Proved ideal for positioning new appliances and even an aid for levelling some shelves.
A pair of them enabled me to lift the sides of a shed and replace the floor, although one didn’t survive the ordeal – NOTE: the manufacturer doesn’t suggest this use
Until I purchased this I’d used a speed clamp with the head placed on the opposite end, effectively using it like a spreader.
However the gap had to be at least 3 inches wide to insert it, with this tool, it can be placed in a very small gap to be used to lift or move an object.
Great addition to a tool kit.
Great for gates and doors, but early days. They always ask for a review after a couple of days. If I change my opinion I will update this review!
for those annoying times when you cant do 2 things @ once – that is strong enough to left a heavy object off the ground with 1 hand whilst doing the repair task with the other. well with this can let it do the lifting & holding whilst leaving you free to use both of your own hands to do the repair. And yes ive used it already to lift a bed & then do a repair underneath
Bought to lift furniture so I could put risers underneath. So easy to use, not quite high enough so put a couple of hardback books under it and it worked like a charm, sofas done today, beds tomorrow! Highly recommended, especially if you are less able.
Great product, if your working on your own, its better than a lot of mates I have worked with and does as you expect.
Needed this to jack up a cupboard as the supporting cupboard leg had slipped out. Was easy to use. Did what it said. Cupboard fixed.
