das Seil kommt schnell und gut verpackt hier an, von der Qualitt her wrde ich es als gut aber etwas grobschlchtig verarbeitet einstufen.
Das Seil hat an einem Ende einen Karabiner mit Schraubsicherung, am anderen Ende ist es offen und mit einer Art Schrumpfschlauch berzogen damit es nicht wieder aufspleien kann.
Da bei dem Seil an mehreren Stellen Seilfasern mal mehr und mal weniger stark abstehen ist es fr die Hnde etwas unschn dort anzufassen, besser htte ich ein gleichmiges festes ueres des Seils gefunden. Dies wre auch haptisch besser gewesen.
Am Ende verliert das Seil dadurch einen Stern, bekommt aber schlielich trotzdem noch 4 Sterne da es ansonsten wirklich sehr schn und vor Allem auch stabil und belastbar ist.

I would suggest every parent gets one of these to hang from a tree if you have one. The activity of climbing a vertical rope is incredible for children to develop climbing endurance and fitness as well as muscle.

Ich habe das Kletterseil fr meine Kinder (8 & 4 Jahre) zum Klettern im Garten bestellt. Es kam schnell und einfach verpackt bei uns an. Dank der 4m-Lnge kann man gut mehrere Knoten als Kletterhilfe einziehen, so wird das Seil auch deutlich krzer und eignet sich gut zum Aufhngen im Baum. Das Juteseil ist deutlich rauer, wie auf den Produktabb. ersichtlich – fr Outdoor strt es uns aber nicht. Durch den Karabiner kann man das Kletterseil gut im Baum befestigen und auch bei Regenwetter zur Schonung des Materials schnell abnehmen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und knnen das Kletterseil absolut weiterempfehlen.

The tail end is wrapped to prevent fraying, and the carabiner provided at the head of the rope made install easy.
The rope sheds a bit, especially for the first few uses.
Wir haben im Garten schon so einige Seile zum Klettern an Gestelle oder auch Baumste gehngt, nur hatten die alle einen entscheidenden Nachteil – die waren zu dnn. Mir wurde das “NorthPada Kletterseil 4 Meter 40 mm Statisches Seil Arm und krperliches Training Seil fr Workout Gym Strke und Fitness” zum Testen abgeboten. Schon als ich Lnge und Durchmesser des Seils sah, sagte ich sofort zu.
Ok, beim Auspacken des doch recht schweren Taus war ein etwas unangenehmer Geruch dabei, der mich aber nur minimal am Rande strte, weil wir das sowieso drauen verwenden wollten. Ansonsten gefiel mir das Seil sehr gut, das war tatschlich ca. 4 cm dick und kam auch auf die angegebenen 4 m Lnge.
Die Naturfaser Jute war hier unverkennbar und dadurch sah das Seil insgesamt recht “fransig” aus.
Zum Anhngen war am oberen Ende ein stabiler D-Ring angebracht, der durch einen einfachen, aber ausreichend sicheren Karabiner mit Schraubsicherung ergnzt wurde.
Das gespleite obere Seilstck war genauso mit Kunststoff (eine Art Schrumpfschlauch) gesichert worden, wie das untere Seilende.
Also raus damit, vorerst nur an das Klettergerst, bis die Kleinen eine ordentliche Tauklettertechnik beherrschen. Ich musste natrlich vormachen und bekam das auf Anhieb wieder hin. Die Kleinen konnten fast nicht glauben, dass ich mein Gewicht da nur noch mit den Fen hielt und wollten das unbedingt auch knnen. Die Machart des Seils kam uns sehr entgegen, weil man sich durch die raue Oberflche schn festhalten konnte. Hanfseile, die wir schon hier hatten, waren etwas glatter gewesen, wobei das auch immer auf den jeweiligen Herstellungsprozess ankam.
Ich hatte zu keiner Zeit den Eindruck, dass das Seil inklusive Beschlgen die Belastung nicht aushalten wrde. Auch als wir aus Spa zu dritt dranhingen, drehte sich da nichts auf oder so.
Sobald die Kleinen die etwa 2,5 m Seilhhe am Klettergerst sicher beherrschen, werde ich das Seil an einen Ast hngen, der dann mehr als 4 m ber dem Boden sein wird. Zur Sicherheit koffere ich den Boden etwas aus und flle den mit groben Holzspnen, schlielich soll sich niemand etwas brechen, falls es mal schiefgeht oder die Kraft nachlsst.
Etwas umstndlich ist, das Seil bei schlechtem oder sehr sonnigem Wetter immer abnehmen zu mssen, damit das schn lange hlt. Aber immer noch besser, als ein Seil aus Kunstfasern.
Unter dem Strich ein stabiles, dickes Tau und sehr gut fr Tauklettern oder auch bestimmte Fitnessbungen und natrlich auch Tauziehen geeignet. Es ist schn griffig und man rutscht nicht so schnell.
Von mir gibt es eine Kaufempfehlung.
Climbing Rope – 4 Meters.
Good strong climbing rope that’s so useful. The supplied fixing on the rope seem to be more than capable. The price at time of writing is 29.99, which for a 4 metre rope is good value in my opinion.
This rope is epic. It’s is incredibly well made, thick and strong. It comes with metal fittings which are equality substantial and durable.
We will be using this on our climbing frame in the garden, it’s currently winter so can’t try it out just yet but I am more than happy with the quality so far.
My husband is an experienced climber and he is very impressed with this (and he’s fussy) so that’s a great accolade for this product.
I’ve photographed this in hand to give you scale and some close ups of the natural jute. One thing to bear in mind making this purchase is the recommended lifespan of this rope is two years. I will be writing the year on the rope so that I don’t forget.

I got this to attach to my Rogue Sled, as another option for pulling exercises. Feels great and it seems sturdy. It comes with a clip, but I attached it with the one that is already on my sled, since its a bit heavier.
This is really strong and really good quality. We attacked ours to the kids climbing frame and they love it.
This exerxise/climbing rope is made from natural jute; its diameter is 1.57inch (40mm) and its overall length is 13′ 05″. Its actually very well made and reminds me of the ropes that ships use at The Pier Head when they tie The Mountwood Fery up before passengers are allowed on board.
It has a smell of an old, ship building warehouse which I like as it brings back pleasent memories of my teenage youth.
It is super strong, like almost indestructably strong. You could lift a fully grown elephant off the floor with it! Why you would want to though is another matter!
As a piece of exercise equipment it is brilliant! I plan to add a strong bracket to the outside of my house in the back garden, were I’ll attach this jute rope to and use it to do workouts.
The seller states that it is “Mountaineering equipment – Static mountaineering ropes – Safety requirements and test methods”! I completely agree with this as I’d be very happy to climb up a rock face first after this rope has been suitably secured.
It’s got some weight to it offering me confidence of its suitability as climbing rope and of its quality.
It is priced in the correct price range I feel as it could last a life time if treated with tlc!
There are a multitude of uses for it if you don’t wish to use it as directed by the seller. As a display item in your home, suspended from the ceiling would be tremendous, alternatively if you have a ‘nautical’ themed bathroom it is ideal! Not it’s designated intention though.
A fantastic rope. Tough and well put together. The rope arrived in a simple bag and was curled up as seen in the advertised picture. I’m very happy with the product.
The rope is excellent for climbing. If you have ever done obstacle courses and had to climb a rope, this is the same type of rope.
It is a new rope so it does not have a billion rope splinters. Both ends have strong shrink wrap product to prevent fraying. The anchor end comes with a couple of rings to attach it to whatever you have. Myself, I will simply do a loop around the mounting location. That is the strongest IMHO.
I had been looking for something like this to add to the fitness regime. Glad I got this one. I recommend it.
It is a nice climbing rope. Very similar to what I find at my CrossFit gym. It is natural jute so it is a little rougher than some ropes, but it does offer a good grip. My only picky thing, which might be because I’ve never had a brand new rope, is it smells pretty bad (kind of an oily smell). It also is a little loose in the in the rope twists (see picture). Neither are a big deal, overall I think it is great and love that it is 4 meters (over 13 feet).
The rope seems well produced. Although on mine the heat sealed coating on the rope stops short of the fitted d-ring; unlike the one in the image in the product listing. A sturdy looking lockable carabiner is included and this comes pre-attached to the d-ring.
I was a bit concerned with how the rope threads attached to the d-ring looked a bit loose; the pre mentioned rubber issue; and the metal sheet wrapped around the d-ring straight bar part had a bit of a gap. I was wondering if the latter would rub away at the rope when under tension and with movement from being used. A message to the seller via the Amazon system got a swift reply, stating these are all totally fine.
There is a rather pleasant fresh kind of smell from the supplied rope.
This item is very versatile/ The rope can be used for vertical climbing; used in the creation of an obstacle course; or as a lighter weight battle rope for exercise, to name three.
The current selling price of 29.99 for what is essentially 4m in length and 40mm thickness rope with the supplied fittings, makes this exceptional value for money.
The rope comes just in a plastic bag, there is nothing included to say what sort of strength it will handle or is rated to.
The fixings themself look quite strong and like they will put up with a fair bit of weight on them.
The end of the rope is nicely protected from unravelling and the rope itself looks good quality.
Don’t pay attention to the messy disaster of the garage. Do pay attention to the climbing rope. My son installed this today and tested it out all afternoon. The only problem is our garage roof isn’t higher, but that’s not the rope’s problem. The rope is very sturdy and as you can see by the video, serves its purpose.
The rope arrived well packaged and of good quality. A very sturdy locking carabiner is attached to the ring at one end of the rope. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the rope, and it functions as intended. The problem is me. I just don’t have the hand strength to pull my weight up the rope. I will keep trying to pull myself up!
The rope is so thick! The clips are very strong! Made very well, great length….love it .. its going to go onto my tree for the grt nephew and niece’s to climb! Very good quality…

13.12 feet Physical Training Rope for Strength and Fitness.
Has a real rustic look and feel to it it seems fine for home use but i wouldn’t use it for any high traffic situations ill continue to put it through its paces and will update this review if needed.
At just shy of 30 it seems suitable but i dont feel its going to last but time will tell.
It even has that wonderful new rope smell!
This is the business! A superb quality proper rope with extremely robust fixings for safety.
This will be suspended from a balcony for climbing practise and it is perfect for the job. Luckily there are metal supports to attach to so this professional rope is simple to install and will be much used.
Recommend it highly.
Auf der Suche nach einen qualitativ-preislich guten Seil zum OCR-Training bin ich auf dieses hier gestoen. Nach kurzem Versand war ich positiv berrascht ber die Qualitt. Es riecht zwar ein wenig nach Hanf am Anfang, aber das strt nicht wirklich.

Das NorthPada Seil ist robust aber, wie ich finde, etwas unangenehm in der Hand und hart. Ansonsten ist die Verarbeitung ok. Durch den Karabiener passt das Seil nicht. Ich finde, man sollte es in mit Handschuhen nutzen. Sonst ist es klasse zum Workout. Vielleicht bekommt es Geschmeidigkeit nach mehreren Monaten des Nutzends.
Das Seil macht qualitativ einen sehr guten Eindruck. Aber es riecht sehr extrem, so dass wir versucht haben es ein paar Tage drauen auszulften. Leider geht der Geruch nicht weg, aber es wird von uns eh drauen genutzt.
Wir nutzen es fr Kletterbungen, dafr ist es bestens geeignet.
Das Seil ist sehr stabil, dank 40 mm Dicke und hat bereits einen fest installierten Karabinerhaken an der einen Seite. An der anderen Seite ist das Seilende abgeklebt.
Der Preis ist im Vergleich mit anderen Seilen durchaus im Rahmen.
This is a natural fiber rope, and that makes it very different from the more plasticky ropes you’ll find out there. Note that the top loop is RATHER SHORT so keep an eye on that union each time you climb just to make sure it’s not falling apart.

Das Seil ist relativ grob es kann zum Griffkrafttraining/Seilklettern gut genutzt werden.
Bis jetzt ist noch kein groes ausfasern festzustellen, ich hoffe das bleibt auch eine Weile so.
Die Qualitt ist auf jeden Fall sehr gut, nur was uns richtig strt, ist noch der starke Gestank.
Das Seil muss mindestens ein par Tage drauen liegen, also bitte nicht direkt in der Wohnung ausbreiten, dass ist echt bel.
Ich hoffe der Geruch verzieht sich weiter.
Das Jute-Kletterseil ist massiv ausgefhrt und griffig. Es riecht angenehm nach Naturprodukt. Auch der Karabiner mit Schraubsicherung macht einen guten Eindruck. Fr meine Fitnessanforderungen ist es gut geeignet. Mit 44.- Euro zum Testzeitpunkt finde ich den Preis aber etwas zu hoch.
Das Seil kommt in einem einfachen Kunststoffbeutel verpackt. Es hat einen starken Jutegeruch und ich habe es zum Auslften erst einmal in den Garten gegeben.
Am oberen Ende hat das Seil einen Karabiner mit Schraubsicherung, der in eine se in der Decke oder Balken eingehakt werden kann. Das Seil selbst kann nicht durch den Karabiner gezogen werden.
Die Oberflche des Seils ist nicht so glatt wie es auf den Produktbildern. Sie ist rauer und es stehen Fasern ab. Ich verwende das Seil nur mit Handschuhen.
Das Seil ist reifest und bietet guten Grip.
Insgesamt ist es ein solides Seil, das mir noch besser gefallen wrde, wenn es glatter und noch kompakter gedreht wre, sodass weniger Fasern abstehen. In der Belastbarkeit sehe ich aber keine Probleme.
