The sound is great, the battery life lasts me all day or couple of days as I use it for popping out. Touch screen works perfectly fine. Worth the value

No mobile phone gives the music experience as a dedicated music device gives. Having a device only for the music itself is music to ears. This gives more battery life, easy to carry experience. We even give this to the kid as he loves music without the worry of him exploring anything else with it.

    Music quality good
Easy transfer of music from computer
Touchscreen works well, its as good a quality as your phone
Fits in the palm of your hand, can’t believe how small, and thin it is!!
Weighs about the same as an average phone
Buttons on side for volume f you prefer those to using the touch screen
Easily slip into a pocket, handbag, purse, with your phone etc
    So dinky & cute!
Come boxed/packaged really nicely making a perfect gif

    As described and as advertised.

    Well packaged and well presented.

This would make a nice gift for anyone needing a good value media player for travelling or gym etc.

    Lightweight and portable

Decent battery life with integrated rechargeable battery.

Good range of media options including music (with multiple formats e.g. MP3, WMA, FLAC, APE) video MP4 as well as FM radio.

Music/Audiobook and radio are useful for dog walking!

Bluetooth headphones connected quickly and easily with no noticeable lags or drops.

We like the intuitive interface and touchscreen – no usability issues.

Great to be able to sort files in folders for easiest playback selection.

Supports TF microSD card expansion for collections larger than 32GB of internal space.

Good value cheaper player – is it the best player we’ve ever used? No, it’s not but good enough for travelling or gym where you might not want to risk more expensive devices etc.

It look great, the sound is very good either with the supplied headphones of my wireless ones. Its going to be a bit of a faff to move stuff from Itunes but the extra capacity as opposed to the brick size Ipod touch as a replacement for the Nano is just the thing .. It looks jolly good as well , black finish , battery life is good as well , but thats in comparison to my ipod nano after 9 years ..

I had a few teething troubles with this at first, as a lot of my music on my laptop was in iTunes, which this little gadget doesn’t support….and l gave up on it for a while, but l went back and perceived and l’m glad l did although l still can’t get the radio to work!

So l didn’t have much music on Windows media player as all my music is on Amazon, and Spotify on my Samsung mobile.
I managed to click and drag the few songs l did have and got the bluetooth to match up to my ear buds and now it’s super cute and l love it! I also managed to get the clock to work, and set it up to play music for my morning alarm.

I am now transferring other music onto my laptop to download onto this tiny MP4 player.
It’s a bit of a palarva but l reckon it will be worth it in the end and it’s another musical outlet without having to use my mobile phone….

I haven’t used the other features, and as l mentioned the radio is just a hissy mess, but having my music on another device so small is great…..and l will have a go at checking out other things, but it’s like the old days with my ipod mini.
I love it, even though it took me a while!

    Very Cute!

This is a compact and easy to navigate MP3 player with touchscreen screen for simple and modern use. The device is plug and play so responds quickly to a pc or laptop. Once music is downloaded it’s ideal for the gym, ensuring I’m not distracted by my phones functions. Sound quality is really nice and it works with my Bluetooth earbuds. Well made and really good value.

Holds music and movies and is a great backup device for the kids especially if you want them to be phone free but not device free. I do not like the kids having their phones when they are out of the house so this is a great alternative.

Good for long journeys and the battery lasts for ages. Good sound quality when paired with good headphones.

I got this to use as a recorder so I haven’t tried many of the functions but it records exectly what I need it to.
The screen is touchscreen and there are lots of functions such as audio book reading and picture or music storage.
You can expand the storage from 32gb to 138gb.
It feels good quality and I can see the uses for it but it’s kind of retro technology.

Wow how far has tech come to give you a portable mp3 player for such a great price. Slick design reminds me of a fruity mp3 player from 8 or so yes so that would have cost a fortune. Touch screen, file storage, video player, Fm radio, Alarms and so much more. This is a great value gift or personal addition.

    Fab mp3/4 and Fm radio

I really like this little MP3 player

It is smart and compact looking with a nicely designed touch screen
It has a 32Gb in built memory which is plenty for music or audio books and I added a 128Gb card so that I could put a couple of films on it too.
Obviously, the screen is small for films but its great when having to wait a long time in a queue somewhere or on the bus!

Sound output is good, much better than I thought it would be, with a nice base sound which compliments the type of music I listen to.

The reason I wanted one of these little MP3 players, is because i listen to a lot of music and audio books and that is a drain on my phone battery, whereas this player, has a great battery life and I can listen for a couple of days before it needs charging up. I listen on my Airbuds via bluetooth
The player can also be used to record voice and then replayed
It also has FM radio and picture playback

Would also make a great gift

This is certainly a handy little gadget to have. I didn’t realise how much I’ve been missing my old iPod Nano. True, these days your iPhone can store more music than you’ll ever need, but it’s nice to have the option of using a device that’s much smaller and lighter. This fits the bill perfectly – and it might also be a welcome gift for younger family members not old enough for their own iPhone yet. The App seems quite efficient, and easy enough to navigate. The device charges efficiently and retains its power for a reasonable length of time. Also includes a radio function – and even e-book reading. Meets all my needs very satisfactorily. Recommended. Five stars.

For 36.99 this is a good value alternative to me having to use my mobile phone when running.

I have a 6″ phone and with the case it’s in as well, it can be reasonably heavy, particularly when I’m running. It’s too heavy to place in my pocket as the weight of it makes it uncomfortable to run and it also weighs down my leggings and distorts them. So it means I have to run holding it, which is a pain.

So the idea of using an old school MP3 player appealed to me. My only reservation was the fact that I use Bluetooth earphones with my phone so I don’t have the earphone cable moving around as I run. When I had MP3 players years ago, there was no wireless earphone option and I thought that would be the case with this too. However, I was pleased to see that this has Bluetooth, so I have still been able to carry on using my wireless earphones!

It’s very small and light, so I have even managed to put it in my leggings pocket and I can barely feel this is even there. The Bluetooth connection was easy to set up initially and connecting is flawless every time I use this.

Charge time with it is decent and the battery lasts me a few jogs. The memory is 32 GB but can easily be expanded with a separate memory card.

The sound is quite good. Nothing special, but then I wouldn’t expect it to be at this price, especially with everything else this little player offers me.

I find it easy enough to upload music onto and the menu is quite easy to navigate. The screen is just the right size for my personal taste too.

I am really happy I got this and it has really transformed my running.

This is a 32GB MP3 Player with Bluetooth 5.0,2.4-inch TFT Full Touchscreen MP3 & MP4 Player with FM Radio, Recorder, and Built-in Speaker for travel and workout, It also supports up to a 128GB TF Card.
That said I did think that MP3 players were pretty much yesterday’s child, as everyone has a phone nowadays!
Well made with a good sound reproduction (Though I am no expert by long chalk!)
Is it too expensive at almost 37?..your decision folks!

got this mp3 player for my mum and stepdad, whom despite their age still listen to a variety of music.

ok the memory isn’t that large, but it is upgradable. but, it isn’t only limited to playing audio files. it has an FM receiver built in which means that the radio is available as well. it comes with bluetooth, so it is able to connect to headphones or speakers. making this a really versitile unit.

for the money, this isn’t really all that bad.

I run a small performance business & needed some small, light, reliable mp3 players that I could give to my colleagues to use with some portable bluetooth Anker Soundcore speakers (also purchased on Amazon!). I had previously purchased some slightly cheaper ones from another seller on Amazon but had ben let down pretty much immediately when they would freeze constantly. These have proved far more popular with the team. Don’t expect the internal speaker to be amazing (it’s tiny!), but if you hook it up to an external speaker or headphones, it really does the business (see the attached video. It gets loud!). Plus, you get a free copy of ‘All Rise’ as a sample track on the player. What more could you ask for 😉

There is still a need for an ultra-portable media player today.

    — If you have a work phone – you often can’t fill it with your favourite music and video downloads
    — It may still be way to big to bring to the gym
    — you might want your younger children to enjoy music – but not have a phone and so the risks of social media use
    — you might want an MP3 music player for the car

In the past, the !-pod was the undisputed king of this role; but since it has been withdrawn from sale, there has been a gap left that has been filled by a series of often “no-name” media players.

So I was pleased to be asked to test this one – but until today had never head of a brand called “SWOFY”.

The device came ready charged – and worked first time it came out of the box. It has some test media songs and clips you can use to make sure that it works on opening.

CONNECTIVITY: I plugged it into a MacBook using a USB-A to micro-USB cable that comes with the device. The Mac recognised it in about 3 seconds – as an “M4” device. A double click on that and I had a list of folders to see (look at my screen shot). I dragged a large MP3 audiobook over into the folder, and it was transferred quickly. The same went for a couple of songs and an MP4 clip.

Opening the folders on the device showed the new files – and they worked first time there were called up – by a tap on the touchscreen.

It showed up using bluetooth in Bose powered speaker at about 5 metres distance – and connected too.

SOUND: with headphones, the sound was good – just as good as my Motorola phone or -my laptop. There is a small speaker on the back of the device – but when it lies flat, that speaker is covered up and the sound gets very muffled. To be used with the speaker, the device needs to be propped up or turned over, but it isn’t a great volume.

It worked without stopping or “crackling” as I jogged – so the connections inside this seem pretty robust.

CONSTRUCTION: The device looks smart enough – with a polished surface and a bright LCD screen that was easy to read indoor, but needed a hand to shade in direct sunlight. I subjected it to a 5kg “crush test” for a day to simulate life at the bottom of my rucksack. It still worked finer. However, my criticism is that the opening for the speaker would be the first place pocket fluff would collect. So if this is to travel on your clothes, it needs a simple protector bag to cover it.

PRESENTATION: This comes packaged in a stylish box – so could make someone a good present this Christmas. Delivery by Amazon was quick to a UK address.

    Overall the rating was
    [1] sound = 5
[2] construction = 4 (dust and fluff in pockets getting into rear of device over time)
[3] utility = 5 – it did all that I asked of it.

So if you want a simple “generic” music and video clip player – that does all the classic jobs as well as linking by bluetooth to cars – then this looks to be a good bet.

Could this be a reincarnation of the I-Pod? New MP3 Player tested.

Of course we all have our smartphones now but I do miss a nice finely-crafted playlist from my CDs, plus it’s nice to have a little backup to save your phone battery. This is a tiny little music/video device that nontheless has Bluetooth, file storage, photo storage, an FM radio, an e-reader, a recording function and plays nearly all sound formats. There is included a 32gb TF card- about 8000 songs – but if you stick a 128gb card thats more than 30000 tunes, depending on the format. The 48 hour battery life is great considering how tiny it is. It is only 30 odd quid, so there are obviously a few little cavils – the speaker is tinny, the radio is patchy, the included headphones can go straight in the bin, and the video quality is just adequate, plus noone wants to read a book on a 2 inch screen, but the finish of the product is amazingly sleek at this price point, and I’m certainly not complaining. If you want to relive the iPod days at pocket money prices, you should go for it. It’s also an oddly cool little thing – I get a lot of questions about it when I’m using it at work.

Fully charged from the box which was nice.
If like me you keep charging cables plugged in around the house, note that this uses a ‘c’ cable not ordinary usb, so unless you have other devices using that connection you’ll have to keep the included cable close by and swap them about.
Easy to copy n paste music files from laptop to device which is useful as I’m looking to digitise my old cd collection and use this to store them and then I’ll probably actually listen to them again via headphones or Bluetooth speaker.
It does have a ‘loudspeaker’ but loud is not the word to use to describe it.

This little device is awesome. I hate lugging my phone around on a run so so thing small like this is ideal. It has a full colour touch screen display. Easy to drag and drop MP3 and video files onto just connect the usb c port. It has 32gb built in bit you can expand it with a micro SD card. It comes with headphone which are bit rubbish so use your own but it can be paired with Bluetooth ones as well. Battery lasts ages and sounds great. Has some other features like calculator and radio function and you can play video files but they look very small on the screen. It has a built in speaker but it’s lot very loud and tinny. Apart from that it’s amazing value and if you are after something simple and compact then this will do you great.

Compact. Great sounding. Easy to use.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBought this for my wife as she has a ridiculously old school music collection that she likes to listen to on her runs and she doesn’t like the weight of her phone. It’s compact, very light, decent battery life, intuitive to use, and unlike a lot of the competition, lets you organise music by folder (I’m told this is very important for my wife). Happy wife, happy life!
