Put it in our box room as there was a bit of mould on the walls appearing and my neighbour suggested a dehumidifier would help.
I knew nothing of these devices, so I went for this small one and it works a charm. I leave it running all the time and within the first week the water tank was almost full.
It’s quite impressive and there is no longer that dampness in the room and mould hasn’t returned since then. Also windows don’t have condensation on them as they used to.
All in all very happy with it, it’s small and practical. I wish the power cable was a bit longer, but other than that it’s all good.
You can hear a slight hum when it’s on, it may bother some people who are sensitive to sounds, but good for me.
This is very easy to use and, in this damp time of year. I keep it running continuously. It runs on 23w I think so is not too greedy with the electricity. I am amazed how much water it extracts from the air every day – for us at the moment, a tumblerful every 4 or 5 days. The water reservoir is very easy to slide out and decant but sometimes jams if not reinserted at quite the right angle. [If you need to force it you’ve got the angle wrong! When it’s right it just slides back in easily].
If you are a very light sleeper and it is in your bedroom the motor could be a little noisy – so have it on in the daytime and/or move it to another room at night. It sounds a bit like an extractor fan.
I am very pleased I bought this as the rooms feel less damp.
Having used disposable dehumidifiers before, I was sick of the cost and waste so thought to invest.
And I’m very glad I did! Easy to set up, great size, no problems getting rid of water and it works!
Quiet enough to leave on at night, and effective.
I had such bad condensation round my windows and mould was developing, but with this, it now keeps my room dry with no mould. A great buy!

I bought this product to use in my bathroom. It’s very easy to use just one on/off switch. It’s easy to empty and it comes with instructions. Definitely only suitable for a small room. It’s easily carried if you want to use in a different room. My bathroom is not big and this is ideal. The delivery was prompt and the item was packed well.
Using it our conservatory, hope it is big enough for the job, hadn’t realised it would be as small as this but will give if the benefit of a trial at least!

This is small but does a great job. My bedroom has a problem with damp and it’s collected a lot of water. I have it on all the time and don’t find it too noisy. Highly recommend
Tiny dehumidifier, but perfect for what I needed. I used this in the cupboard that my washing machine normally lives in to dry out a slow leak that had built up and resulted in a wet hardboard floor. This little machine has been on for about a week and the floor is dry now, at least on the surface. Will leave it in for another week or so. It would be great if there was a handle to lift the machine out easier from difficult to access places, then it would be perfect! Extremely quiet. Very well packaged.
I purchased this product to help with drying my washing indoors, and I have to say that there is a difference in how quickly the washing is drying. It’s not a miracle product, but it definitely helps!
It just quietly hums away in the background, so not noisy at all.
All in all, it’s a great little product.
Nice looking little unit which is probably only useful in small rooms. Left it switched on overnight in a bedroom where we get mould in one corner of the ceiling. By morning about half an inch of water had collected in the container so it seems to be doing something! We did have quite a bit of condensation on the window though but this might be due to a night blind being down which sits within the window space and so doesn’t allow the moisture to escape. Not sure if it’s supposed to be left on all the time though. The noise level was quite low and sounded a bit like gentle white noise so if anything it probably helped me get off to sleep.

It’s very small so isn’t going to sort out big damp issues but in a small room it’s fine. I use it in my bedroom and leave it on overnight and it doesn’t disturb my sleep. I’ve had it a week and a half and have emptied the tank once, I leave it running most nights and turn it off during the day, when I’m not home.
Trying to avoid a long rant but I have been dealing with a mould and mildew issue at home! I was very concerned as my son room always smells moldy and I always have to be cleaning it up.. I’ve put this in jus one day.. 1 day… ONE day.. in the center of the room.. and the smell is gone, the window is not sweating like it normally does.. its so quiet we barely know that’s its on. and so much water had been collected
I live in a cottage built in 1856, so it’s old and a bit damp. The external wall was wet due to my next door neighbours blocked up gutters, running down my wall. I bought this as it was cheap and I didn’t want something that would be extortionate to run. I have this on 24/7 and it’s great. I empty it probably every other day. It makes a sound but it’s not noisy, I’ve had it 2 weeks and no longer notice the whirring.
My wall is still a bit wet but it’s no where near like it used to be, it’s made a massive difference, I can really tell. There’s also less condensation on my living room window too.
I’m going to purchase another one for my bedroom. Highly recommend
I now have several of these in my old house, they live in areas where I have had a damp problem before. I have had a couple of the transformers fail in the last couple of years but these are about 11 quid on Amazon so no problem. I must have sold dozens of these by recommendation to friends and family, very effective up to about 4 feet either side, and great in corners and under the stairs.
Nice little dehumidifier, originally bought one to clear condensation on bedroom window. So impressed bought multiples for other rooms and garden cabin. Left on to run and only had 1 stop working; got in contact with supplier and replacement sent out no problem.

Remember this is the smallest kind of electrical dehumidifier. Size does matter.
I ran it 16 hours the first day and 11 hours the second and it trapped the water you see in the picture over that period.
About 250ml in 27 hours.
It works and definitely helps but its not enough for a bay window. I have this trapped behind curtains so only has the air between curtains and window to deal with. It clears a pathway through the centre of one window ( no condensation whatsoever) but not the whole window and baring in mind. The bay window is 3 windows wide. 3 of these would be needed in winter to deal with that small space I trapped which is; (8 foot by 7 foot and 5 inches wide). That’s less space than a toilet cubicle.
So I would only recommend this for a small single bedroom window. Anything else would be like using a drinking straw to drain a reservoir.

started leaving it running 24 hours a day for atleast 5 days a week sometimes 7 days a week for all that time. Its still running perfectly and absorbing the exact same amount so the pumps still at 100%.
Considering its got some bad reviews im now starting to think they probably weren’t looking after theres properly as after running mine for 4 months. 3 of wich were none stop 24/7 I’m 101% sure this is one of the best on the market for its size and definitely a suprise at the price. Love it and I can also report I have no damp patches from the winter condensation to repair on my huge bay windowsill in living room. Normally there are 2 large damp patches either side, that end up with black mould spots covering the damp.
Wait for this,…. Zero damp zero mould. And all down to this little dehumidifier.

I keep this in my bedroom next to the windows as they are prone to condensation and mildew. I’ve had this for nearly a week and am yet to have to empty the tank. The windows are clear and dry.
It’s relatively quiet and compact so can go most places, the wire isn’t particularly long but it was fine for me.
Pros: Good quality plastic, compact, not noisy, no overheating upon continuous operation.
Cons: Not too efficient. Could collect only about 20-25ml in 24hrs time in the autumn-winter month.
Can give a small help to reduce indoor humidity, but cannot be solely dependent on this i guess.
Brought this product as I have had problems with dampness in my bedroom, especially as it gets colder and closer towards winter time. I usually get in damp crystals/tablets but have found these can take too long to collect water. Since this item arrived i’ve had it turned on for a couple of hours throught the day with great results in just 24hrs. Usually it can take days for any water to collect, but with this dehumidifier its already collected about 100ml of water. Its small so can pretty much sit anywhere and doesnt really make any noise (I could easily sleep with it on). Would definitely recommend

Ours is in the kitchen. I’ve lent to my daughter for a couple days and the condensation from using an air fryer and wet washing is back straight away
