The title says it all! New MacBook and they ship it with 67w brick! Anker’s beast come with 100w mode! And with three outputs! All you need is this brick!

    Can’t recommend it enough!

Pops into my bag for travel to the UK, saving the hassle of multiple power converters or travel plugs – charges laptop and phone at the same time with ease. Many travel plugs also take up too much space on a power strip in the office – this one doesn’t!

I have had my eye on this for quite sometime.

I love how compact it is (a must-have as I travel quite frequently for work).

The 2 USB-C is useful for more modern cables, and the single USB-A is a good backup.

With my Macbook Pro, mobile and wireless keyboard being charged, it deals with this work, with minimal effort.

    Cannot recommend it enough!

Charges ever device, including my laptop. Very handy to save me taking multiple chargers with me. Small and light to pack. Shame they don’t do changeable travel plugs for it.

Update: After posting my review below, Anker support reached out and as a result of our communication they sent me a new unit. It arrived only a couple of days after posting my review and I’m delighted to say works perfectly and I can charge my laptop and my phone simultaneously again. They never asked me to update my review, I wanted to do it to reflect my experience. I think this level of customer service has been great and way above my expectations. Thank you very much.

I have preserved my original review below out of fairness because I tried to be objective and this was my experience of the original unit:
This worked great for a while but the 45w C2 port no longer works. I tried swapping the cables and they both work fine in the 100w C1 port and neither work in the C2 port (they are both Anker cables). I read online someone suggesting you unplug the charger for 5 minutes and try it again but it didn’t work. I tried again a couple of times over the past week with different devices, cables and unplugging it for periods up to a couple of hours and the best I managed was was a couple of seconds of alleged charging followed by a warning message about low voltage and it didn’t want to work again. I’m on the fence about keeping the charger because it’s still vaguely useful for my work laptop and I can alternate with my phone, plus returning it is a pain.

Great charger however, if you try and charge 3 phones using all the ports it just refuses to charge any. However I can get away with 2 phones and 1 pair of earbuds. A small issue for me but a possible deal breaker for others

There’s a fair length and heft to this thing, at least for the variant with a three-pin UK plug. That’s usually fine in the UK but when you’re abroad and using a travel adapter, things can get a bit hairy if the thing isn’t plugged in vertically. It’s almost too heavy for a two-pin travel adapter plus this wall charger to support so you might find yourself propping it up with a couple of books.
Other than that, it does appear to peform very well. It’ll charge my XPS13 9310 and XPS15 9500 (despite it complaining – it does actually charge, even when on) so it’s a useful replacement for two ungainly Dell chargers.

I recently purchased the Anker USB C Plug, specifically the Anker 737 Charger GaNPrime 120W PPS 3-Port Fast Wall Charger, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. This charger is truly a powerhouse that caters to a wide range of devices, making it an essential accessory for tech enthusiasts.

First and foremost, the charging speed of this Anker USB C Plug is remarkable. With its GaNPrime technology and Power Delivery support, it delivers an impressive 120W of power, ensuring a lightning-fast charging experience for my MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Galaxy S22, and even my Dell XPS 13. No more waiting around for hours to get my devices fully charged.

What sets this charger apart is its versatility. The 3-port design allows me to charge multiple devices simultaneously, without any compromise on speed or performance. It’s incredibly convenient, especially when I’m traveling and need to charge my MacBook, iPhone 13, and Galaxy Note 20+ all at once. The inclusion of USB-C and USB-A ports provides compatibility with a wide range of devices, making it a truly universal charger.

Furthermore, the built-in PPS (Programmable Power Supply) technology ensures optimal charging performance for devices that support it. This means that my Galaxy S21 and iPhone 13 Pro receive the fastest and most efficient charging speeds possible, extending the lifespan of their batteries.

In terms of build quality, the Anker USB C Plug is solidly constructed and feels durable. The compact and lightweight design makes it highly portable, fitting easily into my bag or pocket. The foldable plug prongs add an extra level of convenience, as I don’t have to worry about any sharp edges or tangled cables when it’s stored away.

One minor downside I found was that the Anker USB C Plug does get slightly warm during extended charging sessions, but it’s well within acceptable limits and doesn’t affect its performance or safety.

In conclusion, the Anker USB C Plug, specifically the Anker 737 Charger GaNPrime 120W PPS 3-Port Fast Wall Charger, is an outstanding charging solution for anyone with multiple devices. Its exceptional charging speed, versatility, and solid build quality make it a reliable and must-have accessory for MacBook Pro/Air, iPad Pro, Galaxy S22/S21, Dell XPS 13, Note 20/10+, iPhone 13/Pro, and more. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a powerful and efficient charger for their tech arsenal.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIt really is though, ” The one plug to rule them all ” I use it for my Phone, my Laptop, my BT Speakers and devices I need to set up at work ( IT guy, I deal with random Phones, tablets, laptops daily ), so I really can’t complain, doesn’t seem to overheat, gets a little warm, but for the power output, I mean it should be cooking, but doesn’t, its a little taller than you imagine it, but nothing that puts you off, fits anywhere in a backpack, has USB-A and USB-C, so covers all, charges things to their specific rate, which the device has the right tech inside it to communicate ( which most new devices do )

Conclusion, Little taller than you might expect ( nothing off-putting ), has both Main USB types and charges most devices at the possible max/needed charging rate, I use it for multiple different devices daily, real lifesaver

I wanna/Would buy more for all over the house and to keep one permanently in each backpack ( work & home ) but my Wife won’t let me, Due to the Price of “Just a Plug” I was offended at the “Just a plug” sentence, started going to the plugs defence explaining it all, but that only made it worse and she tried to understand/not fall asleep, but ( she just doesn’t get it xD ) she isn’t a techy, shes the kinda person who if she didn’t have me would still be using that tiny 5V apple plug from her iPhone 4 and complaining that it take 8hrs to charge not realising its the plug shes using xD

I use this as a replacement charger for my 16″ M1 MBP, as it has additional charging ports and is half the size of the original charger. I could not be more pleased – this powerful little thing charges the Mac without breaking a sweat and provides the additional functionality of additional ports. Impossible not recommend this thing.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love anker products and this one did not disappoint. It does everything it promises, plus it is highly intelligent in that when the battery level reaches around 80% it reduces the rate of charging so it’s not to damage the battery. It does get quite warm when in use, that’s nothing to worry about, and to me it showed how hard it’s working.
    I would recommend without hesitation.

I love it. Small, compact, solid, smart, stupidly gutsy, I love it. Charges my laptop and my phone simultaneously. Supports the fast charging options. Very happy.
Anker is my go-to for all things charging because their products do not disappoint. Not the cheapest brand, but quality costs money, and if you buy cheap you buy thrice.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve only used it for a few days and seems to be working perfectly fine — really charges my gadgets in half the time my old charger could. However, I used it to charge the Anker powerbank that I bought alongside this, and found this heated up rather quickly too. Will see if it happens again the next time I charge my Anker powerbank and update this review thereafter.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFirstly, I have purchased this charger and the below items with my own money rather than being given items free to review.

I bought this for a week hiking trip where we might be days between mains charges and needed to keep my phone and my girlfriend’s and our other devices charged. I bought this specifically due to the 140w output charge and using Anker’s 543 USB C to USB C Cable (140W, 6ft) I could charge my
Anker 737 24,000mAh Power Bank to 100% in under an hour at cafes/pubs/campsites.

In addition to charging the power bank, using a third party cable we were also able to charge our phones at the same time using one mains socket in under an hour. I would highly recommend the combination of the this charger, power bank and cable.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI have done some testing with a USB Power Meter. The USB C ports when used individually seem to output close enough to 100w and when USB C1 and C2 are used together this 100w is shared equally between the two USB C ports. The unusual behaviour happens when you plug anything into the USB A port as soon as you do this the USB C2 output drops to about 9w and stays there, the USB A port outputs about 15w. USB C1 port stays outputting a good wattage. I would say if you are going to buy this think of it as a two port USB charger and only use the USB C ports.

So the positives first: Its compact, stays cool and provides high wattage, reliable power to 3 devices at the same time. This is absolutely the plug I take with me when I travel.

The negative is for Steam Deck users: While the single socket Anker 65W charger will maintain a Steam Deck at full charge while in use, this will not. It drains slowly, granted but it does still drain, depending on the game youre playing. The cable I am using is an Anker cable rated for 100W+ and works just fine with the 65W charger. If youre not a Steam Deck user, this is a 5 star product.

I travel a lot for work and all my devices are USB-C and rather than carrying chunky laptop brick as well as other plugs to charge other devices i purchased this 120W plug. Its amazing. I have 2 work laptops and can charge both at the same time as well either my phone or other small devices. Have since purchased another one of these for home so i can just leave 1 in my bag at all times.

  22. Lily says:

No idea what the other reviewers were complaining about, charges at the same speed as the original steam deck charger, just don’t plug other stuff at the same time.

In my opinion, this is one of the best chargers to buy if you need a multi-port charger for all of your devices. It may require a solid chunk of money but it is totally worth it. It is extremely convenient and can fast charge all of your devices (or one/two laptops). This charger is also great for travel due to its sleek and compact sizing, especially for a 140W charger. Get this charger if you have many electronics which need a lot of power to fast charge or if you just want an all-in-one charger for travel.

The product is well boxed with Apple like pull tabs to open the box. I was amazed at how physically small and weighty the charger was on taking it out of the box. It has a very solid premium feel to it. When you connect a device like my iPhone for example, it seems to perform some kind of ‘hand shake’ operation as the iPhone did not start charging immediately but only a second or so after connecting it. I think that is the processor negotiating what kind of load is being attached. If you plug a second device onto one of the other outlets, such as my iPad, the charger briefly stops charging the first device then reconnects. I think this all has to do with the processor management system in the charger. It is a very sophisticated device. There is a tremendous amount of intelligent control with modern day chargers and I would imagine a whole lot more with this one. The charger runs moderately warm when you first connect a device and cools down near the end of the charging cycle as it negotiates trickle charging. So far I am very impressed with this charger and I’ve ordered the 737 140W portable power bank to complement it.

It almost fits my hand’s palm, yet it has no issues charging my laptop and quick-charging my Pixel 6 PRO and Pixel 4 XL. I was expecting at least a 30W USB-C 0.5m cable for this money, but no cables are included.
    It’s really my only gripe.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWas really great when it worked, but died today and now doesn’t output any power at all on any socket. Just over three months old, so a bit underwhelmed about the longevity.

This is able to quickly charge my iPhone 14 max but more importantly can charge and keep my HP 15″ laptop powered up while traveling and is a fraction of the size of the original power supply.

This is just what was needed in the market rather than the bulky and limited to 60w PD multi port desk hubs.

Perhaps there are smaller for your devices….yet this is the smallest for both laptops and phones.

Charges my phone in 1hr/30 where my Nintendo charger does in 2hr 30
    Normal charger 3hr/4hrs

Great for my dell 2 in 1 13inch laptop which was the main reason of purchase as the charger was bulky and you can charge 3 things at once.

Lastly this is not the charger for bigger more powerful laptops my dell 15 it states slow charging needs original charger so bear that in mind.

I’d recently bought the smaller 65w version for carrying back and forth to work for phone and laptop charging, when this came down in the sales I grabbed one to use in the house. The extra bonus is this also has the old style usb port for a few legacy items I have.

It is quite chunky though so if you’re buying for travel just be prepared for that.

The Anker 737 120w GaNPrime charger feels solid and sturdy with a great finish. It can charge my laptop, phone (and a 3rd device) with no problems. It feels warm when charging the laptop, but not hot.
The only suggestion I’d make is that they could bundle at least one cable for the price of the charger.
I would recommend this product. They also make a cheaper 65w version which could be useful if you don’t need 120w.

Bought to charge my 737 powerbank quickly and does the job. It charges about 88w and not above with the 140w cable. I am happy with my purchase. I feel I need more tech products to use it more often maybe a laptop or a drone. I just use to charge powerbank and my S9+ at the moment but isn’t needed as phone can’t charge above 12w.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have used Anker Power supplies for years now. I had the 100 W GaN power supply in the US and loved the compactness and portability it offered. After relocating to the UK version, I was looking for a similar power supply. Although this unit is not as compact as the US version, it provides all of the power I need to charge my laptop and other devices simultaneously while still being lighter and more compact than the native Apple chargers or any other 3rd party charger.

One thing I would recommend to Anker – Make a version of this with retractable or foldable prongs for the mains connector. That would make this perfect for travel.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAs the header says, this charger is capable of delivering Super Fast Charging 2.0 (~40w) to my Samsung Tab S7+. It’s surprising how many chargers can’t do this (certainly none of the previous Ankers could).
And considering I paid 40 for the original Samsung super fast charger (one of the only reliable options for Super Fast Charging 2.0 before), which only has the one port and is virtually the same size, this charger is pretty good value, in my opinion.

I don’t actually have enough devices to test the stated 120w limit, but it was able to charge my tablet at 40w, my phone at 20w, and the kids’ Kindle Fire at 15w, without getting hot or emitting too much coil whine. Note that there is some coil whine but it really is faint and you realistically have to be sat right next to it, listening for it 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis things a great “little” charger. It’s bigger and heavier than most other previous gen chargers but it’s packin’ the power with 120w total output.
I use it to charge my Samsung phone, tablet and watch all together.

Not a lot else to say really, does exactly what it says. Looks good too, even if it is only a charger and out of the way mostly.
