Bought this to measure the tension of my road bike wheels when truing them. Seems to give a consistent reading across all spokes, and also identified a spoke that was very slack and needed to be significantly tensioned. I have no idea how accurate the absolute values are but as I said its consistent. The gauge is supplied with a spoke tool for tightening spokes and a handy chart that allows you to convert the reading into kg/f. Overall, for the money paid it did the job for my needs but like I say I can verify the accuracy. It seems well made and I don’t think I need anything better for a home mechanic.
