I wanted something to add a festive look to the garden for the grand children this Halloween, and these ghost windsocks are ideal. They are strong polyester outers, upper clip hangers, with battery operated string lights inside. They sway in the breeze; with their slightly frightening, spooky faces clearly visible; as the wind strengthens the movement adds to the ghostly look.
Each sock comes with two flat batteries which are placed in the plastic, snap fastening power box; a simple switch turns them on. The fairy lights on a long wire are only tiny, but after dark look impressive. I wouldn’t leave them outside overnight as it might rain, probably filling them with water! but a short, sharp shower today didn’t cause any problems.
The first few photos show them during daylight hours so the lights aren’t that visible; but the last couple of photos show them lit up, at their best in the dark, delightfully creepy!
A good, clearly visible sized decoration, great for Halloween parties; will be able to use them again, so good value set.
