Bought this for grandson works fantastically well one slight niggle is the clips that don’t fit perfectly in securing to helmet needs a slight redesign. Maybe a velcro fitting somehow on the actual light, otherwise great light.

    Cheap and light
The charging port it’s flimsy, the cable split up already next to micro usb end,I bought another one.
Expect good middle light for 2.5 hours,on maximum one hour.

The magnet on the side isn’t strong enough otherwise it’s a good job battery lasts well too

At this price it’s not fair to grumble too much but I find the width and weight of the lamp at the front slightly less comfortable than some others I have which have a flexible COB panel at the front and a smaller battery pack on one side where it’s less noticeable.

That said, this is still a very good head torch and very bright. Perfectly suitable for dog walking, camping or whatever. I might want something a bit more robust for more serious uses but for casual everyday use this is excellent, especially at the price.

I needed a head torch that is super bright and had has a long battery for evening dog walks this coming winter. I live in the countryside and pitch blackness is an understatement, so I was pleased that this one came up for review.

This headlamp has a brightness of 2000 lumens and can offer up to 200 meters of visibility. It comes with a USB cable and built-in 1800mAh rechargeable battery, providing up to 4-8 hours of constant light on a single charge — this is more than adequate for my needs and gives me confidence that I will not run out of charge.

The head flashlight is designed with a high-quality elastic band and head sponge pad for easy adjustment and fit for both adults and children — it is very comfortable and secure.

The lamp head can be rotated 90, just move the headlight up and down to adjust freely — this is perfect for directional light and adjusting to get the best view possible.

The LED headlight is IPX4 waterproof and weatherproof, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor use.
It comes with 4 durable hardhat clips; you can easily attach the headlamps to hardhats and helmets.

Ideal for reading, car repairing, running at night, cycling, camping, climbing, fishing, hiking, and walking the dog.

Overall, a very powerful headlamp that can be used in so many situations. 100% recommended.

For 14 this head torch has a wide variation of light modes. It is suitable for a variety of uses. There is a magnetised area incorporated too.

Well specced, well priced. Very impressed.

    Great all round head torch

Very comfortable with many light settings which include white and red.
Easy to put on with clips for the light to fit onto a helmet.
A good price and easy to use .

The torch is IPX4. So okay in a rain shower, but it’s not IPX7 so avoid immersing in water.

The torch has a single button that cycles through:

    On – centre lamp,
On – centre lamp – dim
    On – side LED strip
On – side LED strip – dim
On both centre and LED strip bright
    On – LED strip red
On – LED strip red – flashing.
    Off.

So functionally I find this painful, I have to cycle through multiple settings when 9 times out of 10 I will want On both lamps at full brightness and then Off.

I have had multiple head torches and I have yet to find a reason to use flashing lights, even dimming has little practical value, at least for me, your mileage may vary.

That said this is then almost a universal gripe; give me a binary on off switch.

In other respects this head-torch has much to recommend it.

Comfort is okay, the width is a larger across the forehead than others, and the single head band design seems (at least when new from the box) a good fit – even for say running / activity.
The torch in the cradle can be moved to point down or up, this a great feature, it’s a little stiff from new, but it does mean I can point it down at whatever I am working on.

Where this head-torch differs from many is that it detaches from the headband and so can be a flashlight, in your hand, or via the magnet be attached to a metal surface.
    This does add utility.

Charging is via a Micro-USB port under a rubbery grommet. I haven’t discharged this as yet, so I can’t confirm run time.

There are four plastic clips which were initially a mystery to me, but apparently the allow the torch band to be fixed to a hard hat, which I didn’t trial not having one to hand – but a useful thing if you must wear a hard hat regularly.

In conclusion then a lot to like about this torch, but as so many let down by the faff of having to cycle through so many modes to get to Off, or indeed simply have the torch on brightly.

    It's bright!

Lots of brightness modes on this headtorch make it good for all types of application.

One button switches on and cycles the modes and on the opposite side is a magnet to stick the light to metal surfaces should you need to.

My main issue with the torch is the size, it’s really quite long and as such doesn’t sit on your forehead that great. The padding on the back does keep it comfortable though.

Rechargeable is a big bonus, as these tend to eat batteries. The strap adjusts nicely too.

    Nice and bright, quite big

This is a versatile head torch with 7 different settings that vary the brightness, width of the beam, colour and static versus flashing light, demonstrated in the video.

The torch is charged using a USB charging cable which is included, the charging port is on the underside of the torch. The torch was already charged when it arrived, not sure how long each charge will last, it is claimed 4-8 hours (depending on the brightness of the setting used) which is plenty for a weekend camping, and with the availability of USB chargers in cars and the fact most people who camp will have battery type chargers for mobile phones I think this is a better option than relying on batteries.

The torch has a magnet and a battery level indicator which is really helpful so you can check the charge before using it, which should prevent it running out and leaving you literally in the dark!

The torch also come with 4 clips so it can be used with a hard hat, but I will use them to help turn it into a tent light which can be hung up.

I’ve only used it in the garden so far as we have no camping trips planned, and it is comfortable enough, I think the only thing that would improve it would be some additional padding on the back, but it is comfortable enough to wear so that is a very minor issue.

Overall it is a good head torch, and I’m looking forward to using it on my next trip.

    Versatile head torch

This is a substantial headtorch with some very useful features. The torch consists of a headband with a wide bracket threaded onto an elastic strap. The strap is labelled – entirely superfluously – ‘HEADLAMP’ and carries a logo similar to that used by at least two other companies I can think of. Being a wide bracket this might be less comfortable for those lacking a relatively wide forehead. I found it fitted well. The back of the bracket is lightly padded and the elastic strap also protects the front of the head.

The torch has 7 modes. The high beam is bright and relatively narrow. The white light side beams provide a more even light, suitable for reading by. Charge remaining is indicated with a series of blue LED’s around the power button. Usefully, a long press on this turns the light off. You don’t need to cycle through all the modes to reach off. Less usefully, the red light options are last, meaning your night vision is impaired before you reach them (a feature common to all the headtorches I have ever used).

Charging is via a micro USB connection with a slightly ill-fitting rubber press-fit cover. The torch fits into the bracket either way up, so I’d arrange the USB cover to be on the underside if I was going out in the rain.

One of the best features of the torch is the angle adjustment. This is very positive, with 4 or 5 click detents. There is zero chance of the angle changing in regular use. Of all the headtorches I have used this has the most secure angle adjustment feature. Finally, there is a magnet which allows the torch to be attached to a metal surface if needed.

If the overall width of the torch isn’t an issue this is a good choice and highly recommended. Price is relatively high for a headtorch, though perhaps justified by the functional design.

This light is light to wear. It provides brilliant illumination.
The head strap is light and comfortable. The shape of the light means that it doesn’t tend to flop about as some do.
The switch is a simple button on the side of the light which is easy to operate while wearing the light.
The various stages of very bright, less bright combined lights and all yellow work well. The brightest setting shines out a good distance.
I have had one or two other head lights but this one is the bes

This is a very nicely made headlamp… Simple to use plus rechargeable…
I would trust this for night runs… Dog walking at night etc etc…

I’m not sure I would rely on this for winter hiking… Its states it meets the necessary standards… But I’m still not sure I would rely on this in heavy rain or snow or even drizzle for a few hours on the moors…
But for everyday use… Excellent product…
And at this price for such a unit a bit of a Bargain…

    Update
    19/11/22
Need to get under my kitchen for a few hours to do some work this headlamp performed fantastically… Comfortable and fantastic light for all I needed…..
Had to give it five stars now…
Most definitely a bargain…. Battery lasts for hours and hours… Essential piece of kit if they are serious about blackouts this winter…. Buy one charge it up and keep it handy….

This is a very useful, stretchy headlight. It comes in a compact box, with no instructions. It took us a while to realise what the small clips were in the box but we now realise they are hard hat clips, useful if you need them.

This comes with the cable required to charge it, which is perfect if you own a USB plug, which most of us do these days. It gives off an impressive beam and helps us with the evenings drawing in, in the garden or walking the dog. Recommended.

This is a fantastic head torch and at a remarkably low price with all the features involved! The best features for me are that it has a side beam options which illuminate a much larger area, more like a lamp; it can be switched off without cycling through all seven modes simply by pressing the on/off button for a longer time; and it can be detached, which is unique in my experience.

The magnet is another unusual feature, but one that makes this torch even more versatile because you can attach it to a metallic surface and use it from there, for example to get a better angle in a dark cupboard.

As a head torch, it can be pivoted right down which is something I would like in all head torches. Being chargeable means no battery wastage (however, sometimes a battery operated head torch can be useful if there is no electricity available). There are four blue lights that flash to show how well charged the torch is. They are invisible when the torch is not plugged in.

Aside from that, the variety of light options is excellent, ranging from a beam, to side lights and through to the red lights, all in the same torch. For all this and at such a price I would recommend getting two or more.

This is such a well thought out head torch:

Well made, head strap is thick, elastic, easy to adjust and then light feels solidly made
Comfortable to wear directly on my head
Light unit can be easily and quickly detached from the head strap to become a good hand held torch
Can be easily reattached to head strap
While attached to head strap, it can be easily adjusted – tilted up/down – has a good racket adjustment mechanism
One end of the light has a good size magnet – can be attached and HUNG from above
Has 7 light modes – 5 white and 2 red
Both White AND Red lights are BRIGHT
The RED light is one of the best I have used on a head torch – I use RED ONLY when doing astro photography… just a shame you must cycle through all 5 white modes to get to RED
The are 4 blue small LEDs at one end to indicate the power/charge level

The only 2 negative points I found when testing,
1/ There is NO MEMORY FUNCTION – in other words, you can turn the light off when in any light mode (just hold the power button for 2 seconds) – BUT when you turn the light on, it always start with the centre white light and then you must cycle the light modes to get to the mode you want.
    2/ The charging is via a Micro-USB port… very old school using Micro-USB !!!

At 13.99 (at the time of review – September 2022), I would say that is cracking value for a versatile and BRIGHT head torch, one of the best RED head torches I have used… just a shame there is no memory function included, because then it would have been perfect… without memory, it is ‘nearly perfect’, but still happy to rate this as 5 imho.

Close to perfect - super Bright White AND Red, just missing a memory function 👍

This head torch is pretty light weight and comfortable to wear. It doesn’t claim to be a running torch and personality I’d say it’s too bulky for running but otherwise it’s a good size and weight.
It unclips from the band and can be stood up on the magnet end. The magnet is pretty weak so I don’t think you could reliably stick it to the side of things or upside down.
Comes with helmet clips should they be useful and a USB cable.
The modes are easy to cycle through and a long press turns it off. It would be better if the first mode was full light or it remembered the last mode but a few presses gets you there anyway.
It’s certainly brights but almost certainly not 2000lm as it claims but it’s a fair bit brighter than my Petzl Core which is 450lm and has good light distribution.
The light can be tilted so it can point down even if you head is up.
Can’t comment on battery life yet as I haven’t charged and run it down yet.
A very nice torch at this price.

Bright and light, great at this price.
