It’s a good camera for beginners. For the price, this is a great camera to get started with. Loved all the accessories that come with it, remote, two batteries and microphone! This is good for older kids to start learning to blog or what be.
This camera is a nice starter camera for beginning photographers and cinematopgrahers. The camera works extremely well both for videos and still shots.The remote is nice for well, remote operation of the camera, zooming in, recording, etc.
We took this affordable camcorder to Amsterdam recently for a family holiday. It gave us a great opportunity to fully test the camcorder’s capabilities. Our verdict was that it is great for both videos and photos. The day and night footage are stunning. No SD card is provided which is a negative and I would recommend that you buy the biggest storage capacity in order to not have to worry about lack of storage space. The sound quality is great with the external microphone and the spare battery allows you to have much longer filming potential. Overall, we managed to take some lovely photos and compiled a nice family holiday video using this camcorder.
What a fabulous video camera, well it is a camera kit really, everything we need to take videos, or photos, indoors, or outdoors. Now I must admit I haven’t used all the accessories yet, as you can see from my photos; I have just set it up; you do need a memory card, as this isn’t included; and tried it out several times, both with, and without the microphone.
I was really pleased to find that we get two battery packs, which I charged before using; standard size camera batteries, so I could use my charger that came with one of my stills cameras. Once fully charged, and the card inserted, I took it out into the garden, the beautiful autumn leaves producing a great video; then back indoors, now with the mic. I’m videoing my partner and the grandchildren. I have also been out at dusk videoing the lovely red skies, and bright moonlight.
Using the transfer cable I was able to transfer, and show my efforts on my PC, and TV screens; a remote control is provided to rewind, skip, forward, the images, this works fine. The quality of the images is wonderful, with bright colours, and the microphone picks up all the audio clearly.
I have actually bought this video for an upcoming special family event, so wanted to make sure I could get the clear images, and videos I wanted. Even though I held the camera, opposed to having it on a tripod; my videos looked very professional, without any visible shaking.
The battery life is good, a fully charged battery, lasting well over 1 hour of filming; so with both batteries I will hopefully ensure, I don’t miss a thing!
I found the camera very easy to handle, even when the accessories were attached; the images sharp, crisp, full colour; and using the added microphone seemed to cut out a lot of background noise.
It is the standard camcorder model with the flip out screen, and easy to use buttons on the side of the camera itself. For a reasonably priced, I suppose low-mid price range, video camera I am very pleased with the results. Fits snugly into a Velcro fastening storage bag between uses, camera cap to keep the lens safe. With this video camera, I can get, without any professional knowledge, decent, stable, crisp videos, and photos to treasure; so very pleased with my purchase, great value.
