My partner bought this for me as a gift because I had a hit and run so looking forward to using this.
I bought this to use as a rear dashcam as I already have a front one. The image quality is excellent in my opinion, I am easily able to read car number plates.
One thing to note is that you do need to use a fast speed (U3 class 10) memory card otherwise the connection via WiFi to your mobile phone will be very erratic as I discovered when I used an old card I had lying about.
I would definitely recommend this dashcam.
Great little car cam, and I purchased it for only 30! It’s small (pictured next to a one pound coin for scale), sitting behind the rear view mirror very nicely. It also has no annoying, too-small-anyway viewing screen, and it syncs up to your mobile very easily. It comes very smartly packaged, and with an extra set of windscreen stickers too for future use etc. Whilst the app is basic enough it does the job. Very pleased with the value of this and fully recommend.
Actually quite impressed with this. It’s not high end but will record and download onto your phone easily. Simple and easy to use. Camera quality is good for the money paid. I could happily recommend this if your after a budget dash cam that works.

Camera is alright, really discreet and takes little space on front widescreen.

Great cam for the money
Bought this as a rear-facing camera. No screen and compact size are ideal. Easy to install, the “OKCAR” app works fine however it takes a few attempts to connect to the camera. The picture quality seems very good. Will check the video out later especially the nighttime video. So far I am happy with the purchase.
Got it as a back dash cam not a front one. It it’s extremely easy to set, I don’t need to operate it as it’s WiFi so easy to get all the recordings if required. Frames and quality is definitely good enough to see reg numbers, even faces to be honest. Good cheap camera that will definitely help if required. Good buy
The camera looks somewhat well made and when it was placed in the car, I couldn’t see it behind the mirror. For me this was perfect, I wanted to install it and forget about it. I downloaded the app and looked at the footage which I was more than happy with during both the day and evening. The image quality isn’t outstanding but it is more than good enough to be useful in accidents.
The app is where all the customisation is done and it simply connects through wifi. Once connected you can play around with the G-sensor level and turn on and off park monitoring. I bumped the G-sensor down too low as it was going into emergency recording mode every time I hit a bump.
There is voice feedback so when you turn on your car the dash cam will say ‘recording start’ and then ‘recording stop’ when you turn it off. This can be turned off if you like but as there is no screen, it is the only way to know if you are recording or not.
In conclusion despite its average image quality and features, I can’t deny for the asking price it is an easy-to-use dash cam. The setup is quick and within minutes you can begin recording. If you are after a very basic camera that won’t break the bank, this is a great option.

The video quality is really good, the cam turns on automatically when the car starts and turns off when the car is turned off depending on individual setting. I love this vam
I bought this dash cam and compared it to many others, this is the best value for money HD dash cam on the market. I love it! It’s easy to connect to your phone, with the wifi, good quality and 30hz. Would definitely recommend buying this dash cash, Love the 180 feature too! Lets me record inside the car for fun too!
The picture of the driving recorder is clear.This quality is very good at this price.It is easy to operate.You can view videos on your mobile phone.You can see clearly beside the wide-angle lens.Very good!
So wanted a cheap dash cam. Found this for under 40 for 1080p thought I would give it a go.
It comes well packaged in a decent looking box and what you get in the pack for a basic dash cam is really quite impressive not only do you get the camera and the power cable you also get a tool for prying the trim in the vehicle to tuck the cable for dash cam in, some adhesive clips for cable management and two small plastic screens to stick on the windscreen before you stick the dash cam mount on therefore making it much easier to take off when you don’t want it anymore without leaving any nasty residue. The fact that you get two of these and two dash cam mounts means that you can swap this between two different vehicles by simply pushing the dash cam to the side into the unlock position take it out take the power cable out jumping your other car lock it to the second mount and away you go I think this is a very very good idea and I think it works very well it’s still mount very securely to the windscreen and gives a good field of view.
The fact that this dash cam comes without a screen means it takes up less real estate on your windscreen and is far less obtrusive.
The app is eating to connect to the dash cam over Wi-Fi and seems to work pretty much seamlessly also the Voice instructions from the dash cam get very annoying but you can turn this off in the app.
The picture quality is good for the cost of the camera it’s not 4K ultra HD but it will certainly show in a crash situation who was responsible night vision is ok to but I haven’t found a dash camera yet that has really decent night vision just for the fact or you seem to have his headlights pointing at your camera or brake lights pointing at your camera dazzling anyway. It doesn’t give you GPS coordinates or speed or your registration number or anything else on your recording literally the time and the video and quite frankly that for me is enough.
If you want to dash cam with all the bells and whistles then pay for it if you want a cheap and cheerful dash cam does the job and would just show you things like near misses or who was at fault in a front on accident this is the camera for you.
Please be aware no SD card is supplied with the kit but most people have SD cards these days floating around in a drawer.
Great product, easy to install! I was surprised by the quality of this Camera. The setup was easy and straightforward. Included a very long power cable enough for my use. Very nice and compact packaging. It auto-records as soon as the car starts up. With your car shuts down, it uses the battery on the camera and goes into Parking collision mode which automatically turns on and starts recording when your car is hit or the camera detects a movement or vibration. Highly impressed, and would recommend it!
