Great price for this camera which I found was so easy to set up and easy to use. Good night light which detects movement and also lights my room up when I walk in. Impressed with the picture quality and playback. Definitely recommended

I got this for my father for Christmas as security reassurance for his home. However, He decided to set it up inside the house to monitor his cats! He is in his late 70s and set it up and installed it by himself. He watches them from other rooms and when away from home. The quality outweighs expectations. Highly recommend
WOW took this ieGeek camera out of its very well package box . I was up & running within 2 hours including fixing the camera to my outside wall & running the lead through the window frame to an inside plug. The pictures that came to my phone are super clear day & night. The joy of being able to turn it around via the phone app just works, its great, massive thankyou to ieGeek very happy customer.
Bought to cover my motorbike as large lorries try to fit down my road. Sometimes i have to park further away so i needed it easy to move.
The mounting was really simple one screw then hook on. The cable was not super long but ok for what i needed other people might need an extension usb lead.
It is mounted 2 floors up looking at the road and will capture signage on vehicles but will not do number plates for number plates it would need at least 4k with a higher frame rate and an optical zoom but for 40 this is perfect. Recently captured a crane on a lorry destroying the side of my neighbours car and driving off but the signage was visible and the company covered it.
Its ideal for making claims where they cant ID the vehicle that hits you because you can still claim using the footage without the footage you would be left with a broken car.
The audio is ideal as this helps in proving things as you can often hear the crunch as your car is hit.
The only negative is the usb plug. you will need to punch a wide hole in your wall to get it through. lucky for me i have a vent about my window so just went through tha

Very impressed with this camera it’s protecting my property and to be able to use it remotely is key for me it’s alot of technology for the money there’s alot of makes and models on the market but I’m glad I chose this make full of features picture quality is amazing 2k images.
Amazing camera best thing is that the camera will track the motion of someone walks into the area selected ( walking around your garden) colour at night is great to makes it a lot easier to identify who it is on the camera! Will defo be buying more

Easy to set up and use. We’ve had other cameras for this price but found they were a bit tempremental when trying to look when away from home. This one is fine. We live on a boat so wifi is a bit in and out but this camera connects with no problem. The fact it records onto a memory card is great for us
This camera is superb value for money – picture quality is excellent. NOTE – TO RECORD VIDEO YOU WILL NEED TO ALSOTO PURCHASE AN SD CARD. I’m so impressed with it I have purchased an additional camera for the rear our property. An incredible camera for the money. Easy to set up and all the features of a more expensive camera. I had a problem with the light coming on at night, customer support was excellent giving advice and the problem was sorted immediately.
For my set up, the cable wasn’t long enough as you need to have a socket nearby but this is easily sorted with an extended USB male to female .
The camera installation was very simple on the roof of my garage. I used a usb c extender cable to reach the sockets at the other side of the garage. Setup was simple and quick and connected to my phone and wifi first time.
Picture quality is really good and covers my whole large garden. The motion tracking feature is very nice to have and I also added a year worth of cloud storage through the app which saved me using the sd card slot.
Very happy with my purchase and would definitely by this brand again.

Needed this camera for outdoors to keep an eye on my back yard. It follows people around and has great night vision. Very easy to setup and so far working a treat for me. Excellent!!!
Great value for a 2k resolution camera, can easily see car number plates which you would not see with a 1080p resolution, had to drill out a hole for USB plug to be thread through. Auto tracking works well just tracking people rather than anything that moves. Ony downside is it only supports 2.4ghz wifi and not 5ghz so sometimes when connecting camera using app can be a bit slow.
The picture quality and installation has been very easy, looking forward to getting it up outside. The lead is a good length, bought a different plug to allow for use in an outsode socket.

The camera are fantastic, great at picking up motion outside, it’s not going off every time the dogs etc are out which is a plus, amazing picture.
I did have a problem with the second camera and when I contacted ieGeek to say I had did everything as advised they sent me out a new one, great after service will highly recommend.
Really easy to install and set up. The new ieGeek app is a breeze to use and a significant improvement on the CamHi app that I had to use with my older ieGeek cameras. If I had one minor criticism, it would be the length of the power cable but usb extension leads are widely available and fairly cheap.
I’m very happy with this camera. Does the job just fine and works with an SD card, no need for subscription. It was easy to set up and the app has many features. Also this was my first camera and I was worried it’d be complicated to set up and use but it really couldn’t be more simple. The only downside I’d say is the length of the cable (2-3m long) but I hear other cameras in the market also have similar lengths of cable.
Love this camera, it is so easy to set up and use. Perfect clear images and video as soon as it is connected, both day and night. Love the light and alarm feature on it, and the 2 way communication is great for when your not at home and need to speak to a delivery driver. It sends clear notifications direct to the app, letting you know if it was a noise or person detected, and the following of the camera works really well. All in all really impressed with it for the money, so impressed we’ve purchased a second to cover the rear of the house as well. I would definitely recommend.
– The setup is straightforward, just follow the instructions and the app takes you through the rest.
– I much prefer the single cable of a USB powered camera. The external camera used a 16mm drill bit to feed the cable through.
– The motion tracking is really good. After a few seconds of inactivity the camera resets to the position you set as its default.
– Night vision is excellent. The spotlight has already proved a good deterrent by lighting up one of the local hoodies trying to tamper with the doorbell in the middle of the night, sending him scurrying off.
– The app is decent, allowing you to access multiple cameras through one dashboard. The only thing I don’t like is the scrolling timeline in the History tab. If you change the zoom it always resets to midnight on the selected day, which is just a bit irritating.
– The instructions do mention this, but you need your memory card installed before powering on the camera. Caught me out until I read that far into the instructions. I haven’t used the cloud features, preferring to use memory cards instead of ongoing subscription costs.
Overall a great piece of kit. Solidly built, with decent fixings included and everyone appreciates a template to line your drill holes up. Speaking of drill holes, it would have been handy if the instructions told you what size drill bit you need – 6mm if you’re curious.
Excellent camera that works well in a difficult location.
My house is a is a very unusual design which makes it very difficult to get good security camera coverage. This camera is located to cover a large section of my back garden and is performing very well, picking up and recording any movement.
The B and W night vision and the colour night vision are both excellent and impressive for a camera in this price bracket. The App works well although I am still finding my way around it, pleased to say notifications come through quickly allowing any activity to be reviewed within a few seconds.
Overall an excellent camera and I would certainly consider other products from this manufacturer.
Wow what a bargain, so easy to set up over wifi rather then plugging into modem, decent length of usb lead, the picture quality is good as is the movement sensor the change from infra red to colour at night is quick and smooth, handy that I can watch on my Amazon devices around the house, very pleased with the purchase.
I was a bit skeptical about this camera as it was only 39.99, but pleasantly surprised on the quality of the recorded images. Although you have to install a micro SD card for image storage, so also factor in that cost 128gb around 12.
Overall easy to install and straightforward to set up, I will certainly be purchasing more of these for multi angle views around the house and garden.

Bought one, bought two and now have my fifth, quality is excellent a lot better than my previous hikvision, the quality is crystal clear, plenty of advanced features for us geeks. Placed one in the garage as the kids kept sneaking in there but both smart phones get an alert ! I would highly recommend all times and may buy my sixth camera soo
The quality, functions and abilities of this camera are 5 star, especially for the value! The camera is super easy to install and set-up – no issues at all! It has so many functions through the easy to use app. The motion detection feature is fantastic, which you can even customise to certain areas. The image quality is incredible, even during night vision. I am so happy with the product that I have even made a second order for more cameras! Highly recommend!
Great camera with good quality images even at night.
You can chose full colour at night but the motion sensor is very sensitive which means the spotlight comes on a lot, but if you switch to monochrome it stops this.
Hood imagery and good app, but needs a memory card for best results when looking for images
Bought 2 of the cameras and they were easy to install, brilliant security devices. Giving us peace of mind. Installed SD cards and can now record & store as well. They look great and have had people asking where we acquired them & take great pleasure in telling them and how good the picture & sound is.
This camera is all you need. Easy to install easy to set up and ready to use once you download software. But even that easy.. The zooms not great is it’s only con. But pros lots. Two way radio, night vision, 360, revolution, 4 k, I got it to keep eye on cat as she keeps escaping. Not any longer..
Great little camera at a reasonable price point. It’s doing its job deterring harassment from trespassing, aggressive neighbours (their faces when they clocked the camera – priceless!) while also protecting our fuel shed from thieves. It is set to only start recording if there is movement on a certain area and it is sensitive. At night a large insect will trigger it!
The light also works as a super bright security light at night (movement triggered).

I had a Foscam camera before to monitor the area outside the front door, it was limited in functionality and the software was difficult to use, I had to also pay 9.99 per month to have the recordings saved onto a cloud and the quality of the images were not great.
@ 35 for this ieGeek camera I can’t believe the amount of functionality and the ease of user software. The saving onto an Micro SD eliminates the need to pay for a monthly storage service so I’ve already saved 120 per annum!. Definitely recommend to anyone as it was originally recommended to me. I’m very happy and have disposed of my previous camera which was cumbersome in comparison.
Whilst the camera has a long power lead, I fortunately had a USB extension lead which I needed. I already had a 64GB memory card which I used in the camera.
I found the camera was easy to set up using the ieGeek Cam APP. I had previously purchased an action cam and when using it’s app, the camera was continuously losing connection. I have been using the ieGeek Cam APP over a week now and it works perfectly. I found the App surprisingly easy to use.
I am not expecting the quality of security camera costing hundreds of pounds but this camera works very well especially for this price.
My only minor criticism is that the USB end of the lead is not de-tractable as on my universal power supply. As the camera cable only carry’s power, if it was de-tractable then would be able able to drill a smaller hole through the wall. Fortunately for me I was able to feed the cable through an air vent.
I intend to purchase another one for the back of my house.
Had this camera installed for about a month now and no issues. Was really easy to install and setup. Used the free cloud storage 1 week trial and may use this in the future, but currently just recording to an SD card with continual recording. It highlights any events for easy review, and you can save clips and then just share them to your google photos account or other means rather than needing to remove the SD card to download. Saving clips is a bit fiddly but not too bad. The motion detection is very sensitive when on high, but not sensitive enough on medium. I tried using the feature to mask out an area but this didn’t work very well so I leave it on high and accept it gives a lot of false warnings. Overall very happy and it’s very good for the price.
This is a mains powered device that comes with a 2.5m usb cable attached. This then plugs into a mains charger. The long cable meant that it was ideal for my sitiation where I drilled a hole through a blocked up door way and into a nearby main socket. Set up was really easy. I installed the new ieGeek Cam app and the wifi was picked up without any problem. The three picture quality settings (SD, HD and QHD) are all great but I leave mine on HD. I am using a 32gb micro usb card to record any movement at the rear of my house and the app works really well. As I have it set up, the camera’s security light comes on at night if it detects human movement (I have not used the siren mode as yet in case it disturbs the neighbours). Overall a great security camera at a great price, so will buy another when needed.
Connecting to my wifi did not take long.
Using the app to control the camera is very easy, the app features are self explanatory enabling me to control the direction of the camera even when not ‘at home’.
My only negative is the night recording/vision, the camera was activated around midnight by which I think is a fox. I could make a shape but couldn’t see if the creature was a fox.
The street lights are switched off at 11:30 PM.
The motion detection is set at ‘Low’.
In ‘Customer Mode’ its says the camera will be activated by human motion only.
So not sure why an animal activated the camera.
That written I am not disappointed if the camera is activated at night, I’m happy see what is happening around my property.
During the day the camera records in very good picture quality.
I would recommend the camera, an electrical socket needs to be available close to the camera mounting point.

Bought two each. Have been using this 2-3 weeks. Durable for under Rain without any issue. The wifi reception was good. Motion detection and siren works well. Build qualty is good. Happy overall.

There seems to be a lot of similar cameras for sale on Amazon, so I did a fair bit of comparison before settling on this one. I must say I am happy with my purchase so far. Picture quality is fairly good and its easy to use and understand.
Things I like.
1. Easy initial set-up. (Just make sure you definitely have a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network)
2. App. Easy to use, lots of information.
3. Motion detection and night vision. I have it set-up to record via motion detection and it works really well. Once it grabs something it will track, then return to original position once the event is over.
4. Being able to pan and hear sound through it. Even though the mic isn’t that great. Haven’t tried the feature of speaking through it yet.
Things I don’t like
1. Sometimes when I am paning on a live feed the video will freeze. If you back out it will reset just fine.
2. The cloud storage cost isn’t clear. I didn’t even bother starting the trial I just got a decent SD card.
Overall, I was very prepared for it to not live up to its description, but so far so good.
Really good for price 2 year guarantee. Bought for myself and mother’s easy connection and set up. So far so good. Might have to insert memory card once or twice. Now no problems. Unexpected wildlife caught on camera.
The only slight critism I would say is that it doesn’t seem to get the best wifi signal despite it’s dual antenna. I have this mounted to the back wall of my garage, and this wall is shared with the house (i.e. the other side of the wall is my hallway). The router is placed on the other side of this wall, approximately 2 meters in height difference. During installation one thing it checks is signal strength, and mine came back saying its signal was weak and that it’s not suitable for installation. I moved the camera around a bit to try and get a better signal (to the point where I knew my router was literally just the other side of the wall) but it still didnt really improve any and was still showing as ‘unsuitable’. You can ignore / bypass this though, which I did and it still works absolutely fine. Mine shows a signal strength of about 55%. If I compare this to my iphone, when I’m in the garage I get full stength wifi signal no matter where I am, so I don’t see why this camera struggles so much given it’s using two fairly large arials and my iphone with no visable arial can get a full signal. Despite this signal issue, it still transmits image fine to my phone and I can make adjustments to the camera from my phone and it responds almost instantly, so I have no real complaints and its serving its intented purpose just fine. However, it has made me question as to whether I would bother buying another one for the exterior / front of my property which would be even further from the router. I am using a Sky hub with super fast fibre broadband. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.
This camera is superb for the money. Build quality and performance is way beyond its price point. Easy to set up and picture quality is excellent, even in the dark. Ability to set hot spots for alarm monitoring is great and the application is much better than others I have used. This camera is so good I have just purchased a second unit for the House.
Camera – looks good and feels well built when held in the hand. With the white coloured exterior it is easily visible helping with both deterrence as well as privacy.
Picture quality – The picture quality of this camera is excellent. Very sharp and in-focus videos. Great quality in night mode as well. The intelligent mode enables lights when motion is detected and switches to full colour mode recording.
Pan and Tilt – The PTZ is as advertised, 355deg horizontal, over 90deg vertical. This offers a massive field of view should you need it. Also allows the camera to be installed in the most awkward spots and still be adjusted to get the best view into target area. My only gripe is the PTZ motor could be a little more smooth and responsive to the motion detection feature. Also a useful future developement would be enabling the camera to pan and tilt across a defined path by default unless motion is detected.
Motion detection – The motion detection is very good and you can adjust its sentivity. The humanoid detction is good but could use some further development to improve accuracy. But for the price point, its very good.
Storage – This is one of the best parts, as there is no subscription fee to pay to access the videos. Just pop in a micro SD card and you have your own collection of historical recordings should you ever need it. The camera also automatically deletes oldest files so I dont need to manage it manually. I played with event recording and continous recording, but with the rate of storage used, I will keep it on continous recording as I expect the storage to last well over a month.
App – The app is easy to use and has the most important features. There are some suggestions I have made which have been already acknowledged.
In summary initial thoughts about the camera is that its a great peice of kit for the price its advertised at. Will definitely recommend purely based on the quality of the video feed alone.
This security camera is excellent both for functionality and price , picture quality is really good and the colours are also spot on ..the PTZ is so easy to use , the set up was incredibly easy ,it’s great to keep a watch on our dog to when he goes out at night time ..all in all I’m really very pleased with this purchase ..

The motion detection is very responsive and seems to cut out false alerts as other cameras we have had seem to have had trouble spotting humans and going off with any kind of movement i.e. birds & animals!
Tracking is very good it seems to follow you around within the area set to record.
We did purchase another wifi extender to make sure the wifi was powerful enough for the camera to function fully

Had the camera a while and struggled with the installation details. Anyway a friend had a look and had it set up in half an hour except for the camera tracking movement which gave the information my Wi-Fi signal was too weak. Amazon delivered a Wi-Fi extender the next day and now the camera is working brilliantly. I’ve got full control from my phone, it scans a wide area with a clear picture. The night vision is and I get a good signal should anybody walks into the area. Very pleased.

Recently replaced two Toucan Security cameras with two IeGeek 2K PTZ Security Camera Outdoor – CCTV Camera Systems Wireless Outdoor. what an unbelievable improvement in fact that doesn’t do them credit their in a completely different league. Set up is unbelievably easy and the functionality of the cameras is superb. They come with 2.5mtrs of cable for charging of a supplied mains adaptor. Unlike many of their more expensive contemporaries the IeGeek detects human motion so far less nuisance activations. Two way speakers & you also have the functionality for an audible detection warning. What’s not to like. Highly recommended.
Excellent camera, very easy to set up and value for money
It’s a fairly decent security camera, I have had one issue with it at one point and then for some reason it fixed itself, (Using the ieGeek cam app) in the message section when you click on the video it gives an error message “No recordings on this day” while there is definitely a recorded video, when you click on the images it displays it without an issue but it didn’t work with the video, I searched online for an answer, there was none. A few weeks later it started working again, it had difficulty reading license plates, and for some reason, the focus goes blurry which is a shame.
The image quality is pretty good, not superb, but you can still identify a face in the daytime sometimes even at night.
The motion detection feature is triggered it doesn’t follow the motion as it should. But overall I am happy with it, I have had worse cameras over the years, so this one is definitely a good security camera.
One piece of advice, do not install it on a busy road for you would need a different type of camera with an NVR system instead
Bought this to replace a similar camera that had stopped working. This camera is easy to set up via your smartphone (iphone in my case) and is very easy to use. I fitted a 128gb card and the alerts system captures all movements. I like the way it returns to the “home” position after tracking movement of someone. At the price its s great buy. Highly recommended.

Bought this item thinking it wouldn’t be much for the price, I couldn’t be more wrong, picture quality is great and it’s so easy to set up, it has everything you need to feel secure and give you peace of mind I’d definitely advise to buy this product.
Had this camera for about 4 weeks installed with a 128gb memory card and have had no problems at all. Easy to install with a good length of lead to connect. Clear vision day and night. Had some alarms with rain but generally the human detection works well to stop cats and dogs setting it off. App is very responsive when connecting to view an alarm. Can’t use this with a PC only the app but not a problem.
Very pleased with our purchase. Easy to install and set up the app. Using SD card rather than incurring extra costs with cloud. Picture quality is great and the motion detection messages are received straight away on my phone. Intercom is useful if not at home and night vision is clear.
This is a fantastic camera with great features, sturdy and well built. It was very easy to install and set up on the app. The only thing I needed was a usb extension lead but that would obviously depend on where your mains plug was. The PTZ feature is brilliant, it is so handy to be able to move the camera from the app. The picture quality, night vision and sound quality are great. I read many reviews of different cameras and I am very happy I chose this one as to date it gets 5/5 from me and great value for money.

It was easy to set up but be aware that your router must be on dual frequency (if it has this) as this camera uses 2.4 gh. Not 5gh.
The quality is perfect,the night vision is brilliant ,the price is superb and the customer service is fantastic ,buy it you will be amazed.
This camera is easy to set up and operate using the suggested App. The App itself has plenty of options to turn off alarms for example, use voice through it, select areas of detection, limit to human detection, lights and so on. The camera is sturdy and connects well to the wifi extender in the garage on 2G with the antennas angled at 45 degrees. I previously bought the IE Geek IE20 camera but that had 3 chunky cables coming out the back of the camera which were awkward whereas this has a much simpler and smaller single USB cable for the power like mobile phones. I did need to use a USB extension cable to reach the garage through the loft and avoid an electric socket, but it works fine and is OK for me. No reason to think it will not last (assuming the 3rd party App stays available) so good camera at a good price.
Impressed with the build quality and construction of this camera. Has good amount of weight to it so doesn’t feel like it is going to break when mounting or putting it to use.
Decent amount of features in particular the amount of PTZ and the auto tracking works good. Good quality night vision with the option of full colour with the lights.

Handy wifi cam is easy to set up, good quality pictures and video. It has many extras like detection and audio
I was very impressed by the quality of this camera, it does what it says on the box. Easy to set up, easy to follow instructions, had it up and running in under 30 minutes. I have just purchased another one. One tip, if you don’t have a strong wifi signal where you position the camera, purchase a power line adapter with wifi, this worked with an 85% signal on the shed at the end of my garden.
We bought 1 it wouldn’t work after a while I reset it in my phone it hasn’t worked since that was months ago

Firstly the build quality of the camera is fantastic, very sturdy, well made and sleek design.
All the installation process was very easy, along with the setup of the app, extremely quick and straightforward setup.
Plenty of settings in the app to achieve the desired functions of the camera.
I’d recommend sticking a micro SD in it to record to as cloud storage is only a free trial.
Picture quality I must say is very impressive based on my other WiFi cameras I have. This one is substantially better quality in comparison. True colours outputted . night vision is excellent also.
Being able the move the camera with the PTZ feature is a massive game changer for me. Having this feature is a big plus point for me.
The only negative a can come with up to press is that the usb power cord is short, aprox 2m. So I had to buy a 5metre usb extension cable connected in a junction which works fine for me.
Overall extremely happy with my purchase, great value for your pennies and I would totally recommend this camera. I can’t comment on longevity as of yet but based on my other ieGeek cameras which I have had few years now with no issues. 5 stars from me.
Compared to the old model, this offers much sharper and colour image even in the dark. It uses proprietary CloudEdge storage with 7 days trial.

This camera is so easy to set up and gives good day and night performance, it has an alarm that you can turn on or off that sounds if motion is detected.
It has a microphone and a speaker so you can talk to whoever has been detected.
Great picture quality day or night.

This camera is a great bit of kit ,night vision is very clear overall it is pretty easy to set up with one cable to connect to power and plenty of cable to reach power socket
Will be trying it out in rear garden which will be a great test as a lot of cats use it as a walk way so motion detection will get plenty of use

Noise Detection & Motion Detection works great, noise detection is very sensitive. The Sound and Light Alarm are a great feature being easy to enable from the app on android phone the light is powerful and easily lights up my porch. great value camera.
I was sceptical at this price but what a brilliant camera. Automated and you can actually move this using your phone app.
I have had a few ie geek cameras and now have put a few in for friends. The app is a huge benefit. This camera is the highest quality I have had and for the coin I can’t see you getting better.
Pictures are clear and sharp. The sound is decent. The movement is a huge bonus. The WiFi set up was very quick and easy. This camera is powered and not battery so for my North facing side is perfect! Thinking about investing in a new solar one for the south side.
Totally recommend this camera. I can’t comment on longevity as only had it 2 weeks but all my other ie geek cameras have lasted well. As have my friends. Our climate isn’t the best (Scotland) but they are robust.
I’ve attached some pics which are 2k so amazon may reduce the quality. You get an idea of the camera range movement as well. It covers 180 degrees and around 160 degrees on the vertical. You won’t get better at this price.

want. Connecting to the app is straight forward as long as your internet is 2.4g otherwise it just won’t connect.
I was a bit sceptical about this camera being so cheap, but it has turned out to be great. I’ve had other camras by this manufacturer and would definitely say that their products are good value for money and so far, very reliable.
The picture quality seems fantastic andI look forward to seeing how well it does at night. I really liked the ptz feature as I can see both the drive and turn to look down the side of the house, saving putting a 3rd camera up
A few other things I liked are the addition of a sticky screw template that adhers to the wall for drilling. This was a GREAT help and the camera was up in a matter of minutes. Still need to get something to hold the cable down though (another trip to Amazon no doubt). I also liked that the cable was quite long and slots into a USB adaptor, thought the adaptor did mean drilling a slightly larger hole to be able to fit it through.
So far, very impressed and I have a couple of minor question for their support. These being, is there support for Onvif. This would allow me to look at both my cameras in one place on my pc. Also is there a way to view the camera on a PC .
These are minor queries that don’t detract from a great value camera, but would be good to know. I’ll update if I find out.
