Definitely better than sleeping on the ground! But we’ve also used it for sleepovers under sleeping bags and it way better than sleeping on the floor! Nice cushion. If you don’t have enough padding between you and the part you do feel the waffle pattern, but no big deal. Great price for what you get!!!

Fr mich ist die Matratze top !! Preis / Leistung stimmen hier 🙂
Einziges Manko ist das man das Kopfkissen nicht extra aufpumpen bzw. Auf die gewnschte Form anpassen kann.

Inflates easily , takes no room at all! Keep in mind this is a sleeping pad, not a mattress!

Easy to inflate and love how little space it takes up to throw it in my backpack and bring everywhere

I think it could be thicker for heavier folks. BUT. It does the job of having a good barrier between you and the ground so you’re not on the hard ground directly. If you’re a lighter person then this is perfect thickness. The foot pump feature is brilliant. You cover the hole as you step and it puffs right up. Wonderful and easy after a long day.

Don’t get me wrong; if you’re interested in glamping this is not going to equate a regular air mattress level of comfort. When I was a kid, my family used to bring an air mattress for when we would go car camping/glamping, and I always missed the padding/insulation when backpacking as an adult with my husband. We tried bringing yoga mats but those are pretty heavy for backpacking and they often get beat up/snagged along the trails since they have to ride outside our packs. They also don’t offer super great cushion or insulation, and they aren’t really long enough for my husband.

This is a fabulous compromise; a great way to bring a little bit of glamping with you anywhere! I love the built in pump/valve which makes inflation a breeze… the last thing you want to do after a big strenuous hike is sit and blow a bunch of valuable air into your sleeping mat! The size of the mat is also AWESOME. Definitely long enough for 99% of the population. There is a very nice pillow that is built in and doesn’t move around, and it even has a small indentation for your head which I find is a very small change that can make a big difference for comfort.

Last, but definitely not least, I was AMAZED that I was able to get this rolled back up and into its storage bag!! I just followed the simple instructions for deflation (and confirmed with the helpful pictures to be certain I was doing it as intended) and it rolled up perfectly. Took about 60 seconds. I will probably get a second one of these for my husband so we can snap them together in our tent next time we go camping. Great buy!

This sleeping pad is great. We got it to compliment another one so my whole family could sleep together in one tent.
Its comfortable to sleep in it. We always lay a comforter on top.
It also is easy enough to deflate, just make sure you have time to let all the air out.
    I do recommend it.

I was a little skeptical at first thinking it wouldnt be much of a difference than just sleeping on the ground but boy was i wrong. Im 6’1 and i didnt think it would be long enough but it is. I just got back from camping and this makes sleeping on the ground a much better experience. Its super easy to inflate, deflate and roll up to store. if your not sleeping on a sleeping pad when you are camping you need to pick one up asap.

    Excellent pack size.
Easy inflate even though I don’t like the foot pump.
    Comfortable on my back.
4 stars because when I turn on my side I touch the ground.
Overall it is a nice pad especially for the price.

This mat is amazing! It is so small and light. And, it has a built-in pump that easily inflates the mat quickly. And it deflates just as easily. It does provide a good level of comfort. This is a must-have if you need a sleeping mat and don’t want anything bulking or heavy.

The roll pad comes in a nice bag for keeping it contained while in your pack. It unrolled and rolled smoothly and never stuck to itself. The pad seemed long until it was inflated and then was a good size. The air pump is nicely integrated in the foot of the pad and it was quick to pump up and the plugs kept it full all night. The integral pillow is a nice feature and was not too large or hard as there was twice the air in the pillow. Deflated quickly and easily. It is somewhat heavy for long range, long distance backpack trips, but would work for short distance and duration packs. Perfect for primitive camping at a campground.

This thing is wonderful. It replaced the thermal rest and it is way more comfortable. It is almost as easy to deploy and definitely easier to pack away. It’s pretty much self inflating with a little bit of foot pumping for about 30 seconds to top it off. It is light and compact and very easy to pack either inside or outside of a backpack. It’s not the smallest one around but that extra inch in diameter and 3 inches of length buys you a lot of extra comfort.

I didn’t have any bare spots so when I sat on the mattress my butt didn’t actually hit the ground. That’s unusual. I like the fact that it’s a little raised on one end to help with the pillow and it was pretty easy to put away in the morning and roll up. It’s still a bit of a challenge to put back in the bag but I am never good at that. Seriously, I never get anything back in the packaging it’s like a running joke amongst everyone who knows me.

I was able to roll it up though and my partner was able to put it in the bag. We used two of these and kept together with a piece of webbing and they held up really well during the night where there was a little bit of activity as well as sleeping.

I’m ready to retire the thermarest, this is 10 times more comfortable.

As far as durability we will see how that goes and I will continue to update this review.

I brought this in a camping trip and my friends all want one now. It packs extremely small and is very lightweight. I used my hands instead of feet and got the whole thing pumped up in less than a minute. Since it’s so thin it seemed like it wasn’t going to work well but once you lay down it’s surprisingly comfortable. I picked this brand because it’s longer than others. I’m 6′ tall and was able to lay down without my feet hanging over the edge. The material is a little slippery for your sleeping bag but it also wipes down well. You can also hose it off after use. The “pillow” shape was great too. I’m a stomach sleeper so I was a little worried that it would be too much but it was great. The middle is a little thinner and the sides are thicker so you can move your head around for different pillow thicknesses. It didn’t deflate but I added a few more pumps of air between days. Great as a sleeping mat or mattress to go on your cot.

This is a great little camp mat! It has a very small footprint when rolled up and lightweight. Very convenient built in pump on the bottom of the mattress. It also has little clips for another mat to be attached next to it. It takes less than a minute to pump up. I did a time lapse of inflation, but we forgot to close the hole by the headrest so doesn’t look completely full. “User error” haha
My husband tryed it out and he is 230lbs which he was rolling around on it and he didn’t touch the ground while laying on the mat. Very excited to use this mat on our next camping trip! I would recommend this product for anyone that wants to get a good rest while camping.

    Great little camping mat!

This is a nice durable camping pad. My only complaint is that the pillow gets really hard when the pad is pumped up enough for the bottom to be firm. When I took some air out to try to make the pillow less firm, then the I would touch the ground underneath the pad. The pad does deflate and fold up easily to fit back into its included bag. So it travels easily.

Camping is a lot of fun – but sleeping on the ground isn’t the best part of it. Even the nicest sleeping bag or tent floor doesn’t do a whole lot to cushion the ground or make it softer. But this inflatable sleeping pad does just! It inflates quickly with one of three options – a nifty trick built in foot pump that inflates the pad just by pressing your foot up and down on it, or an air pump if you have one or by blowing into it. The foot pump actually does work quite well and so is my preferred way of inflating the pad, but the other two options work just as well also. Once inflated, it stayed inflated (a big plus!) and provided a nice cushion between the ground and my sleeping bag. There’s even a puffier section at the top that can act like a pillow, helping keep your head even further off the ground!

I tried it out in the summer (of course) and it was definitely very helpful – I could see it being even better as an insulation layer to keep you off the ground when it’s cooler in the spring/fall. It’s also fairly lightweight and condenses into a small pack, which is of course very helpful for camping and hauling your stuff to and from your camp sight (or if you’re backpacking, etc.). It’s thick enough and well-made enough to be fine on the ground with a lot of use and with the weight of an actual adult on it though I wouldn’t go dragging it on the ground or anything – it’s still fundamentally a balloon after all.

So if you could use a bit more comfort while sleeping on your camping adventures, this pad is well worth a try!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNot so many pics, but mostly in the video.

I’m 6’4, this fits anyone 6’5 and shorter.

I like the cutout where the head goes, so often camping pillows you fight all night they’re so slippery with all the sleeping bag material.

Sets up in about a minute with two hands and not operating a camera.

Foot pump, mouth, or blower pump. I like the foot option, take a minute to start first time from packaging.

Love it. Need a cuddle buddy? Grab 2, the snap together at the edge. I button this one up to itself when I’m rolling it back up.

Get off the hard forest floor!

This is an ultralight inflatable pad for hiking. It unfolds and pumps up quickly with the attached foot pump. It provides insulation and some padding, but you’re not resting on a featherbed. You aren’t CARRYING a featherbed, either, and that’s the tradeoff for a backpacker.
The pad comes with instructions and some patches (thank you). It rolls out to around 6 and a half feet. For most people, your feet aren’t going to hang off the end.
This is a great choice if you need to move (and carry) light. If you want more comfort, and want to carry more weight, then you might consider other options.

I bought this sleeping pad for car camping and I think it will be just what I wanted. It is a good size for me (I’m 5′ 8′ and weigh about 155 lbs) and I think it could be fine for anyone up to six foot, or maybe even a bit taller. The pad is rectangular and measures 78.0 (including the pillow area) X 26.5 X 2.25 inches and weighs 1.87 lbs in its stuff sack. It took me just under 40 seconds and about 65 depressions of the built-in foot pump to inflate the mattress. The material appears to be of good quality and I expect it will maintain its inflation throughout the night (and several more). I am a side sleeper, and did not feel the ground under me when the pad was fully inflated. The built in pillow was firm, but had a slight manufacturing odor that I expect will dissipate over a few day’s use (I plan to cover the area where my head will rest until the odor dissipates).

The workmanship of the pad itself is fine, although a seam in the stuff sack was unfinished around the draw string…no big deal. There are snaps along the sides for attaching a second (or even third, etc. pad) which seems a nice feature for those who like to keep their mate close.

I will be taking it on a four day car camping trip this coming week and will update this review if I find there are significant additional details that would warrant it.

First of all, there is no “gift” box. Also, it doesn’t take 40 seconds to inflate and 1 second to deflate. It took a good five minutes to inflate and about a minute to deflate if you rolled it up.

That being said, it folds up compact into a carrying case. I keep it in my car for days at the beach or picnics or need an extra place to sleep when my partner is snoring, and we’re at a hotel. I’d say it’s okay for guests if you use a sleeping bag or other cushioning. On its own, it’s not enough to be comfortable.
