This really surprised me how effective this is as a fire-it. Easy and small to carry and when putting it together (very easy) acts as a great fire-it.
Bought for a friend as a gift! She was really pleased with it especially as it folds up small and comes in its own bag! I and my other friend both want one of our own!
Loved how small n compact this fire was great for nights away camping when not a lot of room in car perfect for our holiday worth every penny .
Absolutely delighted with this – didn’t think it could be so great when I saw what a small bag it folded into! We took it camping with us and did all our cooking on it; folds up small and light and is super easy to together. Definitely would recommend!
We used this item for both BBQ and log fire during a recent camping trip. We found it to be excellent. sturdy, safe and very easy to use. I highly recommend this product.
Was pleasantly suprised with this fire pit/BBQ have used it a few times both as a BBQ and for a fire I was a little optimistic about it but its perfect for our needs it folds up small can handle a good fire and can cook for 4 on it using 1 small bag of charcoal would recommend
Keeps the cooking area manageable. Cooked with charcoals and 2 pans and fed 2 adults easily. The cold ash simply drops into a bag and the whole thing folds neatly back into the bag. No burnt grass and no mess.
Nice small package, very robust, plenty volume for a good fire and the BBQ grill works brilliantly. Love it.
Our friends had one that they just used for a fire now I know why. Works well as a fire but the rack is very flimsy.
This bbq was purchased instead of another more expensive fold flat model – it was about a third of the price & I wasn’t expecting much but it’s really clever & well put together.
Quality seems good & after a few uses it still looks decent & goes back into its box well.
The grill is a little wobbly to use with a fish slice but works well with tongs, can be fiddly to clean due to the hinges but mostly it scrubs up pretty well.
It’s easy to assemble and you can put lighter cubes below the bottom grill so it lights really easily too
Box needs a squeeze to close but it always fits back in the carry bag.
Overall it’s excellent value for money
Perfect for a small camp fire, easy to assemble and pack down and small enough to store with the rest of our camping kit. Also very portable so could easily be taken on a day out.
Even when packed away (similar size to a pack of A4 paper) it feels nice and solid. Materials are all very good and I can see this lasting for a long time. I’ve used mine 6 times so far and there is no sign of any warping or anything – easy to clean being stainless steel and all the fire dust gets cought on the fold out case that becomes the base for this. My favourite purchase so far!!
Much better thna a one time use, disposable bbq but not much larger in size and so perfect for use when travelling. owkrs pretty well though the design and functions are a bit different to an ordinary bbq.
Given the size and it’s folding capabilities not much is compromised it actual usage and effectiveness so for that reason really worth the price and highly recommended
Great little fire pit will get used on garden and taken with use in campervan had it going for 4 hours and at the end cook a couple of steaks fantastic, the plus all folded back up the way it came and back into its bag . Well pleased.
I was really pleasantly surprised with this little portable BBQ/Firepit.
It comes in a nice zip carry case similar to a laptop carry case.
After a few minutes of reading the instructions and a little trial and error I managed to put it together quite easily and more importantly quickly.
Once you have done it a couple of times you can have this setup in just a couple of minutes.
As you can see from the picture you can stand the BBQ/Firepit in the metal case it comes in, this can act as an extra ash collector even though there is a small plate on the bottom to collect the ash anyway.
The grill even though doesn’t look much is pretty sturdy and of a decent size for around four people to BBQ for.
The sloping sides ensure the the heat is dispensed evenly and makes cooking on it relatively easy.
If your someone who goes camping alot then I would say this is an absolute brilliant item to have.
For someone who wants it for the garden then if your on a budget then this is a great alternative to the more expensive grill’s plus with the added bonus of a firepit you could use after you have finished cooking and are just enjoying the evening with a glass of something cold and winding down listening to the crackling of an open fire.
Overall we are really pleased with this and it has now found a home at our caravan ready for our next visit.
Highly recommended
Used these for a project and they did the job!
ZHZIRO BBQ Fire Pit
The portable fire pit is lightweight, although a little clanky during setup. It’s effortless to assemble, and the design is considerate of the basic needs of outdoor grilling. Although the size overall is smallish, this stainless griller will do the job of cooking up your basic camping treats.
It eliminates a fire hazard and keeps sparks within the baffle. The grilling rack could be raised or set lower, although there are no mittens or other essential grilling accessories included to prevent the user from scorching themselves, so you may want to bring your own or be innovative with your camping skills.
The quality of the stainless steel is decent. It has a stable base and will not tip over too easily. The edges are rounded to the touch, and there wasn’t any part of this set that could quickly get bent—quite a worry-free dismantling and packing up experience afterward.
I bought this and have no complaints about it and would likely buy it again. But a one thought on this grill –
The grill seems a bit lightweight. So I opted to test it out by starting a small fire and throwing two pieces of wood I got from a bundle at the gas station – that should give you an idea of their size. They barely fit in the grill when put in diagonally. I did not put the grill attachment on it, but I don’t think it would have fit had I tried.
That said, the grill held up under the weight of the two pieces of wood and did not bend or warp under the stress.
Not used while camping,
But used it the garden thout it was was quick and easy to assemble.
Very pleased with the fire would recommend i
Easy too put up and use fits in a small bag good for storage
