It has stopped the condensation on the windows which we used to get pretty badly.
No louder than a fan and barely noticeable in terms of bills.
I can’t believe how well it works.
I’m so happy with this dehumidifier, thought I should have bought it years ago, would be much better, I use it every day sometimes day and night for different rooms , always can collect half tank or full tank of water , no dump smell / feel , very quiet, smaller than I thought but really does good job , I tested for nearly 2 months, it still works well like when it’s new , really helpful , definitely recommended.
Bought this because we wanted to put in in our loft and be able to control it using the WiFi. The unit is compact and is easy to move. The large tank is also another key feature.
Sadly the first unit we received did not work properly, but when we contacted the seller they shipped another unit without any fuss. This second unit is working very well and we are extremely pleased with our experience. Recommended 100%
Purchased this because I was fed up with getting up in the mornings and having to wipe the windows from condensation, particularly when I had washing on the upstairs landing. Extremely efficient, shuts off when water tank is full. Not overly noisy. Pleased with my purchase.
We have an old house that’s prone to damp and this year has been particularly bad because of the weather, and we are getting a few different types of mould as a result. We are using this mainly in 3 different rooms, and it’s small and light enough to easily move around. We have had no returning mould in those rooms.
Also worth saying not the most economical use but we have no ventilation in our kitchen and the walls and windows drip with condensation when we cook but if we have this unit running there’s absolutely no condensation on the windows. Definitely recommend.
Without yet knowing its longevity, I retain a sense of confidence in the product. It seems to be doing the job of getting humidity down quite quickly.
The compressor adds a noise level that borders on sleep-breaking, but I dare say that it is something one might get used to, but I will say this; it seems to bring the humidity down quite quickly and, so far, we are happy to go to bed with it off.
What’s it going to do to our energy bill remains to be seen, but it is programmable. We might program it to switch on during the low tariff nighttime hours…and learn to block our ears.
I don’t think I have the patience to learn all the fancy remote controlling via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Happily there doesn’t seem to be a need.
I bought this to help dry laundry rather than have the heating on unnecessarily, and also to help dry my damp bathroom which is prone to mould.
The unit is reasonably easy to use even without reading the manual. The buttons are sensitive so, for example, if your cat jumps on it, they will probably activate one or more of the buttons. The units is on wheels, making it easy to move around and not too heady to lift, even when the reservoir is full of water. When I was using it in the spring, I found I was emptying the unit once every two days. Now, in the summer, probably between 4-6 days and that is also partly because I don’t have it on for as long. Very efficient and not at all noisy. I sometimes have it on during the night and it doesn’t disturb anybody even though it is right outside the bedroom. A good unit for a reasonable price.
We have this running overnight in our kitchen during winter. Clothes hung up in there dry in a day or so and we don’t get any condensation around. Removes about a 1 – 1.5L of water in about 5 hours. Just have to remember to empty every day or it’ll stop.
built in timer is only “turn on/off in x minutes” so not useful – but it does work perfectly with a plug timer if you leave the unit itself switched on. We have it set to run during the hours when we have cheaper rate electricity.
This drags out moisture like someone coming out of a desert on their hands and knees. There are settings for constant and automatic, high and low fan speeds and will even connect to the WiFi should you be that way inclined. We replaced a different brand with this one and the results are night and day. The previous one would only take moisture out if the shower was left on creating a sauna like environment, this one frisks you at the door to check for any water you might be trying to smuggle in. If you want to reduce moisture in your house then buy this. If you want singing to sleep buy a music box. On low speed the fan noise is hardly noticeable, so that’s good for night time. It runs like a compressor fridge so occasionally you get that extra noise, so put it in a position that isn’t as the side of bed if you don’t want disturbing. The only other thing to mention is it has a defrost mode, which has you running for the handbook that you promised to read but didn’t. It looks like an error code but is just telling you its defrosting itself and is perfectly normal running conditions.
I have now since buying this dehumidifier also bought a smaller one 12L for upstairs it amazes me how quick it drys the clothes and how much water comes out of the house I have a 20L for down stairs and the make PROBREEZE is one of the best very reliable
After spending a small fortune on roofers, plumbers to locate a leak coming into dining room, (still not fixed) I’ve purchased this to try and alleviate my ceiling coming through, I’ve left it on each night for over a week. Its absolutely helped, its quite loud but not enough to send you into distraction, I’ve still not figured out how to set it up in WiFi, and likely just praying that turning it on and off, emptying the water tank often will suffice in these desperate times. It has definitely helped and worth the investment. You feel the air dry up quickly when its on full pelt. And I will be using this in winter to dry clothes quickly. Fingers crossed by then my leak that alludes any respectable roofer will be sealed and sorted!
In 6 hours 4l water collected, working fine ,but very loud and electric 10 quid used in one day ..can’t connect to phone ,because need 2.4ghz Internet,I’ve got 5ghz ,so can’t connect..
I bought the Pro Breeze 30ltr for my workshop, lots of damp been getting in and my lathe and tools are going rusty, also the wood on the walls are going mouldy despite cleaning them all about 5 months ago.
I put the Pro Breeze on high and within 24 hrs had 4ltrs, that was the first night and since then I’ve had over 30ltrs out of there and I’m getting between 3 & 4 LTRs a day. The humidity registers at 92 on the first turn on of the machine, after a week it’s down to 78 and I’m aiming for 65 or less. The workshop is looking a lot dryer I’ve wiped down all my tools and walls and it’s looking and feeling a lot more welcoming. The machine has been running non stop on high, I will turn it to low once the desired humidity is reached between 45 & 65. I have a Smart meter and it’s costing close to 2 for 24 hours non stop use on high. For me this is well worth the money as my tools are worth a lot more, I will not need to run it through the summer and will be turning it down soon, once the tank is full the machine switches off, or alternatively you could use the supplied pipe and run it into a larger container.
I highly recommend the Pro Breeze as I believe in the long run it will save me a lot of money.
We bought this to get washing dry indoors during the winter and to stop the rooms getting damp. We leave it on in a small room with the washing and close the door. It’s cheap to run and dries the clothes nicely. You can see the humidity reading clearly, showing how much moisture remains in the air. You can be confident in the knowledge that it will turn itself off when full, but if you maintain a good practice of emptying the easily removed container after each use, you won’t have to worry. It’s not dead quiet, how can it be when it has a fan and motor, but it’s not noisy, and if it does the job who cares anyway.
Had for couple of weeks now and have noticed less condensation on the windows in the room where we place it. We have a mid terrace 2 up 2 down and would say that we would probably one upstairs and one downstairs. Haven’t noticed electricity bills go up much so that is something
We moved to a new property in summer and realised as winter kicked in that this place is damp as hell. My laundry took forever to dry and when they did, they just smelled damp, and I absolutely hate wearing clothes that smell like they’ve just been thrown in a pile on the corner of the room to dry – ugh!
With the price of gas hiking up every time I blinked, I didn’t want to put the heating on too much. I bought a small dehumidifier but that didn’t seem to do the trick. Condensation on the windows were so bad, I had to keep opening the windows in the freezing cold. Which left me wrapped up in blankets working from home – not good!
Then I saw this and read the reviews and figured I’d try it for myself. I’ve had it nearly a month now and I am so impressed. My clothes take less than a day to dry. Condensation on the windows are practically non-existent. It’s slightly louder than I expected, but it doesn’t really bother me too much. You can set to your desired humidity level, so once it reaches that, it switches off – saving you money. Though it doesn’t cost a lot to run and I can actually see the bottom of my laundry basket every week! Huzzah!!!
AND the timer settings are perfect. If I do laundry in the afternoon/evening, I set the timer to stay on for 7 hours overnight, by morning my laundry’s dry. And the room smells like fresh laundry. The price might be a little steep, but well worth it, and definitely cost a lot less in the long run than running a tumble dryer or going to the laundrette.
Highly recommended!!!
Much smaller than what I had in use in Conservatory.
Very quiet & keeps the room dry.
I also use it to dry Laundry, but it takes much longer than what I used have, which is now discontinued.
The capacity of the water retaining is also not as much as I had with the previous one.
Found it’s a little tricky to remove/fix the reservoir. The reservoir container is not that stable to stand on the surface when draining it – spillage always happens.
I bought a dehumidifier around a year ago, a cheap one from Lidl, and it barely made any difference in my house apart from lots of noise so I felt quite disappointed.
This one has been incredible, first 2-3 nights it fully loaded the deposit (I had been accumulating some humidity in the walls as there were rainy days), from then it didn’t take that much water but that’s only because the entire house has been sucked dry by this machine, including my bathroom which is upstairs at the end of the hallway (and I have this downstairs, in the living room).
The cons? Well, some of my interior plants seemed to enjoy the humidity levels I had before much more and they immediately felt the new dry air, most died (though my lack of skill taking care of plants is also to blame). Also, I have a bunch of hydrometers and they all seem to agree that this device isn’t very accurate measuring humidity levels, it’s usually 5+ percentage points below reality, so I simply set it up to dry the air a bit more than I would to compensate.
I also love the Smart options as I can set night schedules (cheaper electricity) and as it dries the entire house from the living room the noise isn’t a big deal. It is noisy though, even the night mode would be a bit too noisy for my taste if I had it in my bedroom though maybe I would get used to it.
Just to note, while we sleep we close the bedroom doors so the bedrooms don’t get sucked dry like the rest of the house but during the day we open them so the air mixes and after weeks of doing night shifts little by little the entire house got dried up, even though this winter is one of the rainiest ones I can remember with weeks and weeks of nonstop rain, the house is currently around 50-60% humidity while without this we would be at 75%+
Oh, also, I did test it first in a bedroom and sucked it dry in 15-20 min, seriously fast and powerful. I’m very happy with it.
I have re-rated this device. It is quite economical to run, I suppose though that phrase has lost a lot of meaning given energy price inflation. It has certainly helped with the dampness in our kitchen. The only problem we have with it is the noise. Apart from that I have to say it is good at its intended job. I have gone from emptying the Reservoir 9 or 10 times a day to three times. Easy to set up and simple to use.
Have this running on automatic in a room with a fish tank. Used to have issues with condensation on the windows during the winter. Not any more, it’s quite amazing how much water this thing pulls out the air! It’s not the quietest but that’s not a huge issue for me as it’s probably not much louder than the pumps on the fish tank. Very pleased with it.
Amazing and easy to use and empty. Well worth money
Bought for a small flat. The humidity levels were consistently over 80% so the dehumidifier was a necessary purchase. Out of the box and working via the app in c. 5 minutes and 20 minutes later the moisture level had dropped by 10%. By day 3 it levelled out at less than 50% and the pump is now auto shutting off. It sits beside the shower so the (short) pipe leads straight into the floor outlet with a daily emptying of c. 4L. The room feels fresher, I am sleeping better (even with the pump running the first few nights) and the flat feels warmer.
Easy to use.
Feels useful when you can see how much water is collected in storage tank.
I bought this unit to help with the damp in the bathroom after having showers and it has done a fantastic job so far.
The condensation on the windows drys up very quickly and after a week of using it I have yet to notice any mould spots that I was having problems with previously.
I leave it in the hall way just outside the bathroom which is also close to the bedroom and when the fan is on the low setting it doesn’t disturb me when trying to sleep at all.
The bathroom feels much warmer in the mornings as well which is nice.
It has also done a very good job drying clothes and according to my smart meter is only cost 6p an hour which I am more than happy with.
If you suffer from condensation like I do and don’t have a well ventilated bathroom this is a must have as far as I am concerned.
Would highly recommend.
It’s really easy to use and it takes a lot of water from my rooms
Works as described,we us3 it for drying clothes and it works a treat and it’s far cheaper to run than the tumble dryer.
Had an issue with my first one but Daniella
From customer services was amaizing
She promised a pick up and replacement on the same day which really did happen
The replacement has been plugged in drying clothes and de misting my windows for 4 days now and must honestly say for a small quiet machine it works brilliantly
Can’t fault it at all
Thanks pro breeze and Daniella for her amaizing customer skills
Only been using a couple of months but it sucks A LOT of water from the air. Crazy how much moisture can build. We use it beside our clothes airer and it dries the stuff much faster. It does struggle go get below 65% humidity, but that could just be because we live in a damp house in Ireland!
It us a nice Humidifier. The only reason I rated with 4 stars is that can be a bit noisy. It doesn’t overly bother me but it can be annoying sometimes
Very neat small unit that is so good on energy and quiet in operation compared to my 22 year old Hotpoint/Ebac unit that does still run. Easy to set up and does actually appear to meet the specification. Once the set humidity level the fullmachine goes to standby mode monitoring and starting as required. The condence container is easy to remove and empty Hopefully it will be as reliable as my old one but will report further of any issues.
I needed a bigger dehumidifier to help dry my laundry. With 4 people in our house and not having the heating on as much due to cost of living, my laundry basket was piling high and taking days to dry indoors on the airer. I had a small dehumidifier but it just wasn’t cutting it. I put this dehumidifier on as soon as I received it and within 3 hours I was amazed at the volume of water it had collected. I had switched it off overnight and put it back on the next day and my laundry was dry by the end of the day. It had also collected a full tank of water. I’m so glad I purchased this, at 7p an hour to use it is a no brainer and I won’t need to use the tumble dryer any more which is a massive bonus. It’s simple to use, the fan is a bit noisy but it doesn’t bother me. I haven’t used it on sleep mode as we don’t have it on during the night. I have recommended it to friends and family who want to purchase too.
This has been excellent for me so far. I live in the ground floor flat of a converted Edwardian terrace house, typically damp during the winter. This year is already proving to be worse than the previous years and I was getting a lot of mould growing on the outside wall as well as on a lot of my things.
I got this unit because it looks quite nice and had timers and cut offs which I hoped would help with the energy usage a bit. I also really liked the LED display that showed you the Relative Humidity level in real time. When I first plugged this in, the room was 85% Humidity and within the first day it was down to 55% and the room was feeling much more comfortable. The tank was almost full by the time I went to bed that night. By mid way through the second day it had the room down to my target of 45% Relative Humidity and the cut off started working, turning it off until the % came back up to 48%, at which point it kicked in for about 10 minutes whilst it got back down to 42%. For me I much prefer this approach as opposed to a timer, as I sleep at quite different times day to day, so a timer is not that ideal for me. It does have a timer though and it is easy to set up, so if you want that functionality, then this is fine.
I have this in my bedroom and it is quite noisy to be honest. I think it’s about as quiet as a dehumidifier can be, but depending on how much trouble you have sleeping with background noises, you may have to switch it to sleep mode, which does cut the noise down significantly. Personally, I am a light sleeper and don’t generally like background noise, but I actually don’t mind this too much. It’s basically a soft fan noise, sort of a gentle white noise and I actually think a lot of people will find this actually quite relaxing. I guess it will differ from person to person, but I don’t think it’s so loud that it is a problem and I think most people will feel the same. I think size-wise it’s fairly convenient too, it’s not a small, portable unit, as in you can’t pop in on your bedside table, but it’s fairly compact still. It’s easy to empty, you just pull out the tank at the back and the unit shuts off automatically, and it also comes with a little hose for continuous drainage, though worth noting that the hose it comes with is only about 1m long. it is just a universal hose, however, so you could buy a longer one easily if you do need it.
Overall, I really like this unit. It has made a significant difference to my bedroom environment and I really should have bitten the bullet and got one ages ago, rather than trying to mess about with various products that might help for damp on a small scale, but do nothing for this sort of situation. It’s super easy to use, easy to set up timers and target humidity levels and the tank is quick and easy to empty.
This product does exactly as it says. We use it to help dry clothes quicker inside. Cheaper than tumble dryer.
It is quiet enough to put onto sleep mode and sleep. It’s fairly light although only one side has hand hole not both which would make it easier. It does wheel around so for picking up the hand hole helps to then grip entire device as wouldn’t move just using the space for the hand. It removes so much water and quickly yet is quiet enough to have on whilst watching TV. It’s very good value and a quality product. Highly recommend unless you need a lighter model which they do also sell. Such good quality and works incredibly well.
So pleased with Pro Breeze humidifier it was a good choice already can’t believe the amount of moisture removed after a short usage. Also seems to be economical with the electricity. Will make a difference this winter.
Have waited to write this review- am happy to say that I’m so pleased with this little unit! This is a powerful little machine that can bring humidity down from over 60 to under 50 in an hour. It seriously sucks a lot of water, then beeps clearly three times and stops when it’s full. (My space is about 190sq ft) I like to keep my humidity around 45, and it does the trick.
I’m super picky and sensitive to noise (musician and audio engineer)- and the sound is just fine for me. At first I wasn’t sure- as there is a slight audible tone to the white noise, which I wasn’t expecting, but I grew used to it in no time. I expect that the average person would just hear it as pleasant white noise. Have tried several units and can highly recommend this!
This Dehumidifier is fantastic, only had it a week and the amount of water it has removed is amazing, and I genuinely feel that my house feels warmer. I haven’t put my heating on, I’ve used it in all my rooms. Bathroom is normally freezing but after placing it in there for an hour it felt so much warmer. I have a small room that I use as a dressing room/ clothes store and often smelt a bit musky but not anymore after placing this machine in there for a day . The noise levels are low in my opinion. Highly recommend
Does what it is made to do but a little noisy!
Purchased this for a humid mouldy flat. After I cleaned up all the mold from walls, started using the dehumidifier and mold stopped reappearing even though it constantly appeared back before, even after cleaning well. At first it collected a lot of water, but after the walls became more dry, the humidity levels in the flat decreased and less water was collected. It’s a must if you live in a musty old house (even though we pay a fortune for rent) and don’t want to get ill from mould.
To stop the damp from laundry drying indoors settling on the windows
I left it in the box for 24 hours before using upright to allow any compressor oil to sit at the bottom (like when you buy a new fridge) just to be on the safe side – not sure if it’s needed but wouldn’t want to damage anything!. First thing I noticed was it take like 3 hours of continuous use to get going – probably because its all new and dry but once it’s running it pulls a lot of water out the air – in just 48 hours I’ve had to empty it three times, full. I started on a humidity percentage of 54% and now its down to 41% in the room we hang our washing in. Not only does it help the clothes dry much quicker but the musky damp smell has gone instantly. I hung out some fresh washing and it’s gone up to 47 which is understandable but it’s gradually going down – it has two fan modes, one high and one low, low is perfect if you want it in your bedroom whilst sleeping, it really is quiet, high is more noticeable but during the day it’s fine. I would certainly recommend it – fantastic little machine, I just hope it lasts. Be sure to keep it clean and dust it on a regular basis, it looks like it could easily get clogged up with dust over time so my air compressor might have to come out every half year to give it a blast! According to my smart meter, its costing me 15p a day to run, which I’m happy with. I’ll probably amend this review in 6 months time and at the year point to report back any issues or degradation in performance!
This is a bit over price in here. I bought the 20L probreeze from the supplier and its cheaper than this 12L .
Helped loads with reducing mould build up in the apartment
Has a laundry functio
This dehumidifier does the job well, although a bit heavy the wheels are a great additio
Probably the best 140 I could spend.
I’ve already got two small 500ml Pro Breeze’s in my bedroom, which brings the humidity down to a comfortable 43%.
My living room, which is approx 15x15ft (4.5m2) has been gradually getting up to 65%, which is not good for anyone in Winter.
This Dehumidifier has a programmable computer, so you can program it to; come on, go off, set the fan speed and also set the humidity level. I’ve set it to 45% with low fan speed. As soon as it comes on, it’ll detect the humidity and operate until your program off time, or until it reaches your set humidity level.
So, when I switched it on, it showed 59% on its panel. It’s been on just over an hour and already, it’s down to 43%.
It is very quiet when running, even in a room without any music or tv on. Running cost is very low, approx 20p – 25p per 12hrs, depending on your settings, as I have mine on for approx 12hrs.
I have had this for a week and within that timeframe, it has completely filled the 2ltr container twice. I knew my living room was saturated but didn’t realise how much. My walls must be very damp.
Thanks to this item, the room even feels fresher and I would certainly recommend this item, if you are thinking about buying one. Buy it, set it and let it do its job.
Very quiet when in sleep mode. Easy to programme. Simple to read. Straight forward to empty. Not too big
