I bought these for my primary aged children as I didn’t want to spend on an apple one. This has been great, no problems at all and I presume it does everything an Apple Pencil does. Keeps its charge.
It worked by touching the ends turned on came with charge connected via Bluetooth battery life is about 2 weeks so overall it was a great experience.
ps: Instructions, Spare tips and chargers are under where the pencil is
Works brilliantly no need for expensive brands this does the job
Got this to replace my broken Apple Pencil, great price and does what I need it to
super lightweight, connected to my ipad (9th gen) almost instantly, a nice breath of fresh air from one of those cheap ones that break easily. i also found it fun that it can magnetically go ontop of your ipad like the normal apple pen can!! overall a good product 🙂
a great alternative to the real apple pen which wouldve costed a lot more. so works just as well. only thing is if you do end up touching the back of the pen accidently it does end up shutting off. but other than that its perfect for writing – i use mine to make study notes and does a great job.
This is a fab pen, both my kids love it!
Does everything my kids need it to do.
Great seems to works as well as an Apple Pencil (although not got one to be certain) and all functions work as promised
I have bought this for my daughter where she has to use iPad for her school which I bought this pen and it is really useful and its been more than month no complaints. Really worth it.
This pencil is amazing and is an excellent alternative for an Apple Pencil. I was a bit sceptical at first as this is a very low price, could it do a good job?
Simple answer is yes! This pencil can keep up with the Apple Pencil, it is very responsive in all tasks.
100% recommend this produc
So I didn’t really know if an apple pencil would be worth the money but I honestly can’t see how it would be an upgrade from this. Fab little device took me ages to work out how it turns on though – should have read the instructions to begin with!
The pencil comes with a few spare tips but they seem pretty robust so should probably last a while
This is a great stylus, super easy to connect to my iPad and it feels lovely to write with. I got it after my flask spilt in my bag and drowned my Apple Pencil, and this is a great substitute. However, depending on if you’re planning on using it for art or not, which I primarily need it for, it doesn’t have tilt or pressure sensitivity. Otherwise. Don’t waste your money on an Apple Pencil and get this instead!
This product is great in fact I am using it to write right now, but I am having trouble charging it. Could anyone give tips. Thank you!
Oldest child left apple pencil in her pocket that went through the wash. Got her this as a replacement as another 130 wasn’t feasible. She said she can’t tell the difference.
Comfortable to hold, accurate and quick to charge. I’ve been surprised at how quickly it needs recharging. After using it to make edits to documents (so light use), the charge is used up after a less than a day. As a result, I tend to turn it off between edits to preserve the charge. I suppose I have ‘range anxiety’!
Updated review. The original unit i was sent turned out to be faulty. The vendor kindly sent a replacement which worked far better. Is it as good as an apple pencil? Not entirely but you pay a fraction of the price and it depends on what you want to use it for. For drawing you may be better off with the named brand since this unit and most of the clones don’t have pressure sensitivity. They do have angle control and very little lag so they can do most things. If you are making notes, sketching and marking up drawings or photographs this is perfect and comes with a bunch of spare tips too. Yes it needs charging with the included cable instead but it takes a few mins and lasts a long time, far longer than the apple pencil so overall now i’ve got a working model I’m happy to recommend. Good value product and excellent customer service.
Works just as good as the original for less money.
Took a chance as could not justify the cost of an official pencil and this is great, no real hassle charging and it sits magnetically on the side of the iPad
This product is soo good, and is basically a cheaper version of the apple pen it lasted me soo many days without have to charge it!! Also I love how your hand can still be touching the screen and you don’t need to have your hand in the air! WOULD RECOMMEND
The product is really good and very cheap, however it does sometimes tend to disconnect but simply turning it back on works so theres not much to worry about, I would recommend buying this as it is a very good product and really useful
It feels amazing to hold, better than my old apple pen. Very nice design and lightweight as well as extremely easy to use. Only problem is that the pressure sensitivity doesn’t work, I’ve tried different drawing programs and different pen nibs but it just stays the same flat line. I’ll still use it regardless but any advice is appreciated~
This is my updates review.
Previously i bought this pencil and after a month it didn’t work, i am delighted to say that i got a replacement and it works perfectly fine.
This pen is great for apps like procreate and looks like the apple pen. I’m not sure what an apple pen is like but this pen works just as well as what i think an apple pen works like.
The only thing is you can’t change it from the side which isn’t a big dealbreaker.
Overall this pen is amazing and i recommend it if you’re on a budget.
Got this for part of a Christmas present good value for money and daughter loves it. At a fraction of the price of the real one , 5 minutes charge dose not give you 8 hours of use more like 3 hours max , but can’t complain.
Overall will give this 5
For a product that is only 20 it isn’t that bad and it arrives charged. Have only had it for a few hours and have not yet had to charge it. However, it does keep randomly disconnecting and turning off when im. in the middle of writing or drawing something. If you’re looking for a cheap alternative to an apple penal this is perfect, the disconnecting being the only problem have faced so far.
This is a great pen and much cheaper than an Apple one! It connects with ease. Is easy to use too. Doesnt feel too light or too heavy, it feels like a standard pend. I would highly recommend
The product feels high quality. You wont even know its only worth 15. Post sales assistance is excellent. I had some minor issues with my purchase but the support team were able to assist me promptly. Theres no lag when you use the pen. It run so smooth.
This stylus is a great alternative to the apple pen at a much reduced cost, simple to connect to your Ipad this works well and is extremely accurate, battery life is sufficient to outlast any task you are trying to achieve that day. top reccomendatio
Bought the lasted iPad, however could not afford the Apple Pencil, this is a fantastic product at such a great price, my 15 year old thinks it’s great. No complaints and a great savings
This is a great stylus and works well on my iPad. Nice and lightweight, comfortable to hold and use. Recommended.
I can barely tell the difference from an Apple Pencil. Great piece of kit especially if you travel with your iPad loads; not terrified to misplace it.
Really good value for money.
Great customer service also!
please don’t waste your money on a real Apple Pencil!, my real one broke 5days ago and I was in desperate need for a new one because I’m a digital artist, and I can’t afford a new one right now,so I brought this as a part time replacement and it’s the exact same as the real one,and I won’t be wasting another 140,defo recommend
For ipad 10.2 2021. Sometimes turns off as touch sensitive on the end. But great accessory for the money.
I don’t write reviews but this deserved it, This Pen makes my work life so easy, it free’s up so much of my time enabling me to accurately mark up photos and drawings for Engineering services, honestly, if you’re thinking of getting one, don’t hesitate to get this, it’s brillia
Comes with tiny rubber gromits to cover the charge port. Lost it within 1 day but port doesn’t need covered for my use.
Pencil is nice or hold and well balanced.
Chargers quick and links to iPad flawlessly.
Good accuracy while colouring inc shading.
Really happy with this and recommend
This works well for drawing mathematical figures or portraits; however, the conversion from handwritten text to digital is only accurate for those with clear handwriting. This is probably to be expected because writing f like p will inevitably produce a digital p. Overall, it’s a good stylus for the money and the magnetic element is good, but if you can afford what Apple charges, go for theirs.
Stylus Pen For Apple iPad Pro/Air(2018-2022), 5 Minutes Get This Stylus Pencil For iPad Full Charged, A Substitute For Apple Pencil, With Tilt Bold Function, Palm Rejection & Magnetic Attachment.
Affordable cheaper alternative to the Apple Pencil. Works great, it comes with a USB charger cable and some extra pencil nibs. The tilt function worked fine for me and I was able to draw thicker lines for shading. The pencil magnetically attaches to the side of the iPad but it doesn’t have magnetic charging capability. It’s a very quick and simple setup. The palm rejection worked great as well. Overall this is a good value product and I would happily recommend it
Product says it comes with 5 extra nibs, I only got 4.
Stylus pencil works very well and has great accuracy – only stops randomly sometimes.
Holds charge very very well.
Bought it for university to make notes and it came with tips too.
Would recommend if you are on a budget.
I’ve used this stylus on my iPad running both iPadOS 15 and 16.1. With both versions it works perfectly although IPadOS 16.1 gives a few more pieces of functionality. The screen shot shows a little of what the pen can do using Notes under OS 16.1; it’s possible to write and the text appears automatically, translate text to another language, do bullet point lists, tables, draw preset shapes or create your own and much, much more.
I should mention it’s up to you whether you want the text to appear as your handwriting or as typing in the screenshot. I was really impressed with the conversion from handwritten text to typing as my handwriting is awful.
The pen itself is simplicity to set up. Make sure the pen is charged by checking the three leds are lit when then pen is switched on, switch in Bluetooth on the iPad and after a few seconds the devices pair. That’s it.
The pen is switched in and off by placing your finger on the top of the pen for a few seconds. Charging the pen takes a few minutes and the charge lasts a long time. The charging lead is included as are spare ‘nibs’.
I’ve used the stylus with the Notes, Pages, Numbers and Keynote apps and found it works accurately every time. Like all tech there is a little bit of a learning curve but it’s pretty simple. I’ve even managed to do a basic sketch of a landscape using the stylus the first time I used it.
All in all, a very useful bit of kit for iPad users that is really easy to use straight out the box. If you want to write or sketch ideas it’s great.
Final point: the pen is magnetic and does stick to an iPad. However, if the screen isn’t in standby mode the magnet makes the display do weird things so I’ve tended not to use this.
This is a much cheaper option than purchasing an apple pencil and works pretty well for 20.
Pros –
– really easy to sync and set up.
– you get plenty of spare nibs
– has a good magnetic grip (when the rubber grommet isn’t attached for the charging port)
– has the tilt function and it works well. You can easily get thick and thin pencil lines when writing/ drawing.
Cons –
– the rubber grommet for the charging port doesn’t stay put very well, and after one day at work, I’ve already lost it!
– the rubber grommet stopped the pen from sitting flush against the iPad
It took a while to realise how much charge the pen had. On its own, it showed 2 lights for the battery life. When I plugged it in to charge, it said I had fully battery (3 lights) …. but after a while of leaving it plugged in, the lights started to flash to show its actually charging.
Over all, for 20, I’d say it’s worth it (as long as you’re not too bothered about the grommet, that was a bit annoying. It would have been nice to have maybe one less spare nib but one spare grommet).
Works good no issuesz battery no issues writes fine wouldn’t recommend for drawing tho go for original one.
Uni notes fantastic
If you are like me and cannot justify near 70 pounds for the Apple Pencil then this is a must, it basically has all the functionality of the Apple Pencil at a fraction of the price, it comes very well packaged and actually looks just like an apple product, it is made from premium materials and is well built, it works perfectly and is great for note taking I’ve used it on my iPad mini 6 for about 2 weeks now and I still have around 30 percent battery life left, the only minor problem is that it does not wirelessly charge when attached to the iPad it’s usb c charge only however the battery lasts so long that is not really a massive problem, you do not have to connect it via Bluetooth as it just works out of the box however if you do connect it over Bluetooth then it gives you the battery stats along side your other apple devices, all in all this is a brilliant product but minus one star for the lack of wireless charging
This was ordered for use on my iPad Pro as I misplaced my Apple Pencil. I have since found the Apple Pencil so can do a comparison.
First point is that this pencil will not charge by magnetically attaching it to the iPad. It has a small socket on the edge with a standard USB C socket for charging. The pencil comes with a small rubber plug over the socket but I have lost that already. Charging is quick and straightforward with the usual little line of lights showing charging. Next point is it needs turning on to use. Not a big deal just touch the top end for a couple of seconds.
Before use it needs to be Bluetooth paired with the iPad. A one off job which takes a few seconds. I then hit a snag as I could not get it to work but my old pencil was working OK. The answer was easy. Just turn off the iPad and turn it back on. It needed to forget about the other pencil. Now it works every time I turn on the iPad with no issues.
In use it performs exactly the same as the Apple Original and I am very happy with it. It still sticks to the edge of the iPad like the old one (although that is how I lost the original) but it does not bring up the “pencil connected” text and will not charge there.
Overall this is a great little pencil and I think, especially for a user who wants one occasionally, does everything required. The quality feels OK and it works OK. The only reason to drop one star is that the need to turn on and off and charge it via USB occasionally is a job that is not needed with the original. But it is not the price of the original either and does the job.
Overall a decent item that is unlikely to disappoint.
Works well with my ipad, the only downside is the nib is a bit firm so the tapping is a bit loud..
Why spend over 100 for an apple pencil when you can get this that works perfectly well. Definitely recommend to others
Was sceptical this wouldn’t work on my iPad due to it not being the official pen. However works super well, I can rest my hand on my iPad and still write/colour with the pen with no problems. 5 stars as I have no fault with this item.
Works absolutely fine with my iPad. Satisfied with my purchase. Recommended.
This pen is definitely worth the price, it works really well, i can’t compare to the real apple pencil because i have not used one but as far as i can tell it does everything and only takes 5mins to charge but lasts for 8 hours.
Great item, fantastic charge time, cost effective replacement for the pricey apple ones
Bought for my son and he loves it! The only issue is that it sometimes turns itself off for no reason! Other than that it’s a great product!
