Purchased this usb stick for permanent use on a Yamaha Genos 2 keyboard, so far it has been perfect, to load expansion packs styles etc.
Even works perfect on the pc
Highly recommend
Does exactly what it says on the tin. I use it to hold all my downloaded music, and it does so without any problems. The sliding function is smooth and satisfying.
Good for storage but won’t play on my smart TV as all my smaller capacity and cheaper usb keys all do? Not recommended for that but as a storage bank yes.
My windows 10 laptop is incapable of loading the windows 11 free update according to Microsoft ,so, as I only have my embroidery patterns on it and I don’t want to buy a new one, I thought I’d make sure I have a copy of everything. Apparently ,according to you tube, Ive been doing windows 7 backups which we won’t be able to do anymore. (And didn’t work anyway, according to my old stick) So after asking someone, Ive bought this to copy everything onto. Well, I can try! and it was a very good price. If it works I’ll have enough space to last longer than I’ll live
I bought this simply for the amount of storage it has for the price. It does exactly what I need it to do but it feels really cheap, very lightweight, I’ll have to be really careful with this I reckon because the slide to open and close feels like it could break or jam quite easily. I like the hoop on it which I can attach to my keyring, it’s all black almost a dark dark grey in my eyes. If you want it for storage then go for it but if you want something that’s more sturdy then I’d rethink this one.
This is a decent 128GB USB drive. I paid 12.24 it came pre-formatted as FAT32, this shows in Windows as 116GB. I formatted to exFAT.
It feels a little light and delicate in the hand, so not sure how long the casing will last. The back has a thin piece for you to attach it to your key chain.
I plugged it into a blue USB and a red USB port (last screenshot). Both are SS (SuperSpeed) ports. Either port gave almost the same results with the speed test. Read: 138 MB/s and Write: 35 MB/s
A 500MB file took about 18 seconds to copy. I checked 3 times and a 1.2GB file took about 45 seconds, so real world writing at 27 MB/s
Nice little item for data storage. I have found it to work well to store PDF files without data loss or corruption. Miss item is light weight but should be noted. It is not the best quality memory stick I possess and I have use but works well for the purpose of storing PDF files, which I’ve been scanned onto the data pen find a brother scanner.
Just got a couple of these 128GB versions. Write speed is about 28MB/s, with read being a little over 120MB/s. Would be better if the write speed were faster, especially if writing 10s of GB, but it’s not bad for the price.
This is a decent USB memory stick, it is good quality, well made and nice and compact. Cannot fault the performance at all, i had no compatibility issues and the transfer speed is very fast, it’s a convenient item to have.
Just over 20 (at the time of review) which i think is reasonable due to the large 256 gb capacity and compared to similar products, good quality memory stick and performs perfectly.
Product is great for the price. I bought to use in my ps4 but it just doesn’t quite fit in due to the chunky case. I had to pull the PS4 lid up a bit to connect it to the front usb. Maybe buy
a slimmer one for your ps4
The USB tang retracts, I keep it in my pocket.
Saved my photos off my old Laptop, and there was years on there
Good price and works. Quicker than some at this price point.
It’s a flash drive and nothing too much to say. It works and after weeks of constant usage, it’s still working.
So thumbs up I’d say.
Amazed at how cheap large capacity flash drives have become. So far has worked faultlessly.
Good value for money. Build quality is okay. You get what you pay for. Speeds as described by others.
This Is nothing special to look at but looks and feels durable. The quality is pretty good and is well made and easy to use and appears in my laptop instantly. The storage is really great and is a good enough size to fit into any pocket.
What else to say? It’s a decent sized USB stick. The only caveat is that out of the box it’s capacity is very low (on Windows) but that was all sorted by formatting the thing.
Long story short version. I use operation system is a next, Windows 10, Apple Machintos 12.2, Ubuntu linux 22.04. This pendrive not see all operation system.
I don’t know why?
So I have no chance to copy file in this pendrive.
I try formating 3 different system don’t want to see just a Windovs 10.
So I not recomend this product, because you just drop out your money.
Choose traveler memory stick.
Works well but a bit flimsy.
Small.
Lots of storage perfect for pictures and videos.
This flash drive is very no frills but it does the job it is supposed to do and it does it well too. It does feel rather flimsy and light but this does not seem to effect its performance.
At the current price of around 22 I think this item is reasonable value, so I would recommend.
Easy to use – just plug in and it is ready to accept files, folders, photos, etc and with 256GB it holds more than some of my older Hard Drives. Very useful and versatile transportable storage
Seems to work as advertised and is adequate for the job, read/write speeds are not bad and it certainly is a usable item. I have both added and removed data without a problem. The build quality is not premium, but having said that with careful usage it doesnt feel like it will fall apart easily. its definitely a case of you get what you pay for. Yes its a basic flash drive but its priced about right and works.
This USB Flash Drive arrives well packed in a pretty ugly, Amazon Basics branded cardboard box.
The body of the Flash Drive is made of cheap feeling plastic. It feels reasonably robust and capable off withstanding everyday use, but I’m doubtful it would stand up to dropping or being stood on. With the USB connector retracted the drive measures 5.7cm long by 2cm wide and is 1.3cm thick.
On the top is a simple slider that is used to extend and retract the USB Type-A connector. At the opposite end to the connector is a semicircular loop, allowing you to attach a keyring, lanyard, or similar, to the flash drive.
In use the Flash Drive was fine to use. I had no issue connecting and disconnecting it from a variety of devices with USB Type-A sockets. I also like the retractable connector, as it give it some protection when not in use, especially as many will store such devices in their pockets or at the bottom of a bag, whilst at school, work or travelling. Performance wise the drive was a mixed bag. Read speeds were faster than I expected, but write times were slower. It was by no means terrible though.
In conclusion, this is a budget end 256GB Flash Drive. It is perfectly OK at what it does, but given the low price and cheap plastics used, it’s a flash drive that I personally would only use it for non-essential, temporary uses, rather than use it to store mission critical data, or anything that require long term storage.
~ Amazon asked me to review this product and to give my honest opinion about it. That’s what I have set out to do, so I hope you found it helpful. ~
Going to use this for storage for my photos.
Great storage, for brilliant price.
Don’t know about quality, I don’t think it feels cheap like. And for the price, nothing to complain about.
This is a really good value memory stick and has the storage it claims to have. The USB slides out with a little slider switch, and there is a keyring loop on the body. There’s no cap to lose with this design which I like.
Build quality is a perfectly adequate, but is perhaps a bit plastickky. The keyring loop especially is quite thin plastic and I wouldn’t expect this key to last long if you used it on an actual keyring and carried it about with you. For moving files about between computers however, it’s absolutely fine. Read and write times are what you would expect and are reasonable. It’s not blazing fast, but at the same time you won’t be cursing as the progress bar inches across your screen.
Great value and large, and it works well. Nothing to dislike here.
It’s retractable which is good better than this with a loose lid to lose.
Plugged it in and moved files to and fro with no issue.
There was 231gb of free space.
The quality of the drive is very plastic but it does not feel brittle, it is however very light. It does feel a little on the budget side in regards to build quality but I really like how light it is because it will just fit in your pocket or in a bag and add little to no weight. I think the plastic feel does help it’s light weight nature.
There is a little slider on the top which pushes out the USB connector when you slide one way and then sends it back when you slide the other. This is really useful as it protects the USB end of the device. At the back of the device is a little loop for a keychain but if be wary about using this, the plastic is very thin on the loop here and I don’t think it would stand up to much before it broke.
The device seems reliable and at 128gb is huge, I think for the cost of 11.96 as of October 2022 it is great value, your getting a lot of storage space for your money.
I ran a few tests on the speed and was getting speeds on a par with what is advertised, this is good and the drive seems to perform well in real world testing. There are no issues with data transfer either, everything transfers as it should without the drive causing any problems.
Overall im really impressed, there’s nothing fancy here such as lights or gimmicks it is just a fairly fast USB stick that’s got a high capacity, it does what it should and well. I would just have liked a slightly better build quality.
So fair warning, full disclosure from the start, this was a product sent at zero cost to me under Amazon’s Vine programme. That doesn’t mean it gets an automatic favourable review though. User reviews are the main thing I look for when buying something and I think they are gem of the internet age. They mean we get to share our experiences with each other before spending our cash on something. So here goes, honest review time.
What you get in the box is the USB drive itself and some product information.
The build isn’t bad, but not exactly premium feel. It’s plastic bodied and the USB connector slides in and out just fine. The keyring clip feels like plastic and not particularly heavy-duty, although it does feel fairly robust.
Performance is actually fairly good in that it performs as it should. Decent recent read and write speeds for the most part and the capacity is as advertised.
So the conclusion is fairly straight forward. It’s a no-frills USB drive that performs mostly as it claims to. I think the keyring clip might be a potential weak point, but I do like the black radial design, it’s sleek and offers some grip.
