Had to buy this size tub as the starlings ,parrots woodpecker and bird life have devoured worms very quickly so have to keep filling up the feeders //i have around eight parrots that hog all my feeders like the peaky blinders gang, so all my smaller birds have to wait till they have gone to get a look in at the feeders .where they came from God only knows ,i wake up to a scene of green on my tree every morning ,its like they keep telling more of their green feathered friends we found a great new tree cafe and more keep turning up ? would buy this again as the price is reasonable for 10L x ps i really hope it stops at eight parrots though the tree is getting crowded x
This is dried meal worms for pet feeding. I use it for putting in my wild bird feeders. It’s a big container and has an airtight lid to keep it fresh.
It smells horrible but then I don’t have to eat it. The birds love it.
Birds can’t get enough of them, buy them all the time I would highly recommend them.
I was tempted to buy bagged mealworms but saw some grumbles about quantity in bagged product, which I guessed would be due to a bag being crushed in transit. The tub arrived quickly and the birds love the worms
Good quality bird food , we have so many different types of birds visiting.
Can’t say anything about taste but wild birds love these worms. I top up the tray every day and see lots of activity, especially in the current cold spell, snow and ice.
Birds love these so good value. Fish in pond like them as well when the wind blows them from the bird feeder. Came in a solid black plastic tub and I am now using this for other jobs in the garde like weeding etc. so got the worms plus a useful tub container. Win win.
What can I say the dried mealworms and been putting in garden for 3 weeks now and I have a pair of pied wagtails eating in the garden all day 4 blue tits came from nowhere 6 crows, 5 robins, blackbirds, wren and some young starlins before I just had the odd robin, hence me ording this bucket, all good the odd beatle but that’s to be expected but with all these birds the 5ltr tub has now gone so I ordered a 2kg bag.
Can’t vouch for flavour personally but garden birds haven’t complainec
Bought these to feed songbirds in winter, I have no idea what they taste like but the birds get them down their throats
