As far as fingerprint reading goes, this machine works great! It’s very quick and accurate when it comes to scanning fingerprints, so you don’t need to worry about fingerprints not being read. Once you understand how the machine works, it’s pretty simple to setup and explain to your employees. I would use the app as much as possible, as using the machine to set things up is like trying to text on an old nokia – it takes a very long time!
Overall, I think this device works pretty well although you do need to on the same wifi network to “remotely” access it – There’s no true remote access unless you do fancy virtual server setups. Would recommend!
This does what is says on the tin although so quality of life features would be nice. The ability to download and email all the staffs hours at once instead of individual only as well as cloud compatibility would level this device up.
Set up easily but had two issues. We contacted NGTeco by email and within a few hours were contacted by telephone. Jason provided solutions and both worked so now we are ready for our first end of month salary calculations using fingerprint clocking.
I’m in the process of beginning to start up a new business with my sis when she moves over here from the US and stumbled across this, I immediately messaged her and said shall we get this as its perfect to keep track of clocking in and out, she said yes! So with that I ordered it.
I’ve read through it all and tested it to see if it works and I can safely say everything does and it seems simple enough to set up. It isn’t heavy so it won’t be a hassle should we hang it up on the wall and for a business item, its a bargain of a price in my opinion.
It’s all packed back away, ready for it be used in the next few months, I like my gadgets and I’m excited to use it properly.
It is certainly obvious that no one wants to pay more than the agreedprice and no one wants to work more than the agreed numbersof hours.
For this reason was invented time sheets we’re the time in and time out can be controlled.
With this system it will be possible to have a greater control and everything will be Digital making it easier and faster to process the payments.
As It is such a beautiful machine it will not damage the company image by stocking something like this at the front door for easy access.
This works great. It’s easy to set up following the instructions. Didn’t take too long. It’s super easy to use. Really impressed with it. Can’t fault it for the price. Great value for money.
This is a great solution for a clocking in system for a small business. It doesn’t require any additional software and is app enabled. It’s really easy to use and the fingerprint identification works really well. Great product at a great price point.
Really impressed with this unit. Wasn’t sure if it would be any good when I opened it, it felt quite lightweight and plasticity- however it’s performance has been near flawless. Perfect for running a small business and keeping track of comings and going.
Set up was fairly easy – but only once you’ve read the manual. Typically I tried without this at first and found it very difficult, after reading the manual it’s actually a simple enough process – so just give in and get to grips with it rather than wasting time like I did.
Configuration was easy via the app, the app is fantastic, easy to navigate and I’ve had zero issues as of yet. Navigation via the decive itself feels a little cumbersome.
Only fault is that it feels like because its so lightweight I fear it might be prone to becoming damaged. However it does the job well and for a reasonable price. Very nearly 5 stars, would recommend
It hadn’t occurred to me that a clocking in machine could be so affordable, easy to set up and use.
We only have a couple of staff in our small business, but this has really helped punctuality and accuracy of time recording. It allows you to instantly solve employee disputes should you have them and I think you will wonder why you didn’t buy one earlier. Suitable for companies with up to 50 people. We haven’t even had negative feedback from our staff, probably because they are too fascinated with it!
Great machine and easy for my staff to use.
Set up process could be simplified as the WIFI was quite fiddly to set up.
The app – a thing I don’t like is that everytime I want to use the app I have to scan the qr code and be on the same network. Making it hard to remotely monitor staff hours
Apart from these to issues we are very happy
We had an old paper based clocking mechanism which has now been replaced by this fantastic digital solution. The quick start guide combined with online tutorials really helped in setting this up. The gadget looks very smart and is lightweight and small. Downloading the app, connecting the device and registering it took only a few minutes. Lots of options to set the pay period, start day, maximum hours and time format. Perfect device where you can set report parameters and generate plenty of reports. You can also download the reports onto the USB and watch it on your Laptop. Great gadget for managing payroll. Power off protection feature is really great too. Reasonably priced.
This arrived with all the screws/fixings needed to put it up, the power supply, memory stick for downloads/uploads and instructions. It’s a nice simple unit that does look smart with its silver surround. The only issue I saw was the surround has marks on each corner that look like cracks but not sure why? The unit is powered by a 5V adapter so you could mount it remotely and use a USB power bank unofficially of course! The back plate fixes to the wall then you route the cable and fit the plate with a screw to secure it to the wall (it’s only plastic so not anything special) the usb socket is on the bottom corner and easy to get too. The instructions are easy to follow and I had it up and running using the quick start guide in no time. You do need to read the guide to understand how to navigate as it’s not made clear initially. The app works well and you can configure the machine either from the display (very laborious!) the app (probably easiest!) or via the usb stick and display combined (not so bad!) this is done with a txt file you upload so hand if you have a list of names or .csv you can paste from then the machine is used to enter the finger print. The handy part is the fact you won’t have any fees to pay ever for using this. It’s not only for small businesses you could use it for club attendance or some such thing not just work related and for the money it’s not really that expensive an optio
What a fantastic bit of kit. Seriously.
This NGTeco W2 clocking in machine is packed with intuitive and in depth features and is supported by a well thought out and real time updating app, making time management even easier.
In the box you get the clocking in machine, power supply, USB (for WIFI setup but not usually required), mounting bracket, mounting fixings, a quick start guide and a very in-depth full instructional manual.
Initial setup is very quick and easy but it will take you a moment or two to get your head around the fairly vague “Quick start” guide but – thankfully – there are a number of useful instructional videos that can be found on supporting app by pressing the ! button on the top right of the app login screen. Once you’ve downloaded the app and have powered on the unit, you can have to set up the Wi-Fi connection on the clocking in machine itself and once connected, scanning the QR code that you’re presented with on completion of Wi-Fi connection will automatically log you into the app and you’re good to go!
You can add new users via the app – which is by far the quickest way if you have a fair number of people to add to the system – or via the clocking in machine, which is a little more time consuming but it does allow you to set the fingerprint scan for each user at the same time, which you have to go back and do separately if you add users initially through the app.
The app is very responsive and refreshes in real time so new user data is available straight away.
Once the users are added, you can use the menus in the app to enter, change and monitor individual users. Wider data can be accessed via the clocking in machine menu and can be exported for bookkeeping, attendance figures etc.
There are far too many features to go into but one of my favourite ones – from a troubleshooting point of view and the existence of human error – is that you can amend or add sign in/out data for individual users through the app. This was one of my concerns for a totally digital clocking in system as human error can occur so being able to amend data is really useful.
Honestly, this is a fantastic product and it has so many practical applications beyond just your usual businesses clocking in/out – one thing I’m considering using it for is for monitoring internet and gaming usage/times in a busy, multi-person household!! – and the functionality of the app in tandem with the brilliant in-built backend of the machine and good, lightweight build quality makes this a budget friendly and very adaptable system.

Really easy to use and works really well. Easy to setup using the instructions provided. The app tracks really well and the accuracy on this is really impressive.
I would definitely recommend
This device can store up to 50 different employees, 100 finger prints and 10000 records, all while there is no monthly fee. It is more than enough for a smaller business, as long as you’re making sure that you keep track of deleting old finger prints and old employees when they no longer work there. If you do that you will have no issues as it is also really easy to set everything up, and with what I mentioned before, delete or add new employees.
Really impressed with this. Did take some fiddling to get it installed, but it works great. It has a futuristic feel to it, especially with the fingerprint scanner. Great way to keep a log of who comes and goes. Smaller than I was expecting, but that’s not a bad thing.
