The detachable mic was a bit finicky since it arrived. By a month my voice kept cutting out unless I unplugged it and plugged it back in every few minutes. Now, today, I can’t even make it plug back in. It’s like something inside is misaligned.
The built-in mute function is also unreliable. It’s like it just doesn’t know when to let you talk or mute your voice.
The mic also constantly transmitted sound from my game.
I got these to use for gaming on my laptop, mic works great, sound is good and comfortable to wear for hours.
Love that you just press the left ear and it mutes and unmutes the mic, mic and cable detachable for easy storage 🙂
The wire comes as an aux cable and has a splitter attachment with double aux ends, the cables can be used to plug into pc, laptop, phone, tablet, controller etc so very versatile for all gamers!
I find the volume a little low however I am hard at hearing in my left. Ontop of that it was not super quiet I am still able to hear all game audio and voices on party. I’ve been told the mic is really clear from the other end and it’s also out of the way. At first it was stiff but after a week or so I noticed I was able to adjust the position of the mic and it has not worn down or begin to sag. The head phones themselves are comfortable, aswell as adjustable. All around great quality and definitely the best headset I’ve ever gotten aswell as the cheapest.
Very good quality head set I’ve bought so many turtle beaches and they seem to echo but these are so perfect I cannot find anything to complain about because this was the upgrade I really needed
My son loves these headphones. Great quality and comfortable.
Unfortunately 5 months later he lifted them off his desk and the head band broke. Luckily we purchased the warranty and got our money back.
