I got this for a Camper van and wanted it permanently on with the back light so needed usb power to ac . Come with usb to ac . Works straight away easy to set up and accurate give or take a degree .
Clear and colourful display, 4 screen dimming settings are useful.
I bought this to replace an elderly similar type of weather station that I’d had for 10 years!!
If on battery mode the screen only stays on for a minute or so if touched..but it stays on constantly if connected to a suitable charger via a laptop computer or tablet using the supplied USB cable.
My only gripe is that no mains adapter / transformer was supplied as advertised but luckily I was able to use the one from my previous unit which has suitable output.
All in all its good for its price with useful weather information, moon phases, sea tide, and barometric pressure and temperatures both inside and out, alarm/snooze, and time and date.
Very pleased with this weather station which is good value for money. Easy to set up although the outside sensor is best placed in a water proof spot otherwise the damp effects the signal.
Everything is good with this little machine it’s easy to set up and to read it its self explanatory, bright when it’s on and the price is good only what I would call a draw back it only lights up when you touch it and in only a few seconds it changes to a dark screen If I had nowing that then I wouldn’t have bought it but saying that am happy with it .
I’ve had several of this type of unit, and this is very similar to lots of others out there. The display is clear and easy to read, and the unit is easy to set up. Note that the full display only shows for a few seconds unless the unit is connected to a power supply. A USB cable is supplied, but you’ll need your own USB mains adapter, unless you have a mains power point which also has a USB charging port.
Easy to setup and use nice bright display connected to out door sensor without any problems, I like that it displays the date, month and day in full as I loose track of the day from time to time
It’s quite well made, and very easy to set up and read, I do question the outdoor sensor, it cuts out in bad weather, I’m not sure if that’s down to moisture getting into it, but if you think about that when placing it outside, and put it in a more sheltered area where the rain can’t hammer it, it work’s pretty good, follow the instructions and keep charged batteries inside it for when the power cuts out, I don’t think you’ll have any issues
Like that this product has a cable, so that it can be connected to a USB port, saves on batteries.
The brightness of the screen can be adjusted which is also a nice feature.
