quality item as the buttons are durable and feel good to the touch and the casing is entirely a hard alloy metal. It’s very well made and looks super smart. I’m really pleased to have this.

Reliable. Compatible with voice commands. Flawless connectivity. 10+ hour battery life

This HVMLAK BTR009 wireless adapter is supplied with a USB to USB C charge cable and instructions. It may be used to add Bluetooth reception to any domestic or vehicle audio system with a 3.5mm audio input socket. Mine is destined to be used in our family ‘bus’ but I have been trying it out with my Marantz mini system, which is old enough that it does not have Bluetooth built in. The latter is useful because I use it a lot and am familiar with how it can/should sound and because it is good enough to show up and failings in either dynamic range or soundstage. The good news is that this Bluetooth receiver sounds great. I already have one of these type of adapters for my Marantz system but this one uses the Bluetooth 5.3 codec version, which is more recent that the former’s 5.2 version and therefore it should in theory sound better. Indeed this has proven to be the case. Ideally, one wants such devices to be fairly neutral in the signal path. That is, to take the Bluetooth input and output the same signal or as near as possible. This HVMLAK device does its job well and it is more or less neutral. I have run through a good range of test tracks and it works well with all the genres I tried. There is deep bass were it occurs, detailed mid-range and sweet treble. I review a fair few audio devices, headphones and speakers and I would definitely say this is a good one. One thing to note is that these devices often output at a lower volume (gain) than other inputs and it is therefore necessary to increase the audio devices ‘master’ volume to compensate. This can cause slight issues because one must remember to turn the volume back down after use or next time you use a different input is may come through way too loud and could even potentially damage your speakers. This is true for the majority of these devices and so it is just something to note in general.

This device is versatile and easy to live with. It is simple to charge provided you have the necessary USB charge plug or a PC with USB sockets. It has a long runtime before it needs recharging and does everything you could expect such a reasonably priced device to do. It captures and preserves the inherent dynamics of a musical track and reproduces it in a very pleasing way. Perhaps it is a tad too polite and one might wish for a little more excitement but that is hardly a big issue. Better it sounds smoother, than distorted and rough around the edges. Range is a fairly typical 5-10m depending on line of sight and obstacle such as doors or walls. The latter is never going to be an issue if this device is used in an average sized family vehicle.

I would definitely recommend this Bluetooth receiver adapter. It is really well put together, looks good and above all I hope you like as much as I do.

This works perfectly, there’s minimal delay between my phone and the receiver and the audio quality seems spot on. I just wish there was a way to have this turn on automatically when the car turns on as it gets annoying having to turn it on manually each time I get in the car. The hinged aux jack is a nice feature as it means it can fold away neatly when plugged in to stop it getting damaged.

For 19.99 I think it’s reasonable value for money, especially as it has multiple uses and not just for in the car.

This Bluetooth dongle works well in the car if you have an old one and want to play music from your phone through your car stereo but I wish it had just a little more versatility and could allow Bluetooth headphones to connect to it so you could put it in your iPod then have wireless headphones but I couldn’t get that work, nor in my Xbox controller.
The device is a nice size and well made with the modern universal USB-C port on the bottom to charge it with the supplied cable. You can adjust the headphone jack to 90 degrees either way so handy if you want to keep it discreet and out of the way.
Music quality was good, and it worked well for a range of about 15-20m then I started to get a couple of Bluetooth drop outs.
Overall, for 19.99 It does its main features well and is small and portable, just wish it had a little more to stand out from other similar ones that are slightly cheaper.

does the job for old tech with no Bluetooth connectivity

This is a good solution to be able to link your phone up to old stereos and speakers to be able to play music.

It’s pretty much plug and play and once connected to an aux port and switched on, you’re able to pick up the signal on your phone by finding and connecting to it in the list of Bluetooth devices.

There’s a volume button on the device itself so it can be controlled from there if required.

It has a 12 hour battery life from a 2.5 hour charge, so you may need to charge it quite often if used regularly.

So far, the sound has been clear and I’ve experienced no drops in signal.

All in all, it’s a handy device that does the job as expected.

I hope you found this review helpful.
