Fun to ride and getting into scooters with, great for shorter commutes. A steal if you catch it on sale. Bluetooth app doesn’t stay connected reliably while keeping my phone in my pant pocket.
Would consider something with either wider tires or suspension as a step-up from this. For the sake of stability/comfort. If I knew I’d enjoy riding this much I probably would of sprung abit more for the kqi3 for the slightly larger features.
I’m an OTR truck driver and spend LOTS of time in the truck stops. You can easily find yourself parked at the far end and have a lengthy walk to get to the store. Lots of times they have crappy fast food but half a mile down the road is a nice local diner or tavern. I originally wanted an E-Bike but I chose this because it takes up less space and save lots of time and allows me to still cover ground.
The battery life is great. I can leave home with a full charge and not worry about it for a week or even 2. I’m a little over 200lbs and this will move me along on flat ground at 18-19 mph and roughly half that up a decent hill. The ride is vastly improved over the hard tired Lime scooter I initially tried. The head and tail lights are bright and can easily be seen. If I’m on the shoulder of the road I wear a reflective vest just to be safer. Also plan to add some reflective tape on the sides too.
The only ding I give it is the near useless app. You have to have it to set features but its tracking features DO NOT WORK. It either doesn’t log the ride or logs it incorrectly altogether. I needed a cover and nobody really makes one. I bought a grill cover for a 48″ gas grill and just trimmed the bottom. Works GREAT!
Overall its a great purchase for the money.
I ride this about 10km each way to work every day. I’m on the top end of the weight limit (~200-220 with my backpack) and use about 25% battery each way. Constantly traveling at 28km/h most of the ride.
Very fun way to travel. Make sure your tire pressure is maxed, I was using 50% battery until I got them pumped up right.
I’m hoping to use it until the winter hits and especially with gas prices right now it’s a good deal.
I like that the app is nice and alot of customization it’s smooth doesn’t stop that great but decent and wish it would go faster then 17 like my other scooter which was 100 cheaper but didn’t have the app and had solid tires which was alot bumpier its good quality you can’t go wrong
El patinete es fantstico, lo uso para ir al trabajo, la verdad que es muy confortable, me gusta mucho la estabilidad que tiene para las curvas, en las cuestas pues lo normal de los patinetes le cuesta trabajo la subida, pero bien cargada sube pendientes no muy pronunciadas.
El diseo que tiene es robusto, recomiendo.
Wow!!! I am absolutely in love with this Scooter! I received it on Monday and I cannot get enough of it! I bought this E-Scooter to commute to work since gas prices and parking fee’s keep rising and I said ENOUGH! and I have been having a BLAST on every ride i have taken. What beautiful way to start your day riding on the bike path through the forest and by the water and for that alone I would get this scooter. I cannot compare it to any other since it is the only one i have tried. It is super sturdy and build solid, lights are amazing features, comes with bell. Speed is AMAZING! I thought i’d be chicken to get it to go to 28KM/H but i am always riding at that speed now he-he The app is a cool feature to track your rides and battery life. I noticed when i am connected on the app my speed is controlled which is probably what i had seen in regards to making sure you are comfortable before getting you to max speed. I just dont connect it anymore to be able to go full speed and i dont need to track my rides. Battery life is FAB! i ride approx 80km per day and barely loses 10% I honestly have nothing bad to say it’s an AWESOME! solid ride and it even goes in the grass, gravel etc…. i love that it has SOLID wheels and no tubes so NO flats are possible 🙂
It’s a great scooter, the battery lasts enough for me to go to work and go back home every day.
The only thing i say it could improve is on the weight. It’s too heavy and carrying up the stairs is hard.
I purchased it Oct 2022. Used it for short rides once a month. Maintained the battery charged. 10 months later I get a code 30. Something about the battery. Now it won’t turn on nor charge. I call their support and they tell me that I have to submit a warranty form and mail this thing to Texas. No local options. Find a box because it’s not like I kept the original box and they don’t provide one. This thing is heavy and awkward to box. And there is no guarantee that I won’t get charged. So I am out 500.00 unless I want to pay out of pocket to take it to an independent scooter shop. So keep that in mind when you consider an NIU.
After shopping around, online reviews called this scooter one of the safest models to get to avoid going over the handle bars as a beginner.
Boy does this scooter deliver in safety. The brake is much stronger and easier to use than I expected.
I’m about 150 lb/68kg and the range I get at top speed is roughly 17.4mi/28km before the battery dies, which is roughly 70% of the promised range. I haven’t tested in e-save mode because I’m still having too much fun with it going top speed.
Get yourself one of those Jackery power stations and you can expand the range off grid as long as you have time to charge.
1 mois d’utilisation, aucun soucis rencontrs. Tout commence par un norme carton avec beaucoup d’emballage pour dcouvrir la bte.
Un guide donn trs utile pour dmarrer, on tlcharge l’appli et on ce lance.
Premire sensation, ca va trs vite (15 km/h) lol…. Puis on arrive au dblocage a 25 km/h.
Tout de suite bonne prise en main, on s’clate avec et on rentre pour faire la recharge complte pas trs rapide, mais a le fait!!
Les freins sont trs efficaces voir un peu trop, il vaux mieux jouer du frein moteur donc bien anticiper.
Pas de clignotant c’est dommage, feux avant qui fonctionne trs trs bien, a crash vraiment.
Niveau poids, ok c’est lourd donc bien rflchir si on doit la porter genre quand il n’y a pas d’ascenseur.
La qualit de l’ensemble est top, franchement elle est trs belle, elle fait son effet a coup sr.
Bonne grip des pneus a tient bien la route, l’acclration est bonne et on tient les 25 km/h mme en monte.
Autonomie qui me convient, 1 charge pour 1 semaine de 5 jours distance 7 km par jours.
( avec 1 bonne monte de 300 metres )

Monopattino elettrico da adulto, secondo me non adatto ad un ragazzino perch abbastanza pesante,circa 18 kg un po’ difficile da trasportare,ricarica batteria un po’ lentina……come note positive ci sono la comodit,la luce diurna e notturna molto molto utile.Ottima la sensazione di sicurezza alla guida anche senza sospensioni, sarebbero utili le frecce che non ci sono….buona autonomia,non rispecchia i dati tecnici ma un 30 km si fanno tranquillamente,tutto sommato un ottimo monopattino valutando che allo stesso prezzo si trovano articoli molto pi scadenti

I just got my QKI2 scooter. This is my first scooter. I also own a modified e-bike. The scooter feels and looks very premium. Almost totally silent operation.
Good power and range(I get about 30KM real range.) Top speed is actually 26.7KM/h (verified by GPS) not 28. Charging is kinda slow at 5 hrs for only 30km But even at that would get you to and from work up to 20 to 25KM a day. You could actually make a 50KM round trip daily with this scooter if you were so inclined and had an outlet to plug it into.
I am extremely pleased so far and think that for a first scooter this one is it. I am very happy with my purchase.
With the top speed you never really feel in all that much danger.. Any faster and I would think you should probably wear protective gear like knee pads and elbow pads.. You might need more power if you live in a hilly area Where I live it is flat as a pancake.
A couple of negatives. It is heavy to pick up once folded. 40lbs is not easy to cary for me. If you were small weak person might not be possible to cary once folded up (you could always roll it). Another possible issue could be that you need a smart phone to activate the scooter. Once it is all setup you can use the phone to unlock it or just leave it unlocked so you won’t have to take you phone with you.
Five stars so far I will update the review in the Fall.
Trotinnette vraiment top !
Je l’utilise chaque jour pour aller au travail (9km aller – 9km retour).
Elle fonctionne trs bien, avance bien, tient la charge et est trs simple d’utilisation (un frein, une manette d’acclration et un bouton permettant la mise en marche mais aussi d’allumer les pleins phares).
Il n’y a pas de suspension mais les pneus prvus suffisent largement (mme sur mes petites routes de campagne).
Je l’ai depuis plusieurs mois et n’est eu aucun problme avec.
L’application permet de connatre le nombre de km dj parcourus, le niveau de batterie, … ce qui est trs agrable.
Si vous avez la moindre question, le service client est trs ractif ce qui peut viter pas mal de problme d’organisation.
Seul petit bmol comme sur beaucoup de trottinette, elle n’est pas quipe de clignotant…
Sera genial si resistiera la lluvia, no es a prueba de agua, pero funciona excelente, es rpido y un excelente diseo
Actually when box came i was in shock how big it is . It’s took some time to unpack and make everything work. I bought it because my exboyfriend had the same and i loved to use it. It’s really so nice and comfortable thing. Scooter not small at all. Really huge.very comfortable. I m happy a lot. White colour actually looks great. First time when u use it’s a 200 m reastriction automatically and only e-save mood. After it’s 25 km mood activating and working(so don’t be scared at beginning as me that’s only 15 km only)
This is my first scooter. I had been looking at all models for a year and finally settled on this one because it was on sale (30% off!) I’ve use it to commute to and from work & to run small errands for two weeks now and I have to say i LOVE IT! The battery lasts up to 38km and it holds top speed of 28-29 the entire time uphill/downhill & flat (I weigh 140lbs). Eco-mode is probably more but 15km/h is slow… Its perfect and super convenient for the price. Obviously other brands or an upgrade to the pro 3 gets you more mileage but it gets me to where i want to go & back and im super happy about it. The only thing i’d say is that the bluetooth doesnt stay connected for very long when you’re setting parameters in the app – but i dont keep the app connected when im rolling because i hear it kills your battery. Definitely worth it at 30% off – it doesnt disappoi
Acceleration is quiet fast. I like the aired tires this makes riding on no flat roads more comfortable then my ninebot. A bit heavy when needed to be carried even just for a few stairs. It is very good quality for the price it is at.
Recently bought this and thinking to get another one to ride along with my companion but to get another colour there is no particular time that it will ever arrive it has gone from 2 days delivery to a lengthy time period which is leading me to look into other brands. I have tried others such as segway max and Gyro 3.0 but I love the braking on this and it wasn’t bad on sidewalks when compared to the others that I have tried. their 300-watt Motor feels more like 250.
Therefore I find it to be a bit not powerful it says it’s going 25km or a bit more but to me after riding the others it dint had that zoom feel if you know what I mean. Gyro Flash 3.0 had a nice boost but was not sturdy as this one. I was going to return this one and upgrade it to Pro 3 but two things you can only try this brand of scooter for up to 10 km and most importantly amazon seems to be changing their return policy where there not issuing a free return unless you contact their customer service. this 3.99 crap.
it is a great entry-level scooter. I use it mostly to commute to work and sometimes to go out.
I have seen a few bad reviews about the battery, and to be honest i have had some issues as well. One thing i noticed is that when i do not pair the app with the scooter while using it, it does not drain the battery like crazy. not sure if there is a correlation but since i stopped doing that, the battery lasts a good 28-30km max speed. Far from 40km announced, that range is in eco mode only (15km/h max)
Overall quick, fun, and very decent quality.

Bonus they give u extra grip tape so you can customize it or swap it out down the road.
Ordered a white and grey units both are nice looking and are very much the same.
My only issue. When going fast and on a hill you may not get braking power on first pull and that can lead to some issues if not expecting it or needing emergency stopping. Most times works great and stops fast but odd time it needs to be released and re-applied.
I have rode so many escooters and this is for sure up at the too range for the price. So far so good.
ela va faire depuis septembre 2022 que j’utilise ce modele. Je le trouve vraiment trs bon, mme si il y a quelques dfauts On est quand mme en dessous des 40 km annoncs mais a c’est normal, a dpend des routes mais globalement je peux aller d’un point A un point B sans problme. Le freinage en revanche parfois surprenant surtout aprs l’avoir recharge, en effet il faut rouler au moins 500 mtres pour ractiver les freins ce que je trouve un peu dangereux, donc un conseil ne roulez pas trop vite au dpart a vite les mauvaises surprises. L’acclration est vraiment superbe mme en monte et a honntement rien redire. Ses peneux de 10 pouces sont aussi un gros avantage et l’clairage aussi niquel. Enfin l’application et c’est l o je suis un peu dus en effet depuis quelques temps maintenant je ne peux plus connect ma trotinette mon tlphone et c’est bien dommage, l’appli avait de bonnes fonctionnalits que j’aurais bien voulut continuer utiliser, cependant la trot fonctionne parfaitement sans.
Pour rsumer c’est une excellente trotinette mme si il y a quelques dfauts
Plus de 3 mois que je m’en sers. La charge est pas trs rapide et le bouton-crochet l’arrire s’est cass (quel ide de d’utiliser un platoc de 5 mm d’paisseur pour lever une charge de 18 kg !?). Mais au moins le systme de pliage est trs correcte.
Pour ce qui est de la route, les roues resistent bien et l’acclration est correct sans plus. Le freinage est un peu bizarre mais on s’y fait. tanchit trs bonne, je m’en sers rgulirement sous la pluie et aucun problme.
la petite surprise c’est qu’il est possible de passer la vitesse max de 25 28km/h avec une petite bidouille de l’application (a parat drisoire mais on prends quand mme). Appli qui par ailleurs est un peu nul concernant les autres tches vu que sa fonction de collecte de donnes ne marche pas si le phone est verrouill

Il monopattino funziona molto bene. Va veloce, e facile da usare sia personale che per accelerare e anche per partire. Lo usa anche mia madre che a 58 anni e non mai caduta perch sicuro.
Come difetto trovo che sia troppo pesante e se devi salire su un treno o ti capita di prendere la metro e l’ascensore non funziona un gran problema. Pesa davvero molto. Lo puoi piegare e mettere nel baule dell’auto.
Il difetto pi grave stato che all’inizio aveva dei problemi a frenare, e in pi di un’occasione capitato che non abbia frenato quando doveva. Mi sono molto spaventato. Ho scritto all’assistenza e mi hanno spiegato come risolvere il problema e adesso non lo fa pi.
L’assistenza post vendita funziona sei hai un problema e scrivi al venditore. Il venditore ti risponde velocemente. Tuttavia c’ stato un grosso problema che non avevo previsto: se il monopattino ha bisogno di un’assistenza perch ha un guasto non lo puoi portare nel negozio vicino a casa tua ma lo devi spedire al rivenditore. Questo come puoi immaginare un grave problema perch significa che per qualsiasi problematica stai un mese senza il monopattino, senza calcolare inoltre che se per disgrazia hai buttato la scatola sei fregato perch non lo puoi pi spedire in quanto l’imballaggio sarebbe davvero molto complesso. Ricordati quindi di non buttare la scatola.
Il mio monopattino ma non ha avuto bisogno di assistenza per il momento quindi il problema non c’ stato, ma credo che il venditore dovrebbe migliorare dando la possibilit in garanzia di farlo aggiustare vicino a casa. Vicino a casa mia c’ un rivenditore proprio di quella marca ma mi ha detto che pu aggiustare in garanzia solo i mono pattini che sono stati comprati l Peccato.

La batera del patn me dio problemas tras 4 meses, pero es verdad que pudo ser fallo de fbrica, porque el patn me funciona genial y tena buena potencia. Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo. Es robusto y aguanta ms peso que otros. Es muy cmodo de conducir. Tiene luz delantera y trasera. Lo nico negativo es que pesa bastante.

Me lleva donde necesito, sube cuestas como un campen y la pantalla es una pasada lo bien que se ve.
Las luces iluminan bastante de noche (aunque depende de la carretera pro la que vayas supongo, no he probado a ir por un sitio totalmente a oscuras). Tiene varios retroiluminadores para que se te vea por carretera, y la luz trasera de freno es sensacional.
Lo veo de una construccin muy robusta, y la nica pega que le pondra quiz, es que tuve que tensar un poco el cable del freno porque me pareca que frenaba demasiado blando.

Really good scooter in eco mode will do 40-50 km but I have it at its fastest mode which does 17 mph lasts between 25-35 km. Its a really well made quality product and wold definitely recommend
NIU KQi2, scooter charge and app setup went smoothly without a hitch. Tested it on steep hill inlines above 15% assisted by foot sweeps. Overall, the test went well, but if you’re 15 stone and over your best with a 500wat scooter to eat the hills better.
Great product – easy to handle – would recommend to some one wanting an affordable E scooter but built to withstand the wears of everyday usage

Gostei bastante, j a conduzi bastante e at me surpreendi com as subidas de rampa que faz. S pena que o software do telemvel no seja um melhor visto que falha bastante. Mas a trotinete e muito boa, pena que depois de algum tempo a usar comea a ficar dorido o dedo no acelerador, pena no haver cruise control.
I haven’t used the scooter for a long distance yet, but it’s very sturdy and easy to navigate. It isn’t as fast as a more expensive one, but does the trick for getting out and about. It’s pretty heavy so not very portable.
This was the perfect scooter. Kinda heavy at first but got used to it. Hadnt used it in a few days and wouldnt turn on even tho it had full battery. Went home to plug it in then it would power on. That was the only bad experience. All in all, its a good scooter for campus
Peu de retour encore sur la trottinette mais je la trouve trs confortable ! L’autonomie est maximal si on est sur du 15 km/h max.
25 km/h et pesant 77 kg j’obtiens 28-30 km d’autonomie ce qui est amplement suffisant pour moi.
La trottinette respire la solidit elle est trs bien construite. voir maintenant dans la dure !
J’utilise la trottinette pour faire mon trajet boulot maison, pratique pour le un court trajet qui dure 25min. Point positif sur la solidit et l’clairage de l’appareil. Petit bmol sur la vitesse 22km/h pas loin des 25km/h affich. Et l’autonomie loin des 40km on est plutt 30km. a reste nanmoins un trs bon produit mais faut pas s’attendre que la vitesse et l’autonomie soit comme celle indique.
Ottimo monopattino, molto curato nei materiali e molto solido. Con una carica senza alcun risparmio energetico sono riuscito a fare 30 Km ( percorso pianeggiante).
Non do cinque stelle perch non ha il cruis control, e perch la frenata non il massimo
This is a good scooter, but it doesn’t get up to anywhere near 17mph- I would say 15 max. The speedo will state 17, but my phone GPS and even NIU’s own app will state that the actual speed is a few mph less than indicated on the speedometer. Also: 40km range is only if you travel in eco mode at no faster than 9mph, which is painfully slow. Because when it indicates 9mph, it’s probably really just 7mph actual. Other than that it is a quality built scooter with a comfortable ride. Just don’t buy the marketing lies.
Its been great once i unlocked it’s true speed but not even a week with it and I already have a flat tire to the back. This is its one true downside and its going to be super difficult to repair as this is not covered as part of its warranty
Hace ya 4 meses que lo compr y lo uso a diario, ha sido una de las mejores ideas que he tenido en adquirir ste patinete.
Estoy super contenta con el, es solido y robusto, las ruedas por ahora han soportado todo tipo de terrenos incluido terreno arenoso con piedras.
Es muy sencillo de plegar, eso si, por el precio que tiene podra haber incluido algn tipo de maletn o bolsa para poder guardarlo.
Su conexin es sencilla, la primera vez hay que enlazarlo con la app, y hacer un kilmetro en modo E-save que no pasa de 15km/h y luego ya podemos ponerlo en modo normal donde llega sin problema a los 25km/h. Los frenos en la app podemos decir qu intensidad tiene, ya que podemos configurarlo para que tenga menor o mayor impacto de frenada. Adems la app nos indica los recorridos y la batera que nos queda y cunto podremos abarcar.
Tarda varias horas en cargarse, yo lo dejo puesto toda la noche pero no he comprobado exactamente cuantas horas son. El fabricante indica que la bateria llena nos dejar hacer 30km, pero no siempre es asi, todo depende de si tus paseos son con subidas o el peso que ha de llevar el patinete.
El manillar es muy cmodo, igual que la base donde colocamos los pies, es antideslizante por lo tanto tiene buen agarre en los zapatos. La consola en s es muy sencilla de usar y da toda la informacin necesaria y se ve perfectamente incluso a pleno sol. La luz delantera del patinete siempre est encendida, pero de noche podemos darle ms luz todava. Tambin dispone de luz trasera y caballete.
La verdad que estoy contentsima y nunca me ha dado problemas. Os lo recomiendo.
La trottinette est trs bien: solide, ergonomique, bien finie et facile conduire.
Le seul dfaut : elle est trs lourde.
Le frein et un peu trop mordant mon go
I recently started a new job at a University hospital where parking is not only insanely expensive but stalls are also hard to come by. I decided to buy an eScooter and park further away to save some money and shave some time off my commute each day. I charge it up over the weekends and keep it in my trunk during the week. I ride it from my parking space right up to the front door of my building each day and back, M-F without a charge between uses and by the end of the week I still have well over half the battery remaining! I ride it about a mile and a half per day. It’s amazing how much time and money it has already saved me ($30 off each paycheck for parking and about 30 minutes off my commute)!
Any eScooter would get me from A to B, but I’m now convinced that this one in particular is THE best there is at this price point, and I see a LOT of people riding scooters around campus! First of all, I bought this during a Prime day deal for $480(!!) and I can’t believe what I was able to get for under $500. I am usually cruising at 18 mph on this thing and it’s amazing the difference between me and all the other scooters when we get to hills (and this is an EXTREMELY hilly campus). The KQi2 is an absolute BEAST on hills! That’s when it really shines in my opinions. Other scooters totally die and slow to a crawl but this one seems to enjoy the challenge. It pushes AND pulls you up hills so you can continue cruising and not feel like you are barely making it.
For the price point and the specs, this scooter provides about the most comfortable ride you can get. The addition of suspension would jack the price up significantly higher. For regular sidewalk and road use, this is more than adequate in terms of comfort, and I ride it over some pretty cracky and rough asphalt. Is it like riding on a cloud? No, but it’s plenty comfortable for me and not jarring at all, thanks in part to the air filled tubeless tires. A youtuber suggested keeping the tire pressure at 45 instead of the max allowed 50 psi for a more comfortable ride and I have found that to be a great tip.
This scooter looks and feels EXTREMELY luxe and high end, again, especially for this price point. Niu did not cut corners or cheap out on materials with this. In fact they did the opposite. With the KQi2 it seems they were genuinely trying to put as much quality into it as possible for the lowest possible price, and they knocked it out of the park! Even just standing still and powered off, this scooter looks much more luxury and high end than others several hundred dollars more. One of my favorite features is the always on headlight ring that looks super modern and cool. I love the grip tape deck which provides a great deal of stability while riding. Oh, and you won’t see many scooters on the road with ALL the cables hidden in the interior of the handlebar stem. It keeps the scooter looking sleek and sexy and also keeps all those wires protected!
A few other features worth noting that set this scooter apart from the others:
*TWO YEAR WARRANTY!!! Good luck finding that with any other scooter in this price class! Way to go Niu!!
*App locking – While I certainly don’t use this as a stand alone measure of security, I do love that it’s included. Here’s what I do to keep my scooter safe. First, I park it indoors in a security door enabled stairwell under the stairs where it isn’t visible to many people. Second, I lock it to a railing using a small portable lock that fits through the front tire. Third, I lock the scooter using the app such that if anyone tries to ride it or roll it away, it will make a loud beeper noise and the rear wheel will lock up. Fourth, it has a little compartment on one side of the scooter base (not sure exactly what it’s for) where I have stashed an air tag (see pics). It’s not easily visible or quickly removable for a passing thief and will send an alert to my phone if it ever leaves the premises. Eventually I plan to remove the entire base to access to battery compartment and put the airtag in there where it would take a lot of time and tools to access, but for now, this little compartment is great and would buy me time to track it should anyone try to make off with it.
*Bell – I love that this scooter comes with a little bell that can function as a horn if needed. It’s a small thing but again, goes above and beyond others.
*Super easy to fold and unfold – It takes seconds to fold and unfold and I can do it one handed.
*Very bright easy to use and easy to see screen, even in bright sun
*I mentioned the always on headlight ring, but the headlight light itself when you need it is awesome, too and is directional! So you can point it right where you want it.
Truly, this has just about the best of everything from battery life to mileage to comfort and quality to bluetooth capabilities to bells (literally) and whistles to looks and style. Are there faster scooters in this price range? Yes, but most are slower. Are there more comfortable to ride scooters in this price range? Yes, but most are less comfortable. However, I defy ANYONE to find a scooter that comes with this amazing combination of ALL features that is this well made and this sexy with a TWO YEAR WARRANTY for this price!!!
Just a few other things to note if you buy this scooter. Charge time is long (7 hours), but for me that’s a total non-issue because the battery lasts so long. I only need to charge it once a week and probably not even that often. If you want to buy a stem storage bag for this scooter, you’ll need to get one that can extend below the headlight and reflector on the front. I found one that works great. This scooter is a bit on the heavy side (around 40 pounds) so it isn’t one I would say is super portable or one I would want to carry up and down stairs for example, but it’s certainly easy enough for me to lift in and out of my car without any trouble.
I almost NEVER give 5 stars to reviews, but this scooter truly deserves it! If you’re in the market and $500 is about your price range, I highly encourage you to look no further and buy the KQi2. I promise you won’t regret it. I have no doubt that the KQi3 is amazing as well! Maybe one day I’ll upgrade. I am completely sold on the Niu company.

Dans l’ensemble une bonne trottinette, j’adore me balader avec. Quand elle est suffisamment charge elle prend les montes sans problme (tant que la pente est raisonnable). Les trottoirs de ma ville sont craquels et bossels et les roues encaissent bien.
Le pb pour moi c’est le bruit, je la trouve trs bruyante, ds qu’on acclre un peu ou qu’on est en monte elle fait un bruit de fuse.
Sinon je confirme le souci au niveau du frein qui est parfois paresseux et m’a fait quelques frayeurs. Je compense en anticipant au maximum et en ne roulant pas trop vite sauf si la route est clairement dgage. D’autre part tant trs lourde il est compliqu de la porter dans les magasins etc, du coup je suggre d’investir dans un antivol !

Il monopattino si presta molto bene, lo utilizzo anche per tratte di 15km e mi riporta a casa ancora piuttosto carico, inizialmente si risente dell’equilibrio per si fa pratica e risolvi. Pi potente di quanto mi aspettassi e ottima illuminazione , bisogna stare attenti che se si accelera forte e spesso mangi la batteria; soddisfatto.

My only gripe is sometimes it’s not obvious your latching handlebars in upright position and deck looks wider in pux but in person about an inch on each side is plastic that slopes downward at and angle

J’ai achet ce produit il y a 1 mois, tout allait bien, cette trottinette correspond mes besoins. Cependant, hier en voulant aller au travail, celle-ci a tout bonnement refuser de s’allumer. Le bouton principal ne ragit pas. Elle a bien t charge, je n’ai pas rouler avec dans de mauvaises conditions. C’est arriver du jour au lendemain, que faire?
Aprs quelques jours d’essai, j’ai vraiment apprci cette trotinette. Malgr son poid lgrement plus lev que le reste du march, le confort d’utilisation est top. ce qui m’importait le plus c’etait les rue pentue, mais aucun souci malgr mon poids proche de la limite. L’appareil monte correctement la pente. Pour l’autonomie on est aussi dans le bon puisque j’ai pu faire mes 38km avant de la recharger. L’application est trs bien faite et le tutoriel de commencement est cool. Aucun regret pour cet acha
En tant qu’tudiant excentr de la ville, je me sert de la trottinette quasiment tout les jours pour rejoindre mon lieu de travail et faire des virs entre amis (qui ont eux mme les leurs).
Et l’ensemble, je ne suis pas dus. Cette trottinette est un trs bon produits sur plusieurs points:
Premirement, les finition sont trs trs propre et attirent l’il, surtout compar une Xiaomi ou une Urban Glide quivalente en prix. L’autonomie est lgrement plus faible qu’annonc avec mes 75kg dessus mais n’est vraiment pas loin des 40km annoncs. Cependant la connexion Bluetooth de l’appli cumul avec l’utilisation du phare (qui est VRAIMENT trs puissant) impactent beaucoup la dur de vie d’une recharge complte. Du cot des lumire, on retrouve en plus une petite lampe l’avant qui fait office de feu de jour et un feu stop aussi trs puissant pour une trottinette.
C’est vraiment apprciable lorsqu’on fait du hors piste de nuit comme moi 🙂 .
D’ailleurs les grands pneus sont un vrai plus pour a et compenserait presque le manque de suspension. Le confort est prsent, et la taille du deck o l’on pose ses pieds y est aussi pour quelque chose (surtout quand on chausse du 45..). Aprs, toutes ses qualits Sont un minimum syndical pour une trottinette qui pse quasiment 20kg et qui est bien plus lourde qui ses concurrentes directes.
Niveau performance, les mont ne sont pas un problme (du moment que l’on peut dmarrer avec une impulsion du pied avant) et l’acclration est bonne , comparable une Xiaomi Scooter 3.
La ou le bas blesse est la capacit de freinage qui est (apparemment) inhrente au model.
Les frein ont tendances tre parfois encore actif lorsque l’on descend de la trottinette (ce qui se rgle en rappuyant dessus), mais ont aussi tendance pas toujours trs bien freiner lorsque l’on est dessus (ce qui est pourrait tre dangereux en cas d’urgence). Le grip une petite tendance se dcoller aussi (voir photo)
Hormis ce dfaut, le sentiment de conduite est agrable et rassurant. On plus l’impression de conduire quelque chose de solide qu’un skate lectrique guidon qui laisserait passer toutes les asprits de la route.
La batera es duradera y el motor bastante potente. Una lastima que sea tan pesado y la velocidad mxima este limitada solo a 25 en lugar de 30
This is my honest review of the scooter we purchased for my daughter in college. This scooter is a great deal for all the features it packs. The biggest thing is that the drive wheel is in the rear so it pushes you along instead of pulling you. This makes a big difference for overall balance since it feels more natural. The battery pack is in the riding deck instead of the front handlebar tube adding to a lower center of gravity. The pedestrian, eco and sport modes are very helpful when driving on the campus. Battery life is true to what is advertised. Top speed is about 16.5mph on flat terrain. The app syncs easily and is very simple to use. Once a phone is paired with the scooter there cannot be any other device paired so thats a nice security feature. Sport mode also cannot be unlocked until the tutorial has been completed and the scooter has logged X amount of miles. You NEED to pair the scooter with a device to access all the features. The headlamp is sufficiently bright and the tailamp with brakelight is a great safety feature. I cannot speak about the regenerative braking but i guess that could be a seamless positive. Yes, the scooter is a tad heavier than some but the build quality is top notch. Once folded and locked my petite daughter can carry it up a flight of stairs to her apartment. The front wheel allows using a standard bike U-lock to secure it to a bike rack. NIU has been making electric scooters for a long time so rest assure that they know what they’re doing.
FYI: we returned a GoTrax scooter which had almost none of the features as the NUI KQI2. Couldnt be more happier even after paying $80 more for the upgrade.
So when we got this- we were nervous but the price was right and it had a decent video review or 2. We got it set up for my son as a present and he was so thrilled, but it wouldn’t go very fast at all. We thought it was something to do with the app, but turns out the throttle was loose and slightly broken. It was still under warranty and would have cost a lot of money to ship back to China for a small & inexpensive part. Luckily it was an easy enough fix and now that baby flys!!! I mean really zooms at 40- it’s not slow at all. It really is a great buy. We haven’t had an issue since- so with knowing that things can get damaged along the way of shipping (& that we probably voided a warranty by fixing it ourselves & that we weren’t going to use)- I would buy another one for myself or my husband and take the chance it just happened to be that one. My other son has a Segway scooter and let me tell you- I thought that one was fast- this one leaves it in the dust every time! It’s fun- not a toy!!! This is a machine- so don’t buy it for little kids- it should be for older teens and up and with proper padding! Have fun & be safe!
J’ai achet cette trottinette en remplacement d’un Kugoo d’entre de gamme, qui m’a laiss tomb au bout 1 an en raison de la mdiocrit des pistes cyclables Dijon. Mes recherches se sont donc ports vers une gamme suprieure. J’utilise cette trottinette pour me rendre mon travail distant de 5 km de mon domicile, je mesure 1m60 pour un poids d’environ 55 km.
Lors du dballage de cet article, la premire chose qui interpelle, c’est sa robustesse, voir en pratique et dans le temps… La deuxime chose, rien ne manque pour tre dans les normes de scurit franaise : compteur effectivement bien limit 25km, lumire avant/arrire, fluorescences de chaque ct de la trottinette, avertisseur sonore, des freins ractifs, une bonne stabilit et un confort tout de mme relatif lors de passage dans les bosses.
Pliable facilement et rapidement, son poids de 18 kg me semblait norme par rapport la Kugoo de 11 kg, et en fait je la soulve aisment si j’ai besoin de la monte dans un transport en commun.
Son autonomie me suffit largement pour mes besoins. J’apprcie tout particulirement qu’elle ne perd pas de vitesse dans les montes.
Sa connexion Bluetooth est utile mais pas indispensable pour moi. Je l’utilise principalement pour le verrouillage de la trottinette.
Un petit rappel, n’oublier pas d’enlever le mode “e-save” en appuyant sur le panneau de dmarrage sinon la vitesse sera bloque sur 15 km comme un mode co.
Vous avez compris, je suis ravie de cet achat qui pour moi est d’un bon rapport qualit/prix.

L’acclrateur est pas bien talonn petite vitesse.
Les roues gonflables sont vraiment un plus.. Des amortisseurs l’avant serait pas du luxe pour le passage des trottoirs.
Les 40 km d’autonomie sont illusoires, nous sommes plutt sur de 25 30 km…
L’affichage sur la trotinette est minimaliste.. Vitesse et 5 barres pour la batterie.. Pas assez prcises.
L’application smartphone est bien faite mais il y a encore des bugs avec le suivi du parcours..lorsque l’on suit sa position sur la carte, la direction de la marche tourne dans tous les sens… Donc impossible de savoir ou on va.. , la position est bonne.
Pour conclure, bon produit avec des amliorations possibles.il manque par exemple une prise usb pour recharger le tlphone.
Je confirme aprs 200 km d’utilisation, la batterie fait 25 30km au mieux…

Il prodotto ha un hardware eccellente e delle ottime prestazioni. Purtroppo non scrivono che senza un telefono con bluetooth associato il monopattino v al massimo a 15 km/h, obbligando il cliente ad utilizzare la loro app continuamente mentre utilizza il monopattino. Oltre che al furto continuo di dati relativi alla propria posizione il comparto software lascia completamente a bocca aperta: il monopattino si collega con molti sforzi allo smartphone e dopo l’ultimo aggiornamento del firmware del monopattino l’associazione smartphone – monopattino non pi possibile. Prodotto venduto con hardware eccellente e un software che ne storpia completamente l’utilizzo. Inviata mail di richiesta supporto al servizio clienti ma anche dopo 48 ore lavorative non c’ alcuna risposta. Mi riservo la possibilit di aggiornare la recensione qualora arrivi un miracolo lato software dell’applicazione.
Aggiornamento: ricontattando il servizio clienti con una mail in inglese ho ricevuto risposta in meno di 24 e son riuscito a risolvere.
I searched for months to find the right scooter for my daughter, who is going to college. I wanted a scooter that was well-made, under $600, had distance of at least 20 mi, good battery life, went up modest hills and had a min top speed of 15mph.
I narrowed my selection to 4 brands, Gotrax, Hiboy, Segway and NIU. Right away, the Segway (Ninebot Max) achieved all the min specs that I was looking for, was well-made, but was too expensive. The Gotrax G4 and Ultra vs the Hiboy S2 pro was a close comparison, but the Hiboy seemed to have better specs. So it came down to the Hiboy S2 Pro vs the NIU kqi2 Pro. Both a good scooters, but in the end I chose the NIU, because from my research they are a larger manufacturer and have a wide variety of scooters, mopeds and other electric and gas powered vehicles. I found that Hiboy had many more complaints re: their quality and therefore it was NIU for me. Lastly, I considered price. Although the NIU’s MSRP is $600+,I was able to get it during Amazon deal days for $425, which to me is a steal.
Lastly, the scooter arrived and was well packaged. It is well-made, sturdy, great looking and achieved all the things that I wanted it to have in an entry level adult scooter. My daughter loves it and is having a blast riding it around town and going across campus in no time. I would highly recommend this scooter for its build, safety (lights and reflectors all over the scooter), speed, tires, braking and sturdiness. Lastly, I reached out to customer service with a question about the charging port and they responded on 30 min! It has a good warranty and with customer service being that responsive, that is icing on the cake. Good luck, there are a lot of choices, so I hope my review will help you with your decision.
Trs contente de cette trottinette! Un beau design et une potence qui l’air trs solide.
J’ai un petit soucis avec (elle m’affiche le code “07”) mais je pense que cela peut tre rparer. J’ai contacter le vendeur afin de voir ensemble.
Dans l’ensemble elle avance trs bien et mme dans les ctes. Le seul bmol, ne pas voir le nombres de km total raliss sur l’cran ou sur l’application. Je ne me rend donc pas bien compte si l’autonomie est respect ou non.
Frher geliefert als gedacht, super! Zusammenbau echt easy und schnell. Laden dauert halt seine Zeit. Mit dem beigestellten App (Scooter sperren, Statistik etc.) klappte auch alles einfach und selbsterklrend. Das Gewicht ist doch sprbar. Die Fahrleistung lsst jedoch zu wnschen brig die angegebenen 20km/h sind nur bergab erreichbar, durchschnittlich 14km/h. Ob der Akku seine angegebene Lebensdauer erreicht werde ich sehen. Ein Schnwetter- und Spagert.
Ho approfittato dei prime deals per acquistare il KQI2 Pro di NIU, che giustamente acclamato in tantissime recensioni come miglior monopattino entry level.
Ad un prezzo sostanzialmente irrisorio (400 euro) rispetto alla concorrenza, vi portate a casa un monopattino veramente solido, di una qualit che trovate solo spendendo il doppio.
Alla guida preciso e d un senso di sicurezza. Pedana grande e larga, pneumatici da 10 tubeless lo rendono comodo alla guida.
Sulle strade sconnesse si sente la mancanza delle sospensioni (consiglio di non andare a manetta in questi casi) ma comunque non stancante e tiene bene la strada.
Peso 79kg e tutte le strade in salita della mia zona riesce a percorrerle tranquillamente, quelle pi ripide la velocit max si assesta sui 15kmh.
Per quanto riguarda l autonomia nulla da ridire, riesco ad arrivare ai 30km di percorrenza in media.
I 40km dichiarati sono per la modalit E-Save (max 15 kmh e peso del conducente di 70kg).
La frenata ok. Il faro anteriore acceso di sera illumina gran parte della traiettoria di percorrenza.
Unici nei per me, ma che sono anche sinonimo di qualit, sono il peso e le dimensioni: non facile da portare su e gi per scale, in ascensore o nel cofano dell auto.
Non posso giudicare bene l’app perch l ho solo utilizzata per fare il tutorial (necessario per sbloccare la velocit di 25kmh) e registrare me come possessore del monopattino per la garanzia, che di ben 2 anni!
Non connetto pi il telefono al monopattino se non per controllare la percentuale della batteria.
Consiglio di non aggiornare il firmware del monopattino quando richiesto se funziona tutto correttamente quando vi arriva, perch come qualsiasi software potrebbe portare problemi.
Non so NIU come faccia ad essere un azienda con profitti netti (quotata in borsa sul NASDAQ) offrendo prodotti di qualit a basso prezzo. Complimenti davvero!
Muy estable pero pesado y mas si lo vas a transportar con una sola mano. 18,4 kg no s poca cosa.
Mejoraria, como anecdota, que el timbre fuera electrico y no manual tipo bici, mas audible para los que te rodean.
Pediria que fuera ajustable en altura y que la plataforma se pudiera subdividir en dos partes y que quedara anclada en horizontal, como cuando abrimos una mesa, de manera que los pies pudieran ir paralelos, ayudando as, al descanso en revorridos largos y luego recogerla en la posicin inicial.
En general me gusta mucho se ve robusto,
esteticame lineal y en cuanto a seguridad muy bien la iluminacion. La frenada de tambor delante, un poco tosca.
Aun llevo pocos kms pero puedo decir que aguant sin problemas roscado a tope a 25 km/h a una temperatura ambiente de 35C
a pleno sol durante 1/2 h.
Display bien bisible de dia.
I used to own Segway Ninebot Max, purcahsed in 2020 but ,unfortunately, it got stolen so I have decided to opt-out for a cheaper scooter this time and laid my eyes on this KQi2 Pro. In CAD, Ninebot Max is 1150, KQi2 is 749.
NOW,
1. I did not notice missing 50W less power on the motor or 2km/h less max speed.
2. Build quailty is insane, definitely Ninebot level, sturdy and high quality. The only thing is I wish it was less bulky (too much body work) but I do have to note that it is a lot lighter than a Ninebot Max.
3. The only thing is maybe the Range but I have never fully discharged the Max and I do commute a lot. So, 40 Km on KQi2 Pro is definitely sufficient enough.
4. I found the ride comfort is better on KQi2 than Ninebot Max.
Verdict: considering current discounts, dont even think and buy this closs to perfection piece of equipment. But if you are looking for more power, get the KQi3 Pro which Im sure surpassed Ninebot Max by a mile and IT IS 100 BUCKS CHEAPER.
C’est le top, deck large donc confortable. Je vais environ 20km par jour un peu plus et je suis jamais tomb en panne de batterie mais il faut s’attendre se qu’elle ne fasse pas les 40km annonc. Pas d’inquitude pour les ctes elle est jamais descendu en dessous de 18km/h sur des bonnes montes, on sent mme que le moteur envoie plus de puissance ds qu’il sent une pente. Les pneus de 10 pouces permettent comme annonc de assez bien amortir les choques et de ne pas bloqu la roue dans un trou btement. Il faut bien penser connecter la trottinette l’application la premire utilisation car pour se faire la main elle est bloqu 15km/h sur 200 mtres il me semble et aprs vous pourrez atteindre les 25km/h annonc. L’application c’est un plus ! a affiche le trajet en temps rels l’autonomie restante en km et d’autres information pratique seulement pour a il faut penser un support pour smartphone. Elle a une bonne acclration. Elle est parfaite pour le milieu urbain. Elle a galement du coup le feu arrire qui s’claire quand on freine et le phare avant en forme de halo qui suffit tre visible mais un peu galement allum le phare au centre du halo qui claire plutt bien. A savoir galement sur l’application il y a la possibilit de mettre la trottinette en antivol c’est dire qu’il y a une rsistance lorsque quelques fait rouler la trottinette et elle met un signal sonore. a ne bloque pas compltement la roue et ce ne remplace pas un antivol mais sachant que c’est pas toujours pratique d’antivoler une trot’ c’est un plus qui est pratique. Je la recommande vraiment.

Pros: – No need to worry about flat tires (solid tires)
– Can climb hills very well, I still get 22-24km/h on a bridge hill from work everyday.
– Saves money In the long run instead of gas/cabs/public transportation etc
– One of the best bang for your buck commuter scooters
– Keeps its power steady up until about 15% then you start losing top speed
Cons: – Limited to 26km/h although 28km/h is advertised
– Take the 40km range with a grain of salt. Id say realistically about 30km range with realistic driving conditions.
– As a 6 foot man with size 11 feet, I wish the deck was a bit wider and longer.
– Headlight isn’t bright, you will have to buy an aftermarket mountable headlight if you plan on doing lots of riding at night like I do.
– The solid tires are amazing for no worries of a flat, but combine that with no suspension and bumps can be quite unpleasant.
-Overall: 4/5 stars. Very happy with my purchase but it does have some cons which is expected because this is on the cheaper end of scooters. I recommend this to someone who is looking for something to commute to work (within a 10-15km range each way maximum or you will have to worry about battery life).
If you don’t need to fold it and carry it with a single arm, this scooter is far superior than any scooters in this price range. But if you live in New York, where most of subway stations don’t have an elevator or they smell too bad that you don’t want to get anywhere close, then this thing is really really heavy for you to climb up and down the stairs among crowds.
I took it to Washington DC. With accessible stations everywhere, it’s a breeze to have this scooter.
If you never need to fold it, or only put it in your trunk, don’t hesitate, get it!
The build quality is on par with unagi, Segway, Mi. Hiboy and another popular brand can’t even come close.
