My kids complained about the cheaper ones, and to ber fair I can also tell the difference, worth it in my view, cuts nice and not very noisey like clippers can be. Its a good buy at half price when I got this.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought this to give myself a haircut, for the price a good product that comes with all the various sized attachments and has an adjustment on the clippers for length. Only used once but did the job well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent clippers , been cutting my own hair for many years and I think these are the best clippers I’ve ever had . Got these to replace my last ones that I accidentally broke. Quiet, sharp and do an excellent job.

My husband has always use clippers to cut his own hair but having had soo many cheaper ones that have ended up breaking or not cutting properly we decided to spend a bit more this time. Definitely better quality, multiple accessories and easy to use.

Easily the best clippers I have ever bought! It cuts through the hair so well and you are not left with patches all over your head. The clippers are Lightweight, quiet and smooth. Well worth the money. Fantastic

If your looking for the best hair trimmer out there, this is it! Very quiet razor sharp cuts and with the addition of a blend switch, any cut is a breeze. Extremely well built and packaged in a superb case. This will last for years. Id definitely recommend to anyone especially good with afro hair.

I’d used corded Wahl clippers for years, but a recent set just pulled and tore at my hair and I returned them. Tried these cordless ones instead and am very pleased… battery lasts well between haircuts, much lighter and better cutting.
The clipper guides are a bit fiddly to use and the lettering on them is quite hard to read, but you get used to them.

Good product. Bought it from Amazon several weeks ago and already have cut my hair a few times and battery still going strong. Haven’t recharged yet. I bought it to replace my old BaByliss hair clipper which lasted for approximately 10 years. Hopefully this product will last equally as long. For the short time I’ve had the product everything is good. So will recommend this product.

This is the second pair of BaByliss clippers I’ve owned, the first lasting for about 7 years before developing battery problems, which is understandable given the number of times I used it. They are the same model as before, and I am so pleased that the company still produce the same clippers as they are fantastic to use, are of a good weight and offer an excellent cut. The product looks and feels VERY premium and you would think they were much more expensive if you didn’t know the price. The product comes in a very convenient box (previous model came in a nylon zip bag). I fully recommend these clippers.

No problem with the way it cuts but why make the numbering on the guide combs so small and difficult to read, the on/off switch isn’t the easiest to use with it being flush with the body, niggles but there shouldn’t be any on such a simple product as they’re so obvious and easy to correct.

After years of bending double over the bath to shave my head I finally decided to convert to battery powered clippers I was always dubious of the power and battery life but cannot fault these. Battery lasts an age, no problems whatsoever ever cutting through thick hair and beards and much quieter than my mains set.

So far it seems to work well, a tad more expensive than the last Phillips one I had which lasted about 10 years hopefully on this one the combs will clear better and not clog as much.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersHaving bought several (Panasonic, Remington and the like) clippers that cost more than this one, all of which had problems of one kind or another, I tried the XTP on offer. This was mainly because a very cheap Babyliss I have was working at least as well as an 85 Panasonic but had limited battery life and power, so I wondered what a more upmarket model would do.

I have been using this for several months and It performs extremely weill. As hair clippers, there is no blocking of the depth guides and cutting is very efficient and even. Battery life is good and it is fairly quiet. It just works very well all round.

The best part for me is that it makes a cracking beard trimmer, even though it doesn’t seem to be marketed as one. I cut mine to a depth of 3mm, which it can do with no plastic guides clipped on and with a very low number of passes – i.e. it is quick. No hair tugging at all. The lever adjuster can then be moved to 0.6mm to trim edges.

Wish I’d bought one a long while ago as I could have saved myself a lot of money spent on other brands with drawbacks.

I usually buy Wahl as I trust them, but reviews and articles said this was a good product. I actually like it more than my previous Wahl’s. Build quality is sturdy, and it feels good in the hand. Battery life is excellent.
I particularly like the storage box it comes with that holds the trimmer and assorted blades; it’s a proper box and not something you would discard as a cheapo gimmick.

Very impressed with the build quality & robustness of these clippers. The fact that they are guaranteed for 5 years says it all. Gives a very professional hair cut, whether using cordless or mains power.

I went from using an original babyliss ceramic taper clipper to this. At first I didn’t like it as the taper lever on this slides so it’s harder to keep track of settings. But now Ive started to use this to my benefit by getting a more detailed taper. People complain about the on off switch but all you do is hold it normally and with your pinky you can easily turn it on and off whilst retaining your grip. Loses 1 star because it does tug and pull at longer lengths so you have to take it easy. Shorter lengths or with no comb it doesn’t seem so bad

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have an old mans beard, which neds a trim every week. I had an old Whal trimmer which I went sticky, and I tried all sorts to clean it. Binned it. Replaced that with a Philips (like their stuff) but could not get a trimmed beard that looked right, always uneven. Speculated on a Babyliss trimmer. When it came the on switch would not work, so asked for a repacement. When packing the “old” triimmer the swich worked.? The new one arrived , and no problems. I love the looks, how it feels, and how it works, so much so I look forward to using it. I do not touch my hair on my head, my barber looks after that (theres not that much of it) I look after my beard, which my barber thinks looks good. You can take that as a recommendation.

Bought these clippers to use during lockdown, they’re easy to use, sharp, and come with quite a few different size attachments – I only use a couple of them to be fair.

    Good clippers.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersDuring the first lock-down, I purchased my first ever hair-clippers; I went for a cheaper version as most others were out-of-stock at the time. It was fine for a while, but then became very temperamental and was a pain to complete a haircut. So I decide to buy a “branded” one, especially now that they were back in stock at Amazon. This one seemed to fit my needs perfectly and was a brand that I recognised and trusted. (my wife has bought several BaByliss hair-driers in the past and wouldn’t consider any others) These hair-clippers are so much stronger and robust, just as I had hoped it would be. With battery power or mains operated, it just seems so great and my wife has suddenly become quite a professional hairdresser! (that’s what I tell her anyway and she seems to enjoy that compliment!….and it’s saving me a fortune, compared to what I was paying my ‘normal’ hairdresser) Not much more to add really, other than I (and the wife) are really pleased with this purchase and wish we could have bought this one first time around. BaByliss never seems to let us down; and it’s not the dearest on the market either! I hope you find my review helpful.

Bought this like most people, out of desperation for a lockdown haircut! Best set of clippers I’ve ever used, the blades are unbelievably accurate and sharp, and the amount of guides inside has led to bring able to do fades etc.

I have bought Wahl and Phillips cordless clippers in the past and tended to aim for the 30 to 40 bracket. I was reluctant to spend more but was recommended the BaByliss XTP by a friend. I took the plunge and am so glad i did. The extra spend got me a really well balanced clipper with superb blades and plenty of cutting guides to suit anyone. I also got amazing length of charge compared to past purchases, with those I would often have to connect the charging cable to finish the cut.

A very good well made hair clipper, and does a very good job
Feels reassuringly expensive when turned on and start cutting hair
Lots of extras in the box, which to be fair the box is a little flimsy and extras are a pain to put back if fall out but it cuts hair very very well, which is the most important thing

Very good quality product. I owned BaByliss products before but this one exceeded my expectations. I mainly use it for a total head shave and what I like about it is that it trims really short. I can’t say much about battery life but since I received it, I haven’t charged it yet. After about 10 uses it still has some battery left.

This is quite powerful and will get the job done in no time. Charges quickly, Feels good in the hand, and not too light or heavy for that matter. Changing the combs is easy. I Cant see the case lasting too long and it seems a bit on the light side, time will tell.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is replacement for an old one. Works great – the best thing about it is the graduation setting – the previous one I had was quite a jump between some of the fixture numbers. You can graduate this to 5-6 micro-levels between the length attachments, so great for cuts with different lengths / fades etc. A minor gripe is that I don’t find the on/off button in the most intuitive position – it’s towards the bottom of the hand grip, so personally I find it difficult to access one-handedly (maybe there’s a secret trick to this that I’m missing – seems a bit stupid?) Definitely well worth it and I’d buy again.

This is an awesome trimming. Like a lot of people, I’ve gone with the fashionable Corona buzzcut. I was using an old clippers for this, but had trouble fading the edges.

Arrived today, charged for 3 hours, and 20 minutes later, clean neat and tidy haircut using the edgers. The edger can also be used to clean up the line at the back of the head, just make sure the deeper blades are towards the crown of your head.

I’ve used this once and you get all the attachments you would need and it feels sturdy to hold

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIt does what it is designated to do. Few minor irritating points. The switch to turn the clipper on and off i think is badly positioned on the side and it is not easy to operate as it is stiff and difficult to switch on/off with one finger.

You need to hold the clipper with one hand and use the other to turn it on and off. Ideally you should be able to do that easily with one hand whilst using it. The clip guard are made of very hard plastic and some of the edges are not as smooth giving plenty of skin rash.

Needless to say expensive for a non professional hair clippe

These are the best clippers I’ve had. The storage box is excellent, everything has its place.

They feel quality, cut well pleased all round.

Can’t comment on the battery life yet.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI purchased this for my husband as he wanted something simple and easy to use, and in the long term cheaper than going to the barbers. However, I find it easier if I trim his hair using this appliance and so far I have had good success. Not yet cut off his ears or made a mess of his hair!!!
