My baby sister (25) wanted a CD player and had a list of things she wanted after some research I found this was a bit pricey but it great she loved it. She loves the colour blue and with her ASD was important it could connect to Bluetooth and her phone to blue her special music when needed.
Good value for money. The sound quality is good so is the volume. It’s easy for use (once you get used to the controls). I love the electric blue colour as well. The only disappointment is that the CD lid is rather stiff and you have to be careful when opening it.
I am very glad l went for this British radeo /cd player it realy does sound fantastick. It looks good in all black and is easy to controle with buttons. It scans radeo stations and stores them for you .This cd is best sounding i have ever had all for around 50. Would recomend to anyone without a dout Alan.
Bought for my 7 year olds birthday, easy for her to use, love the bluetooth function, can be used with large batteries (not included). wirelessly. Shes chuffed that its pink (her favourite colour) and sound is good enough for her to happily sing all day long her to Frozen soundtrack at top volume……maybe I didn’t think this through properly…

Lightweight, and easily portable cd/music player. Good sound quality and controls are easy to understand. It is good for the price and there is the choice of battery or mains, which is useful.
Player is quite compact and light so easy to ‘knock’. Sound quality is very good for a small machine but max volume, ..ok for in house use but I bought it to use while on turbo trainer and background noise means have to use it on max vol, which just works, however it does mean that it will not ever become a nuisance noise in the house.
There is no remote control and the lid for the CD is extremely stiff and clunky.
It is fairly easy to change between the various modes and the radio is easy to find different stations.
The sound quality is ok, could be better.
Overall worth the price just don’t expect a fantastic product.

In a time where getting value for money is increasingly rare and increasingly important, Majority audio is a company that offers it in spades.
I am an audiophile who loves music and technology. Usually my budget limits my urges to purchase new equipment.
I have purchased a number Majority audio products and they have hit the sweet spot between supplying quality equipment at very reasonable prices.
For my latest purchase, I wanted an audio player for my garage, where I use a running machine everyday.
I purchased the Majority Oakcastle BX200 Bluetooth Boombox as it was very versatile and could play music via Bluetooth via my phone (Amazon Music) via my extensive CD collection and via Aux, USB. As a bonus there is also an FM Radio .
The item arrived quickly via Amazon and was packaged really well. On opening the box, I was very impressed with the solid build quality and the retro look of the boombox. I opted for the black colour and did not regret it as it is a very classical look.
I turned the unit on and first tested out the Bluetooth function. I linked quickly to my iPhone and played Amazon Music through the Boom Box. The sound was surprisingly good based on the dimensions of the BX200 and the price point. The Bluetooth connection was stable and remained playing after I walked out of room with the iPhone in my pocket.
I then tested the CD player function. I played a Queen CD and the sound was slightly better than from Bluetooth. Very impressed with the bass and clarity of Freddie voice.
I next tested the USB element and played some Northern Soul via the USB port. Again, I was very impressed with the sound quality I experienced.
I then set up the FM radio and found it easy to set up pre set channels for my favourites. You can set up 20 pre-sets. The manual supplied was a great help and made the process very simple.
The unit can be used on either battery or mains and this allows you to take the boom box with you when you are on the move. The battery life on the unit is 15 hours of playtime.

I was surprised how easy the Boombox connected to my phone via Bluetooth whilst I was testing it out for her. The music apps played very easily through the Boombox. It is only early days yet but on first impressions, its great.

Great item, my dad is old school so still uses CDs bought him this for his man cave he’s happy
