It’s really hard to find something not to like about these golf balls. I’m a 10 handicap, and I play Pro V1s during my more “serious” rounds, but I’ll be honest – it’s hard to justify buying Pro V1s for someone at my level knowing that these exist and are nearly 1/2 the price. Yes, they’re a “harder” ball (i.e. more distance focused) than a Pro V1, they run out a little more on approach shots and chips, and they are not as soft on the putterface. But the difference isn’t that crazy. My personal feeling is they started with a Pro V1 (which is really good at everything) but then tuned it for maximum distance, so they made some concessions on softness and spin – but only as much as they absolutely had to. Overall, it’s a great ball.
This ball carries well and it has a good spin around the green.
I prefer this ball over the pro v1 as a 50 plus golfer, you start losing distance this ball helps.
It’s a confidence issue and for the golfer that’s been playing along time , I don’t have to play with used balls, the price is right and with the matt colors, you will always find your balls in the rough
These balls are more workable around the greens than a lot of reviews state. I hit the ball high so no problem with spin and stopping them. Touch around the greens fit me to a tee!
Love the price, and the distance.
I have been playing Srixon Soft Feels for several years. Between back issues and a pinched nerve in my left arm, my fitness level and golf time have been reduced, and my distance has suffered by 1 1/2 to 2 clubs. A knowledgeable friend suggested switching from the softer balls to the Velocity. He swears they are worth at least ten extra yards.
I have now played several rounds with the Velocities. No hard data yet, but my distance seems to be a bit longer with them. The Velocities have a harder feel and produce a different sound, but neither are a problemjust different. In short, the jury is still out, but i like what i have seen. I do wish they were available in yellow though.
Those matt golf balls look great and are easy to track on the golf course. The color is amazing!
Fr mich ein guter, fehlerverzeihender Ball, der gut zu meinem Spiel passt.
I bought a few dozen orange and white Titleist Velocity Golf Balls about Apr 2022 (2022 ball) and paid about $28 a box. I love these balls for their durability and distance performance, however, I just checked prices and they have jumped to $44-$60 depending on color and I assume this is a 2022 ball. They seem to have a limited supply of the 2021 balls at $29. Love this ball, but I would not pay a premium price for it and I’m reluctant to buy a 2021 ball that’s been sitting for over a year. If you can find a 2022 Velocity Ball for less than $30 a dozen, I highly recommend it. If not, Callaway softs are great balls. Cheers…Mr 4-Pu
Just played a round with Titleist Velocity and Wilson Triad, alternating golf balls on each hole. While it is only one round, and the Velocity performs as advertised, I left believing that the Triad ball was a better fit for me. The Velocity ball didnt feel as soft as I prefer, and launch angle was lower than I expected.
I bought these in the hope the colour (Bright matt Orange) would help me see them in flight, as I struggle with white and yellow balls, I’m pleased to say they do.
The performance in terms of flight, spin and feel, is as I’ve come to expect from Titelist balls. I’d not hesitate to recommend them for any Mid-High handicap golfer.
I like that I am still able to hit over 200 yard drives at my age (over 70) with this ball. I also like the feel chipping and putting.
Bought these balls when I had a glass or two of wine too many but they are great and very easy to find if your a but off line , also I get plenty of distance and flight which is not always the case with me . Really good balls !
This ball rolls! I don’t know if i am getting better or if this ball helps me with my distance. Either way, i noticed that this ball just keeps rolling even with my shanks! Lol!
Quality balls at a good price… that unfortunately don’t miraculously turn you into a quality player.
These were bought as a gift for my father-in-law. He was very excited to get them because now that he’s retired he spends a lot of time on the golf course.
I’ve used these Balls for a few years now, Titelist have tweaked the design slightly but always for the better, they are durable, have a nice feel and go a long way, they are also as cheap as you’ll find them anywhere but a lot cheaper than some places.
Tried and tested.
Gained about 20yrds off the tee.
Even better feels so soft on contact but spins so much around the greens. So confident with this ball. Did confuse me first off because i got so much check with the chip shots.
Really good ball
good distance and good for short game. Senior with 18.6 H. Index
These are terrific golf balls. I’ve used the ProV1 series and did not find those balls any more playable than these Velocity. In my opinion, the Velocity Titleist golf balls are the best!
This is an amazing golf ball for its ability to outlast the other competition in every way. I am able to hit it farther, play with it longer without scaring and keep it in the fairway with its uncanny ability to stay on line.
As with all Titleist products, not cheap. There are balls that are cheaper that IMO are just as good as a Velocity. But the Velocity is still a very good ball. It’s the “distance ball” from Titleist, although to be honest I don’t think it’s as long as a Pro-V1. It may not have the feel of a Pro-V1, but I have no trouble putting good spin on a Velocity around the greens.
Good quality Titliest product. Original product not fakes, Good products
I like the feel of these off the tee and maybe alittle longer than my go to ball the titlest tour soft…the tour soft feels alittle mussy whereas the velocity has a firm feel…my issue with the velocity is that I have problems stopping the ball on approach shots…I doesn’t stop like the tour soft does…feels good off the putter face…I bought a dozen so I will use them….I am a 6 handicap
I like these balls a lot and price is reasonable for this quality of golf ball – about $2.25 a piece. I will probably continue to use these, but I tried out a couple of Callaway ERC triple track balls that I like better but at about $3 a ball so it just depends on how much money you want to spend and how many balls you lose in a round 🙂 I’m not that great of a golfer but manage to hit it straight enough to lose maybe 1 ball a round on average and found these better quality balls do make a difference on all shots over bargain balls.
This ball matches the top end balls on the market for distance. It does have a soft shell and tends to scuff easy however I have been able to get through 3 – 4 rounds with one ball. This is going to be my choice going forward. Price is great for a long distance ball.
I’ve tried it out next to other balls, and this one really flies!
I’m never going back! Hopefully, they’ll keep making them.
What do i know about golf??!! Husband reckons their the best balls hes ever handled!!
Arrived in time and good condition. Good quality as expected
