Golf is a hobby, and I will never get great at the game, choosing to have fun over stressing myself out. With this in mind I have never been loyal to certain brands and have been known to buy at the cheaper end of things. You do find in some cases that the more expensive things can improve your game. These ‘Trust Panther’ are an unknown brand but seem to fly true, even if they feel slightly lighter.
I like them, but that does not count for a huge amount. The pack comes in an attractive box and then sets of three inside, making the lot, or part a nice gift. They did not ruin my range or game but did not improve them either. A solid set if you can get them at the right price.
The dozen balls come in boxed very nice in sets of 3 they would make a perfect gift. The balls are a tad light but fly very well, a few of my friends tested them out with me and we all found them nice to play with. The brand isnt well known compared to others but dont let that fool you, it just makes these balls very good value for money.
Really enjoy using Trust golf balls, nice balls that carry well and feel good off the face of the club. Easy to putt and generally a great ball the only negative is that we are approaching Pro V’s at this price point and I don’t think I could give up my Pro V’s to swap out to these.
Great quality golf balls that performed just as well as the more established brands I normally opt for especially given the 25 price tag!
Come nicely packed in good quality box and also in sleeves for ease of storing.
Good quality golf balls at amazing value. If you haven’t already definitely give them a try!!
For a beginner these make for a great set of 12 balls. Most beginners will be focused on a million other factors to improve their game, the balls themselves would come a fair way down the pecking order of priorities.
They present nicely and have a good feel in the hand. They hit well and they fly nicely. Granted ‘Trust’ might not have much in the way of brand kudos so you’re not going to get much in the way of admiring glances from peer golfers, but on the flip side you can be safe in the knowledge that you haven’t spent a lot of money on expensive branded balls when you’re not even at amateur level.
They might not be the last word in style, and the font used is not very creative, but really they aren’t that important when you’re likely to be losing some of these in lakes and adjacent fields.
For a price of c. 25 for the back of 12 that is good value for what you get.
As described and as advertised.
Well packaged and presented and this would make a nice gift for a golfing friend or family member. But remember as soon as he/she is ready to go to the golf course the boxes will be ripped open and balls put into golf bag….
There are 5 different Bison trust balls available and you need to select the one that’s most suited to your swing speed. Slower swings will benefit from Soft model and then as your swing speed increases you’ll need to consider trying V then X and finally XL for fastest swing speeds. These are targeted at beginners and have the lowest compression rate of the range.
The softness differences impact the compression in the ball – the softer the ball the less the compression so soft model balls have the least compression working up to the most compression in the XL model balls.
No sign of cutting or wear and tear after a few rounds.
As good as other more well know brands in the normal golf ball market.
We are average at best golfers and these are targeted at beginners and these are perfectly adequate for practicing and general fun rounds.
Finally got round to testing these out, nicely presented in a box of a dozen, 4 sleeves of three, I gave a 3 pack to my cousin who I was playing a bounce game against (always good to get a second opinion). Both of us were really impress with the feel & control of them. They didn’t cut up easily & when I eventually lost one (we were playing a very unforgiving course), I wasn’t just annoyed that it was reflected on my scorecard, I was annoyed at the loss of the ball itself, I was enjoying playing that ball & was having a very enjoyable round.
I’d honestly buy these over Titleist & not just for the significant saving. Excellent balls.
These are beautiful quality golfballs, the presentation of these is really exquisite and would make a lovely gift to any golf fan. The balls are great quality and have a nice weight to them.
I found these nice to play with, I ma not entirely sure what the difference is between standard/professional balls in detail and how they affect your game specifically, but these worked great for a game of golf.
I gave these to a friend to try who is a seasoned golf player. He says that they’re great for beginners or for practicing. I’m not sure why they’re not for matches as they seem quite a lot for a box of golf balls. This one I’m going to leave to the experts and say I’d buy them for a gift as they seem good quality to me.
I’m not a golfer so I gifted these to son in law to test. They arrive in black gift box and inside the balls are boxed in sets of 3 would make nice gift for golfer. My son in law has used balls by Trust brand before and thinks there great quality these are cheapest of sets they do and he says these too are nice quality but more suited to beginner as softer than balls he usually uses
These golf balls are great.
Roll nice and fly well, perfect to have with you in any season.
Great gift for any golfer!
Panther are at the low end of the scale for ‘Trust’ and are aimed at beginners. I’m not a golfer so I asked a friend who is a beginner, what he thought of them. He’s given them a go and feels that the balls are very well packaged and that they’d make a good gift for a golfer who is starting out or for a more experienced golfer who practices a lot. Apparently these ‘fly well’, clean easily and they show no signs of splittingso far. Happy to recommend.
Pretty good golf ball in all respects.
Easy to control with the driver, mid high flight, good roll out. Putts true.
These are great as a beginner ball that doesn’t mind losing a few!
Do the job really well for me
As a not very good golfer a ball won’t make any difference to my game, I’m just not very good and can’t blame the tools,
The group of people and some are very good golfers, always swear that a good ball makes a difference and they seemed impressed with the trust set.
These are a good brand and the quality is excellent, I have tried them and I’m still rubbish, but do appreciate these are great balls.
My friends got into golf now that summer is here.
The quality and feel of each of these balls are really good.
When hitting the balls it gives a nice crisp sound which I like and know these are decent set of balls.
I’ve been testing these balls in the garden and they seem pretty good.
Great set of golf balls
These are excellent golf balls, and a pleasure to play golf with. I was lucky enough to review a set of these last year and was really impressed, these ones did not disappoint.
Aimed at beginners this is the cheapest of the range of Trust golf balls.
They are the softest, so a little more forgiving.
Nicely packaged and a good gift for a budding golfer.
Hope you found my review helpful

I recently got into golf now that summer is here.
I’ve been using these balls in the garden and they seem pretty good.
The quality and feel of each of these balls are really good.
When hitting the balls it gives a nice sound which I like and know these are decent set of balls.
Pretty good golf balls
This is a good box of golf balls with you getting 4 boxes of 3 balls inside the main nicely designed box.
I like the presentation of them and they would make a lovely gift if you want to give them to a golfer, and when I tried them out at the range they performed pretty well.
They feel slightly lighter than my usual brand, but this seemed to have no impact on their use with driveway irons, the only slight difference was they seemed to come up a little shorter when driving.
I like them and balls are a nice bright white colour with simple small logos on them.
Overall, not a bad set and they work well and at 25.00 not bad value for money but the unknown brand might put people offer so a deal on them would make them better value.
I normally have a giant bucket of cheap balls obtained from charity shops and bargain buys that we use for general practice and then i have some brand new balls for competitions and for the lead up to competitions. My handicap is 30 and i’m starting to shape my shots more and really focus on wedge shots that stop quickly. A soft covered ball is vital for this so i decided to give these a try.
The box contains 4 sleeves of 3 balls. Each sleeve is numbered the same so you have 3 balls each of numbers 1,2,3,4. When opened they look very upmarket.
We went to Buckpool golf course, a real links course built on the top of a cliff where accuracy is key off the tee, there’s short fast greens, lots of bunkers and generally you have to be on the ball (pardon the pun).
I tried my ussual cheap balls which were ok, but not great. I then switched to these and also gave my playing partner a few to try (they’re in the low 20s for h/c) The difference was remarkable. The cover is soft and almost feels rubbery in the hand. For tees surrounded by a tunnel of gorse bushes where accuracy was essential or a blind tee requiring a bit of a slice or hook the balls responded brilliantly and shaped the shots we wanted. I also had a few wedge shots over bunker onto very fast greens and they were a bit hit or miss in terms of stopping quickly, but i suspect that nay have been more to do with my ability than the ball.
Distance wise, we found these flew well on the fairway and for chips onto the green they popped up nicely. We were also able to spot them pretty easily on the fairways.
Putting wise we both found we were suddenly hitting short. On a putt from the edge of the green we were stopping around 1m short, on a putt of around 2 or 3m it was half that roughly 50cm. I think this is due to the very soft feel absorbing alot of the energy on the green, compared to the pop of a harder ball. After a few holes we got used to it and were putting as normal. We did find from the moment we started putting with them we got a better line, with less random swerves or scratching our heads thinking how did i do that. The “panther” branding with arrows also helped for ball alignment on the green as it runs like a straight line.
After a few holes they had held up reasonably well with the odd scuff from aggresive irons but other that they were quite durable.
Value wise at 25 i would say these are a good buy. I’ve played soft balls like these that you would easily pay another 10 – 15 more to have the branding on the ball. They may not be a very well known brand, but they make a good golf ball.
This is the second pack of trust golf balls that I’ve used so i was already aware of the quality of them, they are excellent quality golf balls , always well packaged and presented, I would say they are excellent value and a bit of a hidden gem as not a lot of my friends had heard of them but they all agree they are superb quality.
I have no problem at all recommending trust golf balls , I love these panther golf balls , I’ve had a little knock about on the local field so far and they are really good.
Not used them on the course yet but I’ll be happy to use these next time i play , I’m only an amateur occasional golfer but I’m sure even experienced golfers would appreciate the quality of these golf balls.
ice set of golf balls, reasonable price. Comes in a lovely box so would make a nice gift from any golf playing friends or family
If you’re not particularly golf snob and you are in the area stages of your game these are going to be more than adequate for your average knock around with friends. I have to be honest I can drive a ball reasonably well but my short game is awful and much more enjoy the 19th. I played nine holes with ease and found no real difference to the very expensive balls I currently have which makes me think the paying a premium for more expensive professional grade balls would seem to be a waste. These are well presented in a presentation box and come individual sleeves. These will be great until I lose them probably sooner rather than later!
First impressions are good. These would make a nice gift for the golf lover in your life.
I’m merely a casual (i.e. not very good) golfer so that these are targeted towards the beginners means that they are probably aimed at the likes of me.
Knocking about with them over the weekend proved a good experience and whilst they didn’t immediately turn me into Rory I felt good using them and there was a good feel to them.
More technically proficient golfers in the group were impressed too and said that they would also make good practise balls for more experienced golfers.
Good golf balls that fly well and seem very responsive off the club. Four stars.
This is a nice set of golf balls. They come in 4 small boxes and I’ve used them already on the golf course. They achieve good distance and are as good as any other balls I’ve played golf with.
Good golf balls for beginners and improvers. There’s 12 balls for about 26 pounds which is a good price for good quality balls of that level. I’d happily practice with them despite not being a beginner.
They have a soft feel to them but they are also durable which can help with both speed and trajectory control. I like the dimples on the ball.
I recommend these if you’re starting to practice golf a bit more seriously.
great presentation box for these golf balls. good quality card, well presented – good gift. the balls work well, good distance and a comfortable strike feel. i’ve smudged them a little and finding them a little tricky to clean, but otherwise very good.
