About Us

Rotary was originally established in 1895 in Switzerland’s, La Chaux de Fonds region; very much the cradle of modern watchmaking. It was here that Rotary would develop the key values which have endured today. Meticulous design, exceptional value for money and superb reputation for service.

The company’s success and subsequent rapid growth allowed for a unique opportunity. In 1905, Rotary moved its headquarters to London, bringing across the very best in watchmaking techniques and considerations. The brand’s influence grew massively during wartime years as it became the official timepiece supplier to the British army and now, Rotary watches are available in over 60 countries worldwide.

With its Swiss origin and British influence, Rotary provides a unique offering which combines over 120 years of watchmaking expertise with a contemporary design ethos.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHow do Rotary do it?
This watch really looks the business and it has a reassuring vintage appearance. (WW2 Pilot vibe).
The watch and the strap are good quality and the price is so good .
Rotary have a consistent record of quality for very reasonable prices. Their products look and feel so much more expensive than they actually are.
This watch really fits the pattern. I am very impressed with my buy!

This is a nice watch with realistic features and great accuracy. The E6B feature (circular slide rule or pilot computer) is accurate, but due to necessity, the characters are VERY small. The instructions are limited, but with a little trial and error, you can easily figure out the operation of all the features (even if you have no clue how to use any of the complications, it is still a great looking piece of jewelry at a reasonable cost).

Note–it does come with a warranty, however, it was cheaper/easier/faster to simply purchase a replacement.

Actually is looks like they do this product for the 125 years for this company rotary aviator, so the watch light weight is not heavy watch, its mean is not quality like the real expensive rotary aviator product but is cool to wear rotary aviator watch

If you are looking for the feel and look of a $500-1000 watch, keep looking BUT if you want a nice, accurate watch with a working slide rule from a recognized name, this could be a good fit. As we expected, the band is not a good match for the watch but we accounted for this when we made the purchase. We purchased this for someone who wanted an aviator style watch but didn’t want to spend $1k or more. This isn’t perfect by fit the bill for less than $100!

A good looking and comfortable watch. Some things to note, the slide rule lettering is small so will be hard to see it unless you have perfect eyesight, this is going to be unavoidable for any watch this size. The slide rule knob, on the left, is a bit on the small side which makes it hard to rotate the outer scale with any speed. The red lettering whilst looking good in bright light practically disappears in low light. The chrono uses two of the small sub dials not main hands so again good eyesight needed. A great choice for a good looking watch if the slide rule is a brucie bonus rather than a needed feature.

Smart and professional look. Price that doesn’t break the bank and delivered in a nice box. The brown leather strap compliments the watch face so no need to change it. Very happy with the purchase.

    Sehr empfehlenswe

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe strap feels like a 1970s design and colour, which doesn’t go with the watch.. it should of been either black to match the face of the watch or a lighter rustic brown, which would match an aviators feel. The watch is a good size, however light in weight. A good looking watch andvan eye catching look. Value for money 50 to 70 pounds anywhere near 100 add the weight and change the strap.

The watch is light in weigh

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe watch looks great. The high contrast dials on the face are eye-catching. The whole thing is machined very well, nothing rickety. The chronograph is a little hard to read (and the buttons feel backwards… red is run/stop and black is reset). Placement of the slide-rule knob is a little inconvenient at the top left, would be better at the bottom left. Slide rule knob is a little spongey during fine movement too. No GMT or alternate time zone for the 24 hour dial.

The biggest issue I’ve noticed in quality is in the slide rule markings. They don’t line up perfectly — the scales are very slightly mismatched. Across the dial it adds up to a significant error, if you’re trying to read it very closely. You can see in the second photo that the 10 marks are aligned, but on the opposite side of the dial the numbers (35 for example) are misaligned. It’s only by a small amount, so for the type of calculation you’d actually trust a watch rule to perform it’s probably close enough. Still, it’s something you’d expect to be printed exactly correct.

Overall a very nice watch with a lot of usability for the price.

    Attractive quality, some small issues

After two failed attempts to buy this watch in-flight on SAA, and finding it in-store at an exorbitant price, I managed to buy it, ship it and have it clear customs for less than half the price. Extremely pleased with my purchase.
