Lights makes it easy to see what is going on. Links with my wife’s hearing aid fine with only slight latency.
Rubber covers on TOSlink cable ends are difficult to remove

I have used it to connect a Rega turntable to a Bluetooth equipped Sony turntable without needing to run 10 meters of cable. Had the item unboxed and and connected in less than 5 minutes
This little device did exactly what I needed I wanted a device that would receive BT and output digital which would mean that it could be permanently attached to my Denon receiver and allow me to stream apps like BBC sounds from many devices. Other devices would need me to move cables around. I would point out that this was only one of the options this clever little device offered.
Worked straight away where another product tried did not. Small Nd easy to fit.
Can now watch tv with 2 sets of earphones so simple to use lasts for days, connects straight away once you pair them. Can charge it and use it at the same time, this really is fantastic
Charged quickly and played lps on turntable through Bluetooth speaker with really great sound quality. Turntable upstairs and Bose Bluetooth speaker downstairs.

Certainly does the job, always check the requirements of your headphones for compatibility codecs, mine were Sony WH-XB900N & I used the optical lead supplied to my TV set & there was no audible lag. This SONRU Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter Receiver was no 1 in the review I saw & sound quality was excellent.
Purchased for use as a Bluetooth transmitter on an older TV. Works exactly as intended. One pair of headphones had a noticeable lag and was very off-putting but changed to a set that was aptx ll compatible and problem disappeared. Any lag is virtually imperceptible and sound quality is excellent. Haven’t used it as a receiver yet so can’t comment on that aspect, but as a transmitter works well.
The product feels really high-end, with great built quality. Pretty straightforward process to connect it and it’s great the fact that you can connect 2 pairs of Bluetooth headphones when on TX mode. Highly recommend it.
The device was easy to use. After initial charging, I connected the supplied optical cable to it and changed my TV settings to use internal speaker and optical output. When switching on the Bluetooth receiver it went straight to pairing mode with no headphones being connected. I set my headphones to pairing as well and that was it. Now the family and my mum can hear the TV without issues.
It also works with two Bluetooth headphones connected at the same time. I had slight sound interruptions when the device was behind the TV, that was fixed by moving the location.

I have my Vinly player connected to it and transmitting it too my sound system. The ease of connection was awesome as is the sound quality.
It also has good battery live but I have it permantly connected to power.
fully charged befor use and connected via the included optical cable. switch on set to paired mode and set ear pods to pair paired and started to work immediatly. Take note of small card reference a setting on your TV. Works perfectly sound sync’d to picture spot on, no delay at all. Would recommend
make sure your device that you are connecting has its volume turned up ( I was scratching my head wondering why I had no sound ) other than that its easy peasy.
I needed my TV to be Bluetooth enabled so I could use headphones. This Bluetooth adapter did exactly that, my TV only had optical audio out, after plugging in and pairing, very easy to do and the startup guide that comes with the device walks you through it. Sounds quality is good and the latency is really low. It supports aptx codecs.
Also there are multiple ways to connect to your TV and the cables are included via headphone jack, RCA, optical.
There is a title switch on the side that you can switch between RX and TX so this can also be used as a receiver if you car for example does not have Bluetooth.
I can now listen to my TV with my wife without subtitles. The sound quality is perfect. I listen through my hearing aids & my wife listens through our Bluetooth soundbar or headphones. Easy to set up to my non-Bluetooth TV with the digital optical lead + the 3.5mm jack leads supplied. Simply press the pairing button & you’re wired for sound. Best 32 i’ve spent for a quality product.
No noticeable lag, lip sync is spot on, now have 2 of these, one for bedroom and one for the caravan.
Great sound quality and even works in the next room – solid connection.
The digital fibre optic connector I have connector cable to my TV out and the sound is superb from the TV set with ZERO lag in video / sound. I use the ” movie ” Sound Setting on my TV , it’s even much , much better than listening through the TV audio – awesome sound and you even hear stuff that you wouldn’t have noticed by listening via TV set!
The battery seems like it lasts forever – easily 20 hours! I also plug the digital fibre optic connector HIFI IN socket and my FLAC audio music files are picked up by the SONRU device and played with superb results in audio through my Samsung 500 Watt HIFI System – what a joy to hear – has definitely improved my HIFI system which packed a punch anyways !
Excellent bluetooth connectivity, easy to set up and as soon as you switch it in normal use it connects very quickly.
My only problem is with the volume controls which dual use buttons, which makes it a bit hit and miss.
But otherwise I would recommend this bluetooth transmitter/receiver.
A good product. Found the instruction book very difficult to read as it was so small. Old eyes. A bit of a fiddle to set up but that could be down to my age and trying to find the best settings on my tv.
Support staff excellent and they have sent me a pdf of the instructions that I can now read easily.
Not sure if my ear buds are the way to go but at least if I change to headphones there should be no problem changing over.

Lets start by facing a fact. All Bluetooth devices are a bit glitchy. Its the system not the product. This device works really well when paired with my hearing aids. Once again I can enjoy films with quiet or moody dialogue and it’s not all swamped out by the mood music! Connected to the TV via the optical cable my wife can listen through the speakers and I through the unit. I just need to adjust the volume balance between the sound sources to overcome a fractional time lag between the two. There is a very slight echo if you can hear the speakers. Battery life on a charge seems good. Unit stays in touch well until you leave the room, slight delay re-pairing on return, have to be patient. Latency on a previous unit I had was awful. This one is brilliant. May I also praise Sonru (and Lily) for their excellent customer service, resolving one issue I had very fast. Brilliant! All in all excellent value for money!
Great little device, easy to throw in my car and connect via cassette to aux. Charge lasts a decent amount of time too

I have a smart TV that doesn’t have bluetooth and I wanted to be able to use my headphones while watching films so as not to disturb other people in the room. The TV didn’t have a headphone jack or audio out so the only output I could connect to this device was the one I used to connect the TV to a soundbar.
I plugged this device in (it was already charged) it automatically went into transmit mode and my headphones paired with it with no fuss. Sound quality is excellent and no lag. The only slight negative is that you need a magnifying glass to read the instructions! But it’s plug and play so you don’t really need them. Recommended.
Haven’t tested all the functions yet, but for it’s intended purpose, linking my new echo dot to my hifi, it’s perfect!
I needed this to work with a hi-fi amplifier and new pair of bluetooth headphones. The set-up was straightforward, pairing simple, and the signal good. My only criticism is the type-face of the instructions was very small, and required a magnifying glass to decipher.

Great little item. Had difficulty in getting my Sony 1000xm3 earbuds to run via Bluetooth with my Samsung tv. Tried a couple of other buds- still losing connection.
Got this, plugged in to optical sound output and earbuds play faultlessly.
Excellent unit, tiny size and lightweight. Comes with a variety of cables for different connections. We’ll worth the money.
I bought this to replace a Taotronics that had poor range and sound and lag.
The difference is astounding. Unlike the Taotronics, this Sonru pairs and connects immediately, has absolutely no audio lag, and great sound.

Used this to get audio from my Sky Q box to my headphones when I use a projector, simple setup easy to use it’s almost connect and forget.
I bought this so that I could listen to my radio using bluetooth headphones. It was extremely easy to set up – simply connect the device to the headphone outlet on the radio and it paired very quickly with my headphones. Very good sound quality plus I can pick up the audio in different rooms in my home – it has a good range. It comes with a selection of cables to connect up. Excellent value for money.

Linking 2 devices initially was tricky. But through good and constant communication from seller was able to resolve. Great little device to watch telly on 2 different bluetooth headphones.
Compact and easy to use with decoding for both Apple and Android. I have only used in RX mode, which suites my needs. the internal battery is handy too, although it tends to be kept on the charge anyway. I have since purchased a second device for another room.
Bought to hook up my echo dot to yamaha theatre that doesn’t support Bluetooth.
The toslink connection works perfectly and I can now enjoy the music on my speaker set.

This is an amazing little piece of tech! Allows for Bluetooth transmission between devices in both directions so that old set of speakers not has wireless functionality. The other amazing thing is that you can broadcast from your tv with the bidirectional Bluetooth transmission. Love it! Highly recommend this product.
So far I have only used it in my car, but this has been excellent. My old car stereo is now superbly upgraded as I can play all my music (eg. from Spotify, etc) from my phone via this transmitter. It is easy to use and I had it set up in my car in less than a minute! Great product, really pleased with it.
