For the price these are probably the best scooters around! They are simple to assemble and a great ride for the kids they are really happy with them. The only thing I would say is they are a bit rattly but otherwise they go fast, easy to transport and the friction locks just fine for use. I am not sure about them being fit for an adult but for a child up to say 12 they are a perfect scooter especially for the money (I say they because I bought 2 of them!)
