———-Frequently Questions and Answers———–

Q1: Which SD card do I use in my dash cam?

A1: The Class 10 or higher, 32GB MicroSD Card is recommended. And please format it to the FAT32 file system on your computer and camera before using it for the first time. It is recommended to replace the card with a new one when multiple reminders for formatting. Or using the paper clip to poke the “RESET” hole, you can reset the factory setting, which can also fix this problem or other little questions(like freeze) well. It is recommended to format the card regularly every two weeks.

Q2: After I charge it overnight, how long will the dash cam work without power from the car charger?

A2: All dashcams on the market with a built-in lithium battery only support a few small functions such as to provide enough power to save the last video file when the power gets disconnected. So please keep the dash cam AlWAYS connected to the charger when it’s recording.

Q3: How do I set up the dash cam to fully utilize it’s functions?

A3: We recommend that you choose these settings: 1) set the Loop Recording to “3 minutes”; 2) set the G-sensor to “low”; 3) turn off Parking Monitoring and Motion Detection while driving.

Q4: How do I use the Parking Monitor function 24 hours a day?

A4: If you want to use the camera as a 24-hour vehicle monitor, please prepare a Type-C hardwire kit to continuously power the dash cam.

Q5: How do I view videos?

A5: 1. You can view videos in the “playback” of the camera.

2. You can use the card or USB data cable to transmit the videos to the computer for check. (Do NOT use Windows Media Player. VLC Media Player, KM Player or PotPlayer is recommended.)

For the price this a decent quality dash cam. It’s easy to fit and set up ( you need to purchase a memory card as not included) the footage is very clear even at night. It is a good size that tucks nicely behind the rear view mirror. The adhesive mount has held well, my previous dash cam had a suction mount and was forever falling off when I went over a speed bump.
Would definitely recommend and grab it now while on offer at 29.99 ( at time of review)

Bought this as cheap and also the entire set up inside the car is small due to the stick on pads rather than suction cups.

I wasn’t expecting much for the price. I was wrong, very easy to setup and use. Installation was a piece of cake. Picture quality is excellent. I like that the plug in power supply has a usb output which is very handy. The unit is small enough to be positioned behind the rear view mirror without causing any obstruction. The screen is very small, so if you need to view any footage you would be better removing the sd card and playing back via a computer or similar device.

Good value camera, the picture quality is clear during the day and night. It’s small and compact and easy to use. The setup is straightforward and the pack comes with clear instructions. With the price point of 39.99, this iZEEKER Mini Dash Cam is a great budget camera. The resolution is basic 1080P so you can’t expect sharp picture and the night view isn’t that great but it’s still better than nothing. The recommended SD card size is up to 32GB but once the memory is used up it automatically overwrites so it won’t be an issue.
I’m using it as a 2nd rear cam as a back up, as my main rear cam from a well-known brand doesn’t always turn on which is quite annoying.

Dashcams have been around for a while and I always wanted one. But I was never happy having to ‘hard-wire’ it, tuck a cable under the dashboard covers or worse, having it dangle from the windscreen

Years on and producers still can’t make a dashcam with a decent built-in battery. It’s a standard – even most expensive models haven’t got it. Apparently it’s to prevent heating up from the sun and explodingBut what about TomToms then?
Oh well, I finally got one of them. It’s a simple and very inexpensive model, but I have to say it impressed me with what it’s got to offer for the price.
Firstly, it’s quite small. There are smaller models, but this one also goes flat on the windscreen. If you fit it well, you’ll stop noticing it’s there. You can only go as small with a dashcam that has a screen. The installation is really simple – you just tear the foil off the adhesive mount (you get a spare one) and stick it on the windscreen. Push and hold for a moment and done. You can then unclip from the mount by just sliding the camera up and out. The camera will also automatically switch on and begin recording as soon as you switch the engine on (if it’s plugged in with SD card in), and record for a few seconds after you switch it off.
Secondly, it offers quite decent features. There’s no GPS, not for this price. But you have a decent quality full HD lens, with a good picture even in darker areas. You have wide angle coverage – 170 degrees is very decent. You have a built-in screen which allows you to actually see something on it.
The camera has the 24h parking monitor mode. You have to enable it from the menu and it requires ‘hard-wiring’ to the fuse box. The camera only has a small battery that lasts for 5 mins. It’s meant for some basic, quick operations like changing settings. I haven’t used the monitor mode yet, but you can enable it together with motion detection (separate feature), where the camera will record even if someone comes close to the car, without touching it.
You have a decent menu, where you can set everything up – it’s also quite easy to go about. You can connect it to a PC without taking the micro-SD card out. It will pop up with a menu where you select if you want it to act as a storage device for uploading photos, a PC camera or just go to normal mode as a dashcam. It copies with the same speed as when you plug the card directly into your PC/phone.
The camera lens angle can be adjusted, depending on the angle of your windscreen, as well as the length of your bonnet. It covers a wide area anyway, but you’ll want to have the road in the center of the screen.
The camera records in Mov format, which can be read by typical apps on mobiles as well as PC. For some reason the manufacturer discouraged opening the files in Windows Media Player. It worked perfectly fine for me and had the same quality as any other app. A 3 min file takes just under 300Mb of the storage space.
The video is Full HD 1080p. You can reduce it in the camera menu to save space, but I don’t think it’s necessary. On a recommended 32Gb card you will be able to record loads. The files don’t start replacing themselves until all available space is gone.
I think you can lock a video and it will then save it in a different folder on the card. I didn’t know you could do that as it doesn’t say anywhere. I read it in someone else’s review but they didn’t explain how to lock it. I think you have to press and hold the Mode/menu button.
What’s the quality like? Pretty good. The picture is nice – bright and with decent colors. You can recognize the number plates of the car you’re following from 15-20 meters. Same goes for signs, stationary cars etc. The visibility reduces with less light and more speed, as well as greater angle. You won’t be able to recognize the number plates of a car driving the opposite lane towards you. But the car itself will be clearly visible of course.
With no outside light and just your headlights on, you will be able to see a bit more than what you can see with your own eyes in the same conditions. You can check the video – I recorded at different times of the day.
The camera can also record sound. You can switch it off if you want. The quality is good – you can hear yourself, the radio, car horns, bumps on the road etc.
Is there anything I don’t like? For the price – hardly.
The main gripe is that everyone should really stop using micro-USB ports. They’re fiddly, easily broken and slower than its successor – USB-C.
I also wish the car charger was a bit smaller – I’ll have to find one that enables me to not have to take it out every time I don’t use it and want to close the compartment. It could also be a USB cable with a car charger you can plug it into, instead of just a fixed charger. At least it has a USB-A port too.
I wish there was a button to enable the parking assistant, without having to go to the menu and select it from there. It would be nice to have a small, soft drawstring bag for the camera if you keep taking it with you when you don’t drive?
I’m not really expecting 4K quality or 60fps refresh rate for this price. It still looks very good at 30fps.
Could the screen be even better? IPS maybe? Could a 32Gb SD card be included with the set? Perhaps.

The current price is another element I really like. It’s gone down since I ordered it and now costs 30. I also have a 10 voucher option available, which makes it a really attractive purchase. I’m hoping the camera won’t suddenly break or damage my SD card. I also hope it reacts well to the heat in summer.
The customer service at Izeeker is really helpful and responsive – I asked them some questions and they were very kind and prompt. It really counts for me. Overall I think my first dashcam is pretty good. I’m definitely happy to have it and to recommend it.

Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Great value for the price, nice and small camera with screen and Full HD video

In the box is everything you need to get it up and working apart from a microSD card. I had a spare 16Gb that seemed to do the job perfectly.
The dash cam is affixed to the windscreen via an adhesive pad (spare in box) and the lens then pivots vertically to allow you to position the camera to frame the picture correctly. The screen on the back really helps with this setup and also as a quick view to review any captured footage without the need to load it up on a laptop. Power is supplied by a long 12v car adaptor to microUSB cable, which is plenty long enough for the majority of cars, although some may wish to investigate hard wiring it to ensure permanent power feed for 24/7 monitoring and parking protection.

Using the supplied adaptor means that the device powers up with your car and starts recording as soon as it completes its start up process.
There are multiple options for recording, resolution (highest 1080p recommended),loop recording (3 mins default) when space on the sdcard runs out it will overwrite the oldest first, dynamic range, exposure setting, motion detection on/off, audio on/off, timestamp, gravity sensor (collision sensor), parking guard (needs to be hard wired), and a headlight warning (I haven’t tested this).
The picture quality is fairly good and number plates can be picked up if fairly close and there is not too much vibration, also the angle captured looks to be quite good and wide, listed as 170 degrees on the spec sheet.

Also one thing worth mentioning its that even though the dashcam is stuck to the windscreen a little pressure can pop the cam off a mounting clip, leaving a plastic bracket stuck to the screen, this allows the dashcam to taken indoors or put out of sight if necessary.

For the price (29.99 at time of review) its pretty good value for a budget dashcam.

Great offering for a budget dashcam

Compact in size and so it doesn’t take up a lot of room and keeps the car looking smart.
Footage is very good! I’m impressed.
    Battery life excellent.
Perfect for every day journeys and gives reassurance. I’ve been using this now for a few weeks and I’ve had absolutely no issues, so I’m happy with the quality and it appears durable in lasting a lot time.

I wanted a dash cam for peace of mind, this one is very good.

It’s very simple to fit and comes with a spare adhesive pad if you need to move it to a new car etc.

It fits nice and close to the windscreen and comes with a small plastic pry tool to help tuck the excess wiring away behind trims. I fitted it behind my mirror and when driving I don’t see it at all.

The video quality is clear and smooth with a wide angle lens for good coverage. It comes with many features of much more expensive products like loop recording, time stamp, parking mode and a g-sensor and it’s a lot neater too. The only thing you’ll need to buy is an SD card to record your footage too. You can adjust the length of loop recording time to suit your SD card storage capacity.

The quality compares favourably to a well known brand name cam my husband has in his car and for just under 30 is a quarter of the price.

I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone who drives a car.

    Great value for money

Little camera is absolutely perfect for your dashboard it’s small and compact and easy to set up, you do need to get your own memory card to slot into it but you can pick one up cheap enough.

You can either use a usb port or a cigarette port, I actually use this for my back window as I have a usb port and my boot and it’s really good and gives that piece of mind watching both.

I am really surprised at how good this camera is. We had been sharing one between the van and the car which was time consuming swapping it over. I had planned to pop this one in the van as we don’t use it as often, but I am that impressed I decided to use it in the car. It is easy to set up and mount, no awkward mount stands or mirror clips. You just stick the holder to the windscreen, make sure the screen is clear first. The unit just slides into the holder. The tool included is really handy to press the cable under the interior trim, it is a quick process, the cable is a decent length.
The screen is easy to read and the settings easy to navigate. When we got home from the first use I took the camera in with me and connected to my laptop. Viewing the video is easy, the SD card in the camera shows as a removable drive, you can navigate it as you would a drive or USB stick. Copy speed from camera to PC is quick. I was very impressed at the quality of video, it is really clear, number plates can be read easily, and a wider area of the road is covered so you can easily see traffic from both directions. Really pleased with this dash cam.

Good price for a simple and small dash cam.
It works well and captures the images I need during my drive.
The video quality is ok, not exceptional, but can identify mostly of the things around, not sure about reading the other cars’ registration numbers.
It is easy to setup and just needs to organise wires.
Good product for the price (29)

Dashcams have become essential for motoring and there are literally hundreds on the market. The IZeeker ID210 fits into the more affordable end of the market and designed to be discreet with it’s wedge design.

The dashcam comes packed in a branded box. As well as the dashcam you have a power cable, a micro USB cable, an additional 3m adhesive pad, a tool to aid fitting, and a manual. The camera is of a wedge design that mounts directly to the screen. Personally I would have liked to have seen a separate mounting plate. At the front of the cam you have the lens that can be tilted up and down to maximise coverage, and account for the rake of the window. On the rear you have a small low res screen for adjusting settings, play back and a live view. The power cable is plenty long enough for front mounting and maybe even for rear mounting in some cars. The cable also includes an additional USB port so you can still charge another device while the 12v socket is populated.

Fitting the cam is fairly straight forward. First of all find an unobstructed location, test fit it, clean the areas, then remove the backing from the adhesive and stick it to your screen. The supplied tool should aid you in routing the power cable behind any trim. Once powered on the camera is fairly easy to set up. It requires an micro SD card but these are ten a penny. The camera is fairly basic with no GPS and a maximum of 1080p resolution. For the most part this is fine and the overall quality is ok. Numberplates can be read at around 15 metres. sometimes more, and of course less when in motion. The issue isn’t the 1080p resolution here but the framerate. It would have been nice had it included a 60fps option. At night it works reasonably well to resolve detail. The cam can be set to record in loops with 3 options for the length of clip. In the event of a collision, or when the event button is pressed, the cam will write protect that clip. Unlike other cams I’ve used these are put into a separate folder.

This is a fairly basic dashcam that performs ok. The lack of GPS sensor is disappointing and it would be nice to have more FPS and resolution options. However the price is low and it’s easy to fit and use. If you want a simple dashcam for your vehicle, or you want a second rear facing one, then this is good value.

Really decent offerings for the price, at time of review 29.99.

With everything you need (except for SD Card!) to get started in the world of dashcamming this is a great start. The dash cam has adhesive to stick to your windscreen and powered via micro-usb (there is a long length car charger included as well as usb-a to micro usb cable) making installation pretty straight forward.

The SD card slots in easily and can be removed by pressing it down as its a traditional spring loaded sd card slot.

The dashcam records as soon as you power it on so when you start your car. Once it reaches full capacity, the dashcam will overwrite the oldest footage so worth nothing that if you want to save your footage you should unload it frequently.

There are numerous settings you can change including when to record, the date, video quality as well as a host of other things.

For the price, this is a good starter dashcam and really good if you just need one in case of a crash for video proof.

I put a 32Gb Micro SD card in that I owned with no prior formatting and it worked flawlessly.

This is a great little dash cam which does not stick out as much as most of the others on the market. Video quality is good and it was easy to set up. The cable is very long so can be easily concealed for a wide rarity of car size.

    Highly recommended!

This dash cam looks really neat and small and won’t be a distraction on the dash.
It’s a shame the sd card wasn’t included as we had to wait until it arrived to fit it in our car.
Reading the instructions the fitting looked fairly easy and it was. It gives a surprisingly clear wide angled picture and is very easy to use.
It’s definitely one of the cheaper dash cams on the market but works well and we’re very happy with it.

I would say this is ideal as a stater dash cam if you’ve never had one before you get the feel of how to use one… Very simple to setup and Install virtually plug and play once you’ve fixed the unit into position.
Quality looks good for the price…
But if your serious about getting a dash cam I would post a little more and go for a branded one that offers reliability and better picture quality and additional features….
In this day and age I think it’s essential every car has a dashcam to prove who is at fault and whose been wreckless….. Hence I would rather buy a better well known brand for that extra piece of mind…..

The thing I don’t like about webcams is they’re bulky and obtrusive so I find them distracting. This one is small and neat in fact nearly golf the size of my last one. Very easy to set up and use, clear picture, you will need a SD card as one isn’t provided. Once secured to my dash it didn’t move at all. Very happy with this and a good price for the quality.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve added the unboxing video so you can see what you actually get.

The whole product came very nicely and securely packaged no damage.

It’s nice to have a little pry bar included to help with the installation.

The supplied USB cable, USB a two micro USB is very short, maybe 30 cm long. The manufacturers have supplied a 12 V power cable to use in your vehicle. It’s quite long about 12 feet and it’s useful to have a little pry bar to help with the fitting.

There is a small square of two sided sticky tape fitted to the dash cam as well as a spare one. The dash cam can be removed from the car after it’s been fitted leaving a small plastic portion behind. It is a very tight fit and as you can see from the video Can be a bit fiddly but it will come away with a better force. No danger of just falling down !

There is a little reset tool should you need it.

I’m surprised, it’s micro USB and not usbC (PD) connection but disappointing. Also Video quality is supposed to be 1080p which is also a little bit of yesterdays technology.

It all looks quite straightforward. I will have a go at fitting this as soon as my class three micro SD card arrives.
