Great quality , i purchased when in offer so good value for money, lightweight, great for charging all sorts of items also has surge protection , clean design easy to wipe ove
I brought this item as I’m moving soon and will need more plug sockets for my TV, dvd, sky box etc
It small and compact don’t take up much room
I like that it’s completely black so blends with my furniture very well. There’s more than enough space to connect my little gadgets for charging and the length is fantastic.
Have bought 2 of these, and had one maxed out at one stage for a few months with 10 external hard drives, computer and monitor, held up to the job with no issues. Very pleased
I bought this as my sister had one and i needed something for my new office setup.
The pros
I like the fact it takes 12 plugs, but be mindful of balancing if you put too many on one side.
I like the fact it takes USB devices for charging
I also like the fact it can be turned on and off independently
I dont like
The lengthy cable, i think its too long for the nature of the product
Wish too i bought a “slab type” extension to lie across my desk making it easier to reach for plugs.
Many an upgrade.
But thats personal preference.
Overall its allowed me to power my shed etc so cant grumble there
Was after a new extension lead with USB ports as I’ve had a 4 socket one for years that’s lasted really well tbh and still going strong but wanted more outlets but wasn’t really looking for many more then 4 but this one had very good reviews and plenty more sockets and so glad I bought this one
Was expecting it to much bigger than what it is being a 12 socket one but it’s actually small and compact and got a good length lead to plug in,USB ports work as expected but not tried the USB c one yet but don’t think I will tbh but maybe in the future
Highly recommended
I liked the fact it had a long cable and neatly puts the wires away . Mainly for the fact it’s fire safety reasons . I didn’t like my old ones so replaced them with this
This extension tower really tidied my desk up, much easier to organise the cables and the USB additions are a great idea. Not only is this functional its also stylish.
Finally something that takes big adaptor plugs! Bought another one which you could not have 2 plugs on the same side as they would foul each other, but not with this one. Plenty of space. spot on!
The only thing that I disliked about this tower unit was the fact that it should be spaced better for different plug sizes to fit in , other than that it’s bloody brilliant to the point I’m replacing all my extension leads with these! They are stylish, fit in with any decor as well
Discovered recently that I suddenly found myself without any power from a double socket in my lounge which served both my tv and keyboard. Called in an electrician who concluded that the fault was due to a
broken wire somewhere below the floor boards! At 80 years of age, I could not face having to move all my furntiture, carpet and floor boards to undertake a repair. The electrician suggested a much cheaper alternative would be to purchase an extension cable as I still had three other double power sockts in full working order!
I narrowed my choice to a few and settled for the Sameriver ZYCO5 unit with 12 sockets plus usb provision. I only use five of the sockets at the moment and the usb facility in also great for charging my other electrical gadgets! I also went for the 16. 4ft cable length which is ideal for my requirements. This has been an excellent purchase which I am happy to recommend!
I like this design. Bulky power adapters don’t get in each other’s way so much, and there’s less space taken up on the floor. The quality with this one seems fine.
I don’t need full use of it but it’s so much neater than my old one and it’s always nice having the extra outlets for guests. Can’t see us fighting over the plugs now lol. Really appreciate the usb/usc options as well. Very good length cable.
I bought this lead extension for my WFH setup because I was fed up of not being able to fit all smart plugs in my old standard 6-gang lead extension.
The design of this lead extension is perfect because all smart plugs can now fit with no issue at all. Even the awkwardly designed larger power plugs (from Philips Hue and others) can fit.
There is 12 outlets, 4 USB ports (1 Type C and 3 USB A) so plenty to choose from.
I’m so happy I bought this one, it resolved all the problems I had with fitting and number of free outlets. My only regret is to not have bought it sooner and will buy it again for other rooms if I need to in the future. Highly recommended especially for smart homes.
It’s a very discreet, compact solution that sits behind my desk out of sight. The addition of USB charging connectors is also very good. I can understand the appeal of a straight panel of plugs but it makes for a very long device. These things are much more compact.
It’s a pretty sturdy hard plastic design in black. It’s not pretty and you might not want it in eye sight – but we’re talking plug extension here (none of them are exactly attractive). As for value for money? Well it does the job and the price is competitive, it has nice extra features and it’s very practical. Would recommend overall.
Good product, charging ports are a life saver, I can switch off by the handy switch on it when I leave house, and a good amount of plug sockets.
I use two super laptops, 4 consoles, plus TVs and etc. no issues.
A+
It is very good product.cable just right length.enough access to use all appliances.very safe.
Keeps cables and plugs in control: good value for money. Handy usb and apple type outlets too.
I brought this and it’s great even has a safty on/off switch at the bottom…only thing I’m dissapointed with is the wirer length could off been longe
So many sockets! 12 power sockets and 4 USB ports for just about anything you can throw at it. It’s compact for the amount of sockets, but for me, that isn’t as good a feature as it might sound. I’m always concerned when packing plugs in back to back like this, so I’d strongly recommend plugging in low-powered devices only if you’re planning on filling all the sockets. For me, I have a few hard drives (not 12!) that all need powering at once using power adapters, so that’s what I’ve been using them for. The design means I can space them out between sockets and avoid overheating.
The USB ports on the bottom are a nice addition, although they are only standard charging speed and not fast charge as far as I have noticed. It’s also quite a lot for an unbranded unit at about 25 after vouchers. However, I have to say it’s been performing flawlessly over the last three or four weeks, so from that perspective, I can recommend it.
Great little extension at a very good price. Does what it’s supposed to.
Good little extension lead itis does the job had no problems with it too 🙂
This is very solidly built.
Plugging in appliances there is good feeling of resistance and the plugs stay solidly in place
Very useful to have USB ports at the bottom as well
The long 5 meter cable means this has many applications in the house
Unit can also powered off by the switch allowing all attached units to be turned on/off at once
This Multifunctional Vertical Power Strip provides a versatile solution to extending the number of power outlets available in the house. It offers 12 three pin mains power outlets and 4 usb charging outlets (3 x usb A and 1 USB C.) It is fairly solidly built and stable enough on its base which has small non- slip pads. The individual outlets are not switched but there is one main on/off switch. (The included instruction leaflet suggests that each column has an on/off switch but this is not the case.) The maximum load is 3250W and there is an overload safety cut-off. The usb sockets are rated at 5v/2.4A with a total output of 3.4A, which will accommodate most devices/phones etc. There is a reasonably detailed instruction booklet. This contains all the warnings and advice for use. For example, it is not recommended to coil the 5m lead as this will reduce the maximum power rating. It is not recommended to use high power items on such an extension cable as this. In fact that applies to all extension cables as overheating can occur. The mains plug is claimed to incorporate 750 degree fire retardant material.
Everything works as intended making this a useful extension cable device which should be safe if used correctly.
You get 12 outlets for 13 amp plugs on this in a very compact space. Additionally you get 3 standard USB outlets and a C one too. It comes with a very decent length cable too – 5 metres. This combination really does allow a lot of flexibility. One really good aspect is that you can actually use the sockets when the next nearest is in use generally (I’ve hit no issues with my plugs). Ones I’ve had in the past were more compact but this meant that larger chargers would often get in the way of the next socket.
It appears that this does offer surge protection based on the product info. Compared to the more traditional power bars this takes up far less space which is great. However my usual power bar has individually switchable plugs which I do find very useful. I do have a mini tower one a bit like this which only has 5 sockets (there is one on top) and that covers my needs most of the time. However if you do want far more sockets this is well worth a look. I think the price at approaching 30 quid is not particularly budget but you do get a decent amount for your money.
This is a good piece of kit. Feels quite sturdy, not heavy and not too obtrusive. It’s compact but not to small so doesn’t take up much space. It has 4USB(3USB ports 1type C built-in so you can charge all your phones using this, no need to get additional plugs. All my cables are tidy at the same point. It doesn’t take a lot of space and the 5 metres cable is a plus.
This is actually quite small for a tower but very well-designed. Thanks to this the mess of cables I had behind the living room tv is now sorted and looking a lot more manageable!
The sockets are well-spaced so there isn’t the usual annoyance of a larger adaptor not fitting.
On top of all that it has a few USB outs should they be needed!
Very happy with this.
A great addition to any device heavy household thanks to the overall space it can save.
It is advertised to have surge, overload, lightning, and short-circuit protections which are a must nowadays to prevent any unwanted loss of devices.
The USB ports are supplied with up to 3.1A per port so charging times are quite good across the board. There are power buttons at the bottom that control their side of the power strip respectively. What I like most about this power strip is its shape.
Unlike most power strips, this comes as an upright tower which makes it suitable for placing upon tables or desks. That makes it perfect to serve its role as a dedicated charging suite when everyone is downstairs and in need of charging their devices.
All in all, I am quite satisfied with this power strip and find that the current price of 28.99 (with an additional 20% voucher at the time of writing), is a good one to pay for the quality presented here.
This has been of great help ever since it has arrived. Just what I needed in my home office. When working from home I have a lot of gadgets needing a power socket. However, I only have two sockets and atleast 6 devices to be connected to the power socket. That is where this comes in very handy. Lots of power sockets plus USB ports as well as a USB C port. All my devices can now be powered at the same time. The length of the wire is quite long and the tower design is a great space saver. I use 6/7 ports at one time and it has not over heated. The USB ports are very handy also. I now never run out of sockets and the tower design makes the leads much tidier to manage. Brilliant item at a great price. Highly recommended.
As the listing states, please do not use this type of extension lead for heaters, toasters, kettles, hairdryers, hairtongs etc as these should be plugged directly into a wall socket.
Perfect for areas like media centres and offices where there are many low powered mains devices.
Has 12 sockets, 1 15W USB-C (not suitable for a laptop as these need 45W plus) and 3 12W USB-A sockets suitable for tablets and phones. If you need higher powered USB outputs then you may want to consider a separate multiway extension lead with a separate USB charger however this is not as elegant.

I have to say I like everything about this extension cord. Firstly the packaging is superb even though it’s a brown box has lots of information on it very relevant to the extension cord itself. I’m very impressed with your house and 12 plug socket and 3USB sockets and one C socket brilliant
It’s really nice having it, in-depth instruction manual, even though it’s only a couple of pages, it’s still very good and give you some really good site information
Very impressed that you have a main switch and overload protection, so it trips the extension lead rather than your house. Very happy.
However, not sure you can use all 12 sockets in one go as there are no relevant information about this but what I do like with the 12 sockets is they are split over four sides which enables you plenty of scope to plug things in at different angles. Very happy
Very impressed with the cable lead for the extension lead itself. Nice length allows you to Trail the extension lead a long distance away from your main socket. Very happy
Impressive price 23 what’s not to like he does what it says on the ti
This tower extension lead is well made with a thick cable going to the mains, I would imagine it needs that if it is running 12 3pin plugs from it.
Unfortunately the plugs do not have individual on off switches, so they are either all on or all off.
The sockets gave a decent gap between them which is useful as so many plugs come in weird shapes. It was even possible to fit a compact timer and still use the socket next to it. There are 3 usbA and one usbC outlets at the bottom which is useful as you don’t need individual chargers.
23.19 at the time of writing is a fair price for this very useful extension tower.
This tower extension lead is a brilliant solution to the growing mound of plugs, cables and multi-socket extension cables that inevitably accompanies all the tech we now have in our offices and homes. With 12 power outlets and 4 USB ports, and an extremely long extension cable, it is possible to tidy it all up with just one device.
In addition, it is very convenient to have a “tower” of sockets because there are three sockets on each of the four sides, entailing that you can organise them into categories (eg lights, computer equipment) if you wish.
I was reassured to read that the tower has surge protection. It also has an off switch, giving you the peace of mind that everything is powered down should you go away, and enabling you to ensure that electricity isn’t being wasted by devices being left on standby.
In times gone by it was that you had to spend a hefty sum for a decent extension lead, one that had surge protection (or at least one that made a song and dance about advertising it), then came the emergence of USB and again big branded items shot up to accommodate a couple of underpowered sockets. It seems the market on these has plateaued and now you can find items like this with 5m of extension and 12 outlets and some USB for around 30.
The whole unit itself is quite light, and as you would expect its a little bulked out to support all those plugs so not something you can tuck behind a cabinet but is something that will stand at the side or in a corner quite happily.
I just need to find the time to sort out all my wires down the back of the TV now and replace the 3 extensions leads I have with this one fits all solution.
Currently with 20% off the price is better than many 12 way extensions, though ideal for office use I have it at the side of the sofa. Why, well like everyone you tend to end up with a laptop an iPad, Oculus etc. etc. before you know it lots of things to charge. With this I can reduce the charger plug to zero as it has 2 standard USB and 1 USB C charging outlets so that is three charger not needed on voyage. It will probably end up in the home office with my partner as she has several items that need plugging in, telephones, screen, charger etc. etc. It has a warning that heaters should not be plugged in as obviously these item are high current so should be plugged directly into wall outlet. The unit has an illuminated on/off switch, and usefully because of the angle of the sockets relative to each other bulky chargers don’t interfere with each other, it’s annoying on some extensions the plug tops baulk each other which means you cannot use all the outlets. All in all looks to be a well built useful bit of kit.
Anyone who’s ever been stuck behind a piece of furniture trying to reach an outlet knows how frustrating it can be. And if you have multiple devices that need to be charged, it can seem like an impossible task. That’s why I was so excited to come across the Tower Extension Lead with USB Slots.
This surge protector extension lead has 12 outlets and 4 USB ports, so you can charge all your devices at once—and finally, get that much-needed decluttering of cords and chargers out of the way. Here’s what I thought after putting the Tower Extension Lead with USB Slots to the test.
Ease of Use: The Tower Extension Lead with USB Slots is incredibly easy to set up and use. It comes with clear instructions on how to plug it in and mount it on the wall, and all the outlets and USB ports are clearly labelled. I was able to get it up and running in no time, and I haven’t had any issues with it since.
Charging Speed: One of my favourite features of the Tower Extension Lead with USB Slots is that it has three different types of USB ports—including a Type C port—so you can charge all your devices at top speed. And with four ports in total, you can charge multiple devices at once without any slowdown. I’ve tried other surge protector extension leads that only have two USB ports, and the difference in charging speed is noticeable.
Safety Features: The Tower Extension Lead with USB Slots also has some great safety features built in. It comes with built-in circuit breakers that protect against overloading, as well as grounded and surge-protected outlets that guard against power surges. These features give me peace of mind knowing that my devices are safe while they’re plugged in.
Conclusion: If you’re looking for a surge protector extension lead that can charge all your devices at once, I highly recommend the Tower Extension Lead with USB Slots. It’s easy to use, charges quickly and comes with some great safety features. Plus, the sleek design means it won’t clash with your other decor. Trust me, this is one product you’ll wonder how you ever lived without. 100% recommended.
12 plug socket + 3 USB sockets amazing value absolutely massively Don it so could go across the bedroom really great value
The is a great extension lead, with 12 sockets, plus 4 USBs one of them a C.
I didnt realise it has 12 sockets when I ordered it and now im thinking where is the best place to utilise so many, it will be wasted in the spot I wanted it for which only needs 4 and 2 USBs.
It will definatly be amazing for when we go camping and we have so many electrical items that we are constantly having to swap plugs over as the 6 one we have now is nowhere near enough. It also had a very long lead which is another bonus
Tower Extension Lead with USB Slots, 5M Multi Plug Extension 12 Outlets and 4 USB (1 Type C and 3 USB Ports) [13A 3250W] Surge Protector Extension Lead with Widely Spaced Outlets for TV PC Tablets
Does it have an on / off / reset light = Yes
How long is the cable = Very long (5M)
Is it easy to use = Yes, plug in and go
Does it save space = Yes definitely
Surge Protector = It does mention ‘surge protection’ and ‘overload protection’ on the box.
Before getting this my previous 4 slot multi plug extension had to balance on a box to reach the plug on the wall. With this it sits snugly in the corner of the desk, and I no longer have to worry about it being over stretched to reach either the plug or my laptop. Having 12 plug sockets on the unit means instead of 2 or 3 extension units it can all be done with just one, although I don’t think my electricity bill would like all of them being used at once. Being able to charge with a usb directly into the extension is a great space saver as well. I usually have at least 2 items charging via a plug with usb inserted and that then only leaves 2 plug sockets free. With this unit I will have so many I won’t know what to do with them all.
Great item that I would happily recommend to anyone.
