Performance/price ratio is massive. I used watt display cable. It can charge 2 devices at 20W simultaneously.
This is a very useful product as you can charge two devices at the same time. I use this to charge my iPad Air and Apple Watch which both utilise USB-C cables. I’ve had no overheating issues so far. Overall, it works really well and fast charging.
It’s a very good travel charger when you want to travel and not take multiple chargers. It’s not the most fastest charging charger but it’s okay. I would prefer faster charger in this day and age. 20w is not fast enough. But if you need a basic fast charger for travelling then you can use i
A nice two-port plug. Works well and charging speed seems good. USB C is everywhere now, so good to have a compatible plug.
For true fast charging, I’ve found you need USB C to USB C/Lightning, and this plug does a fantastic job of enabling me to do that at the same time for my iPad and iPhone.
It’s amazing how quickly this charges my devices, especially in the 20-80% range (there is a noticeable slowdown from 80-100%).
It’s nice and compact and doesn’t get too warm.
This is a great charger with some of the latest charging tech in a wonderfully affordable and small package. It is compliant with the latest PowerDelivery (PD) 3.0 standard, supports QuickCharge (QC) 3.0 and has all the battery and charging protection systems against excessive current, overheating, overvoltage, overcharging and short-circuit protections… to name a few.
The device can support charging two devices at the same time. The charger has a max 40W power output but is split between the two ports. So if you use both ports, 20W will be supplied to the labelled ‘PD-C1’ port and the remaining 20W will be supplied to the other port labelled ‘PD-C2’. However, it would be nice where if you’re charging one device via one of the USB C ports, the device will charge at the full 40W instead. This may be the case and may be supported by the charger, but the description does not mention this and I do not yet have a USB wattage tester to be able to check this.
For those interested in the unboxing experience, the sleek white charger arrives in a well-fitting box, not larger than needs to be. It is branded and showcases the charger’s abilities, similar to what you would get from brands like Anker. Inside is the charger, wrapped in a plastic wrapper/bag and a little paper manual, all contained in a plastic tray. The essentials needed to get started. What I like about this is that it very closely resembles the looks of Apple’s more expensive 20W USB-C Power Adapter that only charges one device.
One thing that I wish this adapter had, is the folding/retractable prongs similar to ‘Apple’s 20W USB-C Power Adapter’. This one addition would make it the perfect travel companion.
Upon plugging the charger into the mains, the charger was ready for use. It was also nice to see that the ports were nice and stiff upon plugging in the cables. This is convenient as you feel comfortable knowing that the cable is nice and secure and won’t come loose. Once connected to a Lightning USB-C cable, I could charge my iPhone 14 Pro Max from 0 to 50% within 30-45 minutes.
Overall I’m pretty pleased with this power brick at the incredible 11.99 price it’s listed at the time of writing this. It’s small enough to chuck in a backpack to take to school or work and it fast charges most devices (including my power-hungry 12.9″ iPad Pro). Coming in 8 cheaper than Apple’s offering or 28 cheaper if you factor in the fact this also can charge two devices at the same speed and time. This is a no-brainer and I highly recommend it.
This is such a neat little plug. It’s so much smaller than any I’ve seen before. Really handy to carry around in my work bag and covers my charging needs without multiple plugs.
This fast charges and produces the same speed as my original Samsung charger on an s10 if I use its cable. Those speeds are matched even if I have 2 devices connected.
No issues whatsoeve
Good quality plug – It has 2 USB-C connections so can charge 2 things at once – makes it an ideal space/plug saver… The cables fit in very securely with no wiggle room and both devices charged fast – I was expecting to see a drop in charging levels when 2 devices were plugged in but it didn’t happen, so it’s great.
Disclaimer: I have used this to charge 9th Gen iPad – I don’t have an iPhone (which the listing states this product is designed for), but it shouldn’t make any difference.
I like the fact that this charger is capable of parallel charging two devices, each at high power (appx. 20 W per device). Most only have a single output, so to charge multiple devices you’d need a splitter. This way you don’t, though you will obviously need one cable per device.
Inside the box are brief instructions, and the charging plug. There are no cables included, which is fine to be honest. If you’re like me, extra cables are just a headache and end up thrown away or traded in.
The plug is pretty well made, with no signs of gaps or glue leakage between the two sections. There are individual power outputs marked on the case (voltage and current) up to a maximum of around 20 W, and from these you can determine the power (power = current x voltage).
The charging of my iPad started out slow, but the rate of charging seemed to increase as time went on. I need to look more into this, and will update the review accordingly if there are any issues. The plug did also get very warm…
Overall, a good item, and at 12 (October 2022) it’s good value to my mind. If the plug contacts would fold down, this would be even better, and would improve the ability to travel with this plug.
It is getting to a point in my house where the lack of ability to charge anything is becoming a daily struggle. With all the phones, tablets, and other tech stuff, it is becoming a full-time job managing it all. When I saw this dual charging plug, I thought at the very least it could take mine and my husband’s phones out of the charging rat race, but actually found it was far more useful than that. Here’s what I thought of it.
Compatibility
The first job was working out was this plug is, and isn’t, compatible with. Luckily, it has a wide range and covered everything we had. So far so good. Here’s a reminder of everything it works with so you can see if it will work for you:
iPhone 13/ 13 Pro/ 13 Pro Max/ 13 Mini; iPhone 12/ 12 Pro/ 12 Pro Max/ 12 Mini, iPhone 11/ 11 Pro/ 11 Pro Max; iPad Pro 2020, iPad Air 4. iPad Mini 6, Air Pods Pro, Galaxy S21/S21 Ultra/S21+/S20
Fast charging
When I saw the claim that this could produce 3 times faster-charging experience, I was very intrigued and put it to the test immediately on my almost-dead iPhone. After 30 minutes it was just over 50% charged — a marked improvement on my branded iPhone charger, which I wasn’t expecting.
Safety
Another great aspect is that built into the design, are safety features that prevent your devices from getting damaged from overheating and overloading. This is essential (painful lessons learned from past mistakes) especially if you’re using the dual charging feature with other devices.
Conclusion
Overall, this charging plug lives up to its promises. The compatibility is wide and should cover most people’s needs and the fact that me and my husband can share it is really convenient and means fewer wires getting in the way. 100% recommended.
The TOPK 40 W USB C charger has 2 20 W PD ports. The charger is compact in size measuring 5 x 5 x 4 cm, Which is width, height and depth excluding the 3 UK socket pins. The charger has an easy to grip indentation section on either side of the plug for easy removing from the wall socket. The 2 USB C ports are on the bottom of the charger. I charged my iPhone 12 Pro using an MFi certified USB C to Lightning charging cable by The brand DGVERS, and for the purpose of this review I checked my phone every 30 minutes to see how the charger was performing. My iPhone had 8% battery before charging and these are the charging percentages every 30 minutes starting at 8%, 63%, 90%, 99% and then five minutes later 100%. So in total it took one hour and 35 minutes to charge, which I personally think is a good fast charging time. I also simultaneously charged 2 devices, Which was my iPhone 12 Pro and a Samsung galaxy S8 phone. My iPhone had 7% battery before charging, and the Samsung S8 had run out of battery. I still was using the same charging cable with my iPhone and with the Samsung S8 I was using an Oraimo USB C to USB C charging cable, and for the purpose of this review to see how The charger would perform when simultaneously charging I checked both devices every 30 minutes. These are the charging percentages of my iPhone every 30 minutes starting at 7%, 63%, 90%, 99% and then 7 minutes later 100%. So in total took one hour and 37 minutes. The Samsung S8 starting at 0%, 49%, 85%, and then 26 minutes later 100%. So took 1 hour and 26 minutes to charge, which I am satisfied with as it gave good fast charging times for simultaneously charging both devices. Overall I’m happy with its performance, and I personally think it’s very good value for money at 11.99. I hope you have found my review helpful.
I was able to draw a steady 16-17 Watts on my S20. This also held true when my wife plugged her phone into the second port.
All in all, you can charge two devices at the same time, and this isn’t much bigger than a standard charger from any other make.
At under a tenner at the time of revue (11.99, but has a 3 voucher offer currently), you won’t regret buying this!
Ok so the morning I got this plug I had realised I’d not charged my “iPad Pro 12.9″(that I’m writing this review on) and had drained the “Anker power Bank” that I plug my iPad into the power it’s for longer. So I grabbed both, headed out, and upon arrival, plugged both in using this ” TOPK 40W[20W+20W] 2-Port USB C Charger Plug”, and I have to say, GREAT. I obviously knew it’s a fast charger, but I didn’t think it would charge both devices quite as quick as it did. Now I did use “fast charge cables” for both, because I always do, but like I say, they charged faster than I expected. Now obviously the iPad was charged first, so I removed it and left the “20,000MaH power bank charging, which obviously then did kick the plug into “fast charge” for the remaining charging.
The look and build quality is good. Th rounded edges, with little ergonomic indent on the side are a nice touch, that add to the overall aesthetic. It has subtle branding by way of grey writing on the main facia.
All the edges and joins from the “body”2 of the plug, to the “wall side”2 of the plug, are neat & crisp, no added material, no gap differential, just good build quality and an obvious attention to quality.
So my final thoughts on this ” TOPK 40W[20W+20W] 2-Port USB C Charger Plug”;
Quality. =Very Good (Precise all over, clean lines and little design touches that looked good)
Aesthetic. =Good (Subtle design touches add to the overall feeling of quality)
Utility. =Good (Offering both “Double charging” & “Fast charging”, it has wide use)
Value. =Good (With the power it puts out & the ability to charge 2x at once, great)
Would I recommend the ” TOPK 40W[20W+20W] 2-Port USB C Charger Plug”?, I absolutely would, “Yes”.
I use lightning to USB C cables with this to charge our Apple products – phones and iPads. Works well, fast charging speeds and is nice and compact. Not overheating or any other issues. At around a tenner it’s good value for money and I like that I can charge two devices at once which saves even more space.
I used it for the extension lead to my led light as the original one was too short for where I wanted it to be and it worked 🙂 I like that it is small and compact and not bulky and heavy.
The product comes very well packaged and is very well built it is made of quality materials and there is a decent weight to it I use it to charge both my iPhone and iPad at the same time and they both fast charge, the plug is extremely safe to use and does not overheat in the slightest I’m very happy with it and for the price it’s definitely worth a buy
I bought this charger after my original one broke. It is very well made and great quality, very fast charging and does not get hot. Didn’t even know that a phone could charge that quick!
It also has 2 charging ports very handy.
So far it is working very well and no problems.
I definitely recommend, very pleased with it!
Nice compact charger with two ports on the bottom. Tested it against my usual charger which said 1hr 35 mins to full charge whereas this one said 1 hr 11mins so is definitely faster.
Great choice for me and my husband. We can charger together and not fight. Kkk it’s faster and helps me a lot when I need to load fast.
This 3 pin UK plug adaptor works well. It has two USB C ports that are both fast charging ports which means you can speedily charge 2 devices at the same time. It is a nice solid design and not too bulky. Works great and does the job!
This 20W+20W fast charger is well made, comes with a 3 year warranty, and can fast charge both my iPhone 13 Pro and 14 Pro at the same time – some I’ve tried only offer fast charging for one device at a time (even when they have 2 ports). It has small indents in the sides which make it easy to grip for inserting and removing from a wall socket.
I used this with my iPhones via USB-C to Lightning cable, and also with USB-C to USB-C cables into my wireless charging pads. Everything worked perfectly as it should.
Great plug! Good value. Can never have enough of these fast charger plugs – everything is going USB-C soon enough!
The “USB C Plug Fast Charge, TOPK 40W[20W+20W] 2-Port USB C Charger Plug, USB-C Power Wall Adapter Plug Compatible with iPhone 13/13 Pro/13 Pro Max/12/12 Pro/12 Pro Max/12 Mini/11 Pro,iPad Pro,Samsung” Supports the commonly-used PD standard that is suitable for various brands of smartphones (several examples are offered), tablets and other devices.
When ordered, there was no information concerning included cables whether Lightning, USB-C etc and it is likely that cables suiting specific devices may need to be purchased if not currently owned; in reality, no cables are included. As its ports are USB-C, a small and inexpensive USB-C to female USB-A adapter may be required so that any existing USB-A-fitted cables can be used to avoid the need to seek suitable USB-C-fitted equivalents that may not be available.
This is a fraction of the price of an equivalent GaN charger, all of which support PD charge standards. There are some advantages of GaN including safety for the charger and connected devices although they are more applicable to higher charge voltages, currents etc. If not needed, this will perform equally well and is more cost-effective.
