I needed an extra monitor for my new work laptop and bought this, and it’s ideal. Good value, but just what I needed – small and portable, but decent quality and easy to set up. I would highly recommend.
Ticked all the boxes. Good quality, bright screen and perfect as a small video monito
Work really well, great Gaming experience, also you only need one charging cable to power both , it looks nice and bright with a sharp picture.all cables are included, the sound is not the best but I use headphones.
…emphasis on the ‘little’. This screen is small and high res. Fortunately, most modern operating systems can scale the UI size up per monitor. Display is bright and crisp, to the point where several colleagues have commented on it. Works equally well in portrait or landscape mode, though, like all monitors, it does not autorotate – the form factor feels like a small tablet so I was caught out a few times expecting it to rotate!
I have personally tested this with a Dell Inspiron laptop, over USB-C and HDMI, as well as with a MacBook Pro M1 (over USB-C) and a very old Mac Mini (over HDMI) – all works fine. The Mac Mini, being 10+ years old, needed an extra bit of software to cope with the unusual 1920×1280 dimensions (SwitchResX). The newer machines took it in their stride.
The screen requires power over USB-C *if* you’re using HDMI. If you’re only connecting the monitor over USB-C then it is powered through the same cable. I dipped into the built-in settings to have a look – brightness control seems to be difficult to change, but the default brightness works for me anyway.
The cover is decent, but it’s a bit finnicky to turn it into a stand. However once you figure it out it’s good enough. There appear to be screw holes on the back for VESA mounting, though I have not tried this yet.
I normally shy away from no-name purchases but this has been pleasantly surprising and a very useful, multipurpose portable HDMI screen.
I have a few NUC and SBC systems that I carry around during my travels and a small half-sized rack at home that sometimes needs local administration.
This little screen is fabulous for all of that. It’s small, connects to USB-C and HDMI and it just fdoes what’s printed on the tin. Short: I love it! Full HD is more than enough for 10″ screen.
It’s a little bit small for continuous use, but nobody is expecting it to be the only screen to look at for 8 hours.
But – for the intended purposes – it’s great!
I can’t get to my desk at the moment because of some building work and my usual extra screen is fixed on a screen mount. I got this as a compact extra screen to use with my laptop on the dining room table.
It is really impressive with a bright sharp image, the pixel resolution is higher than my laptop’s 1080 x 1920, it has 1280 x 1920 so about 20% more screen area
The image is a 100 x 101 screenshot of today’s Bing wallpaper which occupied about 1 sq cm on the screen I blew it up and you can count 100 pixels along the side so I think the resolution is genuine.
It can be powered up from on of my laptops USB port and the video connection is HDMI (sadly my laptop won’t do video over USB C without a DisplayPort docking station)
As others have said the brightness control doesn’t work but that is not a big deal for me.
I can recommend this especially with the current voucher and offer price which makes it excellent value
It connects to the Macbook with ease and the ease of use is amazing. Very good screen quality.
I bought this for use with my Steam Deck on the go. I already have a much more expensive portable display but that one is 17 inches and a little too large for this purpose. This one however is the perfect size for throwing in a small backpack with my Steam Deck.
The display is sharp even at 720p using my Steam Deck. The pixel density at 10.5 inches is just right. Colours are vibrant even without HDR enabled, and the brightness is perfectly adequate for what I’m using it for. The display is slightly glossy so I wouldn’t use it outside though.
It can be used with just the USB-C cable, but If I wanted to charge the Steam Deck at the same time, they have you covered here too. Using a USB-C hub with passthrough power delivery I can connect this display with USB-A to USB-C and run a HDMI to Mini HDMI to the display. Both cables are also included.
The only downside I can think of is the brightness control doesn’t seem to do anything, however the default brightness is perfectly bright enough.
Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this display. Especially for the price. I was expecting junk, but what I got was actually a quality product.
No power cord needed if using TB port. Needs power if using HDMI. Used it with iPad Pro & stage manager. Worked well
This is a great screen to hook up to a switch while out and about on holiday. The picture was really good and the colour was great and was easy to set up you can change the brightness to your preferred setting. It came boxed and protected well so there was no damage and there I a cover for the screen when not in use great to pop in a bag.
Wish I had discovered this years ago. 1/10th cost of using an iPad Pro as a monitor via Apple’s clever tech in MacOS.
Build and image quality is excellent. Connects to our M1 Macbook Pro using just one USB-C cable. Only con is that the two way joystick like menu control for making adjustments is flaky. However it’s already setup right for our needs so not really a problem.
As a second screen that is bought as a cheap option, it is great, the quality is not superb but what can we expect for a bit over a hundred quid. The screen works well in all sorts of ways for work but for entertainment, it just lacks power in the sight and sound department, for me that makes it a bit of a shabby second for gaming.
All in all though, its a good bit of kit, it really will do everything you want it to do but it is quite easy to see that it is less than premium.
Been using this in the car, With one kid, I just gave them my old Samsung S8 plus to show the map of where we were. Think of it like what you have in a plane.
Well the second kid has decided he is now old enough for the same thing and no way I’m buying another phone.
Installation was easy enough, Clip it to a holder, add power via usb-c. For the feed, use the usb-c to usb-c cable that comes in the box. you then have a choice, You then you need to change the phone so it mirrors the phone screen and boom. Dual displays.
Nice touch with this is that the power is a pass through, so it charges your phone at the same time.
Two happy kids
This in nice size monitor , This 10.5 inch monitor is equipped with HDR, Freesync and low bluelight technology
When you play games, low bluelight protects your eyes, HDR restores real scenes and colors, and Freesync technology can ensure that the game screen is free from lag and tearing, allowing you to immerse yourself in the game and enjoy the joy of the game.
In addition, it can also be used to watch movies, and it can also be used as a secondary screen of the computer to expand your working space.
It’s portable and lightweight that you can carry it anywhere.
Whether you’re mobile gaming or looking to mirror your phone for movies or work etc, this FHD 10.5″ IPS monitor delivers in spades.
It’s both well made and well thought out with its USB C connectivity and its impressive crystal clear screen that provides a great palette of vibrant realistic colours which are a feast for the senses when fully utilised. There is no discernable input lag or screen tearing at 60hrz and gaming is particularly enjoyable when paired with my Sony Xperia 1 IV as the monitor is more than capable of keeping up with its unrivalled gaming power. It’s also great for mirroring movies and provides the same vibrancy and realism which makes it a pleasant experience viewing overall.
I have been using it over the last couple of weeks and have now installed it in our camper trailer where it has provided us with a discreet and practical viewing solution that takes up little space and weighs very little which is a must.
In summary, it’s a great little monitor at a reasonable price point that doesn’t disappoint so I’m more than happy to recommend it.
This is a very portable monitor and still HD with a nice vivid image and good viewing angles, with full SRGB colour range it could easily be used as a quick and easy portable image editing monitor, and would also make for a perfect portable gaming monitor for consoles too, I have no complaints at all it’s a really neat monitor, very happy with it.
This is a nice-sized display that has a tablet-style presentation, along with an origami-like smart case for multiple stand positions. It comes with a generous selection of cables, and has a good fit and finish.
I’ve been using this variously as a second screen on my iMac and as a main portable display for the Nintendo Switch. It functions great in both cases, and is a really nice option. It does have a limited maximum brightness, which is most notable when it’s side-by-side with the iMac, so I’d say that it is best considered a second screen rather than a primary display – but it’s perfectly functional.
As well as the limited brightness there are some slightly frustrating compatibility options. It syncs perfectly (via HDMI/Lightning cable) with my iPhone, with screen-mirroring, but when it comes to playing a Fitness+ video it refuses. I don’t know if this is a firmware issue with the display or an Apple-side restriction. Either way it’s frustrating as the screen would be a perfect solution to showing that content.
The screen quality is perfectly useable and looks bright enough and clear enough. Watching a movie on it doesn’t have the same colour depth or sharpness I’m used to on a 4k tv but that’s not the primary use for this, it’s perfectly fine using this in a caravan as a tv.
The sound isn’t great at all, it’s like laptop speakers lacking power and bass, as soon as I turned up a zoom call it all got a bit nasty sounding.
For 140 it’s an ok buy if you’re after a second portable screen, the build quality does not seem premium and the buttons don’t feel that good so not sure how long it will last but at the moment it’s working fine.
