Question: Inspection – how effective is it? I think that a tested product with certification would sell better and could multiply the profit, in addition to the fact that customers would also buy with confidence.

Great flask with a pretty cool temperature display. Good battery life too

Really nicely presented bottle. Looks good quality. Only slight issue is the bottle would be better if you could lock the display. Depending on how i pick the bottle up i end up bumping it onto UV mode which will drain the battery faster but apart from that so far so good

At first glance, this looks like a normal bottle. It keeps your drink cold, it holds a good amount and, overall, has a simple yet appealing design. Once you take a closer look, you’ll see the lod is quite different as it has a display indicating things like the temperature or a reminder to keep you hydrated over the day. It also is a self-cleaning bottle and, thanks to UV, it helps purify water.
So, in essence, it is a ‘smart’ bottle. With all the expected features of your standard reusable bottle and a little extra on top (quite literally) to help make your water drinking experience better.

Love this – and the idea of it.
Obviously if you use more than water it’s not going to self-clean but it’s easy to clean out with a handled sponge etc. Easy to charge and use (press of a button), lightweight despite the extra technology. Good value.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a great looking bottle in black steel with a secure lid, and which holds 500ml. So far so good, but it is the extras that come with it that make it that bit special.
The base of the bottle is covered in a silicone disc, so it won’t slip around on a table, and the clever electronics include a temperature reading, a reminder to drink at set times, and UV sterilisation of the contents.
All controlled by a simple touch function of the display set into the lid. One touch brings up the temperature of the contents, along with a blue edge ing to the display if it is cold, and a red edging if they are hot.
Touching again brings up a little bell icon, and an alarm will sound at regular intervals to tell you when to drink throughout the day. Finally, touching and holding activates the UV sterilisation functionality, where the UV light will activate for three minutes (or unless you stop it earlier, but why would you !)
Without a lab to test the water quality pre and post ‘sterilisation’ I can’t say if it actually works, but it is a novel idea which I am sure has been fully tested to make that claim.
The display/UV unit in the lid is charged via a USB C cable, and only lights up when touched, so battery lasts a good while (up to 60 UV activations according to the blurb)
The manual could be more comprehensive, as you have to look up a lot on line to really get the best out of this, but it is a robust piece of kit with some added extras !

I’m writing to tell you about my experience with Nutrality.
You can feel the quality of the product when you first receive it.
I picked up a bottle of this water and it helped me tremendously. I have sensitive skin and need to drink a lot of water every day but I had been feeling hungrier than normal .

It’s like magic! All I do is fill it up (usually in the morning) and then just sip from it throughout the day. The best part? It’s filtered so you can drink from anywhere, including near rivers or lakes!

Took it on a hike and it works perfectly. No leakage and kept the water cool all day. I like the fact that it’s slim enough to carry in a backpack as well as in a larger handbag. I now take this with me everywhere.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI like the bottle, both the aesthetic design for its simplicity and the more technical design. The bottle closes very well, I like the design of the rubber bands on the cap.
Then we have the more technological part, a bit more of an extra and not really necessary. It has a screen on the top of the cap, which is only on when we use any of its functions.
But hey, it’s nice to have a thermometer. We can see the reading with a touch of the screen.
One thing that some people who don’t like to drink water might appreciate is the reminder to drink. A double tap activates it and a little bell appears on the screen.
Finally there is the UV filter, which is a feature whose quality is not really appreciated. If you press the screen for a few seconds, the UV light inside the bottle lights up. The display will show a countdown of 180 seconds, which can be deactivated at any time. If you open the lid, the UV light turns off to prevent damage to your eyesight.
Charged via USB-C (cable included), the battery lasts a long time, thanks also to the fact that the display is not continuously on.

Nice and pretty, but uncertainties about the UV filte

Honestly one of my favourite purchases on here. Now I don’t know if this is psychological but I’ve never really been a fan of water straight from the tap and after using this for a week now I’m confident in saying I will never drink another cup full from the tap again.

The UV sterilisation works a treat and leaves you confident and wanting to drink more which is perfect for me as I fast during the day so I can only have water or black coffee.

It really is one of those things that you will try it and love it.

This now follows me everywhere I go.

This Sports bottle from Nutrality is available in 4 different colours and is currently selling for just under thirty pounds on Amazon.I opted for the black colour and am happy with it,the bottle looks sleek and elegant. The capacity of the sports bottle is 500ml and it is made from high grade aluminium.the top of the bottle is screw cap.
The bottle has a couple of tech features that set it above the opposition. The bottle has an optional alarm that reminds you to take a drink every 90 minutes and also has a very cool self-cleaning UV light feature that helps purify your water.Once activated a countdown timer, lets you know when your water is ready.
The bottle comes complete with instuction manual and a white USB to USB-C charging cable.
    My rating is 5 Stars.
    Top little gadget.

This is a really clever water bottle. It looks really good, nice clean lines, but it’s the functionality that is ace. You can put not so clean water in here and it will purify it for you. So if you’re out camping or on a hike you can put water from a stream or a standpipe or a tap labelled “not drinking water” in it and in just 3 minutes the water is safe to drink.

The display on the top of the bottle gives the temperature of the water in the bottle and it will also remind you to have a drink every 90 minutes if you want. You can purify 60 bottles of water on one charge so great if you’re going off the beaten track for a while. Similarly, if you intend to be stranded on a desert island, take one of these with you.

Personally, I wouldn’t advocate taking water from a stream or river even if you’re going to purify it. If that happens to be your only option, I’d strain it through some fabric first – no one needs chewy bits or grit in their water.

I know it’s a water bottle and it’s got this lovely purifying feature, but it’s just as handy as a coffee flask when I’m out walking my dogs on cold mornings. The display on the lid can let me know how hot my coffee is without me scalding myself or ending up with a cold cuppa.

An ingenious piece of kit that I’m happy to recommend.

I never understood the point of these bottles, so I decided to get one and see what the fuss was about.
They are really useful, I like the way you can monitor temperature. Battery lasts a while to, but the overall volume isn’t amazing. Still very good for the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIn the UK, the water that comes from your tap is almost certainly deemed to be potable and free from bacteria, coliforms and other organisms. Not so if you travel abroad to some countries. The impurity of tap water is known to cause many people stomach upsets.

This is an ideal water bottle to use when travelling and the Ultra violet sterilisation light will effectively kill and render lots of those water-borne bugs ineffective and safe. I was very impressed with the simplicity of how this works. A single push button will set off a timer that automatically sets the UV sterilisation on for 180 seconds.

The bottle also has a built-in temperature sensor, so that you know how cold the water is, plus a drink timer that gives you an alert every 90 minutes. The bottle is semi-insulated and should keep drinks cold for a few hours if required, but not as good as a thermos flask

My only complaint is the amount of water it holds. 1/2 L is rather small, but I guess it’s a compromise to allow the full effect of the UV. Anything of more capacity would mean a more powerful UV light and a longer contact period to do the job.

As it stands, this is a good bottle to carry around. It’s rechargeable and easy to use and gives that assurance and peace of mind that the water I drink is going to be safe and sterilised from nasty bugs.

Need an insulated bottle? How about a UV self filtering one?

This is the Nutrality Store UV Filtered 500ml Aluminium In Black, Measures 20.7 x 5.8 x 7cm, Weighs 397g (unfilled), Also Available In Blue, Pink Or White

This bottle is solid, you get double wall insulation, screw cap and will fit in most cup holders due to it’s cup width design. This will keep fluids warm for 12 hours and will keep fluids cool for a good 24 hours.
The flow is good, as the neck is wide and will fit the chunkiest ice in.
When you first use, you will need to wash thoroughly, not dishwasher safe.
To use the functions press cap once to see temperature, press twice to set 1hr alarm drink reminder (it beeps) and hold for UV filter which will take 3 minutes. You will get 60 UV filters out of a single 3hr charge.
Not too sure of the science behind it, could be handy when going abroad but all water in the UK is fairly safe, no real nasties besides recycled waste water from rivers and lots of fluoride.

Overall I would recommend this bottle, as its a modern looking bottle and keeps me cool and reminds me to stay hydrated.

Modern techy bottle, with added UV filte

Lovely looking bottle and great concept. I have no way to know if it really does purify water so I have given it a 4.We need some lab certified evidence that it really does clean up the water.
The idea is wonderful and it is attractive and rechargeable . I could be used hiking or in the home if there id an emergency water problem which could happen.
As a bottle it is very attractive and stainless steel. Lovely to carry … I will wait to see proof before i try to drink stream water from it. Love the concept.

This is an amazing company, their products are state of the art. They use the same UVC-LED light that hospitals use to sterilize their equipment. Which kills germs It has different features on it for a quick clean and a longer clean for river water or water that you think is a little sketchy and it self-cleans. A really good product with a great company to stand behind it. This is a very smart bottle in both looks and features as it can tell you the temperature via the LCD

One quick tap on the lid and the bottle cleans for 60 seconds and then auto cleans every 2 hours.

I use it every day, sometimes leaving water in for quite a while and it always smells fresh and clean.

It’s really comfortable to hold and sturdy stood on a surface.

Another pro is the lip, it makes it so much easier and more comfortable to drink from than other metal bottles I’ve had.

Battery life on the standard setting is about a month and it charges in am hour or so.

    It also comes nicely presented

Undoubtedly pricey but it’s quality is obvious and keeps your water fresh and bottle clean.

This is a very sleek and stylish water bottle with the added advantage of the self-cleaning function, which will be really useful when travelling, camping etc or if you’re just not too confident in the quality of the tap water. To activate the cleaning function you just press the screen on the top of the lid and it start to count down from 180 seconds. It also has a reminder function to remind you to have a drink every 90 minutes.

There’s a cable supplied for charging the bottle. You can’t put it in the dishwasher but as it’s self cleaning that doesn’t really matter.

I was very intrigued ordering this water bottle and haven’t been disappointed in the slightest- it does far more than I expected.

Comes packaged well, with instruction manual and charging lead (without plug). The bottle itself is a lovely shade of pink (appears other colours options are available) with a nice weight to it- not too heavy even when filled.

The smart lid at the top has a space for charging. I couldn’t find anywhere in the manual about how long to charge it for so I went with two hours and that seems to have done the trick. Upon reading the description it says that it can sterilise water up to 60 times with a full charge so I imagine I’ve got a way to go before recharging this.

The smart lid tells you the temperature of the water inside the bottle. Also if you tap it twice you can set an alarm to remind you to drink- I personally like this extra feature as I get forgetful to drink when working. The alarm will sound after 90 minutes as a little beep (not overly loud where you couldn’t have this in a quiet office) and the light on the lid will turn yellow.

To sterilise the water you press the top for a couple of seconds and sterilising will happen for 180 seconds (it has a count down so you know when to open the bottle). I so far have only sterilised tap water and you can definitely tell the difference.

Due to the sterilising, it states you will not need to clean the bottle as it won’t mould. I’m excited by this so time will tell.

I would have preferred the manual to have more information. I’ve had to google most things and still have some questions like “how much will it sterilise- like wild water when camping or murky water ect” or is it more for things like tap water? I’m sure some more googling will answer the question but I’d certainly want to know before taking this camping and using it with say stream or waterfall water if needed. I do think it’s lacking in providing information which is why I deducted a star.

Bar the lack of information, this is a great smart water bottle, that is more reasonably priced than a lot of others I’ve spotted on a google search.

Overall very impressed with this and happy to recommend.

This is a very smart bottle in both looks and features as it can tell you the temperature via the LCD on the top which is a nice feature and handy as we have been using this for hot water to add to babies’ bottles when out and about, all in all, very smart, no leaks and works as described, very happy with it.

I love the design. I love the pink colour. I can see the temperature of my drinking water. It sterilises your water and also reminds you when to have a drink. What’s not to love. Perfect.

I was concerned about constant use of plastic bottles and safety for myself and for the impact it has on the environment. I made a decision not to use plastic bottles anymore and thought this would be a great way to start.
Very simple to use, fill the container, press and hold the top, and shake the bottle a bit to be sure all the water is being purified. The container is sleek, a bit heavier than I thought, but definitely worth the cause to reduce plastics in the environment. I use this for fresh, clean daily water. I’m planning to purchase another for my daily hot tea since this container holds both hot and cold liquids.
    Highly recommend!!

Interesting product that for the cost and intended purpose I would expect to see some sort of Lab based certification and data on the effectiveness.
Design wise it’s a nice looking bottle with a clean display and whilst it has a 500ml capacity I measured this and it fills up to past the bottle neck so the lid will push out some water.
The operation is easy enough and the UV function has safety features that stop the process if the lid is removed.
I hope it functions as advertised and only time will tell but to be honest I think i will still wash this out regularly with washing up liquid!

Quite a nice sleek bottle. I think this idea is pretty cool, I do a fair bit of outdoorsy stuff and there has been times when our water has been running a little low and might be an hour or so away from a potential source of clean water. No big deal you can last an hour, but it might be nice to get some from a stream and use this to clean it. It could be really useful for people going abroad to countries who’s water quality might not be up to the UK standard.
Easy to use just fill the bottle and press the top for a couple of seconds to start the UV cleaning sequence, it takes 180 seconds and the dial counts down. If you remove the lid halfway through then the process stops and you’ll have to start over.
It also has a drink reminder alarm which will alert you every 90 mins to have a drink. The bottle seems leakproof in a flask sort of way as well so should be ok to stash in a bag.

What a fantastic water bottle the bottle look very sleek, the top is digital has few fonctions like time remainder to drink water it also flash different colours for different settings.

I love that the bottle is rechargeable I have changed it for 3 hours the first time and so far didn’t need to change it again it hold the charge very well.

It is UB filtered and has a countdown timer when it is in this setting. I love it highly recommend to try.

I worry about a lot of things but not being prepared for every eventuality is probably what worries me the most so when I can own products like this – it helps me feel a little bit more in control.

I only drink water but have often found myself in situations such as travelling abroad, going to festivals or just out on long walks, where I need a drink but am not 100% sure what I’m drinking is entirely suitable.

This bottle will hopefully eliminate, or greatly reduce, that anxiety.

The bottle arrived with no charge but I plugged it in for an hour via the provided USB cable and while the instructions state 3 hours for a full charge, an hour appears to have given me 2/3 of a charge, give or take.

Operating the screen to sterilise the water is very simple – you touch the screen once to turn it on and then press and hold the screen for 2 seconds to activate the UV. It then counts down from 180 seconds (3 minutes), after which, your water is supposedly sterilised. This process does warm the water and the temperature will then be displayed on the screen but I just left it sit for a bit and it was fine.

I like the added feature of the 90 minute reminder to encourage you to drink at regular intervals (not an issue in my case, but for a lot of people, drinking water is a bit of a chore!).

Beyond the simple and effective operation of this bottle, aesthetically it’s very appealing. There are a number of colours to chose from and the shape and finish of the bottle also add to the overall pleasing look of a practical object.

I’m so far very satisfied with my bottle and I imagine I’ll get a lot of use from it.

I like to feel prepared and this bottle helps quench that thirst.
