This is the first android TV box I’ve bought and the level of control it gives you is a revelation. I bought a new TV but the amount of Ad ware and Spy ware is astonishing and might be the reason for the price point they can be sold at seeing as the amount of data it would give them to sell on the open market. The android box is on Angel either. I can’t change the Desktop which is terrible. On on specifications there’s no need to go for anything more than really 32 GB of storage 4GB. I can’t get voice search to work. Seems like the remote is the issue there.
It’s perfect and great value for the price.
One small thing that l find a little irritating is the remote control,it’s just awkward in my hands but the unit is excellent.
Does what says on tin. Can be a bit slow on streaming but I think that is down to my wifi and not the tv box.
Bought for a replacement as my older box was getting sluggish. This is a great replacement, so much quicker to navigate around and far better remote.
Currently plugged into an 80″ Sharp tv using HDMI4, TP Link booster, regular broadband and now enjoying full hd movies from apps.
Just imagine your TV is now a giant mobile phone so to get the movie or music apps you need to sign into Google Play.
You have the option on the main screen to add your favourite apps.
Sound using Android box needs to be raised on regular Tv remote and once you go back to regular terrestrial or satellite Tv, lower volume or it will blast your ears off!
Hopefully newer models of Android tv boxes will include full Dolby sound but for now it is a great investment.
Enjoy movie nights without annoying talkative movie goers, close the curtains, turn off the lights, get the popcorn and nachos out and have a great evening!
Test the free HD movie apps on your mobile phone first as some come with ads that are easier to close [x] than others and not as easy on a TV screen.
Definitely better than paying sky high prices for certain overly expensive cable tv!
Good product, good selle
This box is pretty good but the only problem is it doesn’t support a lot of basic apps like Netflix, it does have a very old version of Netflix installed but you can’t update it on the playstore because it isn’t on there but you can just download the APKs if you can’t find certain apps on the play store. Bit stupid that you have to do that though especially for this price.
