Seems to do what advertised, I highly doubt that pH is actually accuratly reported to one decimal place since it is not calibrated and takes a while to settle on the measurement. Probably good enough to know if the soil is seriously off the mark though.

Il prend la temprature, ph, si le sol est sec, sec +, humide, mouill, l’ensoleillement. C’est une question de got et besoin spcifique, mais j’aurais prfr avoir un % d’humidit pour un meilleur contrle et que a match avec les applications pour plantes, la mienne est en %. Trs bon produit, facile lire (gros chiffres)

Das Bodenmessgert lsst sich schnell und einfach zur Bodenprfung von Pflanzen im gesamten Haus einsetzen. Man erfhrt schnell, ob die Pflanze Wasser bentigt oder der Standort fr die Lichteinstrahlung stimmt. Auch die Temperatur und Eigenschaft des Bodens wird angezeigt.
The ph meter being digital is much more accurate than a analog dial. It can be slow to respond, I stick it in the soil I’m testing wait about a minute for it to stabilize then do several areas and go by the average. It could use a nutrient reading on it like some others, but on the other one I tried it was very dubious as to the accuracy. Soil that I knew to be good it said wasn’t that good, yet our crops are growing great, even better than last year at the same time. But I was mostly interested in the ph values so it fills my needs.

I bought this meter to analyze pH level in my garden. It works well and is very easy to use but I’m not sure, if the pH measurement is accurate or not, because all over my garden pH is greater than 7. Maybe it is true and anyway I’ll not add any more lime to the soil.
Fr die Feuchtigkeitsmessung knnten es meiner Meinung nach zwei Abstufungen mehr sein. Die PH-Messung finde ich gut, da sie sehr schnell funktioniert. Ich konnte sie noch nicht vergleichen, aber wenn die Anzeigen stimmen ist es zu den Labor Messungen einfacher und schneller.
Seems to be good out of the box, not sure how accurate it is, but will definitely be putting it to the test!

Fungerar perfekt. Knns vlgjord och gedigen. Drivs av 4 AAA batterier som ej medfljer. Jag testade 4 krukor med olika fuktighetsgrad och mtaren visa rtt p alla 4. Skyddsplast p displayen som br tas av frsta gngen man packar upp den. Ljusmtaren som ocks ingr knns ondig. Jag kan sjlv se om det finns mycket ljus eller inte. Alla ingende funktioner fungerar perfekt. Man mste vnta cirka 10 sekunder innan rtt mtvrden visas. Tnk p att mta i mitten av krukorna, inte ute i kanten dr det blir torrt frst. Man stnger av den genom att hlla hgra knappen p frontpanelen intryckt ngra sekunder, detta str ej i bruksanvisningen. Om jag skulle nska ngot mer s vore det att fuktighetsskalan skulle vara nnu mer fingraderad, men detta r bara en petites, man kan inte f allt fr detta priset. Min fru r vldigt njd med denna mtare 🙂
Bei mir hat das Gert einen soliden, ersten Eindruck gemacht.
Handhabung ist super einfach zu verstehen, aber ja trotzdem wre eine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung gut.

Was mir tatschlich negativ aufgefallen ist, ist dass es keine Baterien dazu gibt.
Das Gert bentigt gleich 4 AAAA Batterien. Heutzutage ist es einfach mit drin. Und wenn man dann eben einen Euro mehr zahlt.

Nach Einlegen der Batterien zeigte es sofort die Lufttemperatur an und beim Einfhren in die Erde, den Ph-Wert bzw. die Feuchtigkeit, je nach Einstellung. Es dauert nur knapp 30 sec. bis sich der Digitalwert eingestellt hat.
Das Gert schaltet sich automatisch nach ca. 1 Min. Nichtbenutzung aus, so dass die Batterien geschont werden.
Einen Punktabzug habe ich nur vollzogen, weil keine deutschsprachige Bedienungsanleitung beilag, obgleich diese wegen der einfachen Handhabung gar nicht notwendig ist.
Auf jeden Fall kann ich das S-1 sehr empfehlen.
eils mangelt es mir an genauigkeit obwohl ich im selben topf messe hat er manchmal die tendenz 0.1 bis 0.2 ph zu variieren. ist zwar nicht sonderlich schlimm aber knnte dennoch genauer sein. auch der lichtsensor scheint nicht immer gleich zu bemessen. ansonsten recht ok fr den preis!
je pense que pour obtenir des valeurs de ph plus ou moins correcte il faut respecter la profondeur de l’enfoncement de la sonde indiqu dans la description faite sur le site et selon le type de terre terreau ou pleine terre . Par contre je ne comprend pas pourquoi il n,y a pas de mode d’emploi fourni avec cet outil; c’est absurbe, (une toile en moins). de fait certain mentionne que l’on ne peut l’teindre , cependant j,ai trouv le moyen; il suffit de tenir enfonc le bouton de droite C/F pendant 2-3 secondes. Encore une fois un mode d’emploi aurait t le bienvenu. Le taux d’humidit, la temprature, et l’exposition au soleil sont des indicateurs qui semblent tre corrects bien que avec un peu de logique et d’observation, on pourrait soit mme en faire une estimation.
Das Gert erfllt meine Erwartungen. Sinnvoll ist eine Beschreibung auf deutsch und ein Hinweis auf Batterielosigkeit.

Never used one before always use to use finger trick for watering lost a plant to root rot was not happy. Herd about these and when I used it for the first time instructions very clean. The screen is very easy to read for me and easy to understand.

Now, its easy to know the pH of the soil, my rear lawn grass not grow healthy because of my puppy’s urination change the soil become acidic comparing with the other part of lawn.

The device is easy to use, able to show the soil temperature and PH value, good for gardening and planting.
Overall its an okay product, but the instruction is really vague that its not as helpful as it meant to be. The PH reading though, sometimes not very accurate. It can appears Low while if you pin it into a very nearby area, its back to normal. We never wash the sensor so it won’t be the damage for sure.
Try this and it’s great and useful! Can’t wait to do some plants.
The device is two degrees high on the ambient temperature. It shows my soil to be acidic and in some places the readout states Lo but this is not explained in the leaflet.
The leaflet say the bottom RHS is degrees F/C/OFF. It doesn’t turn the device OFF. It turns OFF after about 10 minutes inactivity. There is no mention of batteries in the listing for the S1 model however 4 AAA are required.
It gave rapid response and differing readings around the garden so as a guide, a useful tool.
Still to test it out, but so far it looks and works as expected
