The Kuzupro mini (8 inch/20cm) chainsaw is really good. Just the job for small lopping jobs and for keeping unruly shrubs etc in order. Battery (2 supplied) life is good and charge time is short (c.30 minutes)

What an amazing bit of kit!
Not only for pruning my neighbour’s evil hedge but ripping up pallets for firewood plus other other odd jobs. It comes with two chains, i am still on the original, but chains are readily available and quite cheap. I keep the chain oiled which will preserve its life. Bonus is two batteries. All in all a good deal.
First of all this is a brilliant tool. I have had it for several months now and it has not failed to impress me with it’s power and ease of use. I have a number of trees in the garden that need attention and this saw does the job in seconds – both dry and green wood. But there are a number of similar saws on the market and some of them are probably as good.
Why I am writing this review is that I had a problem with the saw and so I got in touch through the company’s customer service. In three days I had the replacement part. No fuss, no drama. It comes with a two year guarantee that suggests to me that they have confidence in their product but also in their customer relations. I can thoroughly recommend this company and their chain saw.
Great product but the chain rubs against the battery in the box as the chainsaw part is loose fitting in the plastic mounding – needs a cover on the chain ideally or a redesign of the box
Its designed for rough cutoffs and not precision. But I don’t think we could have done a better job with a jigsaw or circular saw so I can imagine this saw being very useful on a building site where they’re putting up fences or joists all day and need fast basic cuts.
The battery will last you quite a long time. You’ll get 2-4h of very frequent/constant use per battery, and it comes with two so you’ll be set for the whole day as long as you keep them charged.
The guard is essential and should be left on unless you’re very familiar with this tool. But it is easily removable if you do need to take it off.
The saw can be safely wielded by an amateur as there is no kickback but try to resist the temptation to support it with your 2nd hand, because it’s not designed for that and there are no safe areas to put your other hand. Which is it’s only drawback. This is strictly a one-hand tool! But it’s not heavy and fits nicely in both of our hands!
I am pleased with this buy and think it’ll be getting used for years to come!

Used this saw for cutting down smaller tree branches and it did a great job. It’s lightweight and batteries seem to last long enough for most jobs, especially as there is a spare one. Also great that it comes with a decent carry case and spare chain. Really pleased.

I bought this for pruning my border hedge. I’ve already got it’s little brother (6″) because it worked faultlessly. The bigger branches of my ancient hawthorn needed a bit more oomph and the 8″ version does this easily. Very pleased (again). We’ll worth the money.
Great mini chainsaw. Made fairly easy work of this old conifer. Battery life good, 2 included with chainsaw, spare chain, screwdriver and bottle of oil. Before and after pictures. Took around an hour to cut down the partially lopped tree. Bonus is that i tv comes in a sturdy carry box I would recommend this product.

I decided to get a hand held chainsaw as I have several trees and large woody shrubs that require cutting back and it was taking me ages to get it done using normal tools.

This is impressive, but in the wrong hands could be lethal. I’ve used it to saw seasoned branches to make logs for burning. It cuts roughly – don’t expect a nice smooth finish. It’s light and easy to use, comes in a sturdy purpose-built case and is easy to charge. It took a little while to figure out how to assemble it from the instructions. Always wear safety goggles when using, as wooden fragments fly everywhere. Good value.
I recently got the this Mini Chainsaw and it’s something of a game-changer for my garden work. It’s lightweight and so easy to handle, even with just one hand! The brushless motor makes cutting through branches a breeze, and it doesn’t make too much noise either. I love that it comes with two batteries, a power indicator, and all the accessories I need.
Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. It’s perfect for those smaller jobs that my regular saw just couldn’t handle. There were a couple of minor issues with battery life and adjusting the chain tension, but it’s not a big deal considering how efficient and easy to use this chainsaw is. I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
This is a good quality mini chainsaw that comes with everything you need to get started. It works great and cuts through branches with ease. It really makes the job so much easier and feels much safer to use than a full sized chainsaw. The size makes it much more manoeuvrable and the lighter weight makes it more comfortable to use for extended periods of time.
It arrives with the chain on and both batteries almost fully charged, so that you can get to work straight out of the box.
If I have any whinges at this early stage, they are limited to the fact that as a left hander, I’m forced to use my right, as the power controls are designed for a right hander.

Great bit of kit – so far I’ve only been able to use it to tackle a large buddleia that had got out of hand in the garden, but it made quick and easy work of getting that cut right down. The very sharp saw cut through all the different branch widths with ease – I would have been scared to use a regular chainsaw but no fears with this one. Feels light and easy to use and doesn’t sound scary like something from a horror movie! The 2 batteries is a bonus so you can tackle those larger jobs without running out of power. If you need a good value and easy to use chainsaw and you dont plan on hacking down giant trees, this one is highly recommended.
Fits into it’s fitted box with chain in place, just take battery off (quick and easy) store it in the case and you are ready to go. Excellent service and service.

I was looking for a small portable chain saw that was light and small enough to store away. I bought this kit and assembly was straight forward with easy to read instructions. Once set up was quick and easy to use with enough power from the 21v 2.0Ah batteries. The kit is well made with all the tools and extras you would need to set up and go.
Only extra I would have liked is once the saw was set up, it would have been nice to fit it straight in the carry case with the chain attached. But only takes 5 min to reassemble so not a big deal.

This product is easy to assemble the battery charged up quickly used on my logs for the fire cut through them in no time at all approx 10 minutes with a saw it would of taken about half an hour well happy
Things to note
1. Battery life (there are 2 included) is not mega huge, but it’s good to take breaks anyway when using dangerous tools like this. With all the mini-breaks, I think I went about 40 minutes, TOTAL time.
2. New chains need to be done if you’;re cutting wet (LIVE) wood. I Probably got about 25 metres of thick hedge ‘trunks’ done by the time it was right to change the chain. They’re not expensive – I bought a couple of spares at about GBP 6 on Amazon.
Overall, recommended, for the right job.

One downfall which could be an improvement if rectified is that when the belt clip is attached you can not close the lid of the carry case so it means you have to remove it every time you put it away.

I got this product so that I could cut back a large “bush” in a front garden. I use the term “bush” lightly, it was more like a tree trunk when I actually went to look at it the other day.
I’d tried an electric saw on it, but it vibrated so badly, I wasn’t able to cut it. So I bought this. I didn’t fancy using a bigger chainsaw, as I know they can be dangerous if they kick back, so this looked to be the best solution for me.
It comes in a decent sized box, it’s about 12cm tall, 25cm deep and 40cm long.
It does need a bit of assembly before you can use it, you need to fit one of the two chains that are included. The instructions are all there for you, and are clear enough, it took me about five or ten minutes to get it all set up, and the majority of that was me trying to tension the chain properly. I struggled with the tensioner screw, I know there’s only two ways to turn it, but I think I made the job harder for myself than I needed honestly…
When you do get it tensioned properly, then you can attach the battery. If you press the safety button in on the side with your thumb, and then press the trigger button for less than a second, the light on the front of the chainsaw lights up, and will stay illuminated for approximately 9 seconds before extinguishing. If you keep the trigger held, then the chainsaw starts running. It’s about 72 decibels at a foot away, not too noisy, but could be worthwhile using ear protection?
It cuts through wood quickly and easily. It’s really light compared to the electric saw I was using previously, and it feels comfortable in your hand. I’ve got big hands, but this gives me plenty of room to hold it safely and comfortably.
This unit comes with two batteries. They are 21 volt 2.0 amp hour batteries, and they both have an LED battery gauge on them. Press the button and it shows how much power it has. I really love this idea, it’s so good to be able to check quickly and easily if the battery is charged.
Because it’s cordless, it’s so much easier to use. I don’t have to get an extension reel out, plug in an rcd, reel it out to the garden and then plug a saw in before I can use it. I can literally grab the box, check the battery charge, snap the battery on and be ready to cut in seconds.
The light isn’t very bright, in normal situations outside you’d not know it was there, but in a dark area, it does light up enough so you can see. I do always appreciate having a light to show where I’m working.
The toolkit bag is roughly the size of a pencil case, and easily contains the spare chain, the screwdriver for tensioning the chain and a small bottle of oil to lubricate the chain.
It does come with one of the metal belt hangers, but with this fitted in place, you couldn’t shut the case without excessively forcing and warping it. If you do need to use it, screw it on and when you finish up, unscrew it and put it back in its bag.
I’m very impressed with this and can see me using it a fair bit in the future. I would recommend it.
This little beauty is amazing, honestly, I can reduce a sizeable branch toe firewood in no time at all. It cuts with ease, it’s lightweight and easy to handle, the battery life is amazing and so far, even after reducing a lot of branches to firewood, the blade is as sharp as ever. Other than actually cutting trees down, you won’t need anything else for D I Y or in the garden. In my opinion you wi not get bet value for money. It sits in the back of my car now, so that ready for use when there’s spare firewood available to be cut. Excellent product at an excellent price
For a mini chainsaw this is an effective little power tool. IT may be small but it does do the small jobs well.
Obviously one won’t be able to fell a mature tree with this but it is a good size for lobbing off branches, trimming hedges etc. and is also a handy tool for the home.
This mini chainsaw can make an easy task of slicing through floorboarding, plasterboard etc. etc. whilst also being good for cutting through solid wooden shelving. Basically, it is good for cutting through any type of wood.
Using this mini chainsaw is easy and as it’s lightweight it is easier to handle than it is to handle a full sized one.
THis product comes with a spare battery so one can always have a battery fully charged and there is ample power / energy capacity to make a job easy.
I am recommending this product as although it is a budget ranged product; it is good quality, it does make easy work, it’s easy to handle and it is good value
I bought this chain saw after much research into similar products. I could not see the point of purchasing a saw that had interchangeable 4 inch and 6 inch chains. I felt that once the 6 inch chain was in place it could stay attached and do all my cutting and pruning needs. I wanted a saw that was powerful enough to tackle my overgrown trees and shrubs in my large garden and this chain saw does just that with ease. I have used it now for a week and the initial battery still has some power left in it, so I have found there is no need to keep recharging the batteries. Having 2 batteries is a bonus, which means I can continue using the saw with a simple battery change. I particularly like the chain guard which prevents any contact with the top of a moving chain. Not having an oil reservoir does not detract from this saws use, I just put a few drops of light oil on the chain now and again between uses. This saw does what it is intended to do, I have used it in conjunction with my secateurs and my loppers on the thicker branches from one inch up to three inches and it cuts extremely well, remember, like any tool, let the tool do the work do not force things. Overall, a brilliant piece of equipment.
This mini cordless chainsaw is a great little idea for shrubs and bushes with slightly thicker trunks (that loppers won’t be able to handle) or for more stubborn plants in general.
It comes with charging cradle, saw chains, batteries and various accessories all tucked away in a little bag. The casing seems reasonably sturdy and able to withstand typical DIY and gardening knocks and bumps.
It may not be the most powerful unit, but then it is not meant to fell trees and it is more than powerful enough for most garden chores.
Like all power tools, you need a degree of care and common sense when using this, but for larger chopping jobs around the garden this is well worth adding to your arsenal.

This little saw has absolutely blown me away. It’s compact but very powerful indeed. I bought it expecting nothing more than a glorified looper but it is so much more than that. It can handle tree branches the width of its blade with ease. It goes through both hardwood and softwood like butter. Using it for the fist time chopping firewood at my parents home today and we were all seriously impressed by how powerfully it cut logs.
I managed to fill a wheelbarrow with firewood in about five minutes!
I’m going to keep this in my camper so when we go camping I can grab firewood and cut it up in seconds
This is another of those tools that becomes indispensable after a while. I have had a corded one of these before and was always frightened of accidentally cutting the wire. They are often unwieldy and I was afraid to use it.
This one is ideal as it’s cordless and very light but is powerful enough to cut through 3-4″ branches, something I have an abundance of in my garden. Added to it, it has two two batteries so you always have a spare. It has some accessories with it that are useful.
To sum up, an excellent product that I’m sure will get plenty of further use. I will update this in due course. Recommended.
For the price its OK for a Basic chordless pruning chain saw
Comes in a hard shell black plastic case it feels a little too plastic if you know what I mean the locking catches especially although they do function as intended but I wouldn’t describe them as industrious
The chain saw requires some basic assembley the blade guide, chain, and belt hook then tighten it all up
The safety guard is spring loaded but again its plastic so its a good idea to wear safety glasses although you should with any power tool really
It included 2 battery’s a power lead to charge battery’s a tool kit with a positive end screw driver a small bottle of oil and a spare chain which is nice to see the 6 inch chains are around 20 pound alone so that’s good
The handle is textured for extra grip and it has a safety lock above the trigger to prevent accidental use
The battery’s have a button to show the remaining bars they light up green and it lasts well
The saw works well too as a whole although I did have to tighten the chain mid cut
It’s perfect for home use large gardens basic pruning etc
I tried it out on a tree I need to remove around 6 inches thick and thicker in parts
It will do the job fine but I’d say ensure you have full controll of the saw as starting a cut it can jump a little so take it slow and let the blade do the work or it may snag or bounce at first if it does its easy enough to remove but makes more work when its not needed
My only complaint is the metal loop that screws onto the bottom when that’s on you can’t close the case and it’s too much a task to fit and unfit each time
It’s not required anyway and it is just to belt the saw while using your hands when up high etc
There’s a torch when in use so you can see the cut better and its not very loud really about the same as or less than a drill or any other saw
otherwise its OK for the price range and ideal for landscaping gardeners or for having in the shed at home for general use

Wow! This little gem is awesome just what I needed for the jobs that are just a bit to big for hand secateurs or you just can’t be bothered to hand saw the branches off. I love the fact that it comes with 2 chains and 2 x 21v batteries and there charger. All fits in a smart black briefcase type case. OK so it’s not 1000 horse power and it’s not petrol. So don’t use it like it is. Keep the tasks at hand simple and not to big and it works absolutely brilliantly. It’s lovely and lightweight so not a pain to hold in one hand for the duration of a cut. I checked the availability of spare chains and there’s loads here on amazon so no issues with getting new ones. The chain is easily tightened with the screwdriver provided as and when it needs to be during the job. I have been looking for a chainsaw for a long time now and didn’t want a powerful petrol machine or an expensive mains lead corded type. So this one for less then 90 fit’s the bill perfectly. Ideal for the boot of the car for wild camping but absolutely perfect for general use in the back garden.

I Tried the chainsaw first on a 3″ X 3″ and 2″ X 1″ block of wood.
The chainsaw went through them like butter.
In the garden used is on various branches up to 3″ works very well even with the moisture in the branches.
Easy to set up for initial use.
Cleaning and tensioning of saw teeth I found easy to do.
Quality feels good but battery life could be better I got about 20 min constant use per battery.
I would recommend this product for garden use on branches up to 4″ thick.
Needed something to prune trees and bushes that were too thick for my secateurs so opted to try this battery chainsaw. Comes in a sturdy carry case with 2 batteries and a handy tool pouch, contained screwdriver; oil and a couple of chains. Fitted the chain, bit fiddly but easier with practice. Gave it a try on some of my fruit trees, did a great job on some fairly thick branches – see photos. I hadn’t tightened the chain screw up enough and it slipped once but after I correctly tightened it, it worked great. I cannot say how long a battery will last as I used it for about 15 mins and it was still strong; and the fact you have two batteries is a bonus. Nice product and better still it was on offer. Would recommend.
I have used full-size electric-powered chain saws before but that was when we lived out in the countryside. Here in the town, I had a need for something just as powerful but much smaller and preferably rechargeable. This is why I went for the KUZUPRO Mini Chainsaw.
It is very small, smaller than I had imagined but actually it turned out to be just the perfect size. There are some overhanging bushes in a small space down the side of our home and they are difficult to get at. With this mini chainsaw, I could reach them with just one hand!
Any worries I had that something this small may not be powerful enough was completely erased as soon as I cut through the first branch. It was like a knife through butter. It only took me a few minutes to trim back the bush and clear up the cuttings.
I also tried it on a wooden palette. It had no trouble going through the slats and because there is no cable trailing around it makes it so much easier and safer.
The battery lasts around 20 minutes on a full charge, depending on what you are cutting. But there are two batteries supplied so you can get quite a bit of work done before it is time to charge them up again.
I must admit I didn’t expect much from this little chainsaw but I was very impressed with its performance.
This min chainsaw, by what the company has said has a powerful brushless motor inside, which increases lifespan by 90%, output power by 80%, and reduces energy consumption by 50%, giving your cutting work with no jam, low noise and high efficiency and I can affirm that from my own experiences I a mwilling and included to agree with this assessment of the chainsaw, which I think is perfectly fair.
I was a bit nervous about using a Battery powered chainsaw, however, this is great. I went into my garden and within an hour my garden was hacked back to a more presentable display. The chain saw is easy and safe to use, is quite manageable and feels powerful while sawing through tree limbs. Also cut through some logs to make kindling. The vibration felt mild for the job I was doing and the noise was also quieter than I expected.. The battery pack lasted as long as i needed it but there is the added bonus of 2 batteries. No petrol (bonus) or long power leads meant I could stroll about the garden terrorising bushes and tree limbs with ease! Impressed
