Been getting into my fitness lately I like to walk a lot and on days when it’s raining this treadmill is perfect for me . That was my main reason for my purchase
Overall the treadmill is really good , you can feel the good quality ,like it counts your steps distance and minutes.
I love the phone holder you can watch your favourite programmes.
I gave away the big one I have it was stored in the garage .
I really love and enjoy Mobvoi products , they always impress me with innovation.
Have been using it since March 3-4 times a week and have gone from being a complete beginner to running an hour. Folds perfectly, it’s stable and comfortable. No problems with it at all. 100% recommend.
Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Nice and compact, it fit in my bedroom. Minimum noise and very sturdy. Great for the price. It is very, very heavy, so if you’re planning on taking it up a flight of stairs, you will need help!
Few small issues with this treadmill, if you are short of space you have to keep adding and removing the hand bars to flatpack this unit also you cannot slide it under the sofa side ways as wheels are at the motor end, not on the sides pushing pulling needs to be done at no more than 45 degrees or it scrapes on the floor, voice from speaker is loud but command inaudible. How to oil the belt is explained and picture is of really bad quality needs better manual and better maintenance information, is sturdy and easy to use app not available or working on apple
Bought it as I couldn’t manage time going to a gym or running outdoor due to work and childcare. After reading all the reviews (positive and negative) I decided to buy this product to try out. It arrived the next day, already assembled so didn’t do much to put it up and went for a quick run to test. Have to admit it is quiet and run smoothly.
After a few days I noticed that the running started yo deviate from the centre so I followed the (not very good written) instructions to adjust it back to the centre (using the screw provided) but it didn’t improve much. As soon as I got on and ran at a higher speed the bell started deviate again, until I found out that my floor is not very flat so I adjust the middle legs and it seems the bell stay at the centre. So far so good and quite please with the product. Read number of negative reviews and cautious that it may break after sometimes but so far it seems working in the right order. Would recommend to buy it, particularly if you live in a small house without much space and this could be the option.
It is quite heavy to move around but my recommendation is to find a place and leave it there as permanent place and only move it if needed as the legs have to be adjusted according to the floor.
I wanted a walking pad and so far this has not disappointed. I have even started couch to 5k and so have done a slow jog. I haven’t attached the handles as if I do I can’t see how it would fold away? It also weighs a ton so I haven’t tried to store it anywhere yet! But very impressed with the display and quality of the product.
I recently purchased this treadmill to help me get fitter and lose some weight.
When researching the market the Mobvoi Treadmill Pro was perfect. It is streamline, so easy to use at home, it fits neatly into the corner of any room, which means we can leave it standing out of the way and exercise daily, no excuses! The price point was great too, so now I can exercise guilt free in the comfort of my own home.
Storage:
When not in use it folds away and is flat enough to store under a bed or propped up against the wall.
It’s very simple to wheel it with the built in casters and move it into position.
The arm then can be unlocked with a simple lever and sturdily locked into place.
I’ve been impressed with how solid it is once unfolded and even though I’m close to the machines limit have not had any issues.
Functions:
Motivation has always been an issue for me and being a lover of tech I like the fact you can easily pair the phone with your watch and get all the information you need on that, this can then be synced to your favourite fitness app for tracking.
I also tried out the virtual training which uses the Bluetooth function to pair the device with your phone and you can then have the app control the treadmill and show you your stats. The phone bracket attached is nicely designed and hold the phone solidly in place.
If you aren’t using the phone you can control the speed using the buttons on the device which are nice and big and easily controlled whilst running.
There is also a remote included which is particularly useful if using in walking mode with the unit folded down.
For safety there is a quick release magnetic safety clip which stops the device if pulled off.
In summary I would recommend this product to anyone starting out on their exercise journey. Great price and great product. Thanks Mobvoi
I’ve been after a treadmill for a long time but could never justify the cost. 3.5k for a peleton seemed ridiculous but could a 350 one do the job?
The answer is yes, I just needed something to get my body moving to help with my arthritis and this does it simply and effectively
I have a watch made by the same manufacturer and it synced immediately after I’d installed the treadmill app and my times and performance were all recorded and synced.
It is very heavy, presumably because the electric motor is very powerful and it took two of us to get it upstairs. Once unboxed though there are wheels at the heavy end to move it on a flat surface with ease.
There are arms you can fit, but if you want to fold it flat you have to remove them so I’ve not bothered. It also restricts the speed if folded flat for under desk walking which seems sensible.
It comes with a good selection of workouts that start very gently and move up in difficulty from there, nice to see.
It’s very quiet to use and you can rest a phone or tablet on a little stand, which is the only thing that about it which I’d say could be improved. It works, but just doesn’t look and feel of the same quality as the rest of the product.
All in all a great product, just what I needed and now have no excuses for not exercising whatever the weather.
I’m a keen runner having ran 19 marathons, and wanted this to keep me going on rainy days and also be available for my family to use. Really pleasantly surprised at the really good build quality and features of this treadmill. As you can see from the pictures I don’t have much space in my lounge but this fits in really well and allows the whole family to exercise as and when required.
The phone/tablet stand coupled with the built in Bluetooth speaker is great for taking your mind off the exercise and binging some Netflix (or should I say amazon prime tv!).
The controls are super clear to use and the lights are clear and bright. There are a bunch of programmes and two sets of screens, on on the handle frame and one on the base. These flip through calories burned, distance, steps and speed. All super easy to just get on and get going. Definitely recommended – I know you can spend much more on treadmills, which makes ones that are lower in cost like this seem a concern – but this really is a great value good quality item.
Having done what most of us have done following the pandemic, I have put on quite a bit of weight, so was looking for something I could do at home to try and shift it.
I’ve looked at Treadmills before and always been put off by their bulk and how difficult they are to store when not in use. I decided on this one following an email from Mobvoi about the TicWatch I already own and how they can be linked to automatically track your workout using the health sensors in the watch as part of your exercise routine. Now I’m usually sceptical about these kinds of things but I have to say they really do work together VERY well, literally download the app on your watch, accept a few permissions and away you go it’s that simple.
The treadmill itself comes really well packaged and the Amazon delivery drivers even offered to bring it into the house for me. Opening it up I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of “assembly required”, you can take it out of the box plug it in and get going. Although if you do want to attach the accessories (arms and phone holder) you have the tools included to do this quicky and easily.
So on to operation… The inbuilt programs/workouts are pretty standard but easily selected allowing for a reasonable choice of workout if you want to do something more than just get on and run, which if I’m honest is my go-to way of exercising. The noise factor I had been warned about when looking for a treadmill is nowhere near as loud as I was expecting, it is absolutely within the range of being able to have the TV on at the same time as taking a run without it needing to deafen the entire house, even with our wooden floors the noise is really quiet.
Storing the treadmill is really easy, there is a quick release lever which unlocks the support/safety rail to fold it flat and whilst this is tight to operate it does give a real strength to the rail that you would want. As mentioned, if you want to fold it flat you will need to leave off the side “arms” but these don’t really add anything for me so they have stayed off mine. Folded flat you can actually still use the treadmill but only at a 4km/h walking pace, which my wife likes to use when working from home with her standing desk so a real bonus there.
Small considerations:
* If you like me want to fold it away or use it without the safety bar up then you need to use tools to remove the arms (or leave them off, like I have), so it’s not quite as quick to pack away like that.
* Would be nice to be able to change the distance/speed to miles/mph as that is the way I am used to running (distance in miles), but it’s not a show stopper.
Over all though, I’m very happy with my purchase and would happily recommend the T4000 to anyone looking for an easy to store easy to use treadmill.
So, first impressions. This is a very solid unit and is very heavy, certainly well built. I’ve tested the watch app on a couple of Tic Watches and also was pleased that it works well on my Google Pixel watch too. The app records fitness data and also passes your heart rate to the display on the treadmill.
The treadmill itself works in 2 positions. With the main bar down it will only work at walking pace for obvious safety reasons, in this mode you can use the supplied remote control for stop/start and speed. There is also a screen displaying current data on the front of the platform, just next to the built in bluetooth speaker.
Once the bar is raised to it’s upright position you then have access to the full control panel and display and the machine will now go up to running speeds.
There is also a safety cord which has to be attached magnetically to the machine for it to run which will stop the machine as soon as the connection is broken.
All in all this is a good solid machine which does exactly what it says on the tin. App works well and connects quickly from watch to display. Bluetooth speaker has standard call functions as well.
Good price as well !
I recently purchased the Mobvoi Treadmill, and I have to say, it’s been the perfect fit for me. When I first saw the treadmill, I imagined that I could use it in the garage for running and move it to another room to walk and work. However, I quickly realised that it’s too heavy to move from room to room. Nevertheless, the treadmill is compact and easy to store, making it perfect for folding and storing in the same room.
The treadmill is powerful enough to provide a full workout, and I’ve been able to achieve my fitness goals more easily since I started using it. I’ve been trying out a well-known exercise service, and even without incline, I’ve been getting a great workout. The max speed is plenty fast for my level of fitness.
Setting up the treadmill was a breeze, and I love how easy it is to store and put away. The display is good, and it even links with my smartwatch to show my heart rate during my workouts. As always, Mobvoi offers fantastic value, and I highly recommend keeping an eye out for any offers.
There are a couple of minor issues. The remote control can be a bit temperamental, but I don’t use it much, so it’s not a big deal for me. The button layout is okay, I did accidentally press “stop” instead of “minus” once. The phone holder works as expected, a tablet will not fit on it.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend the Mobvoi Treadmill. I think its excellent value aimed at anyone looking to save money without sacrificing quality.
I bought this treadmill as I wanted to get into running and I don’t have any experience so thought this would be a good way to build up my fitness and I can do it at home rather than having to go out in the winter weather.
The treadmill was pretty easy to assemble and didn’t take us too long. It’s sturdy too. I’ve only ever used a treadmill in the gym and they’re really big and bulky but this is nice and compact but doesn’t wobble or move about when walking/jogging. It’s foldable too but ours is in the garage so no need to store it away but would be handy if it was in a bedroom. There are wheels on one end which has been handy for moving it around to get the right spot for it in the garage.
I generally start off walking to get warmed up and then pick up the speed to a fast walk then to a jog. I usually wait until my daughter has gone to bed and found that this is pretty quiet so doesn’t wake her up which is a bonus. My husband has even started using it too. I’m 5’9 and he’s 5’10 and we find the length of the belt pretty good for our heights.
We got the black one and it looks really good. There’s a phone stand in the middle above the control panel which is great for holding your phone and you can connect it to the built in speaker. The control panel is really simple to use. Big buttons are easy to press when you are jogging. Your stats come up on the screen in front of you and there’s also a small screen at the front of the belt which is handy if you’re looking down to see your stats. You also get a small handy remote control which you can use if you want but I generally just use the buttons in front of me.
I’m really pleased with the treadmill and feel like it’s sturdy and can handle what we’re throwing at it and it’s a lot cheaper than other options we were looking at which didn’t have as good a spec as this one.
With the purse strings getting tighter and tighter at the moment I decided to cancel my gym membership and look into a basic home gym setup. This treadmill looked the ideal first step where it is said to fit under a sofa so wont take up a huge amount of space when not in use.
The treadmill weighs over 30kg so would recommend 2 people lift it when its delivered and moving it to its planned location. Unpacking was easy 90% of the treadmill is already assembled so again would need 2 people to lift out of the box but once it’s out there are wheels on one end so can be lifted and pushed around.
It took about 20 minutes from unpacking to starting to use the treadmill and its simple to start using as there only 5 buttons on the machine and they are quite self explanatory. There are a lot of pre-set exercises as well to mix up your workout.
The treadmill is quiet when using it at speeds below 5Km/h but as you get above 8Km it does get louder but similar levels to what you would get from a treadmill in a gym.
The phone holder has a good grip on the phone in landscape mode, it’s a shame it isn’t bigger so that a tablet could be used for a bigger screen. I guess this would be a job for the 3d printer to knock something up.
Also the manual says it can connect to a watch that uses android wear unfortunately my watch although a tic watch doesn’t have android wear installed so was unable to test this feature.
Overall I have really enjoyed using the treadmill and glad I bought i
I am pretty pleased with this product so far, after using it for a few weeks! It is a little noisy, but you get used to the sound with this product. Works under standing desks as a walking pad, but you do need the handle bit up to run it for more than 5mins at a time.
When you try to use it as a walking pad with the handle set as down, it turns off after 5 mins; so you need to constantly keep starting it up again (I think it’s because the handle has touchscreen controls on it, and the floor causes it to turn off?)
Product comes with a remote to turn it on/off, and adjust the speed. However you can adjust this on the pull up handle too, which is good!
It’s not too heavy; i’m a 5ft 2″ lady, and I can manoeuvre it around my office pretty easily! So it’s easy to put out and set-up.
You can play music through the treadmill via Bluetooth connection from your phone, but the speaker is subpar; I wouldn’t recommend using the speakers unless you have no other alternatives.
I would recommend this product as a great budget treadmill!
Pretty decent machine. Well made.
However, it’s small. The narrowness is fine, but the short length means any lapse in pace will see it throwing you off. I find myself staring at my feet to make sure I’m in the right spot. Of course, this destroys my form but it does rather explain why there’s a second display down there. My house is also small, so I guess this is what I’ll have to put up with.
Also – it only displays speed in km/h. It doesn’t seem to display pace (i.e. m/km). Forget about imperial units.
Overall very pleased as this is the ideal size and affordable price, arrived promptly a well packed.
Has been working well since I purchesed this on 18th October 2022, however now in January and there seems to be an annoying high pitched rattle type sound coming from the front of the machine where I assume the motor is held, possibly a bearing has gone or something, it’s still working fine, but I have disposed of all of the packaging now so not sure quite where I would stand regarding warranty and return as this would be expensive given the weight.
I bought this during the cold snap to aid in my recovery from Covid. It’s not always pleasant, or safe for walking, when the pavements are icy.
It is heavy, and cumbersome in the box, so unless you’re confident you can lift it, ask the delivery people to take it to the room where you’re setting it up.
Assembly took no time at all, 5-10 mins max as because the treadmill folds, there is very little to do apart from install the phone holder and hand rests.
Once you’ve finished setting up, it’s a simple case of downloading the Mobvoi Treadmill app to your phone or watch. For people who like to listen to music whilst they exercise, there is a built in Bluetooth speaker. There is a red clip, for safety in case you come off of the treadmill. It’s held in place by a magnet, if this comes away, the treadmill stops.
There is a remote control, but I found using the on board consol a better way to go, this would also be how I would use a treadmill in a gym. So it just made sense, however, others may prefer the remote.
The treadmill will go up to a maximum speed of 12kph, which should be enough for most peoples requirements for exercising at home.
I recently purchased the Mobvoi Home Treadmill Pro and am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The treadmill arrived well-packaged and included all necessary tools, an instruction manual, an emergency clip, and a remote control. Assembly was relatively easy and took no more than 20 minutes. However, it is important to note that the treadmill is a large boxed item and will require two people to move and carry around the house.
One of the things I appreciate about this treadmill is that it is made of high-quality hard plastic/metal material, ensuring its durability and robustness. The rubberized and slightly padded surface not only reduces noise while running or walking, but also provides comfort for barefoot use. Additionally, it features an emergency switch that can stop the treadmill immediately in case of a fall, a feature that I find reassuring.
The treadmill is easy to use and customize to personal preferences with adjustable speed and program options, with a maximum speed of 12KM/H. The treadmill also works when folded flat and switches to walking mode with a maximum speed of 4KM/H. The two wheels make it easy to move around the room and it can be folded flat and stored under the bed if space is limited. The treadmill has a weight capacity of up to 120 kg, making it suitable for users of a wide range of weight.
The display is easy to read, showing speed level, time, and steps taken. It also has a mobile phone holder that can accommodate most phones. The treadmill also has a Bluetooth loud speaker that can be paired with any device. Furthermore, the treadmill is compatible with the Mobvoi Ticwatch smartwatch. Once paired, it connects to both the phone and smartwatch automatically and tracks my workout.
All in all a great product.
I was so excited to get this treadmil. But my exercise is really distrupted. Belt keep sliting into left and making unpleasant sound once its touching part of treadmil. Thought i may be walking wrong but it is happening once treadmil is on without anyone walking on top. If not this issue this product would be amazing as doesnt take much space in the room, so Perfect for home office.
Edited:
I researched online about similar issues people had and there was a way to fix it. Which i am happy about as this is not going left anymore. However wasnt straight forward.
Changing rating from 1 to 4.
Treadmill I feel is good quality, easy to fold up down the handles, however it is very heavy, and this makes it a struggle to move on my own as a woman. I have to shuffle it from side to side and then use the wheels, as we don’t have a lot of room , we store it in a cupboard. The main reason I got it was for this very reason, we don’t have room to let it stay out . It had Bluetooth which is good, I don’t link it to my watch etc so can’t comment. I do some running, and at the start it was jerking/slipping, which made me uncomfortable and not a lot of faith Incase I fell out , so I applied some more silicone to the belt which helped, also my belt needed adjusting it was over to one side and rubbing / making noise . Once I got all this sorted , I do like it , so far so good , but it’s only been a few weeks
Works great, not noisy the only issue I have is that it’s heavier than thought so it can be a struggle to keep getting out to assemble. Apart from that very happy with purchase.
Folder able treadmill, it doesn’t have my weight to it, it’s a 1 person job to fold and put away and easily stored away.
Bought it to replace my old one which was a citysport walking treadmill only up to 6km/h, this one is way more powerful and fast. Overall very good quality for the price but could do better with the English manual and programs. Good thing is literally you don’t need to assemble it. Just bought last week until now I’m pretty happy with it.
Worked well 10 mths on but then packed in and was not continually used during that period. Not good enough, not a cheap item.
The Mobvoi Home Treadmill really is brilliant. Easy to build and setup, it was going within 20minutes. So compact, folds and slides under the bed, taking up no room at all and eliminating the potential of it becoming an expensive clothes horse (like my exercise bike). Adjusting the speed via the remote or machine itself is so responsive and it is insanely quiet. The Bluetooth speaker is an excellent addition, superb crystal clear sound. It connects seamlessly to various running apps via phone or smart TV, helping to motivate and provide variety for a running experience. being 6ft, I was concerned about a shorter tread but I needed have been. I can go from a leisurely walk to a full sprint without worrying about the length of my stride. All in all, a fab piece of kit that meets all my needs without taking up space in my home.
Mobvoi have come to stay with excellent products that come from them.
The Mobvoi Home Threadmill Pro did not disappoint at all.
Delivery was quick and to assemble it up was so easy. The wheels at the front ensures that moving it from place to another is not a burdensome task.
I have been working from home for over two years now and with physical activitivies is lacking, it was time to find a way to get active again and I wanted a not too expensive, not too big and decent threadmill.
I am a happy onwer of different Mobvoi products (earbuds, wrist watches etc) and when I saw the Mobvoi Home Threadmill Pro during my search for a threadmill, I was quick to order one and I must confess, I am not disappointment one bit.
It doesn’t take up too much space and can be moved around or stored away easily if need be.
Ability to connect to bluetooth speaker on the threadmil was good. Speakers are not the best but at the right volume, it does the job well.
The threadmill is sleek and smooth and does not make much noise apart from the sound of running feet.
Overall, everything is superb on the threadmill and I am so glad I chose Mobvoi again.
Nice and compact. I used to walk three days a week on this machine with no issues so far. Sometimes I had to adjust the running pad if I need to increase my walking speed. It lies neatly on the floor and not bulky like old treadmills. Only issue with this machine is when folding down the bar one need to unscrew the handle bars on both side which takes some time to do this after every exercise.
So, after a challenging time giving up smoking, I started to notice an increase in weight (I mean, who doesn’t!) Based on this, I started looking at ways I could increase my physical activities without actually having to pay stupid money for gym memberships and also without having to change too much of my daily routine. A treadmill was the obvious answer.
Entering the market of treadmills was actually quite daunting. Different modes, different features, portability/moveability… Then I found this one! Made by Mobvoi, a brand I trust, this treadmill had everything I was looking for. Seemed a no brainer!
Ordered via Amazon as it is my preferred marketplace, I was told delivery was 7 – 10 days. By day 3 I had tracking information, by day 4 it had arrived! Delivery was perfect, delivery guys bringing a very heavy package up my stairs and into my flat. Faultless service.
Unboxing was a doddle, well packaged and easy to assemble without the instructions. Not much too it really, 6 screws, tools included. A quick read through the manual anyway, to cover off the safety and maintenance aspect (I didn’t know if it needed wearing in or anything).
Firstly, setup in my living room to test. Plugged in and clipped the safety stap on and was greeted by a array of lights and a speaker telling me Bluetooth mode was enabled. The manual says to start the treadmill with nothing on the belt and then start walking, which I did – Perfect.
Increased the speed manually over a period of 10 minutes and got to around 8.5 before I was out of puff. Realised how unfit I was. Then the wife saw what had bought. Gulp. She was a little disapproving, but was keen to try herself. Yep, she certainly is fitter than me! Then ensued the conversation of where this treadmill was going to go. I live in a 2 bedroom flat, with two children and space is a premium. Yet, with this treadmill, having the ability to lower the frame down means it can be stored without issue and without blocking access to other furniture when not in use.
We then moved the treadmill to it’s final permanent location (bedroom) and I have decided to use the treadmill for 30 minutes each morning. Now, leaving in an upstairs flat, I was concerned about the noise for my fellow flat downstairs. Nothing. They hear nothing. The motor is really quiet with the only relative noise being the footsteps of running.
During the almost month I have owned this treadmill I have used to each and every day without fail. Now able to complete a 30minute period without running out of puff to much!
The feature set is perfect – You can select between 20 pre-set programs, each offering their own unique set of speeds during the timeframe. You can set just a “time”, in which you can manually adjust the speed (and this treadmill even includes a remote to adjust the speed!) You can select “KM’s”, so you can run for a certain amount of KM’s, or “Calories” to burn a set amount of calories. You can also use the treadmill as a walking treadmill – Ideal if you have a standing desk. Simply remove the bar and away you go.
The information provided is informative, the screen is colourful, easy to understand and uses basic colours so you can work out what is going on quickly. A second screen is near the speaker, which allows you to see real basic information (speed and step count) quickly if you are looking down.
The safety strap is as you would expect – Snaps the motor within 1 second of the magnet being pulled. Very nice, very quick and I have enough trust that I have let my eldest child start to use the treadmill (under supervision) without worry.
As it’s a Mobvoi treadmill, it actually embeds into my TicWatch Pro perfectly, with a companion app. Once installed, the treadmill and watch instantly pair and displays my heartrate on the treadmill. It records the session and then imports that into my app on my phone which shows my activity. The phone holder perfectly holds my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, which is quite a big phone and then while the inbuilt bluetooth speaker isn’t anything to boast about, it’s perfect the the use.
The manual is perfect – Teaching how to adjust the belt, keeping the treadmill is perfect working order, safety tips, warm up instructions (for yourself, not the treadmill). Was quite a good read once to help me get settled into something I had never ventured into before.
Small things I would change:
– adjust the “KM’s” to “Miles”. Being in the UK, I would rather be able to look at the milage I have run in miles, not KM’s.
– A little more information on the pre-programmed sessions
– Although you can lower the “frame”, the arms are fixed. This could be improved by making the arms quick released so the treadmill can be stored completely flat (see pictures)
Overall, a perfect treadmill that I would highly recommend for all beginners to use, or professionals looking for a small, compact treadmill to fit smaller properties without room.
I bought the treadmill because I was looking for equipment that will not be complicated to use and not take too much space. Fortunately the Mobvoi Treadmill Pro met my needs. Very easy to set up, I did set it up without even looking at the manual. It connected brilliantly with Zwift virtual running app on my phone and sync well with mobvoi treadmill app on my Ticwatch . Nice to see my avatar running and walking on the screen.
Another amazing function on the treadmill, is you can pause running or walking activity and resume from where you have stopped. The step counting on the display is also brilliant, the treadmill helps to meet 10,000 daily steps target. It is so amazing how you could easily store it away under the sofa.
The inbuilt Bluetooth speaker is also great, you can listen to music while running or walking.
If you are looking for a simple and compact treadmill, Mobvoi treadmill will not let you down.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a treadmill so reasonably priced but I am pleasantly surprised. All I wanted was something that wasn’t going to take up too much space, be easy for me to assemble and allow me to have a brisk walk and jog indoors when the weather is poor. Happily, this fulfils all these requirements and actually feels sturdier than I was expecting. It was up and running within minutes of being received. The bluetooth speaker is really quite good too so listening to my music helps pass the time when working out.
Very easy to put together and operate. I didn’t add the arms as there’s no need for them and this means I can quickly fold it up to put it out of the way if I want to. I’m 5’10” and the running space is fine for me to attempt couch to 5k but probably wouldn’t be enough for serious runners with long strides. Overall I’m very pleased with such a smart, neat, handy machine that means I don’t have to run in public!
This is the upgrade of my reebok bike. this is the Mobvoi treadmill pro version, it arrived on time as scheduled, and I am using this, for now, one week, the product is really very good quality build and it comes with almost assembled. only handled bars are there to assemble. I will recommend to anyone to buy this Machine on the basis of the following features.
– Quality: very strong built quality, unlike some lightweight and cheap quality
-Price: the company has kept a very low-profit margin as compared to other machines,
– Performance: very quiet silent motor and run very smoothly.
– Display/looks: The display of the digital monitor is so good like the colors and brightness. all required features are built like distance, speed, etc. please download an app called “Mobvoi treadmill”. for fully utilizing the Bluetooth function and syncing to your smartwatch.
– size: very easy to fold and store in under your furniture.
I will add some more comments next week after using further exercise features.
great treadmill, 12 km / h maximum speed is sufficient for training at home, the running belt is the right size, it is quiet my cats are not afraid of it, it has a nice LED display and the remote control is very practical, it was easy to fold and fits under mine sofa
One of the best treadmills I have ever had. Very easy to assemble. Very good quality and value for money. The size of it is just right. Not too big and not too small. I am 6’5” and I am very comfy using it. Very easy to store and put out of the way if not in use.
As for the features. Syncing with my phone and watch was simple and straightforward. Bluetooth speakers are good quality and I find myself using them rather than having headphones all the time.
Also, this treadmill can have the sides taken down and can be used while working at the higher desk, to keep your steps stacking up 🙂
Overall, this is a very goof treadmill, and me and my family are really looking forward to using it every day 🙂
I ordered the Mobvoi Treadmill as I love to walk but am definitely a fair weather walker! With the nights drawing in I thought a treadmill would be great so I ordered this one as it was a good price and just what I was looking for. It was very easy to assemble, you just have to add the handrails to it.
It is very simple to just hop on the treadmill and start walking, you simply turn it on, set to the speed you would like and start walking. It records the distance, number of steps etc.
The machine quiet compared to other treadmills I’ve used. You can play music through the speakers, which is great as personally I prefer this to the use of earphones and I can then hear others around me when needed and the door!
I like that you don’t have to have the frame of the tread mill up in walking mode as I store it under and sofa so it is quick and easy to get out and put after after.
Over all a great treadmill for the price, I’m very pleased with it.
I would recommend to anyone looking for a treadmill to purchase this one
Really easy to setup and use. The fact you can fold it means we can store under the sofa and bring out when needed. Walking on it is a breeze as you don’t even need to unfold it. Speed is good and comes with a remote so you can change it without needing to touch the device mid run.
Handy that it syncs to your watch (I have a tic watch) and monitors heart rate and stores data as well as displays this on the device too.
Has a nice phone holder and the Bluetooth means you can be hands free and watch a tv show or listen to music.
Used it every day since purchasing and cant fault it so far.
This is the first treadmill I have ever owned and had never really thought much about treadmill requirements until recently, but I can honestly say that I have been pleasantly surprised with the Home Treadmill Pro.
Below are the things that impressed me most and some points that could be improved on.
Pros:
– Easy setup. This treadmill was really easy to get out of the box and sync to my phone. It was just a few simple steps which made the process less stressful.
– Size of belt. I found that the belt size you have to run on was nice and wide, so I didn’t have to worry too much where I was stepping.
– Bluetooth speakers. These are great sounding speakers. These were great motivators for me and at no point did the connection drop and they never sounded flat.
– Storage. This treadmill is so easy and practical. I am storing it underneath my sofa. Whenever I want to use it, I just need to flip the arms up and plug it in.
– Modes. So, with me being an absolute beginner I found it good that there were not too many different modes to choose from. I know this could be an issue for some but for me it was ideal.
– Sync to my TicWatch. I own a TicWatch Pro 3 and the data was synced straight to my Mobvoi app. I found great to track my results and give me targets.
Cons:
– Power cable. It was a little on the short side which meant I had to make sure I was close enough to a socket which wasn’t always easy.
– Remote control. Sometimes this was a little unresponsive but could have just been me.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this unless you are a hardcore runner after feature rich modes.
I bought this as a replacement to the Mobvoi Home Treadmill (not this new Pro model), which I’ve had during and since lockdown and had decided to upgrade.
Basic mechanics look the same, but with considerable improvements to the noise, display and integration features. It is very quiet now (previous version wasn’t that loud to begin with), and the new display is a great addition, allowing you to track the usual speed and time, as well as accurately count steps and (when synced with your Wear OS watch) your heart rate.
The sync to watch feature means the workout is automatically (and accurately) linked to your fitness tracker app (mine is Google Fit), overcoming one of the annoying issues of a treadmill run / walk not being accurately tracked in fitness apps automatically or accurately.
The previous version held up really well, being used 3-4 times a week and living the rest of its life folded up under the sofa. This is of as good or better build quality, being solid and well made but also not too large or heavy to be moved around on your own. Putting it up or down is a very simple, quick and effortless process.
It does an excellent job, and great value, whether you choose use it as a walker or running treadmill when the weather is grim outside.
I got this treadmill as I work from home quite often nowadays and I want to keep myself fit and healthy. For that purpose I can definitely recommend it!
It has two different modes, one that’s perfect for keeping under my standing desk, and that allows me to walk at a slow pace as I’m working, and so far I’ve found the speed to be ideal for me to be able to focus on my work and not have any issues falling off or losing balance. I’ve included a video showing the walking speed at 2, which is 1 above the minimum speed.
It also has a second mode that allows it to go faster when you fold the arm bar up, as seen in some of the photos. I’ve not needed to attach the hand rests yet, but you can attach those if you prefer more to hold onto. The speeds in this mode are ideal for jogging and keeping fitter with a faster pace. It’s super easy to fold the arm bar up and it isn’t heavy at all.
Overall, I definitely recommend this treadmill for anyone wanting to get fitter, especially if you work from home and want a walking pace as well as the option of faster paced workouts. It’s brilliant, well worth the money!
Arrived in good time and well packaged. Straight forward set up, only a couple of items requiring assembly. Tools included are well made and can be used to assemble and adjust the unit which makes a change from tools usually included with an item. Also included two bottles of the silicone oil for the ongoing maintenance of the unit. The instruction booklet was easy to follow. When adding the mobvoi app for my watch I found that a Google search and install was easier than trying to install the app directly from my watch.
Treadmill is easy to use, with a clear display. Linked to my Mobvoi watch without any issues, once app had been downloaded, so was able to monitor my heart rate whilst using the treadmill. Well constructed and really pleased with my purchase
I purchased this treadmill for the bargain price of 293! It does everything its supposed to, I’ve used it for a couple of long walks and did my first run on it today. I’m 5ft 2 and it’s perfect for my stride. I fold it and put it under my sofa for storage, it is definitely not light to maneuver but I love the fact I can put it out the way. I would recommend using some sort of mat or rug underneath it, I find it vibrates too much without, my flooring is tile. I bought this mainly for when the weather is bad so I can keep doing my exercise. Hopefully I can get a few years out of it!
I would recommend this treadmill. I looked at so many. I use it for walking mainly not running. It’s a good size for use in living room or any other room without taking up too much space. It comes built. You just have to unfold it and attach the handles with the tool provide. Very easy to do. It feels sturdy under your feet. It isn’t too noisy. On the display bar all you use is start and stop. I would recommend using the remote control to go up and down speeds. If you use the bar it can increase all the way. So use the remote. The other lights on the bar are just indicators. So far I am loving it and really happy with the purchase. It is exactly what I was looking for and a good price. I paid 340. Its back up in price now.
This product is exactly what you expect for the money. I wouldn’t use it for running, but it is great for under a standing desk.
This review is after about four hours of use.
Note that the whole thing doesn’t fold, the arm portion just folds down. It does still work with that part down, so it fits nicely under a standing desk. The belt may feel narrow if you’re used to a gym width treadmill.
The belt will shift if you step off to the sides. I can see how this may cause tracking issues for the belt if you make a habit of it instead of getting on and off the back.
The speaker is loud but not great quality. The remote is really nice while working.
I love my treadmill and use it while working. It’s still early days so yet to see its durability over time. My husband put it up and it seemed fairly straight forward. It isn’t easy to fold down as the handles are screwed in so if you want to fold it down you’d need to unscrew them or keep them off. This isn’t an issue for me as it’s now staying in one place. I love the speaker feature and the sound is good. For the price I do think it should be cheaper however we’ll see if it stands the test of time. Love that I can now walk and work as I work from home!
Needed something compact to use at home to keep my fitness levels up during upper arm injury and not able to do my regular CrossFit. This fits the bill. Easy to set up and smooth running and easy to fold down for storage. Speed up to 12kph which is fine for me. I particularly like that the distance and time stops when you stand on the sides if you need a drink or wipe down then continues when you start again so the actual time and distance you do is accurate. Haven’t attached the phone stand as it arrived broken (picture attached) so double check all parts. Need a magnifying glass to read the instructions but very little assembly needed. Although I have Amazon prime had to pay 10 for a specific time slot as I didn’t want to stay in all day waiting for the delivery.
Purchased this for steady exercise – I am actually using this quite regularly – unlike some of the other exercise products I have owned. Assembly wasn’t that simple when putting the side arms on. If you have to keep taking these off to fold it flat, it could be an issue. Instructions are basic.
The item itself seems good for the money – nice and simple, a good floor read-out. Good for walking and jogging, reaching some decent speeds. No incline but that ain’t a problem for me personally. One negative is that sometimes the + and – buttons on the console don’t seem quite as responsive as they should be. The remote can be used for this but then you are jogging holding it because if you put it on the phone holder the vibrations cause it to fall off. There was a screw missing from the back of the remote which Amazon quickly sorted. In summary a good item – glad I bought it.
I was looking for a treadmill for quick, hassle free, exercises. I have quite a few Mobvoi products already so buying a Mobvoi treadmill was an easy choice for me.
I chose this treadmill for the dimensions and specifications plus, as I said previously, the Mobvoi brand which I trust.
I was pleasantly surprised the delivery men helped me take it upstairs and to the desired room where it is installed now. The good part is that if you do not want to install the handlebars, you just need to take it out of the box, plug it in and you are good to go.
It has 2 “running” modes: Walking Mode up to 4 km/h and Running Mode up to 12 km/h. Initially I could not see the necessity of having a walking mode, but I realised I can have it slightly under my standing desk, for example, doing some work and exercising.
Moving it around or storing it away is also easy thanks to the straightforward way it folds (just a single folding handle), low weight and the 2 wheels it has at the front.
It is sturdy, does not wobble at all, and the noise level is more than OK. Running at max speed (12 Km/h) is something that I do not do often and just as an FYI you make more noise running at that speed than it does.
It comes with 2 bottles of lubricant for regular maintenance (all treadmills need it), remote control, 2 optional handlebars, phone stand and tools for these extras to be attached.
I have not attached the handlebars because I go from running mode to walking mode quite often. You cannot fold it all the way down when it has the handlebars attached, so keep that in mind.
Controlling the treadmill is done either via the touchscreen on the folding arm or the remote. You will need the remote when in walking mode because after folding you will not have access to the touch screen anymore.
The main display shows you the speed, distance, calories burned and time on the treadmill. The display is clearly visible in both running and walking modes. Next to the display is the Bluetooth speaker that has a decent quality sound so, if you enjoy music and you do not want to use your mobile speaker(s) or headphones, you have that option.
It comes with a safety clip that you can attach to yourself (pants for example) and in case you fall or slip off it shuts down immediately.
After using it daily for about a week or so in both modes, I can say I am a happy customer.
Really pleased with this product. I love walking and I’ve always wanted to get better at jogging, but I’m quite anxious and I don’t particularly enjoy exercising infront of people, so a home treadmill seemed ideal. Also, it rains a lot here so I think in the winter this product will be even more useful.
It was really easy to assemble. I think it’s quite heavy, but I’m 5″3 and a woman. This just meant I needed help getting it upstairs. It’s fine to wheel around once it’s on the right floor.
I’ve only taken the speed up to 6 as I only use it for walking and light jogging. I love the remote and how easy it is to change the speed while you’re using it. I did find it a little noisy at first, but once I started using earphones to listen to my music or TV show that wasn’t an issue.
The belt has slipped a bit, so I’ve had to adjust it a few times, but I wouldn’t count that as a huge inconvenience. Overall, I’d really recommend this treadmill.
Being a keen user of my local gym and exercise classes I decided to add to my home gym equipment with the purchase of a treadmill. I knew of the Mobvoi Treadmill as I have purchased several other Mobvoi products in the past (Ticwatch smart watches that are worn by several member of my close family) so do follow product releases. Comparative reviews looked very good for a device at this price point so my decision was made
The treadmill is relatively heavy on delivery so a two-man approach to initial move and placement is recommended (at least it was for me to save my back!) — my package was carried around the back of the house to the annexe by the delivery drivers and left in the right area for me to unpack which was great.
Packaging was substantial to protect the contents and when I opened the box, all was in place, undamaged and ready to carefully lift out and put in place in my home gym area.
One key criterion for me was a treadmill that was substantial enough for daily use but also relatively easy to move out of the way when more space is required — this is certainly covered by my new purchase. There are wheels underneath the front of the treadmill to ease moving it in and out of place, these work well, and it really is easy to move this machine out of the way if you need to. Initial placement for me is in my annexe where I keep other gym equipment — I may move the treadmill into my office at some point if I decide to try the walking desk idea (and it could slide under my seated desk when not in use in this scenario).
I would certainly describe this treadmill as compact in comparison to some other devices I looked at and I liked the way it could be used as a walking platform with the arm folded away or lift and fix the arm in place and it looks and feels more like a traditional running machine. As I mentioned, in folded position, I am considering setting up a walking desk so I can work and walk at the same time which I think would work well.
I have slightly dodgy knees so most of my aerobic exercise is undertaken at a maximum of fast walking pace. This treadmill goes up to a maximum of between 7 and 8 mph I believe which is more than enough for me. One other comment is that (particularly given my knees), the roller is very comfortable to walk or run on with a nice, cushioned feel to it.
I like the idea of the remote control and use it almost every time I’m on the treadmill — though there are built in controls when you have the front arm in place, I just find it easier to have the control in my pocket ready to use.
The roller when running is surprisingly quiet and feels powerful enough for any use I am likely to put to the test. The only thing missing for me I guess is the option to introduce an incline on the belt — but this I suppose is a sacrifice made in order to make this as slimline and easy to move as it is, so it’s not a major compromise given the use I will be putting the treadmill to.
There are built in Bluetooth speakers and once your phone or tablet is paired, these work pretty well for such small units. That said I generally like a more immersive experience and almost always use my wireless headphones when exercising — but it’s nice to know they are there if needed.
My daughter is more of a runner than me and has loved using our new home treadmill over the last week or so, she had nothing but good things to say — in fact the only issue might be not being able to use it exactly when I want if she is hogging it!
My conclusion: I love this treadmill, it ticks all the boxes for me — well priced, substantial but easy to move, good size without taking up too much space (let’s call it compact), feels like it will last well, stylish (if a treadmill could be considered stylish!), convertible (from walking to running machine). If I had to choose again, I’d choose exactly the same device unless I was going to spend substantially more money – so my take is that you won’t regret purchasing this treadmill and will no doubt enjoy plenty of time on the roller!
My old treadmill is getting a bit long in the tooth so I decided it was time to get a new one and went with this one from Mobvoi. I’ve had a few smart watches from them and I’m really impressed with the brand.
I think the best feature is the ability to fold flat and store under the bed, it’s much lighter than my old one and is much easier to move. It’s very easy to fold using the single handle on the base.
It can be controlled using the remote which is very simple as it only has two buttons or by using the touch sensitive controls along the bar. I think the remote is much easier to use during a run.
The motor is super quiet during walking mode so it would be possible to hold a conversation while it’s on. It is still quiet during running mode but it’s kind of over shadowed by the noise of running in the belt. The treadmill is nice and stable with no bounce.
The display is on the base next to the Bluetooth speaker. It is easy to read while running and cycles between current speed and total workout time.
I think this treadmill is very affordable, it has a low profile which makes it very easy to store. Overall I’m very pleased with it and would definitely recommend it as a home treadmill.
I like running outdoor or indoor and usually go to the gym. I go to gym less frequent nowadays and one of my friends recommended this and I found a chance to try. From the box, the treadmill is already assembled, and you just need to attach phone holder and arm support which takes 5-6 min.
First of all, it is very easy to move. Being heavy and stable was one of my concerns about the treadmills at home. I can’t say it is light or very heavy and when I realised there are wheels located in the front, I easily move from one place to another. Secondly, the foldable arms are great to put it under the sofa or bed. It is very easy to fold using just a single arm. I thought I would get a huge treadmill and hesitated to buy sth like this but when I experience its mobility and practicality, I was so impressed.
The performance is great with this price range. Definitely, no difference with the ones at the gym. It gives adequate firmness. For sure, it does not have a programme but running mode is very simple and that is all I need. Also, it doesn’t work loudly even in high speeds. We have a little toddler and sometimes I use the treadmill when she sleeps. There is a perfect tranquillity and nothing disturbs it.
The led screen is big enough to see when you are running/walking as it is placed on the base. On the dashboard, Mobvoi kept it simple; start stop button, speed -+ button and speed indicator.
Overall, an excellent choice if you want to buy a treadmill. The price is very good and it works great. The metarial is quality and it has a sleek design. You won’t be disappointed.
I spent a long time trying to find the right treadmill for walking at home.
My main criteria:
– Relatively quiet
– Compact storage
– A Range of speed settings
I chose this one after spending wayyyyy too much time analysing reviews far and wide. It has not disappointed. I love it! I use it daily! I assembled it myself in no time – there was basically no assembly required other than the optional phone holder. I chose not to attach the arms as you need to detach them to fold it away – which I do frequently.
It folds down so easily, and can be stored flat or vertically. I responds quickly to the remote and has a huge range of speeds for both walking and running. With a headset on I can even use it while on phone & zoom calls without any sound being transmitted.
The ONLY reason I’m not giving it a 5 is this:
1) I’m just under 5’4, I do not have long legs. I can just about do “long” power walking strides with this belt length but I imagine that anyone over 5’8 perhaps might find it constricting.
2) I doesn’t have incline, which I was aware of before I purchased it, but still would have been great.
3) I would have been nice if the arms didn’t need to be detached to fold it away.
With all that being said, I could not be happier, especially given the price point. Would recommend.
Ive only just got it and used it once, maybe a bit premature to write a review but i love it!
Really easy to assemble although its quite heavy.
I dont know enough about treadmills to say its great value for money but i am impressed.
I was worried it might be too noisey but nobody in the house heard it running. The speaker is loud enough to hear over the machine.
Im hoping to use it everyday so dont plan to have to store it, however when the time comes i want to be able to store it upright. Some youtube reviews have said its fine to do that but since the manufacturers dont mention it as a storing feature im a little hesitant.
Overall im happy with my new purchase and hopeful i will get my moneys worth.
I purchased this treadmill as I suffer from both muscoskeletal and neurological disorders and need to learn how to walk again.
The item came extremely well packaged, both on the interior and the exterior. (The manufacturer definately wants you to receive this in tip top order)
Due to the item and package weight I would recommend a two person lift, although once it’s removed from the packaging it can be wheeled into the desired location quite easily with two handy wheels located in the front.
I found it quite easy to set up, 5 minutes or so which included attaching the arms and smartphone holder. The required tools come in the box.
The machine itself is very sturdy, and it’s evident that both good workmanship and materials have been involved.
If you have an uneven floor there are four adjustable feet, which can be independently tweaked to avoid any wobbles when you get going.
The connection to Bluetooth is very easy and the sound quality is spot on. Very motivational for those who crank up the speed to really get moving, or listening to something more subdued at walking pace.
I’ve only used it at the low speed and the treadmill belt is spot on. Not bouncy at all.
My wife and kids have had it up to higher speeds with no complaints.
It’s quite a quiet machine. In the product summary the manufacturer mentioned low noise – this is accurate.
All in all, this has been one of my best Amazon purchases.
I took quite a while deliberating which treadmill to get as there are just so many on here, so I hope that this review proves useful to others in a similar situation.
The treadmill comes neatly packaged and it’s almost already pre-assembled. The only thing you need to do is attach the handlebars and only if you want to, because it’s not mandatory for it to function. The “assembly” takes less than 5 minutes and everything you need is included. If you plan to fold it on a regular basis to tuck it away, I recommend not attaching the handlebars at all. For safety reasons, it’s up to you of course.
In the folded position (walking mode) the speed goes up to 4 km/h max., which is understandable and to be honest I don’t think I would even want to walk faster than that.
In the unfolded position (running mode) the speed goes up to 12 km/h. For this, the handrail needs to be engaged to support you during your run.
And just to be clear, you can also just walk on it in the unfolded position.
Folding and unfolding is quick and verry easy to do.
The remote is needed in walking mode as the touch control buttons are on the arm that fold down and without it there’s no other way to control the speed or start/stop .
Quality of the speaker is more than OK although I don’t use it that often as I have other means to listen to music in the room where it’s currently installed. If you do need it, it’s there and it does the job.
If anybody wonders, it does come pre-lubricated, and you also get 2 bottles of lubricant. You will need to lubricate it on a regular basis as any other treadmill.
When I started to look for a compact treadmill, I intended to buy one mostly for walking. Verry happy that this one has a walking mode and a running mode.
It’s stable, quieter than expected and easy to use.
I’ve been using it daily for about 2 weeks now and I am a happy user.
A new year means a new resolution to get healthy, and this time I decided to be serious and get a treadmill. The Mobvoi doesn’t break the bank and I have been happy with the company’s hardware since the TicWatch Pro became my primary mobile computing device a few years back.
Featurewise it is impressive for its price point, while it lacks the mechanical incline of expensive units, its compact storage and friendliness for use in small rooms easily makes up for it. Overall I am delighted with the price value of the treadmill and look forward to a decreased waistline!
-The construction is sturdy, with enough cushioning to avoid ankle pain, without feeling unstable. Speed 5/12 is enough to get me jogging, and 7 gets me out of breath so there is a lot of headroom to improve. The runway is compact, but I am 5’11” and it handles my gait at full speed with room to spare. There is an screen on the base which relays time, distance, calories and speed in a cycle, visible even when the unit is folded down into compact mode. At low walking speeds the motor is quiet enough that I was able to have a walking zoom meeting on it without disturbance (microphone sensitivity means your mileage may vary).
-As mentioned before, the storage is excellent; the control bar folds up and down on a heavy, sturdy locking arm (pictured) and then the unit is flat enough to slide under my sofa. Castor wheels at the base (pictured) make it easy to roll around, although you do need to allow extra height for lift because the wheels will not touch the ground and allow it to move when the unit is flat (for obvious safety reasons). This means it will not fit into very tight fit spaces as the unit weighs 15kg and does not slide. When tested under a normal height bed there was plenty of room to stow and deploy with ease.
-I’ve done several hour long sessions over the weekend and find the run smooth and comfortable, the additional bluetooth speaker is nice when using the phone dock while running. As audiophiles will expect, while it is not a challenger to good earbuds, it does give a quick and easy way to get a high energy music stream blasting while you run.
I bought this machine for the use of my wife and daughter. The primary reason to have it at home is COVID restriction and capricious weather condition that drove us to look for safe, reliable and of course economical way of keeping oneself fit. Decision to buy the Mobvoi tread mill was done after careful reading of the reviews posted on Amazon and comparison made with other treadmill available on amazon and other websites.
After 20 hours of use, I would say we are happy with our decision to have this tread mill. Per my wife feedback, she did 20 miles run on the machine last week and felt machine performance superb just like any pro machine in the Gym. This is certainly reliable alternate for those who love to complete their workout routine regularly without the known/unknown hassles.
I must say, Machine installation was super straight that was the beginning of happy moments!!! Once taken out from the box simple intuitive steps such as identifying the space where machine should be placed, attentive look at the treadmill manual completed the machine assembly in just about 15-20 mnts (ideally it needs two people as its heavy and at the same time care has to be applied while grounding it properly).
Few of the observation which is good to mention:
* The ease with which you can unfold the machine. It couldn’t be easier to change it from a folded position to a ready to run position. A bonus is that you can use it as a walking machine when folded.
* Once you turn the machine on, you are reminded to use the safety clip which is good. The operations are very easy; the dashboard has a start stop button, 12 speed indicators and a speed +- button on the right. On the base is a nice clear display alternating between speed, time and calories.
* Another lovely feature of this machine is the Bluetooth connection to your phone and remote for speed change with switch on switch off function. You can easily connect the phone ad play music through the machine speaker. The machine itself is surprisingly quiet and so you can hear the music. The phone itself can be held in a holder on top of the main dashboard.
* Running on this machine is a delight though some of the speed control initially was not clear to my wife and daughter, however they looked through the machine and manual and picked it up. This machine does not have incline levels as we normally see in the Gym(I will not compare this machine with Gym Treadmills), this certainly cannot be deterrent to any one’s workout routine. Machine gives a good firmness underfoot with just enough bounce to go easy on your joints. Besides the feeling of tiredness, she has not reported any other aches or muscle pain. That’s a huge contrast to running/brisk walking outdoors where she normally spends the next day recovering.
Last but not least, the machine looks modest wherever it is placed such as bedroom/living room or conservatory space. I’d say it’s a good balance between a well-built, sturdy machine and a light weight, easily foldable machine. It’s step on and run machine with speed change as and when needed.
Finally I can summarize that with the given price and comparison made with home treadmill machines, It touched upon all my criteria such as foldable, stable and well built, and an EXCELLENT price. Highly recommend to those who have been through the tough period of pandemic restriction without any attendance to the gym. Only few bits i would love to see as extra’s Incline levels and Big display screen. Hope, Mobvoi will work this out in its next gen machine.
Overall, an excellent running machine for fitness!!
I bought this for walking for myself and winter running for my daughter.
The first one we bought arrived completely shattered on one side. The return was so simple and completely free. Amazing service by Amazon on this part 10/10
Once the second treadmill arrived it was really simple to put together. I used it the first time that day and did 5k on it. After that first use though the belt was slipping so badly I fell off. After looking up online how to fix the issue (you need to tighten the belt and loosen it on the side it’s pulling towards) it’s been amazing. The only thing that stops it from being 5 stars is the leaver to lock and unlock the bar is really stiff (I need to look this up online as I’m sure there will be an easy fix)
Highly recommend this machine if you want something simple.
It can be stored upright too. I just didn’t attach the handles as I knew I wouldn’t use them anyway
As an active gym user I rarely actually use treadmills at the gym because it kind of defeats the object of a gym. However as a football referee I need to maintain those endurance sprints and long distance running. Some games can get up to 10K!
I was looking for a treadmill which could keep me ticking over throughout the week and throughout the cold winter months. No one really wants to go out jogging at 6pm after work in the freezing cold pitch black. The treadmill also needed to be compact given the current space I have, this foldable treadmill was absolutely perfect.
Out of the box it’s pretty much assembled apart from the handles, which were really easy to screw in. They are robust enough to attach and reattach many times over. Folding down control panel arms is super simple using the release handle.
On the controls and interface it couldn’t be more simple, faster or slower. You get a neat little controller, if you don’t want to be fumbling around with the controls as you are running. You need to be a little careful as there isn’t as much belt real estate as your convention gym treadmills.
The screen showing times, distance and calories are clearly shown on the screen at the base/floor of the treadmill.
I’m a little bit of a Mobvoi fan boy as I’ve had 2 of their smartwatches now for again general daily use but more importantly refereeing (using RefSix). Looking forward to using all the devices in sync!
Been dawdling on getting a treadmill for a while now but kept putting it off due to how expensive they are and how much space they occupied. However when I came across this from Mobvoi it made perfect sense because unlike many other companies that offered cheaper alternatives to expensive treadmills I could trust them because I have many of their products like the ticwatch and ticpods. The delivery was quick as usual and set up was easy took about twenty minutes.
###build quality
The build quality is solid and feels quite sturdy.
### features
Don’t expect all the bells and whistles of a highly expensive device but it provides the things that matter.
It has a speed control that increments in steps of “.1”.
it has a calorie counter, id take those with a pinch of salt in general since its not really a proven science.
it can measure the distance travelled.
it has a decent bluetooth speaker and a phone stand which allows u to clamp the phone in place.
has a remote control with speed and power control, not sure the use here but i wont complain/
###Safety
it has a magnetic strip with a safety pull, so if its not connected will stop the device from functioning, it s a good way to prevent nosy children from turning the thing on and playing on it.
##selling point
the main selling point for me was its smaller compared to the other ones on the market and it can fold allowing it to be stored away when not in use, mind you its heavy so you need some help.
###Conclusion
since its smaller than a full size unit, do remember that it might be easier to reach the roller/end of tread easily especially if you have a longer stride.
its an easy recommendation from me.
This treadmill is compact & foldable and easy to move around as it has wheels. It doesn’t take much space and at the same time does not compromise on performence and feels sturdy. It has maximum speed of 12 km/h which is enough speed for most people. When the rail is down it is on walking mode with max of 4 km/h and with the rail up it is on running mode with max speed of 12 km/h. I have kept the rail up as it can do both and the arms are already assembled.
On the top rail left hand side it has start/stop touch sensitive button and speed up and down on right hand side. On the middle there are numbers showing your speed indication. At first I thought they were buttons as well but they are just for display. It is fine as you don’t want to increase your speed drastically, you want to increase the speed gradually to be safe. There is another screen at the bottom floor which shows time, speed, distance, and calories burned. I like using remote control as you can hold it in your hand while running and quickly change the speed.
It comes with all the tools and instruction manual to assemble. Assembly is very straight forward, the only assembly you need to do is to fit two arms and tighten the rails nut just enough, as you need to be able to release the quick release lever on the other side. There is phone holder as well and needs two screws to secure them on top of the rails.
The safety clip is magnetic and you clip it on your clothes while running and in emergency if you fall the magnetic connection gets disconnected and the treadmill stops immediately.
There is a bluetooth speaker to connect to your phone and listen to music, podcast or anything you want. It is a bonus thing to have but I did not like the quality of the speaker, my Google home mini has better sound quality.
I wish the power cable was a bit longer, at least slightly longer than the treadmill itself. As you can see on the pictures the socket is at the back wall. If I had rotated the treadmill the cable would be fine but I would be facing wall instead of TV. But it is not a problem as I used extension plug.
It comes with two small bottle of maintenance oil which needs to be applied on the trademill track at recommended time as per the manual.
I’ve been using the Mobvoi Treadmill for the better half of 6 months now and the thing that keeps me coming back is the sheer flexibility and easy of use
With this treadmill you can go from folded away under your bed to up and running (or walking!) in a matter of minutes – All the while without breaking the bank!
You’d be hard pushed to find a better treadmill out there that offers as many features as this treadmill – Including built in bluetooth speakers, a compact walking only mode and running mode, safety key and remote control
The build quality is surprisingly durable for the price but at the same time it’s easy to move the treadmill around should you wish to store it in one room and use it in another (Another great thing about this treadmill is that it’s able to fold right down and fit under a bed/desk/sofa for when you’re not using it)
You can even use the separate walking mode whilst the treadmill is still folded flat.
The initial setup is very easy, there’s very little that needs doing and for the most part it’s simply a case of plugging in the treadmill and putting a few screws together – You’ll have it up and running in no time!
The treadmill is perfectly suited for anything from short distance low intensity walks all the way to long distance runs thanks to the variable speeds
In short I would absolutely recommend this treadmill, it features 2 distinct modes (1 for walking and another for running) and is a well built, well designed bit of kit that’s ideal for anyone looking to take control of their fitness and health
I am a very keen runner and run around 20miles a week. I usually run outside but with the weather being so changeable I was looking for a reliable option for running at home. I didn’t want to start paying gym memberships again so I set out looking for a running machine, and boy did I find one!
Some criteria for my search was that I didn’t have a huge budget, needed something that could handle my size (I’m 6’2″ and quite a big build), and it had to be foldable – I don’t have the room to keep it out. I choose the Mobvoi because it seemed to hit all of these criteria.
First thing I noticed about the machine when it arrived in the box was the weight. Sure, it’s not exactly light, but it definitely isn’t too heavy. I was alone when get delivery and I managed quite easily to get it in the house and upstairs. Having said that, I would recommend 2 man carry this if you can.
I opened the box (see video) and was struck straight away by the build quality. It’s a very well made machine and looks really cool. The machine is mostly assembled to so no complications there. Just a few extra bits in a bag that you can easily attach, such as a phone holder and arm supports.
I LOVED the ease with which you can unfold the machine. It couldn’t be easier to change it from a folded position to a ready to run position. An added bonus is that you can use it as a walking machine when folded.
Once you turn the machine on, you are reminded to use the safety clip which is good. The operations are very easy; the dashboard has a start stop button, 12 speed indicators and a speed +- button on the right. On the base is a nice clear display alternating between speed, time and calories.
Another lovely feature of this machine is the bluetooth connection to your phone. You can easily connect the two and play music through the machine speaker. The machine itself is surprisingly quiet and so you can actually hear the music. The phone itself can be held in a holder on top of the main dashboard.
Running on this machine is a delight. It gives a really good firmness underfoot, but also just enough bounce to go easy on your joints. I run on this machine and apart from feeling tired, don’t feel any other aches or muscle pain. That’s a huge contrast to running outdoors where I normally spend the next day recovering.
The controls are very easy to use and I must say, the remote is a really nice bonus. At first I thought, ‘why would I need a remote when the button is right in front of me’, but It’s actually so much easier to use the remote and hold it in your hand.
The machine is unobtrusive in the room. I’d say it’s a good balance between a well built, sturdy machine and a light weight, easily foldable machine.
Before I finish though, I have to mention a few nags;
– the speed control. I really thought the 12 indicators on the dash were buttons to quickly change the speed; they are not. They are just indicators. After trying to press them as buttons a few times, I had to check the instructions to discover this. Sadly, this is a negative for me as I do a lot of HIIT running and need to change speeds from fast to moderate very quickly. Having said that, I must say that the speed does change very quickly (but safely) when you hold the speed buttons down.
– the remote connection. During your run, it does feel like occasionally there is a disconnect between the machine and the remote. This may be a fault with my machine, time will tell, but it is a problem as if you are using the remote as your primary control device and you go to change speed down or turn it off and it isn’t connected, that’s a problem and you end up scrambling to press the button on the dashboard.
– no pre-set programs. This isn’t such a big problem for me as I don’t really use them, but some may want to run a pre-set pattern like on the gym machines. This is just a get on a run machine, with only speed changed.
– Connecting arms with bolts – this may be really picky, but one thing I really love about this machine is how easily foldable it is. However the extra arms, which I usually like to have, are attached with bolts. It’s not that they are particularly hard to attach, but to me it is in contrast to quickly folding, to have to stop and detach/attach items. So I ended up just leaving the arms off which I must say, is absolutely fine.
Those are really nitpicky negatives because I have to say, I can’t recommend this machine enough. It really is impressive. It hit all my criteria, foldable, stable and well built, and an EXCELLENT price.
My final summary is to say that for any casual to average runner would find this to be the perfect machine. If you are doing couch to 5k or just try to keep in shape with the odd run – you will LOVE it.
If you are a more serious runner, who does HIIT like me, or pre-set programs you would probably still love this, but need to just consider those points I raised.
Overall, an excellent running machine for a great price. Highly recommended!
