This is a great monitor to have if you want REALLY good quality picture in a portable monitor. It has a high price tag but if you are the type of person who needs that second monitor with a strong resolution this is good. The image looks really nice and sharp. This works really well for me and my surface book pro. In terms for size, it is a little thicker than other portable monitors due to the back piece being where you plug the ports in. The main screen is pretty small and the device is itself is relatively light for something like this. It also fits in my backpack which is great although I did get a laptop sleeve for it just to be protective. You are able to power it via type c to type c (video works through this as well) or you can use type c to USB A but you will need to connect video via mini HDMI to HDMI. I would recommend just using type c to type c as this allows you to get video and power in one cable rather than two. You get touch as well if you use type c to type c. You need to plug in another cable for touch if you are using the HDMI route. It does utilize a standard hdmi which is different from other portable monitors that use mini HDMI to plug into. It also uses mini displayport in order to get video. It can be powered pretty much by any USB port plug from what I can tell. I tried it with my gaming console USB and it worked fine. There were no issues with video quality from what I can tell. It does come with internal speaker. For the most part, the volume is pretty decent but not the best. It gets the job done for what I need it to especially when I am on the go. You are able to get pretty good video quality 4k out of this. But you do need something that is capable of 4k output. The controls are okay. The picture was pretty fluid and I did not strain my eyes play games on this. I also use it with my work laptop when I need to work remote. I am able to have two monitors pretty much at all time. It does come with a kick stand so you can prop this up. I The screen itself is not that easy to get finger prints on but I do feel it can get scratched pretty easily. I would wipe it down with just a micro fiber cloth if need. The touch capability is on point. I have had no issues with the touchscreen being inaccurate or needing to be calibrated. I also do not have to press down hard on the screen which is great. It works great for those long car trips as well if you want to set up a game station in the back seat. You can power this on using the car USB or battery pack and you are ready to go. The outer casing is not bad but that bulge in the back can be a tad annoying but at least the cables do not get in the way. The sound quality is okay. The speakers are on the back with the ports. You are not going to be getting the best sound quality due to portability but it works for what I need it to. I can still game on this which is good. Overall this is a good monitor to have for a secondary or travel screen. You are able to plug in gaming consoles or computers. The computer will automatically detect it. It does not require a ton of power so you can pretty much use any USB port. I also have used this as a mobile repair monitor. The touch capability is nice but it does not work for video games consoles so be aware of that. The only down side is there is no monitor cover carrying case.

The only issue I can see is that the stand doesn’t rotate to help use it in portrait mode.

I carried out much research before purchasing this monitor and I am very pleased that I bought one. I have two Dell Precision PCs. One is about 8 years old running Windows 10 & the other is new running Windows 11. I decided to use both PCs with the older one being used both independently and as a file server. Both PCs are high spec. with 4K DP outputs. The newer one will handle 8K. I use the newer PC for video editing. Both PCs connect to a 27″ professional and calibrated monitor. Now: do I use a KVM, or opt for a second but smaller monitor. I chose the latter. I setup the Magedok monitor alongside the 27″ with both displaying the output from the older Dell. The results were stunning from the Magedok . The colour hue, saturation & brightness were identical to the professional monitor, but since the Magedok is OLED the blacks were far better than the professional monitor being LED (LCD). Screen response was very quick and definition pin point sharp. Other reviewers made comment about some shading problems & lack of brightness, I did NOT notice any such artifacts. This is a well thought out, designed and built monitor and a rarity to have a mini DP input included.

I chose this for a travel screen for my kids to use with their switch, and for them to be able to see the screen clearly from any angle when they’re playing multiplayer games. This screen has very bright, crisp colors, decent sound quality, and works perfectly with their game system. The touch screen is very responsive, and works to satisfaction.

This portable screen has all of the functionality that is needed for a travel monitor, and the image quality is quite beautiful. I also like this screen for using with a mini-PC while out on road trips, and it connects just as easily to a Windows 11 PC as it does to the Switch. I like that the screen has rubber treads on the bottom, as well as a kickstand to keep it stable when placed on a table or desk. This screen is a good size for travel without sacrificing the visual experience.

This monitor comes very securely nestled in a sturdy box, and even includes a neoprene protective sleeve along with all of the needed cords and charger, and a three year warranty. The user manual isn’t written in the best English, but it is understandable.

So far I’m happy with this monitor for a travel setup or a needed extra screen when called for.

This is such a high end monitor! I’ve been pleasantly surprised with all the features.

IMAGE QUALITY: The OLED panel produces an amazing quality picture. It is so vibrant and it makes my Latitude laptop monitor look low end.

RESOLUTION: This is some crazy high resolution: 3840×2160. The pixels are so crazy small that the text and images are so crisp and clear. The pixels are so tiny that I adjusted it on my laptop to 200% scale to make it comfortable.

TOUCH: What a surprise to have a touch feature — it works very well in my testing assuming that you’re using a proper USB-C cable.

SPEAKER: They didn’t stop with those features, it has a speaker as well! It’s comparable to my laptop’s built-in speakermaybe even a little bit better, but it is coming from behind the monitor.

CONNECTIONS: It has a full-sized HDMI port, two USB-C ports and a miniDP port. I primarily use it with my Latitude 7310 laptop with the included USB-C cable only. This powers the monitor, connects the touch feature and pushes the video signal. The USB-C cable that was included stopped working after a few uses, but I had another that works fine. NOTE: there are many types of USB-C to USB-C cables and this is a special one.

MENU: The menus can be really challenging on monitors. The nice thing with this model is that you can hit the menu bottom and then use the touch screen.

STAND: The stand is just a simple arm on the back on the monitor — it’s a nice design and works better than another brand portable monitor that I have. This allows a huge variety of angles.

LITTLE TOUCHES: There are rubber strips along the bottom of the monitor and stand that keep it from moving.

I also tested with my iPhone and an HDMI adapter — that worked well, too.

This is a great monitor — I’m really enjoying it.

Hotep family. The screen is very nice. I feel it’s a little heavy on the price. But I like the fact that it works with a PC or a Mac. Although I’ve never tried it on a Mac. I haven’t used it outside, but inside it works just fine and being a touch screen gives me added Peace of Mind. I recommend my friend. Thank you for looking at my review. I hope it is helpful for you. If it was, please let me know by simply checking the helpful box below. God bless you. May the rest of your life be the best of your life. Baba Oran Z

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis monitor delivers the outstanding contrast that OLED is known for, from true blacks to 300-nit whites, but it also has the all-too-common uniformity issues of small OLED panels. E.g., if I’m running an app with a solid gray background, some areas are noticeably brighter/darker than others. The instruction manual says the unevenness is normal, but it’s still somewhat disappointing (and hard to ignore after being noticed).

Colors are vibrant and highly exaggerated, but they can and should be tamed by lowering the Saturation setting (35 looked good to me). The monitor offers a 6500K white preset for an in-the-ballpark level of accuracy, but professionals will definitely want to calibrate this screen with appropriate equipment. The monitor seems to offer some degree of HDR support, but my Xbox deemed it insufficient for HDR gaming.

Touch functionality works well and was completely plug-and-play on my Windows 11 PC. The touch digitizer is fully bonded to the OLED panel, which nicely prevents the “screen door” effect/distortion that can appear on non-bonded touchscreens. The screen surface is glossy and reflective, so it isn’t great outdoors or near bright lights.

A built-in kickstand offers an excellent range of continuous adjustment (not just a few preset angles), and it’s good at keeping the monitor stable when you’re using it as a touchscreen. Sadly, there are no VESA mounting holes for attachment to a monitor arm, nor can the screen be used easily in portrait orientation. Control buttons are inconveniently located at the rear/middle of the monitor. Fortunately, the OSD supports touch control, but an awkward reach is still required to bring up the menu.

Overall, this is a decent 4K OLED monitor, but for such a high price, I would have liked to see better out-of-box color accuracy, VESA mounting holes, and HDR gaming compatibility.

Vibrant and ultra-sharp picture, but controls and uniformity could be bette

This screen comes with a neoprene sleeve case, USB-C and HDMI cables and a power supply.
It’s very thin, with a small box added in the back for the electronics, along with an adjustable arm to hold it up.
I just plugged the USBC to USBC cable into my M1 MacBook Pro and it immediately extended the display, looking gorgeous. To my surprise, the touchscreen works perfectly on the Mac.
There’s very little to criticize, but for a travel monitor I would want a solid plastic or metal cover to protect the fragile screen surface; the neoprene case is not sufficient — especially considering the astronomical price. Other than that, this monitor is the one to beat.

I’ve been so impressed by the color and saturation used by this tablet. Although this is just an extension of my laptop, it seems to have superior visibility and picture quality than my actual PC. I am using a 2020 Macbook Pro which also has photo editing features, but the brightness and color density don’t compare. I use this for photo and video editing mostly because it is nice to have touch features for small touch ups, but I have been so impressed by how easy it is to adjust the settings and use a stylus for sensitive edits. It is easy to connect to a PC, monitor, or laptop with just plugging in one cord. Truly, the directions could not be easier to follow and the set up is a breeze– just plug in and you’re ready to go! It comes in secure packaging and arrives without a scratch on it. Additionally, the screen is relatively scratch proof as well even using a stylus frequently. It is thin and lightweight which makes it easy to store and travel with. If you are editing on the go like I am for my job, this feature is ideal and adds to the sleekness of the technology.

Unfortunately, it does not work very well in the sun. Living in LA, I do a lot of my work outside on sets as well as outside for fun on weekends when I’m shooting my own creative content. This screen does not deflect from the harsh light from the sun and doesn’t have any built in shading or dimming features that are at all useful when working outside. This is a problem for editing because you need to be able to see every nuance in your editing work. This is something to consider if you like to bring your work outdoors!

Overall, the device itself works well and doesn’t have any software or hardware issues. It will respond to the connection between the PC and itself and has nice touch screen technology. Be wary of working outdoors or in brightly lit areas as your editing won’t come out as you planned, but overall, I recommend this screen!

Right around the turn of the century, I had met Ching Wan Tang at Kodak research labs, and he was showing us an OLED TV inside a room. I had read that with an OLED screen one can look at it almost 180 degrees and still be able to see images, and also OLED screens are much more visible under sunlight. I couldn’t test the latter in that room that day, but the almost 180-degree view was fascinating. Finally, I got a chance to see an OLED screen under sunlight with this product, and I must say I am disappointed. You can hardly see anything under sunlight! But it is a good monitor in a darker environment and very responsive.
