The reviews of this made it sound flimsy, but if you follow the instructions correctly and make sure everything SNAPS together, it stays exactly where it should be and the controller is just as easy to put in as normal. In fact, the controller feels like it fits even better than standard. Keep killing it you guys!!!
I have a few controller’s with the extreemrate remap kits and was fed up with having charging cables all over the place. As soon as I found out they did the adaptor for the official Sony charger I though I’d give them a go and they work great.

I was so pleased to learn they made this adapter, after installing the remap back button kit.
The adapter works well and fits tightly on to the charging stand. But the connection between the controller and the adapter is really flimsy. You sort of have to balance the controller on it and wobble it until you find the right spot, then gently let go. I often find the controller hasn’t charged because it wasn’t quite on right.
It definitely charges the controller, if placed PERFECTLY. Just watch out for the wobble.
I took off stars for the ease of assembly and install while I found it easy I do enjoy doing that kind of thing I can see where it could be very confusing granted if you need this you probably already put together the rise kit. As much as I like extremerate they should have headlined this is ONLY for the OFFICIAL SONY charging dock. and 2 if the mounting holes were fixed a little higher on the controller this likely wouldn’t be needed and it would also possibly eliminate much of the accidental touching the paddles especially when picking up the controller or adjusting your hands,one last slight negative thing when you place the controller on the dock it seems flimsy kinda rides high..not that I’ve had a controller fall it just seems that way. With that being said if you get the rise remap kit I would still recommend this attachment if you have or plan to get the official Sony dock it really does complete the package and make life easier,..I hate the dawn remap kit but love the rise, these guys do pay attention and progressively improve
Fairly easy to assemble, not sure why they send in pieces but for the money it is worth it. Some say the controller is wobbly on there but it is no different than original.

I was about to give away my controller charging station since I have no use for it until I saw this. This extension kit gives my charging station a second life. They are easy to assemble. Only companies are you have to make sure the controller it’s charging other than that I would recommend getting it.
So good being able to use controllers with rise kits on the charging station. While they don’t “click” in like the stock ones so it still sits and charges with no issues, can be a little wobbly and sit slightly crooked but yet to have a controller fall off from light bumps and movement.
