Only just purchased but I was pleased with swift delivery, packaging and looks well made. Small enough to sit behind my sofa so out of sight but easily accessible. It he on and off button is lit when in use so easy to spot in the dark. I like the fact that I can add usb for my phone charger and for whoever is visiting without having to unplug appliances. I would recommend.
I love the design. The USB charging and most importantly the on/off function. Perfec
This is a very good quality extension lead with USB charging ports as well. Good quality 3 meter power cord, 4x plugging points, and power switch, great value for the money in my opinion.
Love the compactness of this. Bit slow on charging but plug in through the night.
Great extension lead, usb slots won’t charge a tablet/iPad or phone at full speed but does charge them slowly. Perfect length and the switch is a great addition.
Perfect for my work desk. Love the design and the USB ports for charging.
Honestly I’ve got 2 of these and it’s perfect it really is. the power cut out switch saves you turning it off at the socket, which mine is a pain – out of reach. Looks good don’t take up hardly and top space either. I’d recommend this.
It was noted that my previous plugs were a trip hazard and it was suggested I bought a longer lead. Thus was pointed out to me as I had three USB cables a plugged in using adaptors, the best thing about this is the ability to turn it off so there”s no electricity usage at all when I’m not using it to charge devices or turn on my lamp.
Although very good I have since seen them on the high street cheape
Great little charger. Takes up minimal space , I have my Alexa plugged in and lamp and then 3 USB ports on top so you can’t go wrong
Love this extension cord. Small compact and so many slots plus USBs. Price is quite steep but performance is 5 stars.
This extension lead is good. It is easy to use and works well. Good quality and design.
This works well, exactly as it should, and it’s perfect for taking away on trips in the UK – hotels never have enough power points.
Everything fine just wanted a extension a little more compact than the normal long 4 gang
I was concerened when i started using this as it heats up to a very high level and when I disconnected to see if i can nnotice what the issue was i noticed the the whole unit rattled.
I tried it since then and it works fine with all the ports but i turn it off after i charge my devices after a few hours to be safe. on the plus side it can support charging a huge amount of devices at the same time which is impressive for a small unit.
Works as expected, ideal for what I needed it for, very compac
Great value for money. The added bonus of USB ports mean that I can utilise it even more. Well built and would defo recommend
I bought this because the cable on the printer I’d just bought was extremely short. This is very neat and I can add everything onto it that I need, and still have a spare. The added USB ports were definitely a bonus!!
I wish each socket had its own individual on/off switch. Especially with rising energy prices. I like that its discreet and doesn’t take up much space, that being said how hot the unit gets when three or more devices are plugged slightly concerns me.
The extension cube arrived safely, and it comes packed inside a thick clear pouch. It features four mains sockets, three USB ports and a 3m power cable with a moulded UK plug attached. In terms of size, its about as compact as an extension cube with this many sockets can be, perfect for use in smaller spaces or for travelling with!
I’m pleased with the overall quality of the strip and what you get for your money; the plastics are ok, it seems well put together, it’s got plenty of safety features and the cable quality is good. The cube itself is very lightweight and there are four grippy small feet on the underside but due to its size you still need to hold it when you plug things in.
The USB ports share a total power output of 5V/2.4A so while it’s not the best for modern high-powered devices, its ideal for charging things like smart watches, USB lights and other lower power devices. The maximum total output the cube can provide is 2500W, 10A.
The cube has a large clunky power button on top (that controls all sockets) which lights up blue when turned on along with a smaller LED light next to the USB ports.
Overall, I think this is a fairly decent, smart looking power cube with plenty of features and a decent length of cable, so I feel it definitely represents good value for money. It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel four stars is appropriate for it, buy with confidence!
I’ve been using this extension lead for the past couple of weeks. I got new TV recently along with a new stand that has a central column support and my old bar-style extension lead looked a bit conspicuous, trailing on the carpet beside the stand. However, this cube-style doofer is just the ticket as it sits neatly behind the stand and is all but invisible, thereby preserving the sleek, minimalist look of the new setup.
Granted, the lead won’t support several high power-consuming appliances like electric fans, bar heaters or toasters all being used at once but not many internal extension leads will and for general use the 3250 watt limit with this is just fine. Used for my particular purposes to power a TV, DVD player and set-top box, it’s well up to the job. The added USB sockets are handy too but you have to bear in mind that they don’t support fast-charging or variable power delivery (PD.) If you do overload the extension cube, there’s an over-current protection device that should prevent the thing from melting.
I particularly like the single on/off button. I have been in the process of changing out any extension bars which have a permanent light on all the time and this one just has a single one which illuminates only when the ‘on’ button is pressed. With one push, I can turn off all of my AV equipment at night – particularly handy since the wall outlet is inaccessible behind a sideboard!
The cube is well made and seems as sturdy as anything designed for internal use. The button has a nice, positive ‘click’ to it and the receptacles seem robust as well. The silicone feet keep the unit well planted on my wood floor and would be just as good on a desk. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this. It seems to be good value for money and solves two of the problems I had with my old bar-style extension lead
Solid little extension, long wire at 3m, great for desk top and from the back of the sofa.
Good built and nice finish throughout, quite stable base.
4 outlet + 3 USB A should be sufficient for desk top appliances and phones/tablets.
The one switch does it all, even the USB. ( may be a light indicator would be good )
Would be great if USB C is included, or perhaps individual switch.
Good price at just over 15 with voucher.
I needed an extension lead for under the stairs, preferably one with a circuit breaker. I love this design being a cube rather than the normal long ones.
I dont ever make use of all the sockets but I always believe extension cables come in handy as many devices only have short leads of their own; just becareful they are never overloaded.
I’m in the process of upgrading all my old power strips. This one attracted me because of the 3 metre cable, tidy cube design and the power switch and USB ports on top.
Overall build quality appears very good. Specs are on the bottom together with anti-slip feet. On each of the four sides are standard UK 3 pin sockets all pointing in the same direction. There are three USB-A ports on top but these days I’d expect at least one USB-C PD port. The switch again is useful (particularly as it has a light built-in, so you can see when it’s on) but I would have preferred individual switches for each socket.
Having said that, it works well and there’s nothing not to like about this extension cube. The cable is a very good length and the cube doesn’t take up as much space as a power strip does. Four is a good number of sockets and having the extra USB ports and master on/off switch is convenient. I am happy to have this cube.
I was looking for an extension cable with plenty of lengths and enough ports to power my studio kit. This is fantastic as the price is affordable. Not only do you get the four standard outlets but you also get three USB inputs too. Granted the USB ports don’t provide fast charging capabilities but they do allow you to charge mobile devices without a power brick.
I have three studio lights plugged up and another two portable handheld lights which run on the USB ports. This is a fantastic option as I’m able to have them all go to this central brick and when I’m done I don’t have to unplug or turn each light off as you can simply press the off button on the top of the plug. It has a convenient little light telling you when it’s on and off. This works great as a normal extension cable but looks rather premium and very handy sat on a surface like a desk, thanks to the non-slip base padding.
All in all a very inexpensive extension brick with plenty of ports and outlets to power a whole setup. The cable length is really good and the build quality of both the brick and cable is robust and likely the last you a while if you treat it right. Highly recommend.
Hope this review helps.
A lot of people think that you can plug anything into extension leads but this is not the case.
If you believe the advertising, this extension lead is rated at 2500w, but if you believe the back of the extension, it’s rated at 3250w. Be careful when plugging in high energy devices, for instance a typical fan heater on max is around 2000W, so you’re already over half the extension lead limit with just that one device.
With a kettle using 2000W and a toaster using 1500W, both of them can potentially start a fire when used together at the same time from an Extension lead.
This extension lead seems solid enough and of good quality. It also has pads on the bottom to prevent scratches and slippage.
The lead has four plug sockets, and incorporates three USB sockets. It is a shame that a USB C socket is not included.
The length is great at 3m and I also appreciate the power switch, but would have liked one on each socket.
The extension lead seems to be a very good one, and I am happy with it. I love the compact cube design and it looks great.
Unusual cube shape design that lets you charge gadgets via the USB socket and conventional electricals via the 4-sided AC outlets. This is ideal if you have limited space as it works without having a large ‘motherboard’ strip – with the cube achieving the same result but with a lot less space. The 3m cable is also very long and therefore gives you substantial freedom of movement. A really decent product.
This is a very compact and sturdy 4 way extension cable with 3 USB ports. Even with five device being charged simultaneously, the cube itself doesn’t heat up at all and the plugs plugged into it warm up no more than they’re expected to. Given its compactness, if you connect anything in with an oversized plug, you will most likely lose access to one of the other sockets (see my photo). The lead is just shy of 3 metres in length and is reassuringly thick. There’s an On/Off button on the top of the cube which displays a faint blue LED when turned on. It’s worth noting that it does not have USB-C inputs for fast charging which you tend to expect now.
It a durable extension socket and the lead is sturdy and flexible too. Nice length and the plug in option is x 4 with USB charger holes too. Nice and help arrange the socket area. Worth having
Great cube extension lead – good design and way better then the long square ones in my opinions I like the fact this comes with USB cables too which is handy and convienant.m to have. This is also good in size and perfect for travelling. Safe to use and doesn’t overheat which is great. Overall, would recommend.
his essentially serves the same purpose as a regular rectangular extension plug but is so much better – it has 3 plug sockets, but also a bunch of USB ports and a very good size cable. i like the on/off switch on the socket itself as it saves you needing to do it at the mains.
the build quality is superb too. the only reason for knocking a star off is i WISH this has a couple of USBC charging points instead of all USB then it would be perfec
