They work.
Some US sockets though are often quite ‘loose’ especially in older hotels/houses so sometimes they can fall out, this isn’t a fault of this item really. If you’re using heavier items, it is worth having a 3-pin as well one as well, as the 3 pin sockets hold in the wall a lot better (but obviously only if there’s a 3 pin socket).
These are good quality travel plugs to take away to the US. I took them as wanted to plug in my hair straighteners which have a UK plug. They worked fine.
These plugs are quite affordable at 6 for two, delivered.
I like that they can do up to 3KW, so they are suitable for hairdryers and for connecting multiplugs.
When travelling I tend to pack a few small adapters such as these, along with a UK 6 plugs adapter, to which I connect my numerous gadgets and chargers.
3KW is enough to connect my laptop and several chargers/devices plus a small travel hairdryer and run it all at the same time, so they work well for my purposes.

Great item! Haven’t used as yet as its for holiday but feels good quality and hopefully does the job!
