These bands have been great on my early morning runs. They fit really well and don’t fall down at all. They are good for cycling as well. The lights are nice and bright and easily seen from far away. They last a good long time. I like that they are rechargeable and easily recharged.
Overall for the price these are great for running outdoors and would make a nice gift for someone you know that runs and would like to make sure they are seen while out on the roads.

These are great for running outdoors as the night and morning are drawing in. Make sure that I am safe whilst running on the main road/pavements. They are adjustable so can be worn around the arms, legs and have various flashing options. They ensure I am seen whilst running.

These are useful running lights and I like them for my bicycle too.
I really like the colours and they are easy to place and adjustable.
They work well, the lights are more suitable for nighttime, the quality looks nice to me and they are easy to charge by USB cable.
They are very easy to use by just pressing the button you can change to different modes, they are good and I recommend them.

We actually brought these for hubby for when hes dog walking in the dark on the country lanes, They are perfect and have increased his visability meaning hes safer when walking the dog for both him and the dog. Once you hit a certain point there isnt any street lights so need to light yourself up like some sort of christmas tree to avoid being hit by a car, These are perfect for this and a really bright.

These work a treat for my early morning country walks as I have to walk along country lanes in the dark sometimes (unavoidable due to location) so these light up band make me more visible to drivers. Nice and comfortable to wear and easy to use. Reasonably priced.

These are useful for me to walk my dogs at night so we can be seen especially now that the nights are getting longer.

They are lightweight and easy to use.

In the box are two bands, two Velcro straps (with reflective detailing) and a micro USB charging cable.

I opted for the blue bands which have two strips of blue fabric encased in the plastic coated bands. Running down the middle of each band is a strip of lights. There are four lights visible on each band, and the colour of each light differs.

Also on the band is the power pack and operation button. The bands can be recharged using a micro USB cable, meaning no fussing with batteries. There is a simple on off switch on the top of the power pack.

At the end of each band are plastic clips which connect to the Velcro strap. The design means there is a limit as to how small you can make the band. The band section itself is around 22cm and with the Velcro on the tightest setting this makes it 30cm in total. They are therefore more suited to upper arms than wrists or ankles, where they would be too loose. They could also be looped onto bags, bikes etc.

The bands have three modes of operation, fast flashing, slow flashing and continuously on. On first usage I charged the bands fully and allowed them to run on continuous mode. After 8 hours they were still going, albeit not as bright. Therefore, these will happily cover any commute or night time exercise without worrying these will run out of charge on you.

I have yet to use these in the rain to test how resilient they are to water. I am a bit concerned that power pack is a little exposed and does not look fully sealed, so may avoid use in heavy rain.

They are great at increasing visibility at night and are perfect for running, cycling, walking etc at night. The fact there is two in the box means you can either have one on each arm or have one always fully charged and ready to go.

I hope you found this review helpful.

Improves visibility, great run time and rechargeable

These are amazing what a great idea I’ve seen similar on dogs so owners can see them when walking them in the dark but this is the first time I have seen lights for runners , makes sense , wear one on each arm in case you cross roads that way you are seen from both directions.
I wore them for the first time this morning delivered my car early to a garage for repair and went for a run home , these armbands can be seen from distance , I met a running friend on my run this morning running through a forest and when we stopped for a blether he told me he seen the lights flashing from a hundred metres away , wondered what it was , then seen it was me , he,s gonna get them too.

I live on the edge of town , in winter when the clocks change people zoom around the country roads where I run and I’m never sure they’ve seen me , problem solved with these , they will be a permanent part of my running kit from now on.

Just had another thought , i cycle too , nice road bike ,yes I have good lights front and back but I’m going to wear these armbands too because they will be a different height , higher than my lights , they will be especially good when I put my arm out to indicate a right turn which is always risky for cyclists.
    Another safety feature added.
    Perfect.

    As described and as advertised.

Great idea for runners or dog walkers where being outside in dawn and dusk can be a little worrisome hoping cars can see you etc. We’ve tried led collars and leads but this is the first time the LED lights are on us.

We like the rechargeable integrated battery – we much prefer this over replaceable.

Easy to use and to adjust. These are big enough to go over most of our coats for dawn/dusk colder dog walkers but if you have very slim arms you might struggle but we’ve had no issues.

Good light with three modes – enough to alert others to your presence but these aren’t designed to guide your way in the dark.

These are lightweight and don’t cause any strain or annoyance at all.

Decent battery life of 5 hours with a 1-2 hour charge. There is a tradeoff between battery life and size and we think this is a good compromise.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am a keen road and trail runner, and always welcome the opportunity to review running gear. So when these ZLCBBD Running Lights came up for review, I thought I would see what they are like. I have reviewed similar armband lights before by other manufacturers for Amazon, and most haven’t been that great for various reasons. Most have been very cheap, and sometimes that is a case of “you get what you pay for”, and this is also the case with these ZLCBBD lights.

Considering the price, they are pretty good. For a start, they come in minimal packaging which I like. Taking them out of the box, there are no instructions, but they are fairly obvious to work out how to use them. For a start, the rechargeable battery on both bands seemed to be fully charged although there was no full way of knowing as there is no indicator which would be a nice feature, but probably would bump up the price. The controls are simple enough, there is one switch/button, that is used to turn on, and to change from static, to slow flash to fast flash (see video). To charge the internal battery, there is a USB to Micro USB cable. It would be good to have had USB-C but again, that would probably push up the price. I Due to the time of year reviewing this product (late summer) I haven’t been on a night run, but I did do a 5K park run this weekend with one armband on to see how well they light up in day, and also to test how comfortable they are to wear. Comfort wise, they were fine, no digging, chaffing or pinching of the skin which I have had with other brands before. However, the “be seen” day time lights are not that effective, I asked a few other runners what they thought, and they said the lights just didn’t catch their eyes enough. However, in the dark at home, the lights are quite strong and colourful, so should be easier to spot by other road users when on autumn and winter runs. I did fully charge one armband overnight and in the morning I let it flash until drained. It took just short of 5hrs on slow flash to drain, which should be more than enough for most runners between charges.

Overall, good enough for running in winter, especially considering the price of 12.89 for the pair at the time of this review in September 2022.

Good for low light and night runs, not great for day ligh

I thought these would be a great idea for running in the evenings. They’re rechargeable with a usb and have an elasticated velcro strap. There are 3 light settings: fast flash, slow flash, still. There’s a reflector on the recto steam and the band itself is mdr with a fluorescent coloured fabric.

I found that because the sand was laminated in plastic and the back side of the control was made of hard plastic the bands aren’t the most comfortable to wear, especially as they move around on the skin. Although the Velcro strap is adjustable and made of elastic I found that even on the tightest setting they were too big for my arms. These would be good for people with larger arms but on me (even up to the armpit), they just fell down. I’ll look to attach them to my running bag instead.

Overall, I like the concept, I like the lights, but a more padded band with more variety to width would be better.

    A bit too big

These little lightweight lights are fantastic!

They have 3 different modes selected by pressing the small button – fast flash, slow flash and static on.

They have a velcro adjustable fitting so will fit on most sleeves nicely.

Perfect for road running or walking as we enter dark winter nights – or, night clubbing!?

Rechargeable via usb so no messing around with batteries either.

    Really bright!

These were very bright lights for running or general use. I used these at a 4 day camp weekend and my group was able to spot me easy enough in the midst of 2000 people.

Yes these are made for late night running etc… However I’m not a runner but I do a lot of hiking and in the winter when it gets dark early… I’m often extra careful in country roads and lanes for traffic as they might not see me… These lights are fantastic fastened to my rucksack…. I’m not sure about the velcro…. So I’ll use a carabiner just to make sure they stay on in all weather conditions…
They seem durable and well made.. I’m hoping they can survive heavy rain and snow…. And as a extra bonus if you ever are in the hills and get lost at least mountain rescue will have a better chance of seeing you with these lights flashing away..

    Fantastic lights for winter hiking

All of a sudden here in the UK, the nights are getting darker and it’s taking longer to brighten up in the morning. As someone who runs before or after work, I wanted to pick up some of these armbands as an extra precaution to the various reflective pieces I have on my clothing.

These armbands are really simple. You get the main piece with the light on it and then you have a Velcro strap that you thread through the buckles and press down to your preferred sizing. The materials are all comfortable against the skin and on the Velcro piece the reverse is a sort of grippy patterned texture that means it won’t easily slip against skin or clothes – it’s also stretchy, so maintains pressure and stays in place.

A big attraction of this device for me is that it is USB rechargeable. This is great as there’s no need to go hunting for specialist batteries – it also means it is very lightweight. The lights themselves are very bright and a nice blue and red colour, which makes it obvious that someone is running (as opposed to just a reflection of some kind). You can choose between an always on light or various speeds of flashes. Turning it on and switching between modes is as simple as tapping the on/off button.

Overall, this is a really comfortable armband that offers an excellent light source if you’re out running in the dark. I’m very happy with it.

Great for running in the dark

These running lights come it two parts that you clip together (not sure why?). The strap is elastic so is comfy, but if you’ve got thin arms you may struggle to get them tight enough. They are well made and the switch feels positive – there are 3 modes (two flashing, one solid). They are recharged by micro-USB (why not USB-C?).

Generally happy with these, quality wise very happy, but a couple of niggles.

They are comfortable to wear and emit enough light to be clearly seen. It has multiple functions but in all honesty the flashing is the most useful . I’ve also find that I can use them late at night for the dogs as well 🙂

I have just started to take up running at night but have been worried I might not be viable to other road users so I got these and it’s been a godsend. I’m am now visable to others now and I feel safer.

These are useful. Good size for wrist or arm or ankle or rucksack. Nice and bright. Flashing or still. Rechargeable. Not the easiest to click together and take apart but feels secure once clipped together. See and be seen!

I got these for my friend who is a keen runner and also walks her dogs daily after work. She has mentioned a few times that she can feel quite unsafe along the country lanes as there’s no street lighting and cars sometimes got too fast.

These arm bands are bright and have flashing lights to make you more visible. They come with a charging lead that fit universal USB plugs and ports. The straps are adjustable and fasten with Velco. This will be ideal as the layers go on as temperatures drop.

She says that she feels much safer with these on and is going to get a pair for her boyfriend for when they run together. She would definitely recommend.
