The tray was easy to assemble although seemed slightly flimsy. I have 2 of these and they do what is required and catches seed and fat ball spillage reducing significantly the amount on the ground. Some of the birds even feed from the trays. The only issue was that the drain holes blocked very quickly and the tray filled with water. This was solved with a slight enlargement of the holes.
I have two suet ball feeders with round bases, and these easily hook onto them and hang underneath, catching most of the crumbs. They are easy to clean. Job done!
I used it to hang under my hanging bird seed trays and suet feeders to collect the waste, and it works perfectly!! No more mess all over the grass and no more rats.
I’m going to get some more.
Really impressed as I had looked for ages for a solution, no I’ve found it.
Seed was going all over my lawn and these work well to stop that happening
We have recently had problems with mice coming around for bird food dropped by the birds, these are catching about 90% of the droppings and our our camera has only seen 1 misuse once since we put them up.
I hang these underneath bird feeders to catch any food that gets dropped, to discourage rats
I was bit sceptical when I first saw them advertised. So glad I got them. No more messy sludge like stones under
neath the feeder. Can Go back to suet pellets again. These really are a mus
The little birdies love them as ground feeders think they are in pradise.
Only thing would have preferred in dark green but save a lot of mess.
These are great for my bird feeders, as we have a lot of starling’s and they make so much mess, so I just hook these underneath and they catch most of the seeds they Chuck out. They will fit under most bird feeders as they are quite large so ideal.
Great quality and value. I have hooked one onto my caged feeder. A lot of seed used to drop on the lawn. Now it is caught in the tray and the finches can also feed from there.
Birds canThesis are quite big in size and birds can eat their food without messing up.
Bigger than I thought but that’s not a bad thing if it stops the bird seed going all over the floo
I feed fat balls to my wild birds but they used to make a terrible mess on the soil below which encouraged rats (and my dog) to rummage in the debris. Theses trays stop all that. Unfortunately, the fat tends to block up the drainage holes but that is easily remedied by adding a few extra holes in the bottom of the trays.
