I recently tested out the Taie Hyung Portable Blackout Blind and I’m impressed with its features. When I’m at someone else’s house they are not equipped for opthalmic or otherwise so this is great.
Very simple to put up and take down and fits right in your suitcase.
This would fit in my larger handbag actually.

We took this on holidays as my son has a large black out blind in his bedroom. This was easy to fit and the suction cups held all weekend. It’s really portable and folds down well. Good product, would recommend.
I really like this black curtain because it prevents the light from entering my son’s room when he sleeps.The dimensions of the curtain are 130*200 cm and can be placed in any way,horizontally or vertically.The curtain is placed through a strong self- adhesive and it is very easy because it can be understood very easily from the manual that is in the package and there is no need for a drill.In the package there was also a bag in which we can keep it stored and it is not too big soo doesn’t take a lot of place at home.I would recommend it.
I have this portable blackout blind in 130cm x 200cm size.
It arrived folded in the storage pouch with everything needed to mount it.
I found it easier to fix than I tought it would be.
Fabric is of a good quality, quite thick.

Handy portable black out blind, so you can make any room darker to aid sleep. Works pretty well, though I did find it a bit fiddly to put it up.
Good sized blackout curtain for your window or door, comes in its own little travel pouch, keeps everything together for easy storage too.
You get a pack of rings and a pack of suction pads that the rings attach to, is a bit of a fiddly job to do.
Once you fitted the rings and suction pads you can just attach to any window, there are numerous fixings so you can attach to different width windows, you can fold in half like I did to cover the door window, I didn’t do a great job, but you get the idea, great light blocker, brilliant for taking abroad with you too, very versatile.

Decent quality black out blind. I like that it is portable and easily attached to various different windows if needed. The velcro patches are a more permanent solution but i found they didn’t stick too well. I preferred the suction cups as they can be attached and removed whenever you want however they were fiddly to attach at first. It is a little pricey for what you get and I found it impossible to re-insert the blind back into the travelling pouch as it’s way too small.
OK, so blackout blinds aren’t really blinds! Ignore that though, and you have a really useful sheet of balckout material that you can install in 3 different ways with the kit provided:
1 suction cups – these work really well if you want to use it as a portable blind that you can attach to a window anywhere, with only a bit of light escaping around the edges
2 Velcro strips – this gives a very close finish and the blackest effect, but the strips obviously have to be permanently attached
3 Rings – ideal for a semi-permanent approach where you hang at home but can still take it off if you want to use it elsewhere though you get light leakage around the edges when using rings
Good quality total black out blinds, came nicely packaged with all the tools you need for attaching .

This blackout blind is very lightweight. It folds up small, making it very potable. The blind is quick and easy to put in place and to put away again when not in use. The blind is completely opaque. No light at all passes through the screen. The blind is very robust. Having a health condition which regularly causes extreme light sensitivity, this blind is highly appreciated. Reasonably priced.

I got this to cover window area in my mancave/streaming room. I works very well stopping my lighting escaping outside and the day light coming in. Im using the velcro which allows me to fasten to the PVC of the window reather than the sucktion which only works better on the glass.
Ideal for travelling, night workers or if you have a window that has bright sunlight during the day. Comes with suction hooks and velcro adhesive strips. The suction hooks hold the blind reasonably firmly as you can’t really use the velcro strips on a hotel window, although it does allow in small amounts of light if you don’t stretch the blind tight enough. Well stitched around the edges with good eyelets. Complete with a storage bag. Certainly helps with darkening the room after a night shift.
The school behind our house has upgraded its security floodlights, roughly to nuclear explosion level – meaning the window to one bedroom is in constant twilight despite curtains hanging. This blackout has reduced that hugely covering most of the window and blocking out almost all light. It was a little fiddly to fit, partly because of the position of the window and height of ceilings, but once up it is an asset. Guests are likely to sleep a lot better in the future.
I suppose ultimately, the only thing that matters about this is that it blocks out light. And this it does very well the only caveat that is how you get it up and installed where you need it.
This plan comes with a couple of different options, you can either use Velcro, which is sticky and therefore pretty permanent or or you can use suction pads and ring loops.
I got this for travel as hotels can be a bit hit and miss with the curtains, and my son finds it hard to sleep. If there is too much light, so using the sticky Velcro isn’t an option that’s fine by me because I didn’t find the sticky held, particularly well, when attached to the blackout blind itself.
Using the pads and loops make is a better option for me, but it was tricky to thread the loops onto the curtain and it does have a tendency to droop. But overall it did the job as advertised. It’s just a little features that let it down such as having a really small storage bag that it’s nearly impossible to fit back in, having some loose threads around the edge, and the stickiness, not being that intense.
Love it as I can use it in my van !and not only ! Has good length and its quite usefull as its keeps the sun out and gives privacy.
